She didnt understand, how could she still feel him when he wasn't here. Was the well and time making it worse? She wanted to crawl to the well, to see if getting closer helped at all but she couldn't move, she couldn't breathe. It felt like her insides were being ripped apart.

All she could do was scream his name as if he would hear her, help her. He couldn't.

Then suddenly everything was still and the pressure was not so bad. Kagome slowly pulled her hands away from her ears. It wasn't as bad but it was still there. She slowly crawled to the well house and slid open the door. It took all her power. She grunted with each slow crawl down the steps. She touched the wood lip of the well and hauled herself up and looked down. There was no magic.

"It will not help,"

Kagome gasped and turned.

She knew instantly who this woman was but how she was here, she had no idea.

His mother regarded her, "My home exists in no time, in no place,"

Kagome continued to breathe heavily.

"It is where he is,"

"I, I don't-" Tears started to form,

"You do not understand, and that is understandable," His mother walked elegantly down to Kagome, "Time will not save you,"

Tears streamed down her face, "Is he ok." She asked,

"You worry for him though your soul is being torn?"

Kagome shook her head,

"I offered to kill you,"

Kagome's eyes went wide,

"He forbid me for doing so, though It would end your suffering,"

"Would it end his?"

His mother's eyes widened, would this girl really sacrifice herself for him? "You care for my son,"

"Of course I do," She breathed,

"He tried to kill you, even now he hardly looks your way,"

Kagome, "He is still my friend,"

"Foolish human"

"How much longer," Kagome gasped,

"Many days,"

"Are you, are you helping me?"

"Temporary, you would not be able to form a sentence without me,"

"Will you keep coming?"

"I aid him only,"

"Then why are you here?"

Why was she there? She wondered. "I will aid you," She said suddenly.

Before Kagome could say anything else, she snapped her fingers and suddenly they were gone from earth.

When Kagome opened her eyes everything around her was grayish white. His mother stood tall next to her as she sat on the ground. With another snap of her fingers, her protected bubble around Kagome vanished and Kagome went down more, her face to flood, her ears to her head.

"If you wish to see him, fight it," His mother snapped.

Slowly Kagome removed her hands and looked up, "He told me to stay away,"

"He can not take you, I have him bound,"

"Why are you doing this?"

"Short of dying, there may be another way to aid, now get up,"

His mother watched, wondering if the human could do it, could fight it. True to his word Kagome was strong. She pulled herself up and forced herself to follow his mother. The closer she got the more she could hear him but she found the pressure to subside a bit. His mother watched closely until Kagomes laid eyes on him.

"Sesshomaru,"

He was gone. Far gone but at the sound of her whisper his blood-red eyes found her. Kagome could not believe her eyes. She saw every muscle tighten on his upper body.

"You do this to him,"

Kagome looked at her and shook her head "The moon does this to him,"

His mother's lips parted. Did this girl not understand? Not realize?

"You would die to aid him without any understanding?"

"I understand," Kagome wanted to move to him and she was slightly.

"Miko, you are in pain because he is in pain. Your pain is his pain, power calls to power."

His mother leaned in, "This has nothing to do with you being a Miko, it is only he you feel, hear, ne?"

Kagome blinked,

"He does not call to you because of that,"

Kagome placed a hand on her chest, "He cares in his own way too,"

"He more than cares woman, the blood moon does not lie, if I released him you would be marked, your body his, and pregnant by morning."

Kagome blushed hard and she couldn't help the way her body reacted, "The moon," She grunted out,

"Amplifies desire, my son wants you and I think you want him too,"

Kagome went to her knees again, "He doesn't want this,"

"Do you?"

Kagome could not form words. How could she say yes? How could she say no?

"You want to end his suffering,"

She wanted to end her own,

"Is there no way?" Kagome gasped feeling him. His power was wild now,

"Touch him,"

Kagome looked up and the demon Lord's eyes met hers and nothing could stop her now.
