"There's an incoming message" spoke Tech, with somewhat of surprise lacing his voice. Although he wasn't all that surprised when Hunter, Echo and Wrecker gathered around him, the same when Omega appeared, likely wondering if it was from Hera, the girl they'd helped on Ryloth. Hunter's smoky voice interupted the silence to have fallen over them, the order to play the message, suspicion in his voice in case it was a trap. The hooded figure soon popped up, a calm voice to match, as the mysterious man offered them work with good pay. All they had to do was meet him on Dathomir is they were interested.
"Dathomir" whispered Echo, recalling something from the past, something he once would have deemed unimportant, but now he considered every little bit of information important. "That's (Y/N)'s home world" added the former Arc Trooper, recalling when General Skywalker had mentioned it, and about her being the daughter of a Sith Lord. Tech had looked around in hopefulness at the possibility of helping find her, especially since their own attempts had taken a backseat. Each of them still trying to recover from the whirlwind of events on Kamino. From the destruction of the only place they'd called home to Crosshair declining to go with them, likely having sensed the mistrust and guilt for what had happened since they'd last been on the same page.
"We have to go. (Y/N) was a member of the family too. This could be the opportunity to begin to fix what's broken" spoke Omega with hope in her voice, recalling the time she had met (Y/N), how sad she had been, even how obvious it was, that she didn't want to be on Kamino let alone apart of the Empire. It had been clear she had been grieving something or had lost apart of herself. "Maybe with (Y/N), the broken brotherhood can be repaired too" added the enhanced clone, turning her attention back to AZ seconds later, as if to avoid the looks she expected to receive. Instead she remembered how Crosshair had saved her and AZ, thrust showing there was apart of whom he was left, just buried deep down and hidden from those who sought to destroy it.
Omega soon noticed the friendly droid had completely charged, thrust she wasted little time switching the medical droid back on. Watching with hope as his systems began to boot up and restart themselves. As his eyes light up again and the friendly voice she'd once been so used too sounded out. Yet his first words a repeat of his last words before losing power and almost joining Tipoca City at the bottom of Kamino's vast oceans. But instead something else entirely.
"CT-9904" almost yelled AZ, seemingly realizing he was no longer underwater or on the planet he'd been on before. Instead near Omega with what remained of Clone Force 99 on board their modified ship. As soon as the numbers left his mechanical body, the attention of the four soldiers turned to him, as if stunned by the reminder of their missing brother's clone identification.
"Crosshair" spoke Tech quickly, as if to correct the droid on the mistaken name. Yet as if that was the password. AZ burst into life again. Only this time showing a brain scan, one belonging to Crosshair, the scan accompanied with a date and time stamp. Taken not long before Hunter had been captured on Daro. Along with the scan was a video saved, seemingly of some of the plans Rampart had in store for the enhanced sharpshooter, as well as revealing the discussion the Vice Admiral had with Tarkin regarding the constant distraction (Y/N) seemed to be causing and Crosshair's ability to break through the control of the inhibitor chip. Another video began playing moments after the previous one finished. This one of Crosshair.
The Message
Crosshair was sat on the edge of the bed in the med bay, his elbows on his knees as he held his head in his hands. It being clear he was in pain. AZ's voice could be heard although the droid couldn't be seen suggesting he was the one filming the message.
"Active the message when Tech, CT-9905, says my name. Crosshair" mumbled Crosshair, thrust giving the instruction of when the message should be played, and for who. Yet the sharpshooter didn't look up, instead he squeezed his eyes shut, as if to make an attempt at control the pain of the thumping headache now plaguing him, as if he was concentrating on breaking free from the inhibitor chips control long enough to give the information needed.
"If you get this message. Protect Omega, its not just the Kaminoans after her, others are too, fallen Jedi and Vader. Take her to Dathomir, the Night Brothers will help protect her. Find me when she's safe" spoke Crosshair, fighting as hard as he could against the inhibitor chip, even when it had clearly malfunctioned, it still had power over him, it still forced him to obey every order given regardless if he wanted to or not. "(Y/N) is on Naboo, find her, Omega's future depends on it" finished the sharpshooter, before the inhibitor chip won the battle for control and the video cut off.
End of Message
Wrecker, Tech, Hunter and Echo looked to the blank space, where the video hologram had been mere seconds before hand. Neither knowing what to say, although Tech turned to the control panels behind him, checking for something before sighing in defeat. Seeing they had little choice on what to do at the moment.
"We don't have enough fuel to get us to Naboo, whether we like it not, we'll have to go to Dathomir, both to find safety for Omega and to find the hooded man" quietly spoke Tech, finding himself with the suspicion the two messages were somehow connected. Omega would have protection there, he didn't doubt Crosshair on that, plus Dathomir was (Y/N) home world, as Echo had stated earlier, surely they'd find something there. "Didn't Captain Rex mention something about the world as well?" recalled Tech, quickly noticing the planet seemed to be the center of something, although he was beginning to question what that was. Even more so when Dathomirian's weren't known for involving themselves in off world issues.
"General Skywalker mentioned it being the home of some of the best warriors in the galaxy. And some powerful witches" noted Echo, recalling making instant connections to (Y/N) and her skills as a fighter. "The planet has a strong connection to the dark side of the force, most notable force wielders being (Y/N), Maul, Asajj Ventress and Savage Opress" added the former Arch Trooper, recalling the havoc three of them caused before and during the war. Maul being a former Sith apprentice, being the one to alert the Jedi of the Sith's return. Asajj had been active during the war but turned over a new leaf, she sacrificed herself for love. Where Savage had been a brutal warrior, to the point he'd taken out several Jedi with little trouble.
"Its settled. We'll go to Dathomir" commanded Hunter, sighing after, even more knowing there was little to no choice in the matter. If they didn't have enough fuel to get to Naboo then they didn't have enough to get to Ord Mantell, plus their ship needed repairs if they were to complete the job Cid had sent them on. "When we get there we split up. Wrecker you stay with Omega here on the ship, Echo, Tech and I will go and find this stranger, see what he has to offer" finished the former Sargent, noticing Omega had since picked up (Y/N)'s spare lightsaber, as if curious what she was meant to do with it, inspecting it even. Almost as if she was aware of the legacy to come with weapon and why she'd been given it in the first place. As if she was aware how dangerous the path chosen for her, truly was.
