Bittersweet Vengeance-Ch 26
The family was sitting on the beach watching as the sun started to set, Dave said, "well kitten I'd say that soon Sam and Savannah will both be here", she wrapped her arms around herself, hugging herself, Derek scooted closer and said, "it's going to be okay sweetness, there isn't anything he can do now".
Penelope said, "I don't trust them handsome, I don't trust Sam and I don't trust Savannah, not after what they did to me, to you, to us, they cheated us out of so much", Fran stood up and said, "I have a wonderful idea", they all looked at her and Peneelope said, "what's your idea Fran?", Fran said, "you're afraid that he'll swoop in and try to take you away because he's your quote unquote fiancee, right?", she said, "yeah".
She smiled and said, "well then, how about we do this" and the family sat there smiling and listening as Fran filled them in on her idea, when she was finished Penelope said, "do we have time for that though?", Dave said, "let me make a call and this plan will happen", Derek grinned and said, "well then Dave, make that call".
Fran looked around at her family and clapped her hands together and said, "alright, let's get this party started then shall weeeeeeee?", everybody laughed, stood up and headed inside so that they could put Frans plan into action/
Meanwhile Sam and Savannah were sitting on the plane as it started making its way down the runway at the airport in Virginia, once they were airborne Sam looked at Savannah and said, "I hope they've enjoyed their time together because once we get there and I use the phrase she'll be putty in my hands".
Savannah smiled and said, "they're not gonna see this coming", Sam laughed and said, "no they won't and I can't wait to see the look on their faces when we show up and walk away with her", Savannah said, "I'll let you go to them, I'll be waiting for you to come and bring her with you".
Sam said, "you're not going to go with ms?", she said, "if I show up with you they'll know that something is up for sure", Sam nodded his head and said, "true, trueeeee", they sighed happily and then relaxed back in their seat, they were a few hours away making all of their dreams come true.
Only hours away from claiming the people they loved and wanted more than anything in life, they had gone through a lot to get Derek and Penelope, too much to lose them now so hopefully in a few short hours Penelope would be back in Sams arms where she belonged and then Savannah could swoop in and help heal Derek's broken heart.
Savannah grinned and said, "soon Derek, soon you'll be back in my bed where you", she blew out a deep breath as she relaxed even more in her seat, she couldn't wait to get to Hawaii and see Sam coming back to her hotel room with Penelope in tow, that would bring her that much closer to Derek and her happily ever after.
