On the beach, Sean lies unconscious for sometime now, and he soon stirs as he lifts up head up, and his eyes open. He looks around and then saw a dead Helvitis next to him with it's mouth gaping out as he gasped jumping a bit.
He then grunts a bit as he sat up as the sail lies close by, and he saw a puddle of water. Panting, Sean got to it as he scoops some up in his hands and brought the water to his mouth, but he then groans spitting the water out as it was salty seawater.
Low rumbling was heard from a small tremor as Sean got to his feet grunting, and he looks around and back to the ocean as flashes of lightning were seen in the distance from the storm.
"Trevor." Sean called out removing his gloves. "Trevor."
Then a bird chirping was heard nearby.
"Hello?" Sean said.
More bird chirping was heard as Sean looks around seeing a passageway through the rock wall, and Glow Wing the Rosopteryx appeared.
"Hello?" Sean said not noticing him at first, and sees him. "Hey, little guy. Where are we?"
Glow Wing continues chirping and flies around him.
"Hey, do you know where I can get some water?" Sean asked following the bird. "I'm talking to a bird. I must be losing it."
He follows Glow Wing through the passageway.
Elsewhere on the beach, the raft lies on the shore as distant whistling was heard.
"Sean!" Trevor's voice yelled out.
A trail of footprints lead up a hill as Trevor, Hannah, and the Wild Kratts head uphill.
"Sean!" Trevor yelled.
They continued heading up the hill.
"Wait." Trevor said.
He kneels down panting grabbing some sand.
"The wind blew him this way." Trevor said.
He tossed the sand as the wind gently blew it straight away.
"We still heading north?" Trevor asked.
Hannah works her compass as it beeps. "Yeah, still north." She said. "He's a smart kid. He knows the plan. I'm sure he'll be waiting by the river."
She then walks off.
"Let's find that river." Trevor said.
"Hopefully we arrive at the same time." Chris said.
Low rumbling occurred as Glow Wing flew through the passageway chirping as Sean was still following him.
"Hey... come on, wait up." Sean said.
He pants as he wipes some sweat off and lost sight of the bird.
"Where'd you go?" Sean said.
Then the bird was heard chirping as Sean looks to his right, and then smiles seeing Glow Wing flying around next to a small stream of freshwater dripping down from the rock wall and chuckles getting to it.
"Good job." Sean said.
He held his hands over the water as low rumbling was heard as Sean drinks and the little Rosopteryx flies around chirping.
"Now which way?" Sean asked.
Glow Wing flies off ahead as Sean brought his compass out, and checks the direction he was going.
"South That's good." Sean said. "The river's north." He then closed it. "Okay."
He then carries on.
Elsewhere, Trevor, Hannah, and the Wild Kratts followed their trail as low rumbling was heard.
"Here, let me take that." Trevor said grabbing Hannah's backpack.
"No, no, I'm fine." Hannah assured.
"Come on, let me take it." Trevor insisted.
"Trevor, I'm fine." Hannah said as Trevor removed it from her.
"Hannah, Hannah, I got it." Trevor said. "Let's just stop for a second."
He sighs as he sets his backpack down as they sat down and low rumbling was heard. Trevor brought the thermometer out and saw it was now 115 degrees.
"115 degrees, it's as hot as the Sahara now down here." Martin said.
"Hey. We're going to find him." Hannah said.
Trevor nodded and brought a water bottle out. "Drink that."
Hannah saw it was only one sip of water left. "Is that the last of the water?"
"Yeah." Trevor said.
"Trevor, we're going to need that." Hannah said. "Why don't you keep it?"
"Hannah, drink it." Trevor insisted. "Go on."
Hannah unscrews the cap off, and finishes the water as a rustling was heard, and Trevor looked as behind Hannah was a human-sized Venus Fly Trap as it turns to them. And then gaps it's jaws open, and Trevor saw it wasn't good as he reaches behind him.
"Duck!" Trevor yelled.
"Mm?" Hannah frowned as her eyes widen.
The Venus Fly Trap then lunges as Trevor swings the ski stick as Hannah ducks as the plant was struck as it's jaws were knocked clean off.
"What the...?" Trevor stared at the snapping set of jaws.
"What was...?" Hannah started and then gasped.
Trevor jabs the stick into the jaw set and examines it.
"A large carnivorous plant." Trevor stared.
"A Venus Fly Trap?" Chris frowned bewildered. "But these plants are only a few inches tall! How did they get this big down here?"
"I don't know." Martin said equally stunned.
"Hannah." Trevor turns then noticed that Hannah was missing.
"Aviva? Koki?" Chris frowned noticing them missing as well.
"Jimmy?" Martin frowned.
"Hannah?" Trevor looked around as more giant Venus Fly Traps stirred. "Hannah. Hannah."
He then gasped seeing one Venus Fly Trap having Hannah in it's clutches of vines around her neck strangling her. Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy were also wrapped in vines as well with panicked mumbling with vines over their mouths. And then the plant swiftly turns to Trevor as it hisses, and Hannah gurgles as she struggled in it's grip.
"Hannah!" Trevor cried as two plants approached him from behind.
Then vines wrapped around the ski stick as a plant hisses, and pulled it from his grip vanishing in the bushes at their stalk bases.
One plant struck him in the face.
"Oh!" Trevor exclaimed in pain.
The plant hisses and attempts to strike like a cobra, but Trevor caught at the base of it's jaws with one hand, and then punches inside the mouth. He soon pulls his arm out as it was covered in slime.
"Ugh." Trevor groaned in disgust.
Two plants then cornered the Brothers.
"Oh, no, no, no." Martin said tried to reason with them. "You don't wanna eat us. We're... weird tasting and chewy."
The two plants didn't look convinced, and then they both strike as the Brothers ducked, and they ended up striking each other.
"Whoa, nice reaction time, bro!" Martin cheered.
"Ha-ha! We quick or what!" Chris said.
Hannah gurgles still in the vines strangling grip, and Trevor attacks another Fly Trap as he slams it against a rock. Then a second plant attempts to strike as Trevor caught it behind the jaws, then another plant bites his arm and tears on his sleeve. The plant attempts to strike, but Trevor caught it and grunts as he slams his knee at it, and it fell back. And Trevor turns back to the first plant, and tries to pry it's jaws open as Hannah struggled in the vines' grip.
And then Trevor grips the plant's stalk tightly and pulls.
"Hang in there!" Trevor said straining.
The vines' grip tightens as then Trevor finally pulls the entire plant out from the ground and slams it on the ground. And the vines' loosen their grip letting Hannah go panting as Trevor caught her. And Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy hit the ground and quickly got free of the vines.
"That's one point for me, right?" Trevor said.
"Right." Hannah said panting. "Who's keeping track? Right?"
"You guys, okay?" Chris asked as he and Martin helped the trio up.
"Ask us that again when were away from the man-eating plants." Koki said.
They both panted as Trevor grabs a backpack and Hannah reclaims the ski stick and other backpack and begin to head off as one Venus Fly Trap rose up behind Trevor. And it tries to make a strike, but Trevor then backpunches it with his right fist. stunned by the punch, Trevor turns to it ripping his left sleeve off as the plant falls back to the ground and heads off.
Meanwhile, Sean was still following Glow Wing as he flew around chirping. And the chirping continues as they approach a more open area with some light ahead.
Sean checks his compass make sure he was going the right way, and then he trips on a rock and hits the ground with a grunt. And his pocketknife flew out it's case as it suddenly stopped in mid-air as Sean saw it twisting and turning. Sean frowned as he turns to his compass acting the same as his knife.
"I get it." Sean said knowing what was going on. "It's a magnetic field."
He reaches out to his knife, and grabs it, panting quietly as he got up and placed his knife back in it's case. He then rush over the ground as rumbling was heard, as it sounded hollow. And a few rocks shifted as Sean hurries across them. And then one rock he steps on suddenly drops down, and Sean looks through the gap as the rock rose up again underneath the rock layer.
And he looks ahead.
"No way." Sean said. "Magnetic rocks?"
Ahead of him was a trail of floating rocks a quarter mile long from a cliff as Glow Wing flew ahead.
Sean got to the edge looking down seeing what appears to be a glowing river a half-mile down. And back to the rock trail and sighs seeing no choice, and he grunts hopping onto the first rock, and grunts again hopping on another. He freezes for a moment seeing the sheer drop below him, and then steps on the next rock with panicked breathing as it was just small enough for him to stand on. He struggles to keep his balance, and steps onto the next rock and grunts as a section breaks off and fell several yards before coming to a halt as Sean pants.
Sean soon stood up, and grunts as he leaps onto the next rock as it shifts and he held onto tightly. He pants as he held on, and the rock bumps against the next one as Sean grunts from the bump. And the rock bumped against two others as the cliff was now 100 yards away, panting, Sean looks back as he was drifting away from the rocks behind him as low rumbling was heard.
Sean looks back ahead as he was now hovering mid-air on a magnetic rock, and the other rocks weren't close enough for him.
And Glow Wing waiting on the cliff edge twitters shaking his head.
Sean manages to get to his feet as one rock was drifting towards him. And waits a few moments, and once close enough, he grunts leaping to the rock and held onto to it panting. But then frowns as his movements was causing the rock to flip over.
"No, no... n-n-no, no, no, no." Sean panicked.
Sean held onto the rock as tightly as he can grunting as the rock soon flips upside-down, and continues flipping as his headlamp slipped out of his pocket.
"Oh." Sean seeing it.
He watches as the headlamp fell, he grunts as he was now facing downward as the rock begins to flip right-side up again. And Sean groans in relief, but his movement caused it to tip down again.
"No, no." Sean panicked more. "Oh."
He was soon upside-down again as he grunts holding onto the rock tightly. He gasps and grunts tighten his grip to the rock just to keep himself from falling as he right-side up again and a low rumbling was heard as chirping was heard as Sean lifts his head and sighs in relief seeing Glow Wing.
Relieved it was over, Sean crawls off the rock and onto solid ground on the cliff edge as Glow Wing flies off.
"You try that without wings." Sean said.
Meanwhile, low rumbling occurred as Trevor, Hannah, and the Wild Kratts got to a badland-like area as Trevor was panting, and soon spotted something ahead.
"That's the river." Trevor said pointing ahead.
Ahead of them was a river leading into a cave with steam rising out of it.
"The geyser must be inside that cave." Trevor said. "SEAN...!"
His shout carries out echoing through the area as Hannah looks around.
Trevor then tossed his backpack to the ground, and Hannah sets her down.
"Where is he?" Trevor asked. "Where... is... he?"
Meanwhile, Sean and Glow Wing walked out of the tunnel and entered a different part of the badland region as the bird chirps flying off.
Seeing the landscape ahead, Sean sighs and heads off.
"Trevor?" Sean said.
Glow Wing chirps flying around as they eventually got further away.
"Trevor?" Sean said.
He continues on panting as it was getting really hot now as he wipes some sweat out. And Sean brought his compass out seeing he was still going the right way. He placed back in his pocket and jumps down the small ledge, but some a number of bones and turns looking back seeing the number of bones of a dinosaur skeleton as he breathes heavily.
"Man, I really wish I'd read that book." Sean said.
He stares at the bones as then growling was heard as Sean looks around panting rapidly realizing he wasn't alone in the area. He then ran from the bones as more growling was heard and Sean got behind a rock as Glow Wing flies off chirping.
And then booming footsteps was heard along with roaring as Sean knows something big was close by. And the booming and roaring continues as Sean pants as whatever it was, is coming closer.
Unaware of the danger Sean is in, Trevor saw no sign of him.
"I don't see him anywhere." Hannah said.
Fed up, Trevor grabs his backpack and begins to head off.
"Trevor... Trevor." Hannah said and quickly catches up to him. "Oh, wait, h-hang on a minute. W-W-What are you doing?"
"I'm going to get my nephew." Trevor said. "Hannah... this is all my fault. Save yourself. Just go home."
Low rumbling was heard.
"I'll wait for you at the river, for as long as I can." Hannah said.
Trevor was about to head off but Hannah placed her right hand on his cheek, and then leans in and kissed him on the lips.
"What was that for?" Trevor asked.
"Just in case." Hannah said.
"You guys should wait with Hannah." Chris said. "We'll go with Trevor."
"I'm coming, too." Aviva insisted. "Someone's gotta make sure you make it back."
"All right." Martin said.
Hannah then walks off grabbing her backpack, and Koki and Jimmy follow her as they and Trevor, Chris, Martin, and Aviva begin to head in different directions as Hannah, Koki, and Jimmy heads to the cave.
