Xander and Charles both volunteered at Magic School not long after and Xander offered to mentor Zac, an offer he eagerly begged his parents to allow.

"Mom, he's not all that different from me. He told you about his abilities, the rules that he uses. Telepathy already scares people and what I did with it scares people even more. Xander can help me, so I don't ever forget."

"Helping him reminds me too, not to forget. We don't want to hurt people and we don't want to scare people." Xander told Zac's parents and after some thought they agreed to allow him to mentor their son.

Charles found having more to do with his day to be very satisfying, as the nine to five thing had never set well with him, he was use to doing so much more.

And Phoebe began her quest to have a child of her own which suffered an emotional kick just a month later when Piper made an announcement to the family.

"I, uh, I just discovered I'm pregnant."

"You don't sound excited." Prue pointed out.

"I am, I just...Phoebe wants a baby of her own and she's perfectly healthy according to her doctor, while the fertility specialist told me that thanks to the buildup of scar tissue that it would be nearly impossible for me to get pregnant and yet, here I am with a one year old and another on the way. I don't want it to look like I'm rubbing it in your face, Phoebe."

"You're not." Phoebe assured her. "And it's not like I didn't have a heads up on it. I'm happy for you, Piper. Don't worry about it."

Phoebe's ten year reunion brought a kick too, in the form of Baker High School's own Bitch Queen, who unlike Cordelia, had never outgrown being a Bitch Queen.

"She's the one who called me Freebee, for years." Phoebe told Cordelia.

"Didn't Prue say it was because her boyfriend had a crush on you?" Cordelia asked.

"He went back and forth between the two of us for awhile. During one of their off times, he and I got caught making out under the bleachers. She accused me of stealing him from her and a week later they were back together again."

"Sounds like he was playing with both your feelings and it made her angry." Cordelia decided. "And she blamed you and took it out on you."

"Easy to blame me, I was a delinquent. I was very much an eighties punk, I ran with a crowd that included a guy who eventually went to jail for a liquor store robbery. I got caught shoplifting, anything to piss off Grams at the time."

"But you've worked hard to be a different person." Cordelia reminded her. "You're in your last year of college, you've got a great job that pays really well. You're a wonderful aunt and hopefully soon, you'll be a mom too."

"I'm also attending alone because I don't have a date."

"Which also isn't your fault." Cordelia pointed out. "You're not even ready to dip your toes into the dating pool, let alone try for a relationship with someone. You've only recently acknowledged that you might some day be ready, but that's just the first step. And you don't have to go alone, you could ask someone to go with you, as just a friend."

"Like who? I'm acquainted with a lot men, but only a handful I would consider friends."

"How about one of Xander's friends?" Cordelia suggested. "Like Coop, the Cupid. He and Xander hang out once in a while and I know Xander has asked him for advice a couple of times. And you like him."

"Because he's a genuinely nice guy and there's a shortage of them in the world." Phoebe grinned. "You think he'd be willing to go, as strictly friends?"

"What else could you go as? Cupids don't really date, they're all about helping other people find love, after all. Just tell people he's a relationship counselor, he's kinda the supernatural version."

"Well, it's worth a shot. I'll ask him, if he says no though, would you be my back up, so I don't have to go alone?"

"Sure, it might be fun. Sunnydale doesn't have reunions, which probably has to do with the high mortality rate."

"I thought that was going down."

"Because the population is moving away with whatever the Mayor did to make everybody sheeplike fading. Not as many people for the demon vampires to prey on."

"Which is a good thing. How do I call Coop?"

"The same way you do a whitelighter, just call their name."

"Hey, Coop, can I talk to you?" Phoebe called out.

Coop materialized in front them. "You need some advice too, Cordelia?"

"No, Phoebe needs a date to her High School reunion and you qualify as a friend of the family who she thinks is a nice guy and she doesn't mind spending time with you, plus you can go just as a friend and not be offended by that or expect anything else."

"Ooookay. I guess, sure, I guess. It's certainly something different to do."

It was, right up until Baker High's very own Bitch Queen unleashed her venom on Phoebe, upsetting her one time rival so much Phoebe had to leave her reunion before she gave into her urge to belt the unrepentant bitch with her fist.

Coop took a moment to address the very satisfied woman who'd just callously insulted Phoebe for bringing a friend of her brother in law's, as she'd introduced him, instead of just stealing someone's boyfriend, like she'd accused Phoebe of doing before in High School. Coop knew a few things of his own though and wasn't willing to not defend someone who'd once helped him.

"She never stole your boyfriend," Cool informed the Bitch Queen. "which you're well aware of. You just refuse to acknowledge he preferred her to you and you've let it eat you up with bitterness. My advice, get help before you shrivel up into a prune."
