Diana was certain about almost everything in her life. She knew perfectly well that she held a privileged position as the daughter of the queen of the Amazons in Themyscira, and thus, she needed to strive even harder to meet the expectations of everyone in her training, not only to become a warrior but someone who would carry on the legacy of her mother, Queen Hippolyta, and her aunt, General Antiope.

One of the few doubts, probably the greatest uncertainty of her existence, lay in the need to be constantly on alert. Themyscira was the home of the Amazons, protected by the Gods. Who would pose any kind of threat to that hidden paradise? And if that were to happen, there was her greatest fear.

Why prepare so much for a war that would never come? Or would the war be out there? Because of all this, the highest cliff in Themyscira had always been Diana's refuge. To see what was out there. Since she was a child, she tried to catch a glimpse of anything in the endless sea. Until she started to challenge it.

Jumping from the heights and defying the force of the waves became a personal amusement and a fear for the queen on the few occasions she caught her daughter's adventure, the only child born on the island since its creation by the hands of the gods, both old and new.

But when the wave broke that time, it brought something different. And when it happened, it happened very quickly. Diana spotted something amidst the waves and watched even more attentively in the following seconds. It wasn't something, but someone who didn't even make an effort to free themselves from the clutches of the endless sea.

And so, Diana jumped off the cliff for the thousandth time. The air, the sea, the body, and the lack of reaction. She inhaled, swam, and had to exert even more effort to resurface. And the journey to the beach was also the most challenging one she had ever faced.

The princess of the Amazons needed a few seconds to catch her breath before realizing that the one she had rescued didn't repeat this basic movement. As she approached, she noticed no reaction. She tore apart the piece covering the stranger's chest and noticed arrow wounds and a strike just below the heart. So, he might have been dead even before reaching the water.

Nevertheless, she had to try. Pressure on the chest yielded no effect, and Diana panicked like never before in her life. Thus, she clasped her hands together and pleaded with those who could make a difference. After all, why would the Gods allow someone to reach their island after so long without being able to utter a single word?

Nothing seemingly happened before her eyes. However, the chest moved up and down, and the stranger took in air several times as if resurfacing after a long and painful dive. When their eyes met, she was curious, and Robb Stark was terrified.
