The world the Helldivers were spreading democracy on had fought back against them at last. The divinities allied to the mamano had sprung a trap to keep them frozen in time. The chief goddess was enraged by this and sent many Valkyrie's and angels to free them, but unfortunately they all were corrupted by the fallen goddeses followers. All servents to the divinities constantly stood guard over the four 'chaos bringers' as they had been dubbed by the gods followers and by some high ranking monsters.
Their relationships after the Helldivers imprisonment was rocky with all factions. The fallen goddess had gone into a large argument with Eros who wanted to convince her to try to teach them love, and the demon lord who had wanted to corrupt them. It wasn't just them who were having a rocky time. Hephaestus had become even more reclusive then before as he was now constantly in his workshop planning something and the noise of constant smithing. The chief god had seethed over it for twelve whole days sending a constant stream of her followers to free her four gifts to the world.
But most other gods were elated at this. Poseidon had shown sympathy for them being trapped in the stasis the fallen goddess had made but convinced herself it was for the greater good. Hel was overjoyed when she heard the trap worked, she was still fearful how four humans could destroy souls and the over abundance of death they wrought.
The super destroyers as well were put in a stasis. All gods that opposed the Helldivers had sent forces to put the super destroyers out of the picture, which they somehow were successful with their sneak attack and the large amount of them. The super destroyers had killed most of the attackers before they were put into stasis by the setting of a seel to keep the stasis in check.
The invasion of Lescaite was put on a pause after the disruption the 'chaos bringers' had caused to the world and their forces. The few monster's aware of the 'chaos bringers' were few. The demon lord obviously knew and she quickly informed her husband who wanted all the lilims to return to the castle were he and his wife could protect them. The demon lord quickly shot down this idea saying they didn't want to alarm their 'darling' children. The two did inform some other rulers about it. They told the first born child who quickly set out contingency's for if they escape. Their twelfth daughter who had promised to find were they came from.
The list didn't end there. They told the rulers of some of the biggest monsters nations as well. They told the dragon queen of the dragon continent, the pharaoh Cleo ruler of the biggest oasis in the world, the ice queen Elizabeth ruler of the northern frozen wasteland, Pearl one of the most influential Balrogs was informed and all promised support to the monster lord.
Our story still continues with TYRANNY INCARNATE still loose, not yet noticed by the gods and was nearly done in its cocoon. The automaton's still searched for the planet with new energy to utilse. And to top it off Super Earth couldn't afford to allocate scientists to find out were the Fist of Democracy was transported to. So the world was stuck in the same battle again of man and monster, until they would be overrun with bugs.
So this is where it ends.
There is no way the Helldivers get out of this.
No way.
No Deus Ex Machina, it is just their imprisonment.

"Was I wrong about this." The voice of first chief god finished into his recorder as he finished watching his monitors displaying were the Helldivers where stuck in place.
The clearing were the Helldivers where imprisoned was silent, the gaurds keeping silent hearing out for any movement around them from intruders. There was a constant group of angels keeping watch of the two kilometres area which they banned any creature from entering. This had lasted for two months the gaurds changing every week. Today was no different as it was almost silent, the wind rustling leaves and the occasional step of the angels. They were all constantly vigilant always prepared for a incursion from the chief goddesses forces, but none had come in a while.
A portal had opened up and out stepped the right hand of the fallen goddess the dark Valkyrie Freya quickly followed by a diminutive angel Lara who was a follower of Mara. The angel looked around before shouting out to the crowds. "Okay girls your free to go be with your lovers or whatever." She said uninterested. The angels quickly took their leave a happy grin on their faces today being goddess Eros birthday and they all would be free leave to rejoin with their husband.
But back to the two angelic beings who were now on gaurd with. "I still don't know why i had to be stuck with you though." Freya said giving a icy glare to her current companion.
"What afraid of I will take the man who has caught your eyes." Lara said, "I mean what man would refuse a body like this?" She said rolling her hands over her disgusting form
"A man with taste." Freya retorted, leaving Lara to huff and look away from her to the forest.
While the two continued their arguing, two figures could be seen stealthily hiding from them. One was a tall skeletal looking being pure black it being completely unnoticed in a bush. The other was a automaton made of bronze and more human looking and the soft clicking of gears and springs could be heard if the two fools would shut up. The automaton acted first raising its arm and fired out a small disk as when it landed it started emitting bangs. The two angels jumped and went to investigate it.
The automaton then ran as fast as it could and quickly locating the stone keeping the Helldivers in stasis. It quickly placed it hands on the stone and its anti magic runes on its hands quickly taking effect. The glow of the stone fading away slowly, a magic field around them starting to distort. It was quickly cut short as Freya pierced through its arm holding onto the stone. The automaton grabbed onto its arms as it relinquished the stone and slowly made its way away from the two irrate angels its blue blank glass that resembled eyes flashing red.
Its chest opened up and a explosion came forth leaving no harm to anything besides the angels who both shrieked as they felt their skin burn as it started to peel away and their wings started to smoulder. They both were now livid at the automaton who emitted a few thuds that sounded like laughter as it then disappeared in a flash leaving no trace except the damage it had caused.
"Ahh I hate this job." Freya shrieked tears welling up in her eyes.
"At least you have both of your arms." Lara screamed her arm hanging on by a few bits of sinewy flesh.
Their screaming left them unaware of the exosuit behind them opening up its cockpit. The figure approached Lara holding up his senator side arm and shot it at the weakened angel. The Valkyrie turned round only to be met with a few shots of his liberator.
"Ha. Have a taste of democracy." His celebration was cut short as a few portals had suddenly opened and a horde of followers of the gods emerged. C1 yelped at this quickly running, dodging a attack by a Valkyrie. The figure hiding in the bush sprinted towards were he C1 was sprinting to, only to be proven incorrect as he just jumped to high for a human to in another direction.
"Stop him quickly." A Valkyrie said quickly running up to C1 who had dropped a grenade were he stood. A small explosion resounded and a few of his pursuers were killed from the granades blast. C1 then attempted to call down a stratagem only for him to have no connection with the Super Destroyers, C1 squeaked when he found it out and continued to escape his pursuers, who were on the track of him. This went on for a few seconds until a pitch black hands had grabbed him and pulled him into a portal hidden in a bush with it putting him unconscious.
"Shit. Shit. Shit." The fallen goddess screamed at nothing in limbo, Hel watching her she herself silently weeping as both were waiting for the other gods to arrive. They had been waiting for a few minutes even though the others weren't answering the call of the bell. A swooshing was heard as Eros suddenly arrived and took notice of the two distraught goddesses.
"Whats going on." Eros said only for Hel to point at a captured moment in time of one of the 'chaos bringers' running from a group of angels. "Oh no. You captured him right." She asked only for the fallen goddess to respond with.
"No. We got fucked over by a automaton and with him escaping somehow." She screamed. "And to top it off multiple followers of mine have been killed and Mara is distraught that her favourite follower has been killed." She finished breathing heavily.
"Wait Lara was killed." Eros said through a strained voice after being told she was killed.
Another portal had opened up behind Eros with Poseidon stepping out. "What happened how did they escape." She said holding her trident up water swirling around it.
"No only one escaped being frozen." Hel spoke up at last. "We need to wait for the others until we talk about what we should do." She finished all going silent waiting for the other divinities to arrive.
The figure stood over C1 making sure he was still living after him pulling through a portal. It stood back after checking the Helldiver and seeing he was good, he also looked over to the corpses of a werewolf pack which it had killed gleefully. It made sure where they were was mostly safe from the filth that were monsters, and prepared to leave to forage for food for its master.
"I will be leaving master, your fateful servant is ready to lay their life for you." It said bare eligibly its mouth opening revealing its unblemished white teeth. It then made his way out of the cave looking for anything suitable for consumption, only for the only food for it to see was a harpy who it wouldn't dare to give it to his master.
It continued its search until it saw a bush of berries and quickly shambling to it and quickly grabbed multiple handfuls and threw them into the abyss inside it ribcage. It huffed as it had hoped it had enough for its master even though it wanted meat to give to his master. It then made its trek back to the cave he left his master at, its figure scaring the wits in a hidden slime and a flying succubus holding a figure obscured by the treeline. Walking was still hard for it as it had only started to move again a month ago and still needed to figure out all of its faculties again.
It then reached the cave entrance still being cautious of an attacker not knowing what had happened inside the cave. It acclimated to the darkness in no time seeing the corpses but no master. A shrill scream came from its mouth deafening all in a kilometre radius, with it starting to claw at its face the wounds it made leaking out a viscous clear substance.
"Whatever responsible for this I hope you know the consequences you have now subjected this world to." It cackled with its speech more eligible to the three gods listening in on it.
AN: I hope this makes upfor the absence sorry, a burnout on Helldivers lead to the hiatus but now i have started to play it again so there won't be a two month long hiatus again.
And if anything in the chapter is unclear comment about the issue and I'll go back and redo it.
