The sharp knock on the door and Tormund's shouts startled Diana and Robb. It was no longer a simple trip to Castle Black for a meeting between brothers. Patrolman Eddie Doloroso arrived in the middle of the night asking for help from those who had been saved by the current commander of the Night's Watch in order to avoid a mutiny led by Jon's enemies, who wanted not only to take his post but also to end his life. It was a matter of life and death for everyone there.

The lack of lookouts in Castle Black's garrisons made Eddie even more apprehensive, and the idea of a sneak attack was promptly abandoned. The giant Wun-Wun tried to break through the access gate two, three times until he broke the structure. Free Folk fighters stormed the place with Tormund and Eddie Doloroso at the head.

The mutineers appear under the leadership of Ser Alliser Thorne and put up a weak resistance to the invaders. Tormund even engages in combat with one of the rangers, while an archer slashes at Wun-Wun. Hitting it, the giant gets angry and slams the poor man's body against all the walls of Castle Black. Only the breaking of the bones breaks the sepulchral silence and results in the immediate surrender of all the rebellious soldiers.

_ You damned traitor! Thorne cursed as his allies lowered their weapons in surrender.

_ The only traitors are those who attacked the Lord Commander! – threatens Eddie Doloroso with his sword in hand.

_ Where is he? Jon, where is he? - Robb approaches the front platoon, along with Diana and questions his brother's whereabouts.

_ At least that, you couldn't get us out... He's dead! – Robb needs to be restrained by some rangers so he doesn't slit the traitor's throat – For thousands of years, the Night's Watch has protected Castle Black from wildlings!

_ Until you arrive... - Tormund sneers, dragging Robb to the other side of the building.

Then, Ser Davos Seaworth appears crying for help and stating that the Lord Commander had been cowardly stabbed. Robb, Tormund, Diana and Eddie leave the traitors aside and go to help the "Knight of Onions". When they arrive at the point, the former King of the North is desperate to find his brother's body covered in blood and tries to call him by name without getting an answer. Robb projects himself to support his brother's body and doesn't notice that he is still showing signs of life.

_ Robb... ROBB! You need to get away... - Diana shouts, while Tormund and Eddie pull the northerner - He's breathing, but he won't stay for long if he keeps losing so much blood!

_ What can we do? asks Eddie.

_ Do you have medication, herbs or any item to help stop all these injuries? Is there anyone else who knows how to care for the wounded in this place? Diana asks.

_ Take him inside... I know who can help us at this moment! - Shouts Ser Davos, as he dashes into the Castle's retirees.

Tormund and Robb get up and carry Jon to a room indicated by Eddie, while Diana searches for any utensil that might be useful to stem the loss of blood from her traveling companion's brother. The Amazon tries to give some basic guidelines for the men to help her apply pressure and stop the wounds. However, the body lost more and more color and heat.

_ He's not breathing anymore... - Tormund says to Robb's immediate despair.

_ His heart stopped beating... I need someone to help me make one... - asks Diana.

_ Pressure in the chest? - Robb is ready to help in helping his brother to the amazon's surprise.

After a few attempts, the situation is controlled and Ser Davos returns with Melisandre and a series of items on his lap. The Red Woman is willing to do anything to try to save the Lord Commander's life, only she deviates two or three seconds from her priority mission to contemplate Diana and Robb Stark.

_ The gods are expressing their wills here. Child, you've done your part. I'll take care of the Lord Commander from now on and we'll meet soon - she shoots staring at the amazon.

Melisandre's words further intrigue the pair, who are reluctant to part with Jon. Robb and Diana only agree to leave the chamber after being convinced by Eddie and Ser Davos that the Red Woman was a "powerful healer". The northerner barely contained his agony as he saw his brother's direwolf, Phantom, again.

The only rescued white wolf seemed to recognize the former King of the North and was even more affectionate as the Amazon approached. And it was only natural for Robb to reveal that he, too, had a wolf, Gray Wind, who faithfully accompanied him on the hunts close to home even in the fiercest battles during his brief reign. And Diana could understand why he never parted with that direwolf pendant.

Ghost seemed to guess when his protector returned to the world of the living for good. The wolf, who had been agitated, stilled and led them both to the door of the room occupied by Ser Davos and the Red Woman. The door opened and the follower of the Lord of Light ushered them in. Jon was confused, pale and scared. After all, he believed he had been visited by his older brother's spirit.

_ Robb? You couldn't be here... That's impossible!

_ No, I shouldn't... But, I'm here for you, my brother! – the northerner hugs his brother tightly, who briefly feels the pain of the traitors' attack.

_ Ser Davos said you arrived with the Free Folk and an Amazon? An amazon of our childhood stories? – Jon tries to process all the information of the last few hours. The rebellion, the assassination attempt, the help of the Free Folk, and Robb's return from the dead.

_ The stories were real, brother. I have a lot to tell you, but if I can, it's because of Diana, princess of the Amazons. – he takes the young woman's hand and brings her closer to the bed occupied by Jon – She brought me back to life.

_ She brought us back to life, Robb. I appreciate it princess... If there's anything I can do to make up for everything you've done for me or my brother.

_ Indeed, lord commander, I left Themyscira willing to fulfill the sacred duty of the Amazons to fight the King of the Night. And I know that the Night's Watch also has a mission to prevent the Long Night... - Diana punctuated.

_ Yes, the princess is correct. In fact, the mutiny... It all started because I decided to make a deal with the Free People to fight side by side in the Great War. Some just don't understand that the real fight will be between the living and the dead... - Jon tries to explain what led part of his army to decide to betray him.

_ Diana, I think we can wait until Jon is able to resume control of the Watch to talk about the Night King and the Great War...- Robb suggests in vain.

_ I don't need your brother to show us where the Night King is... He can tell us or indicate one of the patrolmen to take me to the nearest place to face him and... - Jon interrupts the speech of Diana untimely.

_ What are you talking about? Face the Night King alone? – Diana is upset by Jon's challenge – Princess, forgive me, but this is madness! The Night's Watch cannot contain the Night King, the Free Folk cannot contain him... And probably, all together we still won't be enough. Even if all the legends about the Amazon warriors are real, the princess will never be able to win this war alone. It's not about strength, it's the numbers and they're against us. - Commander of the Patrol seeks to leave them in the face of danger on the other side of the wall.

_ Diana, all the stories tell that the Last Long Night lasted a generation. It will not be a battle, but a war against the Night King. – Young Wolf advises his traveling companion who seems to give in to the urge to seek combat immediately.

_ The legends are right, Young Wolf. – the use of his 'ancient war appellation' surprises Robb – I understand your anxiety to honor your people, my child. Now more than ever, the night is dark and full of horrors... And one must not be in a hurry to find the evil that stands in our way.

Everyone is silent before the sentence pronounced by Melisandre. Despite not trusting the prophecies seen in the calls by the Woman in Red, the Knight of Onions suggested that everyone end that long and almost deadly day. Eddie Doloroso showed two accommodations so that the Night's Watch Commander's brother and his traveling companion could rest. And after so many days, the former King of the North found it difficult to find sleep again for the first time in his new life.
