Quest moved forward with frightening speed, his fist aimed directly at Garrett. But Garrett's instincts kicked in just in time—he dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding the blow. Quest's leg shot out before Garrett could recover, and this time, it connected squarely with his stomach.

Garrett felt the air leave his lungs again as he was sent flying back. His body slammed into the ground, rolling several feet before he finally came to a stop. Pain shot through his ribs, but there was no time to recover. In an instant, Quest leaped high into the air, at least 20 feet above the ground, his arm pulled back, ready to deliver a devastating punch.

Garrett's mind screamed for him to move. He rolled to the side just as Quest's fist came crashing down. The impact was like a small explosion, sending a shockwave rippling through the street. The ground shattered beneath Quest's hand, concrete and dust flying in every direction. Five long craters, perfectly shaped like Quest's hand, tore through the ground where Garrett had been just seconds ago.

Panting, Garrett scrambled to his feet, his heart pounding in his chest. He had barely dodged that punch, and the raw power of it was terrifying. If that had connected, it would've been over.

Quest stood back up slowly, pulling his fist out of the ruined ground with an almost casual ease. There wasn't a scratch on him—not a bruise, not a cut. Nothing. It was like the concrete had been nothing more than paper to him.

Garrett stared in disbelief. He had heard the stories, but seeing Quest's sheer power up close was something else entirely. This wasn't just a skilled fighter. This was a force of nature.

Quest turned his cold, dark eyes toward Garrett again, his expression unchanged. "You're not fast enough," he said flatly, as if this was a mere warm-up for him. His voice carried an air of indifference, as though Garrett wasn't a threat—just another body in his way.

Garrett wiped the sweat from his brow, his heart racing as he tried to come up with a plan. He couldn't go toe-to-toe with Quest. Not like this. The kid was faster, stronger, and seemingly invulnerable. But Garrett had faced impossible odds before, and he wasn't about to back down.

He just needed to think. He had to find a way to outsmart him—because brute force alone wasn't going to win this fight.
