Part 2
Bradley glanced at Bianca out of the corner of his eye once she had joined Natasha and the other pilots, he tilted his head to have her join him next to him on the bench. A silent standing invitation that went back to when he played Great Balls of Fire at her sweet 16. Grinning, the girl pressed a kiss to her best friend's cheek before joining him on the bench. He nudged her with his thigh, demanding his own kiss.
"Rooster." She sighed using his call sign out of habit of being around the other pilots.
"Bee." He retorted, lifting his finger to point to his cheek. Shaking her head, Bianca went to press a kiss to his cheek, but he turned his head and caught her lips with his.
"We are going to have a lot of explaining to do." She whispered when he pulled away.
They had kept the true nature of their relationship under wraps, letting the other pilots and sailors think that Bianca was just Jake's, knowing it would be best, especially when they got married.
"Who cares?" He returned, "Our personal lives are just that." Bianca nodded her head and rested her hand on his thigh, as Natasha introduced her to Bob Floyd, her new backseater, Fanboy, and Payback, the two men that came with her.
"This is Bianca Kazansky, she had a moment before I was able to say anything."
"It's Kazansky-Seresin, Nat, you know that. You were the maid of honor." She sighed; this happened every time Natasha introduced her to anyone new.
It was exhausting. But that's how it was. She was only ever looking at her friend's well-being. Just in case Jake ever hurt her again.
"Hey man, are you cool with that?" Fritz asked from where he was standing next to Jake, Bianca had just kissed Rooster when it came to the line "Kiss Me, Baby, ooh, that feels good." Before she bounced up from the bench, she started dancing and singing with the other pilots.
"There's a lot of history there." Jake started, normally he would refer them to ask Bianca and Rooster themselves what happened, but he felt like stirring the pot a little bit mostly with not making his own peace with Rooster and how quickly his wife forgave him.
"They were together when she was a junior in high school and up until our last year of the academy."
"You stole her from Rooster? Really?"
"What? I have more sex appeal than he does." Jake answered before his wife bounced back over them, her eyes dancing, and her cheeks flushed. "Fritz, good to see you. Boys," She greeted as Jake wound his arm around her waist and pulled her into him, he dipped his head down to whisper into her ear.
"Jake, stop.' She whined.
"What's the deal with you and Bradshaw, Kazansky?"
Bianca pulled back to look at him, "What?'
"What's the deal with you and Bradshaw?" The taller aviator repeated.
"There is no deal between me and Bradshaw.' Bianca bit out, icily, "His dad went to the academy and flight school with mine."
"Hangman said you two dated." Yale pointed out, "Before you two got together.'
"Oh? He did?"
"It's the truth darlin'."
With a raised eyebrow, Bianca pulled back to look at her husband, "Do you really want to go down that road?" Jake smirked and took a drink of his beer.
"Coyote, what are they talking about?"
"You don't want to know, trust me," Javy answered with a roll of his eyes. Yes, he had pushed for Bianca and Jake to get together, but you couldn't pay him enough to relive it. It was bad enough; he had been stationed with them after they got married and regretted helping them get together.
"We should go." Jake started having caught Bradley's eye and he motioned to the exit, "I am sure tomorrow will be enlightening for us all."
"Are you 100% sure your dad didn't say anything about this?" Bianca raised her eyes to the ceiling in thought, acting like she knew something.
"Not a fucking thing." She replied, "Commander can't tell me everything."
Annoyed that their friends were stopping him from getting laid, Jake picked her up and put her over his shoulder.
"Jake! Put me down!" She laughed, slapping her hand against his shoulder causing him to laugh as well and pat her ass as he carried her towards the door where Bradley was waiting for them.
Maverick was having a hard time wrapping his mind around the fact that his daughter was married and he had missed it. With numb fingers, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and pressed the familiar numbers for his husband into the phone. Hoping that he would give him insight on what happened between Bianca and Bradley and who exactly was married to their daughter.
The phone rang one, then twice followed by Iceman's familiar voice, "Mav."
"Why didn't you tell me our daughter was married?" It was short and straight to the point, he didn't care for the small talk, he needed to know what all he missed.
"I assume you saw her at Top Deck?"
"Yes, she acted like she didn't know me."
"Do you blame her Pete? You have missed out on almost everything with her. Her high school graduation, her academy graduation. She waited for almost an hour for you to show up for the engagement party but you never showed."
He felt a ball of guilt form in his stomach, he had abandoned Bianca just as quickly as he abandoned Bradley after Goose's death. He still had this ball of fear in the pit of his stomach that he was going to lose them all like he had his parents.
Trampling the fear off, "You let her marry someone who looks a lot like you."
Tom laughed, a sound that warmed his shaky heart, "You met Hangman."
"Barely, he called me Pops and led Bianca away from me before I had a real chance to talk to her."
"Jake is fiercely protective of Bianca." His husband started, "Almost as protective of her as Bradley is."
Maverick vaguely remembered Bradley standing between him and Bianca on her 16th birthday after he showed up hours late to her birthday party and Bradley told him off and threatened to throw him out of the house.
"Do you think she will ever forgive me?" He asked after several long minutes. "You will be with them for 30 days or more, you have plenty of time to make it up to her. But Pete, if you mess this up again, she will never talk to you again."
He could pick up the silent order, don't mess this up. If you do the normal Pete and mess it up. They all were done with him.
