A/N: A little something to help tide you all over, some little intermission skits based on the OVAs. Unlike the Supplementary Plans, which are non-canon, these little snippets are (though some of the more absurd comedic elements are exaggeration). I won't cover all the OVA skits, since not all of them would change with the twins' involvement. Anyways, enjoy.

Some time after the whole battle, the girls were all gathered together, where Miku asked a question.

"Oh right, there's something I've been meaning to ask about for awhile now." She said. "The whole "singing while fighting" situation, how exactly does that work?"

"Hmmm..." Hibiki put a hand on her chin. "Well, the best way to put it is... The Symphogear works just like a karaoke machine!"

"Karaoke?" Miku repeated.

"It's a karaoke armor, yeah." Rui said, not looking up from her phone as Maia laughed.

"Yeah!" Hibiki agreed. "I still don't really get it either. But when the music starts playing from the Symphogear, the lyrics just kind of well up from inside me."

"Lyrics, from inside you?" Miku asked.

"Yeah, that's pretty much what it's like." Chris confirmed, smirk on her face.

"The lyrics are also born straight form the user's imagination, at least Sakurai-san said as much once." Tsubasa added.

"You know, that suddenly explains oneesama's songs." Shuri added.

"Exactly." Tsubasa said. "Lyrics like "You doubt me…? Stupid question! My impulses inspire me" and such are perfectly fitting for Yukine."

"HUH?!" Chris shouted.

"There's even stuff like "No, destruction! Install a rakshasa" too!" Hibiki added.

"She really is a destructive moron, huh." Rui snarked.

"Stop it you two." Miku said. "Don't say things that will "gouge out wounds"."

Chris just fell over in indignation before standing up. "You jerks...!"

"Humph, your personality is always so untamed, Yukine." Tsubasa said.

"Wait just a damn minute!" Chris yelled, rapidly pointing at her. "You're the last person I want to hear that from! My songs may clearly show my honest personality, but yours are just the same! If that's what you call a "personality," it's on a level even a psychiatrist would run away from! Right, Maia?! You've probably seen in happen-!"

Maia was sitting in a corner, a storm cloud above her head.

"I didn't tell you how I left Tsubasa when we were young." She said, voice on the verge of crying. "That stung, Chris."

"Ahh! I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry!" Chris apologized.

"Though something I wonder." Miku said, looking at Rui, Maia and Shuri. "What if you guys got the Symphogears instead? What kind of songs would you sing?"

"Hmm..." Shuri thought. "Maybe something nice? Like wanting the fighting to stop, and things about world peace."

A thought bubble appeared above her, and it started shining incredibly brightly that the others had to cover their eyes.

"Whoa, that's a lot of light!" Hibiki said.

"Such purity." Tsubasa commented.

Chris had shades on to hide the proud look in her eyes. "That's my sister."

"My turn!" Maia said, pulling on a chain and turning off the light from Shuri's thought bubble and making it her own. "I think I'd-!"

"Pass." Rui said.

"Skip." Chris added.

"Wait, why?"

"Erm..." Miku fidgeted. "That's why."

She pointed at Maia's thought bubble, which had tons of black bars all over it.

"Oh, come on!" Maia yelled, tossing away the black bars. "You think I'm some sort of sexual deviant or some crap?"

"You don't want the honest answer." Rui said, flatly.

"Seriously!" Maia threw up her hands. "My lyrics would be about stuff like having a good fight, walking the path of life and Kanade!"

"Kanade?" Tsubasa repeated. "Why?"

"Well, she was my first real friend after all." Maia said, rubbing the back of her head with a smile. "You can't be the only one paying tribute to her, Basa."

"Whoa..." Hibiki and Miku were awed.

"That's really kind of you, Maia-san." Shuri said.

"Wow, that was... surprisingly wholesome." Chris commented.

"Thank you, neesama." Tsubasa said.

"Now, let's get to the main event!" Maia said, tossing Rui the thought bubble.

"Wait, back off-!"

They looked at the thought bubble, which was full of Rui making poses while shouting "Henshin!" and singing theme songs.

"...you know, I think this should have been expected." Maia said.

"Well, you know oneesan." Hibiki laughed, as the others joined her.

Red-faced, Rui grabbed the thought bubble and started to stomp on it.

"Relocating along with the Lydian Music Academy..." Hibiki started.

"Are also new student dorms!" Miku finished.

"Who the hell are you two talking to?" Rui asked, as she walked into the new dorm with the two.

"And with that, let's start customizing the bunk beds right away!" Hibiki said, rapidly moving boxes around.

"It was the same with our old dorm, but you always put a lot of effort into this part, Hibiki." Miku noted.

"Well, if we sleep together on the top bed, the bottom bed can be conveniently used as storage space!" Hibiki said.

"It's our own consolidated storage technique!" Miku noted.

"Wait, where am I gonna sleep?!" Rui yelled. "There's plenty of space in the new dorm! Don't fill up my bed!"

"Oh... whoops!" Hibiki said. "Sorry oneesan! I'll get to work right away!"

She started moving the boxes away from the bottom bunk.

"You really forgot about me?" Rui asked.

"Sorry, but I was thinking too much about sleeping on the top bunk!" Hibiki said. "After all, Miku is my sunshine! Next to her is the place I can sleep the best!"

"Hibiki..." Miku said, blushing smile on her face.

"Hey, uh Miku." Rui said. "You're doing the weird thing with your face again."

"Let's sleep together again tonight!" Hibiki said to Miku.

"Aaaand it became even redder." Rui noted.

Chris was sitting on the couch in the apartment, as she stared at the envelope she had in her hands.

"I had no idea that the Symphogear users of Sector Two and their sisters got an allowance." She said, looking at all the cash inside the envelope.

She looked up in thought, thinking of what her friends would spend their cash on.

"Well that dummy is definitely the type to spend al of her money on food." She thought for Hibiki, before switching to Tsubasa. "And on the other hand, she leaves the image of buying and endless supply of bikes to jump off of."

She then switched thoughts to Rui and Maia.

"And the other idiot... probably on some stuff from that TV show she really likes. And Maia... brr... I don't want to think about it."

"I'm not a sexual deviant!" The imagined version of Maia yelled. "Cut it out, pervert!"

"Shut up! I'm not a pervert, dumbass!" Chris yelled, punching the imaginative Maia into smoke.

"Oneesama?" Shuri asked, coming into view. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, Shuri." Chris said. "Well, I was just deciding on what to do with the money I got."

"Ah, I see." Shuri said. "Then I'll leave you to it."

"Say, Shuri?" Chris asked. "What did you get with your money?"

"I still have it." Shuri said. "I think it would be silly to spend it all in one place so soon. I put most of it into the bank."

"Smart." Chris said. "Papa and Mama would be proud of you for being money smart... Papa and Mama... I got it!"

"Got what?" Shuri asked.

"Don't you worry about it!" Chris said, slipping on her shoes. "I'll be back in time for dinner!"

"Oneesama! You know that Rui-san and Maia-san are coming over-!"

The door slammed before Shuri could finish speaking. She sighed and pouted.

"Honestly, oneesama..."

"So she ran out to get something?" Maia asked, laying down on the couch.

"Yeah." Shuri said, looking at the clock. "It's been hours though."

"Eh, she's probably fine." Maia said. "Chris is a toughie."

"Mmm." Rui said from the kitchen.

"I still don't understand why you and Rui-san are coming here so often though." Shuri said. "We've settled in now."

"It's cause it's fun hanging out with you." Maia said, flipping right-side up. "And don't tell me that you don't like Rui's cooking."

"Well, that's true as well." Shuri said.

"We're friends, y'know?" Maia said, putting an arm around Shuri. "I'm glad to have met you, Shuri."

Shuri blushed a bit at how close Maia was, but smiled and nodded.

"I'm home!" Chris said, as the door opened.

Maia took her arm off of Shuri as she looked up.

"Welcome back, oneesama-"

Shuri stared as Genjuro followed in after her, carrying a large altar.

"Uncle?" Maia asked.

"Oh, just put it down over there." Chris said.

Genjuro put the large shrine down against the wall. Rui peeked out of the kitchen.

"...nope, not gonna question it." She said, going back in.

"Sorry about all this, making you carry all the heavy luggage." Chris said to an exhausted Genjuro. "But thanks to you, we're all settled."

"To be frank, I didn't think I'd have to act as your delivery boy." Genjuro admitted.

"Oneesama?" Shuri asked. "Why did you buy this shrine?"

"Well, we're the only two that come home here, right?" Chris said. "I don't want to feel like we left out Papa and Mama."

"Oneesama..." Shuri pulled Chris into a hug at how thoughtful her sister was.

"W-Whoa! Shuri!" Chris choked out, tapping Shuri's arm. "Too tight! Can't breath!"

"A-ah! Sorry!" She said, stepping back.

"I see your training has paid off." Genjuro said with an approving nod.

"Just what kind of monster are you training, old man?" Maia asked, deadpan look on her face.

"Oh, that reminds me." Chris said, turning to Maia. "Why are you here?"

"I tried to tell you that Maia-san and Rui-san were coming over." Shuri sighed. "And Hibiki-san, Miku-san and Tsubasa-san are almost here too."

"What for?" Chris sniffed the air. "And what's that smell?"

"It's done!" Rui said, walking in with thick oven mitts on her hands as she placed a hot pot onto the table.

"What's this?" Chris asked.

Rui pulled off the lid, letting the wonderful aroma fill the room. The others looked inside to see a mixed array of vegetables, meat and noodles sitting in a bubbling hot broth.

"It's not much." Rui said, turning on the heat underneath. "It's liver and red bean, but I added a few touches here and there of my own. I always did this for my family."

"Whoa..." Chris said.

"You don't like it?" Rui assumed. "If that's the case, I can just-"

"N-No! Nothing like that!" Chris reassured. "I'm just saying that it looks really good!"

"It does look wonderful, Rui-san." Shuri said.

"Thanks." Rui said, a small smile on her face.

"Ah, the others are here!" Shuri said, hearing knocking on the door as she went up to it.

The door opened and in walked the others.

"I know that smell!" Hibiki said cheerfully. "That's oneesan's famous hot pot!"

"It has been a while." Miku admitted.

"What an incredible aroma." Tsubasa noted.

"You gonna join us, old man?" Maia asked. "Though I don't think the others will let you say no."

Genjuro chuckled. "Well, I suppose I can spare some time for dinner."

"We should invite more people next time!" Hibiki said. "Ogawa-san, Tomosato-san, Fujitaka-san, Yumi, Kuriyo, Shiori-"

"Are you trying to run me ragged?" Rui asked.

Everyone just laughed. Dinner was a lot livelier that night.

The next morning, Chris hit the golden cup on the altar a couple of times as she and Shuri knelt down in front of it.

"Good morning." Chris said. "Sorry for being so noisy first thing in the morning. But being noisy is fitting for a family of musicians, don't you think?"

She and Shuri put their hands in a praying position, silent together. They opened their eyes after a few moments.

"Well, we're off to school!" Chris said.

"Should we tell them about what it's like to live here now?" Shuri asked.

"Ah, good point." Chris said, turning back to the altar. "To be honest... I'm not used to it yet, and it's a noisy place. But since I'm your daughter, I guess I don't dislike it when it's noisy. What about you, Shuri?"

Shuri just smiled. "I think it's a blessing that we found a new home and new friends. I really like it here."

"Mm." Chris stood up. "C'mon, let's go."

The two left their apartment. The golden cup seemed to shine brighter as the sun shone through the window.
