The older Loud siblings had stood at the edges of Royal Woods where the residential property lines reached their very ends looking upon their new home with pride and an optimistic joy. For many years they had lived in various apartments within the heart of Great Lakes City then houses within its suburbs. Houses they had expected to keep that they now had under their names, and such was even the case when they had started migrating back closer together to their new houses within Royal Woods.

Yet it was this new house of theirs that they looked upon like it was truly their home. Though as a property it was under Lori's name, it was a home for the entirety of the Loud Clan.
Its corner supports were made out of a solid structure to support the large floor plans for the wide two floors and attic further supported and covered by bricks. A matter that was especially important as there was almost at least one window for each of the twenty-one above ground bedrooms with seven bathrooms on those upper levels as well, courtesy of Lana's thorough planning and the sibling's terrible memories of having to share one bathroom ensuring they wouldn't make it worse in a much larger household. Within the basement there had also been space built for an additional five bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The exterior of the house was painted a pristine white complimented by bright blue roofing with a flattened roof modeled there to make plenty of room for Lisa's solar panel array. The door, rather by contrast was a rather dark gray and surrounding the residence was an iron fence. A long term precaution, but also to better fit in with the homes in the rather wealthy residential area the older Loud siblings had found an available lot on.
A large garage could be seen with its entrance going up a driveway from a separate entrance leading up to the one to the front door. Similarly modeled after the main house with a coat of white paint on its exterior with a blue roof clearly built expecting to hold many vehicles within.

After the older siblings had picked out and decorated their rooms on the first floor, save for Lisa and Lily who had decided to share a room in the basement, all that was left now was to bring their children together for them to see and fill the home as well on the second floor and a few in the basement.

Each of the children had been driven to their new home by their mother save for Reina and Luis who were sitting in the back of their father's silvery-blue colored car, or Minizilla as it tended to be referred to for its vague resemblance to Vanzilla which was only used to try to transport the family much more easily on mass. All of the Loud Children had simply been told by their parents that they had a surprise in store for them, and that it would involve a drive at the very least suggested it would be to a location they'd enjoy.

Now that all of them saw the house their aunts and father were parked in front of them their assumptions were proven to be true when they were told by their parents that they had arrived at their new home. For Loan, Lyra, Lina, Lemy, Reina and Luis it was truly their home that they'd get to be at every other week among the rest of their siblings. Each of them told to pick a room from the second floor or the basement.

The children had tried to rush through the front door only to pile on each other in a disorganized mess which their parents looked on with the realization that their children would be just as notable in their disarray as they had been while living together.

Once they had finally been able to make it past the front door they looked around to see a foyer with a stairway that rose straight and then made a turn to the right when leading up to the next level. The home had within a warm atmosphere as the deep red wood and light gray color of the walls combined with the mounted lamps was not so plain nor garish. To their left on the first floor was a large space for their living room. Set immediately next to the right side of the window from which they could see their front yard was an entertainment system. The television large enough for the younger Louds and the older Loud siblings to be able to watch together not to mention play together with the many game consoles and video games proper stored within the cabinets set under the screen. All around it were dark leather couches arranged to try to seat the Loud family altogether with the material meant to account for the mess the children were quite likely to make with all sorts of snacks among other things.

To the right of the foyer just past an arched entryway was a dining room, a large table already set that could be well thought of as a royal dining table with its length and the number of chairs around it clearly meant to let the whole family dine together. A decision that the older Loud siblings had decided on by a vote after split discussion on whether they should have a separate table from their children. Just past the dining room further down past its own split archway was a fully stocked and equipped kitchen thanks to Lincoln and Luan's efforts.
Though it was possible to access the backyard by simply walking around the side of the home or just around the garage the older Loud siblings had taken inspiration from their childhood home and built a door at the side of the kitchen to directly lead outside as well.

Past the foyer beneath the stairs that led up to the second floor was a series of rooms all of which had been taken up by the older Louds siblings. To the immediate right aligning with the closest room to the living room was a closet meant for convenience of coats and other easy to grab clothes for going out.

To reach the basement one had to walk to the far side of the kitchen then turn to the left where they'd find a small hall upon which behind a door was a stairwell which matched the railed and covered one that connected the first and second floor to make the basement feel more like it was all part of the home proper.
Loan was the first to go down there. Though she loved her many siblings she knew that all of them together in one home would be loud and would be butting heads often while living under the same roof. Down where there were fewer rooms she hoped to get a little more quiet time.

After walking down the stairs she leaned over to the left to find three rooms already separated with some space between them. Taking a look at them she found the two closest to the stairs empty but the one at the very end occupied by two beds and a collection of science and video game based collectibles that made it clear that it was a bedroom her Aunt Lisa and Aunt Lily were sharing. Across from those three bedrooms in parallel to them were two bathrooms from the right to left side of the wall creating another half to a large hall separated only by the sight of the stairs leading up the kitchen. The third room she saw was a small clinic which Loan guessed was for her Aunt Lisa to do routine checkups and deal less with the whole matter of outside medical workers.

Just a few steps past those rooms Loan was able to see why her Aunt Lisa and Aunt Lily had settled on their bedroom in the basement. Even though much of the open space had been left open for the storage purposes a basement was left to serve as well as a small laundry room in the southwest corner with a few hampers, folding table, shelf for detergents and a few washer and dryer hybrid machines there was a wall separating the two bathrooms set next to the home clinic. That wall was lined with lead and other protective materials to try to minimize the impact of a smaller, sort of compact laboratory her Aunt Lisa had set up.

Only after crossing that long space did she find on the other side of the laboratory two bedrooms and a bathroom between them making her realize that since she along with her siblings had been told to choose one bedroom each for themselves she could have someone down in the basement close to her. The only problem with her realization being that she wasn't sure who would be willing to pick the other room down in the basement. Of her top three candidates she wasn't sure who to ask.

She could always count on Liena, and Loan thought that maybe her younger sister would enjoy having an easy way up to the kitchen to help their Aunt Luan and on many occasions too their Dad. Not to mention having the means to focus on her own personal practice. It would certainly be nice to have her sister who even when they had just thought they were cousins had spent years learning sign language for her sake. It made her such a close confidant to have a way to talk to her and her alone. Yet, she worried that Liena would rather take a room closer to their little brother, Lyle. Though the Loud children were happy to know they were each other's siblings, after adjusting with the time when it caused a few separations in the family, there was more of a closeness among the siblings who had grown up considering each other their siblings. Something they had come to understand as a natural consequence of being born to the same mother. It was a similar train of thought that came to her when she considered if Luis would take up the room next to her. Though they had become closer, a little more affectionate to the point that their parents considered it necessary to check in on them, likely due to what happened in their own childhood that led them all to the point they were at, Loan knew he was much closer to his twin sister, Reina.

All of that brought Loan's thoughts back to her older sister. Laura had more slowly accepted the situation of her extended family, despite the misgivings she still had about her mother. Yet enough time had passed that she was excited for the prospect of living with her cousins every other week. No matter where Loan went, Laura would be there with her. Despite that, even though her older sister had never stopped backing up, nor ever stopped being willing to come around to offer emotional support, Loan still felt self conscious around her older sister at times. Loan couldn't help but wonder if Laura felt like the one on the outskirts from her cousins and sister who shared the same father. However much that made Laura's opinion about her Tío complicated. Loan couldn't help but wonder if even a single part of Laura found her little sister and many cousins off putting. A persistent intrusive thought nagging at her despite Laura never showing that it was the case.

After steeling herself, knowing she just had to bite the bullet, Loan set down the box where she had placed her laptop and small pile of clothes down on the ground of the basement bedroom closest to the northwest corner. The small assortment of belongings her Mother had told her to bring with her. She now realized that it was a means of staking her claim on the bedroom she wanted once she'd decided on it. From there she was ready to climb up the basement stairs, walk back to the foyer and climb up the stairs to the second floor.

On the second floor the Loud children were moving around looking at the many rooms available to them deciding which one to take and how to arrange themselves.

As soon as someone reached the top of the stairs on the second floor they could see by looking up a rope and handle for pulling down a set of stairs that led up to the attic. To the left and right they would be able to see two of the bathrooms on the second floor. Past those bathrooms on the west side of the house were two bedrooms totaling up to four and to their other side toward the east side of the house was where three bedrooms each totaling six bedrooms and ten when those were put together. However, in front of the area on the top of the stairwell past the space of that occupied by where the attic ladder would be if pulled down was a large space which divided the rooms on the north and south of the second floor into their own halls between them with a similar one mirroring it behind the stairwell and what would be considered the east of the second floor.

To the west were two bedrooms that were set closest to the stairs with a bathroom at the end of them while to the east were three bedrooms composing the center column.

Liena stepped out of the room in the northwest most corner of the second floor looking over to the room right next to her where Lyra had come out of, smiling at Liena as they seemed happy with the arrangement.

"Loan? There you are, I thought you hid yourself away already," Liena said, teasing her big sister once she spotted her coming up the stairwell.

"Well, I was actually coming up to see everyone," Loan said.

"Came up? You were thinking about picking one of the rooms in the basement weren't you?" Liena said.

"Mhm Hmh," Loan admitted with a nod.

"Stay up here with us. There's even still a room at the other end over here," Lyra said, leading her big sister over to an empty room in the southeastern most corner next to where Lyle had picked out his room to be.

"It's just a few steps away from Luis too," Lyra said pointing out the room closest to the stairwell on the east middle column.

"Has someone already picked out the room next to him?" Loan said.

"Yes, Reina actually picked out the room with him after he was convinced to choose a room close to the rest of the boys," Lyra said.

"Lemy is the next one over to Lyle," Lyra added.

"Where did Lieo choose his room to be?" Loan said.

"He actually decided to go downstairs. He said he wanted to be close to his mom's lab," Liena said.

"Oh," Loan said, pressing her fingertips together. Comfortable knowing that she'd have one of her younger brothers downstairs with her.

"I'm glad I found you up here, did you still want to pick the room you left your things in downstairs in the basement?" Laura said, drawing Loan's attention to ask her the question she had on her mind.

"Yeah. I. I just came up to see everyone," Loan said.

"There's really no reason you can't change your mind. You can still have a room up here," Lyra said.

"Really? Is there room for two more?" Laura said.
"No, there's only one more but I can take one of the two rooms left in the basement with Loan and leave two up here," Liena said.

"Actually I've already picked the room closest to Loan. There's one left between where Lieo picked his room and the one where Aunt Lisa and Aunt Lily are staying together," Laura said.

"Well I think it would be good for Loan to stay up here with her brothers and sisters," Lyra said, giving Laura a critical look.

"She can be with a brother and sister of hers down in the room she's already picked," Laura said, glaring back.

"Um. Loan! Um, you picked the room you did because you're comfortable, right? That's good, we can come downstairs to spend time hanging out together," Liena said.

"Yeah, I'd love being room neighbors with you, sis," Loan said, walking over and wrapping an arm around her big sister's shoulders.

Looking over at Loan allowed Laura to let go of the ongoing trouble she had with her ongoing tiff with Lyra and instead focus on keeping up the happiness of her little sister.

"Yeah, I'm really glad we're gonna be room neighbors from now on," Laura said, wrapping an arm around Loan's shoulder before going downstairs to keep herself from snowballing into the same argument she always seemed to have with Lyra.

"I can't believe she's just taking our sister away from us," Lyra said.

"Loan is her sister too, and Laura is our cousin anyway. Besides, your argument was a long time ago. She's had no problem hanging out in the same room as us for awhile now," Liena said.

"I'm still not convinced she doesn't just hide it just because Loan wants to hang out with us," Lyra muttered as she went back to her room.

Lupa had originally wanted to situate herself in a room next to Liby or even Lacy. One of her older sisters she considered among her best friends. Instead, with Liby picking the room to the east of the bathroom on the north column then Lacy taking up the one next to Liby's. Finally of course Lupa figured that Lacy just had to be a good older sister and let Lynn III take up the room next to her, completing that column.

Which with Lina taking up the last room in the east middle column next to Reina was how Lupa ended up settling on the room in the southwestern most corner of the second floor with her little sister Lila picking the room next to her. It was like they had never left their old home at all. Though it wasn't all too bad. At least Lupa had a bathroom right across from her.

Looking around her room, Lupa settled on a random spot in her room away from the windows to sketch a demonic cat girl. She had by then assumed that her parents and aunts wanted a bit of ceremony to their arrival but that they'd have another trip moving their furniture soon enough.

Once she was hungry enough she stepped outside her room planning to be on her way to the kitchen for a snack when she saw Leia step out of her room too.

"Hi room neighbor. I can't wait for us to have fun," Leia said with a sickly sweet tone and smile.

Lupa audibly groaned with annoyance which Leia simply responded to by giggling with a grin that made it clear she had mischievous intentions for later. By then, Lupa wanted to hold back on going downstairs lest she have to deal more with the mischief of her tricky little sister only for her to have an idea when Lila walked out of her room.

"Hey! Sis! Come here," Lupa said, grabbing Lila by her arm and bringing her into her room.

"Hm?" Lila hummed with curiosity, wondering why it was that her older sister wanted to pull her in for a talk but also simply accepting that it was just happening now.

"You've got a new little fungal colony going?" Lupa said.

"Well I have several actually, ones that can support accelerated growth through more rapid decay-" Lila got as far as explaining one of her new fungi species types by the time Lupa caught her off.

"Yeah yeah, but what about the kind of small ones that just grow a lot in one place if you step somewhere. Better yet, the ones where you step towards but not away?" Lupa said.

"Those are still back in the other house," Lila said.

"Get ready to get them on our next trip back. You know how annoying Leia can be, at least she learned her lesson by getting some of your shrooms stuck in her hair," Lupa said.

"I should work on those, Lizy is in the room right over. I don't want her getting them on her just because Leia is being a pest," Lila said.

"Good call," Lupa said, agreeing that their more positive spirited little sister deserved to be left alone in their little sister war.

By the time all the children had settled in and picked a room there had been two empty ones left as an intentional plan by the older Louds. The room in the basement that set space between the room that Lisa and Lily shared and Lieo's room would be a shared nursery for Lulu and Louise in the future with the two women reasoning that if they wanted separate rooms then Laura's would be available as she was close to moving out which would leave the room open to one of them by then. The empty room on the second floor Leni convinced her siblings would be the room designated for the child she would be adopting.

As for everything else that had to be done for their home that day, or rather that week as it turned out was quite necessary for moving all the furniture and belongings of their children into their home. It was a contrast to the older Loud siblings who already had their room arrangements on the first floor. With the exception of Lisa and Lily who had settled on a room in the basement for Lisa's proximity to her basement laboratory.

On that first floor the rooms were built larger than those arranged on the second floor for the majority of their children due to the rooms being meant to double for many of the older Louds or hold more of them within. Creating less space and only a hallway between them.

In the southwest most corner of the row built against the living room wall was Lincoln's bedroom designated the master bedroom with the expectation that he'd be sharing the bedroom each night with one or more of his sisters. It was also the only bedroom built with an attached bathroom. A remark that their parents had been onto something when they were younger.

Immediately next to that bedroom was the room occupied by Luna and Luan. A bathroom placed right next to it and the very end of that row was the bedroom that Lori and Leni were planning on sharing together.

Across the hall from the master bedroom was Lynn Jr. and Lucy's room. A bathroom separated them from Lola and Lana's room. Those were all the bedrooms occupied by the consistent residents of the home. For in the room immediately over those of the twins was a recording studio with settings intended to be set by the one occupying the recording area as it was intended for Luna to record her music and Luan to record her comedy bits. It also offered a layer of sound insulation needed by everyone else and a bit of muffling as the room at the end of that hall being a guest bedroom was intended for if friends ever made a casual stay. For the convenience of such guests a bathroom was placed rounding that corner nestled behind the stairs against the closet that could be found just past the foyer.

Though the recording studio was a dedicated space for Luna and Luan's work by necessity, many of the other older Louds had a small means of focusing on their work and passions in their bedrooms. For many of them all they needed was a computer at a desk of theirs but for those that were more involved there were other means such as Leni and her sewing machine or Lynn Jr. and her exercise equipment that were placed in their bedroom in such a way to still be considerate to the space of their roommates.

For all the space taken up by the main floor plan and garage of the house proper the backyard took up the same amount of ground space easily doubling the area that the new Loud House, The Loud Grounds occupied. Having a pool and additional area to the backyard intended for at the very least the outdoor focused members of the younger Louds. Off on its edges being two different sheds. One for assorted yard tools and the other being kept for pool items, outdoor toys and the like.

It was truly a home meant for them, and though the older Louds, besides Lisa herself, attempted to set an example by not relying on the robot assistance provided by the pioneering genius, such was the required case when it came to the matter of packing up and moving what they wanted to take from one home to another especially to make sure the children had everything of theirs from their rooms. They were after all the last pieces assuring the comfort of everyone in the household.

For the Louds were happy to have somewhere where the closest members of their family could all be together after everything that had happened. Not to mention everything that would happen under their new roof.
