Like I said the last chapter of the outdated version before, these are the newly updated character bios, deck profiles will come at the end of each chapter while individual cards and their effects will be here. Same with the ruleset for the new mechanic that will be featured later on.
For now, this chapter will focus on the bios of each character that has been completed so far. I'm sure that there will be some notable favorites, but just wait for their decks to be shown.
Now, onto the profiles.
Character Bios:
Protagonists
Kirito Senjou - The main protagonist. A young teenager with the ability to see Vanguard units similarly to spirits. Having moved from town to town so often made him resent his parents and wants nothing more than to settle in one place and live peacefully. His plans for peace and quiet get trampled when he encounters a mechanical dragon being chased. Getting himself involved set him in the sights of Parallel and thus became involved in the invasion of Link Joker and, upon forming an alliance with the units of Gear Chronicle, he aims to put a stop to it. His custom Fica color upon acquisition is sapphire blue, Grade 0 (white).

Design: His hair is shaped like the head of "Timepiece Dracokid" with the same shades of blue, black and purple as the unit; the golden piece on the unit's face is the bangs on Kirito's forehead (which are also golden). When not in his Miyaji Academy uniform, he wears a black sleeveless zipped-up vest with white lining over a yellow t-shirt; the Cardfight Vanguard logo is present on the back of the vest in the same blue color. Light blue long jeans with his Fica holder on the back and wears black sneakers. On his left arm is a black sweatband with the Gear Chronicle emblem, and on his right are two purple rubber wristbands.
Personality: Brash, Straight-Forward, Assertive, Sometimes Short-Tempered

Steamvisor, Clockwork Dracokid (Character) - Serves as the main companion to Kirito out of all the units in his deck, though calls him "Kiri" for short as Kirito calls him "Clockwork". He's always there to provide support, advice, and assistance when Kirito needs it, and tries his best to keep him out of trouble, too. When starting out in the Steamvisors, he was the newest member of their group during Parallel & Paralleros' invasion, and is the one to entrust Kirito with the Gear Chronicle deck when arriving in his time.

Design: His scale color is Light Orange, as are all of the Steamvisors. Atop his head is a basic rusted gold helm with the Steamvisor crest on the front, it also appearing on the left breast of the armor; the armor in color being the same as the helm. Being short in size, he wears no leggings, but pieces of knee and elbow armor make up more than nothing at least.
Personality: Caring, Careful, Cautious, Excitable, Supportive

Osono Asakura - The elder of the Asakura Twins. As a young girl, she and her sister were hired by her parents into a Vanguard Idol and Cheerleading career. Over the years, she grew to love her job and love the game of Vanguard. However, her world gets turned upside-down when Link Joker interrupts and nearly destroys the stadium she is performing in. Without inquiring about him, she joins Kirito on his quest to drive away the Link Joker army. Her custom Fica color upon introduction is violet, Grade 3 (Green).

Design: Her red hair resembles "Cheer Girl, Tiara's", only the ponytails reach down to her bottom. The only difference is the one long bang over her right eye. Her attire, outside of her Miyaji Academy uniform and work uniform, consists of a plain orange shirt and a white knee-long dress skirt. On her right wrist is a pearl bracelet. Her choice of footwear are sand-brown sandals with ankle-long socks. Her Idol and cheerleading uniform is a purple sleeveless top, revealing half of her stomach, and a short purple skirt. While she performs, she uses black and purple pom-poms to match the Dark Zone theme she represents.

Deck: Spike Brothers
Otome Asakura - The younger of the Asakura Twins. Being her sister's twin makes it easy for her to fill in when Osono is unable to perform or cardfight; people who are not familiar with them usually mistake one for the other. Unlike Osono, she dropped cheerleading at a young age and keeps to the backstage as her sister performs. This does not mean she is lacking in Vanguard, though; some say she is BETTER than her elder sister. After Link Joker's attack on the stadium, she's hesitant to join Kirito, but does so for Osono's sake. Her custom Fica color upon introduction is indigo, also Grade 3 (Green).

Height: cm: 155 (ft: 5'1)
Design: Her hair resembles her sister's, but the bang on her head is slightly shorter and on the left side. Her clothes consist of a green t-shirt with a red rose logo on the front; her left wrist adorns the same bracelet as her sister. Blue short jeans and ankle-long socks under her sand-brown sandals.
Personality: Quiet, Direct, Shameless, Seems to Lack Emotions half the time
Likes: Singing, Vanguard, Her Sister, Small Groups of People
Dislikes: Large Groups of People, Her Sister being Saddened or Afraid, Kirito (at first), Parallel
Deck: Fable Tail (The new Zoo Nation Clan)
Shinichi Kagamine - A classy, charming, ladies man. He works alongside his father as a circus entertainer, serving as the primary performer. He's as good an entertainer as he is a cardfighter and very few compare in his profession. His initial meeting and cardfight against Kirito solidified their relationship as rivals and he tends to lend him a hand in dire times. When Link Joker's attack sends his father to the hospital for special treatment, he becomes enraged and seeks vengeance on Parallel. His custom Fica color upon introduction is ruby red, High Level (choice of color: Purple).

Height: cm: 180 (ft: 5'10)
Design: His blonde hair is a typical messy-cut style, but wears a purple top hat when he performs. His normal attire is a plain black long-sleeve work shirt with a white tie; white work pants with purple work shoes. His performing uniform keeps most of what he wears, save for the white pants change to purple and wearing a purple tuxedo, each sharing the same color as the top hat.

Deck: Pale Moon
Omori Yuki - A young boy sporting lots of energy and spirit, he provides some much needed support and laughter to the group, even at his own expense. After the attack from the Link Joker Army, he tries to brighten the people around him when their happiness diminishes, including his own. His custom Fica color upon introduction is orange, Grade 2 (Brown).

Design: For the most part just wears his Miyaji Academy uniform, sometimes with the jacket, most of the time without. He has indigo purple hair reaching down to his shoulders in length with one long strand of golden hair poking out from the top of his head, leaning forward like an antenna. His eye color is gold yellow. Skin tone is light brown, like he's been tanning.
Personality: Energetic, High Spirited, Supportive, Not Too Bright

Antagonist(s)
Parallel - A mysterious humanoid entity whose origins are unknown. None can decipher if their voice is male or female through their mask and voice modulation, but all know that they are to be feared. Seen as the leader of the "Possession-Vader Army" along with "Paralleros" by cardfighters, and a terrorist by others, Kirito & his group ventures forth to end their tyranny.

Design: Not much is known outside of the silver skin-tight latex suit and the metal mask; the mask itself resembling "Companion Star Star-Vader, Photon's" head, but with sky blue hair. There is no visible skin to be seen on them.

Tobi Takahashi - The right-hand assistant of Parallel's. Sworn to Parallel, he obediently follows every order given out, even if he does not like them (most of the time). To his detriment, he tends to not keep his mouth shut when it comes to important information. Being as short as he is, it is uncertain if he is a child or a grown-up in a small body. His Fica color is plain white, High Level (choice of color: Turquoise).

Design: His hair is a bowl haircut with the only difference being that a small yellow strand of hair protrudes from the top of his head. Given his position, his attire is that of a general; a dark green military suit with the Link Joker emblem on the left breast and black dress shoes.
Personality: Easily Excitable, Malicious, Childish
Likes: Following "Master Parallel", Pleasing Master Parallel, Playing Mind Games
Dislikes: Master Parallel's Orders, Gear Chronicle, Kirito, Being pointed out as the smallest in a group.
Deck: Megacolony
Kagura Aoi - Seen as an assistant of Parallel's, but deems herself a leading director. Kagura is "the brains" of the trio, coming up with most of the plans and organizing the resources needed to carry them out. She does not cardfight but is very knowledgeable in the game and observes the strengths and weaknesses of her comrades and enemies' cardfighting abilities. Her Fica color is plain white, High Level (choice of color: Black).

Height: cm: 190 (ft: 6'2)
Design: She has dark purple hair, long in length, but the back is tied up into a bun; the tied up hair is light blue, making it seem like she's wearing a plastic cap. Under the white lab coat is a pink wool top and light blue pants; in length reaches slightly below the knees. Her shoes are white high-heels.
Personality: Strict, Direct, Stern, Sinister
Likes: Success, Attention, Tormenting Others, Her beauty
Dislikes: Failure, Goofing-off, Annoyances, Kirito, Osono and Otome
Deck: None, besides one she is given or requests to use
Side Characters
Tsukumi Kaga - A quiet and reserved student sharing the same class as Kirito and Osono, seated directly behind the former. Though not talkative outside of simple gestures, she is portrayed with a beaming personality in her alternate persona. Who that is remains a mystery. Loves manga and anime probably more than anyone else in her class and will unknowingly trail herself into diatribes on what she is currently viewing/reading. And though Kirito doesn't know it, Tsukumi has a crush on him, but not as much as for Shinichi, which thus creates an internal conflict on who to support when they cardfight. Her custom Fica color upon introduction is pink, Grade 3 (Green).

Height: cm: 170 (ft: 5'6)
Design: Though not much is known of her in private, she is usually adorned with a Sakura flower-shaped hairclip holding the right side of her silver bangs that make up her short silver hair; frost-blue highlights take up the lower half of the back of her hair and her eyebrows. She has dark green eyes, but most can't tell if it is like that naturally or is the shade making it seem darker. When not in her school uniform or some kind of cosplay, she dresses herself in a white T-shirt with Sakura flower patterns on the lower left and one big flower on the chest area. Sand colored long dress skirt and black slippers.
Personality: Shy, Nerdy, Reserved

Deck: Dimension Police
Hanzo Megumi - Owner of Cardshop Hanzo. Big in size, big at heart. He is a friendly, no-nonsense, card-loving man with little to no restraint in his passions, whether it be in card-related activities or in bringing people together. Known within his shop as one of the best cardfighters around and currently holds the record of being undefeated in his card shop (Not counting losing to his kid in secret). When the Link Joker Army attacks, he doesn't lose his passion, but instead is more than willing to help our heroes when the goings get tough, and is a beacon of light for them for that reason.

Height: cm: 199 (ft: 6'6)
Design: His cocoa-brown hair is short and bushy like a spiked ball, his eye-brows matching it. His eyes are a light orange, though darker than his tan, muscular-riddled skin. Adorned with a blank white t-shirt under his red apron with his card shop logo on it (a staple for any card shop owner), orange trousers and black shoes. He also wears one white wristwatch.
Personality: Upbeat, Passionate, Short-Sighted (Metaphorically)
Likes: His card shop, Hobbies (especially card games), Hugs, Hamburgers
Dislikes: Fighting between friends, Overworking, Being scolded by his family (even his kids)

Always note these will be updated for new characters that get introduced. These are just the more prominent and mostly fleshed out for the time being. Given that we know this takes place in G (only in V-Series), expect characters like Chrono, Shion, Tokoha, Luna, Am, Kouji, and more to show up.
