Nathan and Haley have been together for nine months. It was now Thanksgiving, and Haley insisted on having it at their apartment and invited her brothers to come since they hadn't spent Thanksgiving together in a long time. Brooke and Lucas were spending it with Brooke's parents, while Jake and Peyton were visiting his parents in Georgia, so it was just Haley, Nathan, and her brothers. Nathan was against it at first, but agreed when Haley gave him her best puppy eyes and kept kissing him until he gave up.

So here they were, standing in the grocery store with Haley's checklist. Nathan laughed when he saw the adorable brunette he loved so much struggling to reach the olive oil. He walked towards her and stood behind her, reaching up to pick up the bottle. Haley turned around to face her boyfriend.

"Thank you, stranger," she smiled up at him. "I just get a thank you?" he pouted while she laughed and kissed his pout away. "You're welcome, beautiful," he smirked and walked towards their cart, putting the olive oil in it.

"So, Haley's little helper, what do we have left?" Haley questioned him as he checked the olive oil off the list. "We still have to get beers since we're watching the football game, plus we're out of beer," Nathan said as they walked towards the liquor aisle. "And Hales, stop calling me 'Haley's little helper.' We know I'm everything but little." Nathan winked at Haley, who gasped and swatted his chest, blushing.

After taking everything they needed, they somehow ended up in the toy aisle making out. "Nathan, we need to stop. What if some kid saw us? That would be very traumatizing." Haley giggled as she tried to push Nathan away. "Hmm?" he mumbled against her neck. "Nathan, honey, let's go so we can go home and maybe do more than making out in the toy aisle?" Haley said. Nathan looked up and nodded excitedly. "Let's go then!!" he said as he grabbed her hand and started pushing the cart.

"All set," Nathan said as he sat in his driver's seat. "Nathan baby?" Haley said as she looked at him cutely. "What did we forget now?" Nathan groaned as he looked at her. "Who said anything about forgetting?" Haley laughed nervously as Nathan gave her the "I know you" look. "Ugh, fine, you caught me. Can we stop by the bakery? I need to pick up some pie."

" Aren't you making pies? " Nathan asked as he started to drive. "Well, I'm making my mom's famous pumpkin pie, but Nicky likes blueberry pie. Also, I want to get some tarts, maybe muffins? " Haley explained as Nathan looked at her confused. "Aren't you making more dessert at home? "

"You haven't seen my brothers on Thanksgiving. They eat like a football team!" Haley laughed.

"Can we get this?" Haley pointed to a pumpkin cake. "Of course, sweetheart," Nathan smiled and walked to pay for the four boxes of desserts. "Thank you, Nathan, for everything. Money is just tight right now, and I'm embarrassed for letting you pay so much, thank you," Haley said shyly as she and Nathan walked towards his car.

Nathan closed his trunk and turned around, facing Haley, who was nervously biting her bottom lip. "Hales, baby. My money is ours. Whatever you need, just tell me, okay? I have enough money to last us a lifetime." She nodded, hugging him, and he laid a kiss on her head.

"What's this?"

"An apron"

" why did you give me an apron? " Nathan asked his eyebrows raised in confusion " you my handsome boyfriend is going to help me cook " Haley answered simply as she tied her hair in a bun " but I don't know how to cook hales "

" so? Im going to teach you " Haley said as she kissed his cheek " now come on hot shot if you helped me maybe you would get lucky tonight " Haley winked at him slapping him on his butt .

" Nathan hand me the pie please " Haley asked as Nathan handed her the pie with a kiss " now what? The turkey is in the oven, the desserts are in the fridge, the rest of the food is on the counter covered and i just finished setting the table up " Nathan asked as he dusted the flour off his hand .

"What will we do with the time?" Haley smiled seductively. "I can think of a thing or two." Nathan wrapped his arms around Haley, leaning in for a kiss.

" Thats the turkey " Haley said as she continued to kiss Nathan " okay " Nathan mumbled against her lips as she moved to kiss his neck-

Haley stood up, muttering under her breath, "Ugh!! Stupid turkey," and threw Nathan's shirt at him.

Nathan chuckled while throwing his shirt over his head and walked towards haley who was getting the turkey out of the oven setting it next to the rest of the food " my girl is an amazing cook " Nathan said standing behind her kissing her neck " Thank you " Haley blushed and turned around in his arms.

" when are your brothers coming? "

" In two hours maybe? Why? "

" i was thinking if you wanted to join me in the shower " Nathan smirked seductively " I thought you would never ask " Haleys smile turned into a gasp when Nathan picked her up throwing her over his shoulder " Nathan!! " Haley giggled " nice view " Nathan smirked slapping her on the ass playfully.

" how do i look? " Haley asked Nathan who was sitting on the couch watching TV, he looked up to see Haley wearing an off shoulder sweater and washed out low rise jeans with light makeup her hair in soft curls " beautiful as always " Nathan smiled when she blushed.

" you dont look so bad yourself " Haley winked at Nathan who was wearing a navy blue sweater with black pants.

Nathan stood up and walked towards Haley wrapped his arms around her waist bringing her as close as possible leaning down he kissed her and smirked when she kissed him back wrapped her arms around his neck bringing him more close to her-

" your brothers are here " Nathan groaned rolling his eyes at Haley who laughed and walked towards the door opening it she was met with her brothers

" Happy thanksgiving!! " They all shouted in unison " hey guys!! I missed you " Haley said smiling as they all enveloped her in a hug squeezing her .

" Baby J!! " a soft voice screamed from behind they all moved to look at the source of the sound " Madi !! " Haley screamed back as the girls hugged each other " you look hot ! " Madison said as she looked at haley " you too!! How are you ? Where's Chris? "

" Im here!! " Chris said as he walked through the door "Chris!! " Haley ran towards her brother hugging him " Hey Baby J happy thanksgiving! " Chris said as he and the others followed Haley to the living room.

" Hey guys " Nathan said as he walked into the living room giving each of them a man hug " whos that? " Madison whispered to haley " that's Nathan my boyfriend " Haley smiled as she and Madison walked towards the kitchen " No way! He's gorgeous baby J! " Haley giggled as she said " I know! And he's a complete sweetheart I love him so much "

" so i guess the boys like him? Thats a first especially for Chris " Madison said as she sat on the stool Haley sat next to her as she told her all about the boys reaction when they found out that they were dating.

" oh come on!! " Ian screamed at the screen as the rest cheered " Ian just admit that the cowboys are a better team than the lions " Nick said while drinking his cold beer " for a football player you really don't know how to pick a great team to like " Chris said handing Jack a beer " everyone knows that the cowboys are better " Nathan said next to nick who gave him a fist bump " yeah! Even the Scott boy knows it ! " Drew said next to Ian who gave him a glare in return.

" I never thought i would like Nathan Scott but things change " Chris said laughing handing Nathan a beer when he noticed his empty bottle " me neither " Haley replied as she walked into the living room standing in front of the TV

" HALEY! MOVE " They screamed in unison " jeez dont get your panties in a twist dinner is served " Rolling her eyes at them haley walked to the dining table that was filled with food .

" wow hales thats a lot of food thank you " Jack said as he kissed her cheek " yeah Baby J thank you " Drew said also kissing her cheek as the rest did .

" Nicky i made you blueberry pie " Haley informed her brother whos eyes widen with happiness " No way!! I love you! " Nick said as he ate his food " you also made mom's apple pie! Your the best hales " Chris said as he gave his sister a side hug " your welcome guys now come on eat the turkey!! "

" hales you should be hosting thanksgiving more often " Ian said as he laid down on the couch " i agree " Matt replied " oh yeah please hales i would marry Chris if you made thanksgiving dinner every year " Madison said snuggling closer to Chris " Im going to pretend I didn't hear that " Chris said making the room fill with laughter

" sure why not. And Ian why didn't jules and the kids come with you? " Haley asked as she turned to look at him " her mother insisted on seeing the kids so she told me to go and have dinner with you guys considering we haven't had a thanksgiving dinner in forever " Ian said smiling

" your welcome anytime guys " Nathan said wrapping his arms around Haleys shoulder " hey madi wanna go to the mall? Im getting bored of watching them watch the game " Haley said as Madison nodded kissing chris cheek she stood up grabbing her purse " I'll wait in the car ! "

standing up and getting her purse haley turned around to look at the boys " First no food fight and wrestling! And second leave Nathan alone okay? I don't want our first thanksgiving dinner to end with him breaking his neck okay? " Haley said sternly hands on her hips a she glared at her brothers " he's a big boy hales- " Matt said only to be cut off " OKAY? " Haley said again louder .

" okay " they replied whispering

" Chris mind if i talk to you? " Nathan asked Chris who nodded and stood up following Nathan to the balcony " what's up Scott? "

" I wanted to ask you something since your Haleys older brother " Chris nodded for Nathan to continue " Haley mentioned something about you having your mothers diamond wedding ring " Nathan said as Chris nodded in agreement " as Haleys older brother i wanted to ask you for your blessing to marry Haley I know we have been together for only nine months but i love Haley i always have since the day i saw her and i wanna spend the rest of my life making her happy and i was wondering if it's okay if I proposed to Haley with your mothers ring? " Nathan asked nervously looking at Chris for any answers

" okay "

" okay? "

Chris chuckled " you have my blessing Nate, I've seen and heard about the way you've been with haley you make her happy and as long as you promise you will always love her and never ever hurt her "

" Thank you! I promise i would never hurt her " Nathan said as he hugged Chris " well you still have to ask the rest of the gang good luck " Chris said as he and Nathan walked back into the apartment

" guys Nathan has something to tell you " Chris said sitting down on the couch " whats up? " Ian asked

" well i just asked Chris for Haleys hand in marriage and he approved but i still think i should ask you guys " Nathan said nervously " we know we heard you " Nick said as the rest chuckled " and we think if you really love haley and really want to make her happy then propose to her " Jake said as the rest nodded

" Thank you guys! " Nathan let out a breath of relief " but if you hurt her we'll hurt you " Drew said as he got up and hugged Nathan as did the rest .

" bye guys!! Come visit more often! " Haley called out as she hugged her brothers goodbye and watched them drive away " finally they're gone " Nathan wrapped his arms around haley from behind kissing her neck " come on Scott we got some cleaning to do " Nathan groaned as he followed haley to the kitchen to help wash the dishes .

" finally! Some Haley time " Nathan said as they closed their bedroom door, Nathan had convinced haley to move all of her stuff in his room and make her room a closet for her to store her things in.

" I just wanna wear my pajamas and lay down " Haley said as she started to undress " yeah same im actually so tired " Nathan chuckled throwing his shirt on the floor and changing into sweat pants " I had fun today " Haley said as she wore her cotton shorts and tank top " believe it or not i actually had fun with your brothers " Nathan said as he crawled into bed laying down " they like you Nathan they just have to act scary but deep down they're a bunch of softies " Haley said crawling in bed next to Nathan, wrapped his arms around her bringing her as close as possible.

" goodnight hales I love you " Nathan said when he noticed Haleys eyes close " love you too " Haley mumbled sleepily as sleep took over.
