Chapter 88: Reprimands

Blade awoke, pleasantly surprised that he wasn't in pain, despite being knocked out in a single hit. He was laying on a soft bed, in a rather bright room. And his fur was dry, still covered in mud, but dry. His mind wandered to how he'd arrived.

That question was answered as he sat up and was greeted by Cameron and Lucario looking down upon him. "Shit!"

"Good morning to you too," Lucario, folding his arms as he looked over the Sneasel with a half-smile. "Had fun last night?"

"How…" Blade's jaw began to quiver, he wasn't normally frightened easily, but he knew what Lucario was capable of. "How much do you?"

"Bastinado, stocks, humiliation and near rape," said Lucario. "You have some interesting hobbies."

"Ugh. Lucario take this seriously," groaned Cameron. "I can't handle this right now."

Blade felt on the spot now, it was like he could see it in Lucario's eyes that he wanted to punish him. His eyes shifted to Cameron and he couldn't help but smirk. The boy was shirtless, his hair a mess, and his eyes were bloodshot. He was rubbing his temples from the headache.

"Wow…somebody had a rough night!" Blade tried to joke, hoping to get away from the punishment to come.

"Look Blade," Cameron spoke firmly, ignoring his taunt. "Nova and Geyser told us what happened. You froze Hunter's paws to a tree, slapped his paws, stuck an icicle in his butt and tried to fuck him. All without his consent!"

Blade folded his own arms in attempted defiance. "No. Hunter agreed that…"

Cameron cut him off. "Yeah, we know about the contest too. That isn't consent Blade. Consent has to be freely given and specific to what it is you're doing. Don't play games with me i'm so not in the mood." He put a hand on his stomach, closed his eyes and whispered, "ahh I think I'm going to throw up."

"Don't do it on me," Blade snickered, again trying to make light of the situation.

Cameron's eyes snapped open. "Alright look, here's the deal. You want to play with the other Pokémon, you play nice. No roughhousing, no bullying, no hurting others and if you want to mate. It has to be consensual. Understand."

"Umm." Blade wasn't opposed to it, but as a sneasel it was in his nature to try and dominate others. Especially since the one he held to be the alpha of his pack was gone.

"Understand!" Cameron repeated more forcefully. "Seriously Blade, if you aren't going to play nicely with Hunter and the others then I'll just have to keep you in your Pokéball."

Blade sighed. He did not want that, being alone with his thoughts was already bad enough when he could do stuff. "Fine. I-I'll. Be nice to Hunter."

"And."

"And I promise, no mating stuff without consent, okay!" He conceded, knowing better than to argue.

Cameron sighed again but nodded. "Glad to hear it. I was going to make you spend the rest of the day in your Pokéball to make you reflect on what you've done. But seeing as my head feels like it is going to explode, I'll let you off with a warning. I better go lie down."

He turned to leave and Lucario made to follow, but lent over Blade before doing so. He put his maw close to his ear. "He's hungover so you got off lightly. But I'll be keeping my eye on you from now on. If you do anything like that to Hunter again and I'll castrate you."

Blade jumped at the threat, his eyes widening in fear. He knew Lucario wasn't just talking, the aura pokemon meant every word.

"I once killed a Metang with my bare paws when it threatened Hunter as an egg. Don't get me wrong, that pup needs his attitude adjusting once in a while and I'd be lying if I said the thought of him punished like that wasn't a turn on but… you talk about instinct a lot. Try parenteral instinct. There is nothing I won't do to protect Hunter. So, from now on, if you're going to get your dick out, it has better stay safe, sane, and consensual. Got it."

Blade nodded, too intimidated to speak.

"Good. Glad we understand each other!"

And with that, Lucario followed Cameron out.

Blade wasted now time quickly exiting the building himself, glancing around looking for somewhere on this ranch to have some time away from everyone else.

He didn't hate them, but he didn't like being around them. So he scurried off through the ranch until he came to a large windmill. It seemed to be the only place of true solitude around there. He extended his claws and ascended to the top of the windmill. It stood on a hill, overlooking the rest of the ranch they were on. He sat down, putting his claws over his knees. He looked around, taking in the area, paddocks, streams, trees, hills, and even mountains beyond.

And he was able to see the activities of the pokemon living there. His eyes locked onto Ashachu, who was seemingly talking to Nova and Geyser by the stream. He was too far to hear them, but he wondered what they were talking about about, if they were talking about him. By then everyone probably heard about what he'd done to Hunter. The riolu was nowhere to be seen.

He had gone too far. He knew it, he should've known better, he hurt someone he cared about, again. And he'd probably lost them forever.

"What the hell am I even doing here," he sighed, his voice cracking. "How did my life become this?" He let out another long sigh. "And what have I even become? Guess it's all about you know kid." He promised himself he would speak to Ashachu later. Even if it meant going near Nova. He didn't have anything against him. Blade knew he was in the wrong, knew Nova was right, and yet he knew he'd likely be hostile toward the cyndaquil.

"Blade," came a curious voice from above.

He looked up and saw Dragonite flying overhead. The dragon stopped in mid-air, turning around, and looking down at him.

"What are you?"

"FUCK OFF!"

Dragonite shrugged. "Alright." He turned back around and continued to fly.

Blade sighed again as Dragonite flew off. "Fuck." He chuckled, laying his head down, he spoke aloud, feeling tears forming in his eyes. "Of course, it's my own fault, I hurt everyone around me, I hurt everyone I love." He stood up and glanced over the side of the windmill.

Would that height be enough? Simply stepping off the top of the windmill could end everything, couldn't it. Make the pain stop. Save his friends from whatever he'd manage to fuck up next.

Just as he lifted his leg to take the plunge he sat back down. "Yeah great idea Blade, abandon everyone you know and might still care about you. Just like him." He sobbed into his knees. "Just leave the people that need you most…"

He thought for a moment, the memory of the Darkrai warming his heart, but only making him cry more. "Why did you abandon me…why does everyone I love always leave me…" he laid back and slammed his head into the roof. "Stupid stupid stupid. Dumb idiot! Worthless sneasel!" He kept slamming his head back. "All you do is make things worse for good people…Cleave was right. I shouldn't have been…" He reached down gripping his legs, cutting into them with his claws. The sneasel stayed still, sobbing into his knees, his grip on his legs, cutting them deeper.

"I'm gonna die alone aren't I?"
