Chapter 20 war in the capital, the hero of Agnus, Mantis hidden in the shadows
In the headquarters of Agnus the leader of there military Cammuravi is informed that another of his comrades has been taken down and possibly killed in action this hurt him greatly.
Cammuravi: … another of our people gone…
Agnus soldier: … sir… the enemy will be upon us real soon… the entire kingdom will become a battlefield of death and destruction…
Cammuravi: …
Agnus soldier: what are we going to do…
Cammuravi: everyone… get as many civilians out of the kingdom before the battle hits here?
Agnus soldier: … we can evacuate as many as we can sir…
Cammuravi: then this… will be our last stand… if we're going to die, then we will take these monsters with us… ready everyone for our last stand!
Agnus soldier: sir!
Hidden in the shadows of there base Mantis is seen using his psychic abilities to spy on all of the soldiers and gaining info from them.
Mantis: looks like they are about to make there last stand, either way they have played their role, hmmm!? What's this? I sense rage and hatred… ah how long has it been when felt these two emotions touched my mind, appears they are coming from two individuals, one with the independent mercenary and the other with a group of soldiers, hmmm perhaps they can be of use to me.
(Scene change)
In the Rhodes Island medical bay Blake is seen still resting but is trying to get out hunt down the mercenaries, but then she started to hallucinate as she sees her dead team mates and lover along with many other huntsmen and huntresses who also died in the war.
Huntsmen and huntresses: kill them… kill all of the mercenaries… avenge us… AVENGE US ALL!
Blake: AAAAAAAAAHHHH!
Blake screams in horror and pain as she grabs her own head as she hears so many voices until she hears one.
?: come… come… come to the capital… you'll finally have your revenge… for everything you have lost…
Blake: …
Blake gets out of the infirmary and heads towards the hanger to her A.C but unknown to her Sun sees where she is heading, he wants to stop her himself but he is still in doubt of respecting her will and decision, as he thinks deeply about the situation he goes to tell Jaune and the others about what is happening.
Meanwhile on the carrier, Na'el is having the same painful headache as a voice tells her to destroy Agnus kingdom and everything in it but soon Church calls everyone up, this snaps Na'el out of the trans she was about to fall into she then heads to the bridge to see what the call is.
Church: take a look everyone we made it… to Agnus kingdom.
(Trigun Stampede - July City)
The group sees the large city before them and the capital itself which represents it, Na'el just stares at the capital where the Queen resides.
Na'el: this is the first step… to ending all of this…
Shinck: … Na'el.
Church: I also received a message from the corporations they are going to begin the attack in a few minutes soon.
Shinck: I'll go get ready for the mission.
As Shinck goes to get suited up for the mission he runs into Fatman who can tell that the kid is extremely worried about Na'el and her behavior which they know exactly what she's about to do to the Queen if she encounters her.
Shinck: Fatman.
Fatman: don't worry kid, we'll try to stop her.
Shinck: right.
Back on Rhodes Island base that is with the Redguns everyone gets ready for the mission.
Matthew: are they really serious? Are they really going to fight in the capital!?
Jaune: … yes they are, they'll crush anyone who would get in there way of getting what they want.
Matthew: how can these terrible people still be around for such a long time, don't you guys have a big government or something to stop them?
G6Red: we do but the corporations have power as well so… yeah they may put them down but they won't stay down for long.
Matthew: …
Jaune: we'l try to save as many people as we can especially the soldiers too, but I can't make promises that they won't be badly hurt or worse killed.
Matthew didn't say anything as Jaune and the others go to get ready for Matthew then goes as well to insure that he save as many people he can in this crazy war and possibly talk with the Queen as well as learn why the war between there nations are fighting against each other, meanwhile Blake was already in her A.C and has already left heading to the Kingdom while Mantis still manipulates her.
Mantis: good girl… just like that…
(Scene change)
(Xenogears – Awakening)
Then the battle began as the corporations and the kingdom of Agnus fight against each other as both forces clash against each other, many of the kingdom's soldiers s are seen fighting against the corporations forces while trying to save there people.
Agnus soldier: quick save as many people as possible!
Agnus soldier: push them back, push them back with everything we have if we are going to die we are taking these monsters with us!
The men scream out in fury as they all are ready to die for their home as they all charge to there deaths, Azure Zero is seen above the city as he attacks and takes down many of Agnus forces that were in his way, the same with the Redguns and Rhodes Island as they to taken down some enemies but are also trying to not kill any of them.
Agnus soldier: there getting to close to the castle we can't let them through we just can't!
Agnus soldier: we just received a message that commander Cammuravi is heading for the battlefield and that he is taking down many of the enemy's forces.
Agnus soldier: it's all up to him now… go commander win this war!
All of the soldiers and citizens of Agnus kingdom cheers for Cammuravi to save them all, Shinck is seen taking down many of Agnus forces but they are not giving up even if most of them are badly injured too continue fighting anymore.
Shinck: these guys really are giving it there all even if they know they are all going to die… !?
Cammuravi in his own custom design A.C appears before Shinck ready to do battle against him.
Cammuravi: they all gave there lives to protect their home and all of Agnus from you monsters.
Shinck: …
Cammuravi: you took everything from us but… if we are going to die we're taking you monsters with us!
Shinck: … let's end this.
Cammuravi: yes lets!
(Armored Core - Twisted on the surface)
Shinck gets ready to fight against Cammuravi and his A.C Flame Spear, the two then began fighting against each other as they exchange gun shots between the two Cammuravi then tries to cut down Shinck with his laser cutter ,but he avoids it just in time before that attack could badly damage his A.C.
Shinck then counter attack with his pulse blade hitting his A.C the two continue to fight not holding back as there machines take heavy damage as the two continue on.
Shinck: your strong.
Cammuravi: so are you, there was one person on this planet that could keep up with me and now you're the second.
Shinck: it's a sad shame we had to be enemies like this.
Cammuravi: is that supposed to be petty?
Shinck: no it isn't I can tell that you and your comrades that I fought along the way all had a warrior spirit fighting for what's important, they have my respect.
Cammuravi: hmph then… let's see which one of us will die as a true warrior!
The two charges at each other one last time with there blades at full power then both of them bring down there blades on each other… everything was silent.

Then Cammuravi's A.C fell to the ground and unable to continue fighting anymore, making Shinck the last one standing.
Fatman: it's over. That guy was a true warrior through and through.
Church: yeah he sure was and it looks like the rest of the soldiers has lost the will to continue fighting but most of them wants to continue the fight even if it means there deaths.
Fatman: yeah.
Church: hmmm!? Guys we got a problem Na'el is gone!
Shinck: what!? Where is she!?
Church: she must've went to the castle to do what she in tended to do…
Shinck: I' going after her!
Shinck then heads to the castle to stop Na'el but he wasn't the only one the Redguns are also seen heading there as well then everything fades to black.
