Robb Stark was the only member of the Northern Kingdom delegation to continue exploring Dragonstone while the King, Queen, Princess, and Councilors debated what could be the future or doom of the entire known world.

He was not approached by savages from across the sea or by the imposing warriors of the Mother of Dragons, however, he was followed by another figure as mysterious or even more so than the other inhabitants of that island. The Woman in Red was lurking with yet another vision.

_ Young Wolf, I hoped to meet you once more before leaving Westeros. – says the follower of the Red God, taking the former king out of his thoughts.

_ My lady, I had no idea you would be here... You disappeared from the North after the retaking of Winterfell.

_ I came to fulfill my role, just as you are fulfilling yours. And do not despair, I will not reveal your secret here... - Robb nods in gratitude - This will happen under the Lord of Light's conditions.

_ Your words continue to confuse me, my lady. I do not know whether to be grateful to you or fear your visions.

_ My time of whispering in the ears of kings is over, child.

_ You know that I am no longer king of anything.

_ A king is not limited to whether or not he has a crown on his head. And Ned Stark's son did not return to skulk in the shadows. Understand, child, you did not return to right your wrongs. You are much greater than me, you, and even Hippolyta's Daughter. You still do not understand how far you will go, she does not know where she came from... Your destinies should cross, but they must separate at some point. And the Young Wolf will understand when his time comes.

_ I am not so sure of that, my lady. I didn't have the talent to understand everything when I was king, and I suspect I haven't improved on this second journey.

_ Confusion is to be expected when one is involved in the plans of gods and goddesses, my child. I've told you this once, but I can see that you still haven't assimilated my words. Don't waste your time lamenting those who are where they should be. I know that pain is an inseparable companion of men, but the Gods are not playing with your life, they are speaking through you and the princess of the Amazons. We all make mistakes, some more or less terrible, but we all make them while we walk in the world of men.

_ If I'm not a joke, am I just a pawn in the gods' game?

_ The Gods themselves fear the Long Night and can no longer descend to the mortal world, so they use stratagems to prevent darkness from consuming everything. These same gods conspired so that you, a mere mortal, would bring the first heroine to walk among us in thousands of years. So, don't close your eyes to past pains, but learn to listen, child, before it's too late to leave this world with a smile instead of tears like before.

_ My time was never just mine on this second journey, was it? – she nods positively – I also understand that this return may be much shorter than I would like to conclude. But, it is still a new opportunity, even if fleeting.

_ Our journey through the world of men will always be limited to a breath of wind, Young Wolf. You, yours and those who walk this island are just passing through, we will all need to face the brevity of our existence. But in times like these, even beings beyond our comprehension, such as the Amazons and the gods, fear for their existence. In the end, you may feel like a pawn in the game of the New and Old Gods, but we are the ones who have the real conditions to dictate the present and the future here and now. They can only whisper in our ears and hope that we understand everything in time. We say goodbye for now, child. Now, go... The first meeting between Ice and Fire is over and it did not go the way your brother would have liked. But tell the White Wolf that this was only the first time he had met the Mother of Dragons.

Robb Stark would take some time to process all the words he heard from Melissandre on the highest point of Dragonstone that first day, but he quickly understands that the regret and pain for everything he had done on his first journey upon the world would never leave him. And perhaps that was how it should be while he could walk among his own. And he should ensure that his own would continue to walk this world when he was no longer there.
