As the last of the Toads finished restocking supplies on The Odyssey, Daisy stood beside Rosalina, both of them gazing out at the stars. The calmness of the Comet Observatory contrasted sharply with the turmoil back in the Mushroom Kingdom. Daisy turned to Rosalina with a grateful smile.

"Thank you, Rosalina," Daisy said warmly. "The supplies and the help you've provided have been more than I could have asked for. I don't know how we would have gotten this far without your generosity."

Rosalina floated gracefully beside her, her serene presence radiating an otherworldly wisdom. "You've always been a friend to the stars, Daisy. It's only natural that we help when we can." Her voice was soft, yet carried the weight of the universe. "But I know you carry the burden of the battles ahead. You have questions, don't you?"

Daisy nodded. "I do. There's so much at stake, and I feel like the weight of it is crushing us. With Mario gone and the Kingdom in chaos, it seems like every move we make is just a desperate attempt to keep our heads above water."

Rosalina's expression softened. She understood the gravity of the situation better than most. "The galaxy feels the ripple of every event that takes place. Even from here, I can sense the turmoil in your world."

Daisy sighed, the weight of her responsibilities momentarily lifted by Rosalina's presence. "And it's only going to get worse. Robotnik is relentless, and with Ganondorf… we need every bit of help we can get."

Rosalina turned to face Daisy fully, her eyes glowing with a deep connection to the cosmos. "I cannot bring the Comet Observatory to the Mushroom Kingdom, Daisy. Not with what lies at its heart."

Daisy raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "What do you mean?"

Rosalina began to explain, her voice like the steady hum of the universe itself. "The Power Star that powers the Comet Observatory is not just a source of energy. It is the lifeblood of this place, giving life to the Lumas and connecting me to the fabric of the universe. It gives me my powers, and it sustains the balance of this observatory."

Daisy listened intently, her understanding deepening. "So, the Power Star is… everything."

Rosalina nodded. "Yes. There are many Power Stars scattered throughout the galaxies, each serving a unique purpose. Another one is hidden within Peach's Castle, giving life to the Mushroom Kingdom. These stars are essential to maintaining balance, and they are not meant for war."

"But what would happen if someone got their hands on a Power Star?" Daisy asked, her mind racing to think of the implications.

"If someone were to touch one directly," Rosalina said gravely, "they would gain unimaginable power for a brief time. But the Power Star would die, and the balance it sustains would be lost. That is why I cannot bring it closer to those who would seek to use it for harm. I must protect it at all costs."

Daisy exhaled, now fully understanding the delicate position Rosalina was in. "I see. I didn't realize how much you were protecting. It's not just your home—it's the balance of everything."

Rosalina smiled gently, though there was sadness in her eyes. "It is a burden I willingly bear, but it limits what I can do in times of war. I want to help, Daisy. But I cannot risk the Power Star falling into the wrong hands."

Just then, Rosalina froze, her eyes widening as if she were listening to something only she could hear. Daisy stepped closer, her voice filled with concern. "Rosalina? What's happening?"

Rosalina's expression shifted to one of intense concentration. Her connection to the universe deepened, and after a long pause, she whispered, "The Kong Kingdom has fallen."

Daisy's heart dropped. "What? No… not Donkey Kong's home too…"

Rosalina took a deep breath, her voice regaining its strength. "Ganondorf has destroyed it. The destruction is beyond anything I've sensed before."

Daisy straightened, determination filling her voice. "I'll leave with The Odyssey back to the Mushroom Kingdom immediately."

Rosalina reached out and gently placed a hand on Daisy's shoulder. "No, Daisy. You must stay here."

Daisy looked at her in confusion. "Stay here? Why? The Mushroom Kingdom needs all the help it can get!"

Rosalina's eyes shimmered with the light of distant galaxies. "There is something I must learn from the cosmos. It is vital to our survival, but I cannot do it alone. Trust me, Daisy. This is where you need to be."

Daisy hesitated but then nodded, trusting in Rosalina's wisdom. "Alright. I trust you. Just tell me what you need."

Rosalina floated a few feet higher, her gaze turning toward the stars. "I need to speak with the cosmos."

Daisy stepped back, watching as Rosalina connected with the universe, her power growing with every passing moment. She understood now that Rosalina's role was far greater than she had ever imagined, and as much as she wanted to fight, Daisy realized her path was now intertwined with the stars themselves.
