Ch 5: The Beauty Is A Beast
Spadix entered the home and placed her hood on a couch arm, walking over into the room to see Jin observing the care Nox Oculus has received over the years. She smiled, sliding her arms around the dragon from behind and nuzzling into her strong back, Jin smiling, "It's still such a gorgeous weapon Little Bird."
She kissed along Jin's back, body still riding a bit of a high from the fox, fingers massaging into abs carefully to avoid cutting Jin with talons, "Mm well, it is my pride and joy."
The dragon practically purred, reaching down to tangle fingers in with Spadix's and bring a hand to her lips. At first, she paused as her lips brushed the skin, then Spadix could hear her nostrils flare as she breathed deeply, feeling Jin's body go rigid, "You… were around Scarlet? Why?"
She turned to face the owl and watched her carefully. spadix was looking away, moving a hand to nibble on a talon. She weighed her response carefully, thinking of the best way to speak of it before she opened her mouth, "I… Jin I know you still love her. How could you not? You dated for eight years! I… can't compete with that… so I couldn't think of anyone better to ask for help…"
Jin wasn't sure what help she meant but she didn't like the implications Spadix was making, gently reaching to grasp her chin and raising the owl's face to look at her, "You don't have to compete with anything. You are everything to me. She could never replace that. Not now, not if it had been twenty years. I will always be in love with only you."
Eyes closed and a weary soul rested in those words, nuzzling into Jin's hand as her own reached to hold it, taking a deep breath, "I asked her to help us have a baby… as long as you are comfortable with it of course. I know you haven't released your hold on her. In love with me or not… you want her around… and I have to find the peace to accept that…"
Jin froze, unsure how she felt about that information. What did it even mean? What exactly was Spadix asking Scarlet to do to help? Could she deal with that? "Spadix… I don't know if my beast can accept a baby with her… it only wants your baby…"
The owl reached, kissing along the fingers on her face and pulled the container from her pocket, "It…would be. In the only way we can… I talked to him on the way out… the medical cocktail in this container would blend my genetics with someone long enough to give you that. It's the best we can do… I… didn't want it to be some random person… if someone is going to touch you at least it can be someone who loves you that has touched you before…"
Explaining herself was harder than she expected it to be and she could feel the thumb rubbing away loose tears as Jin pulled her close and held her tightly. Whatever weird energy had been exchanged between herself and the fox was gone now and all she could do was cling to Jin, burying her face into the warm firm body against her and let herself be held. Fingers brushed through her feathery hair and lips pressed to her forehead as Jin let her relax. It was a no brainer really as Jin ran the option through her mind. Her beast would have no one else but the two women in her life especially with Spadix back in it. If the baby could also be Spadix's, she also didn't think she could think of anyone else.
Whether she liked it or not, Scarlet was also hers and she didn't intend to release the fox. She fully intended to keep her marked as hers. Be it possessiveness of her beast or the fact Spadix was lying in front of her about her inner feelings, she refused to lose the fox completely. It felt awful in a way to put Spadix through this feeling of having to battle for her heart. There was no question, Spadix was the one she was in utter love with. But the more she stood there and forced herself to think about it, the more she had to admit it. She in fact still loved the fox very much.
Nuzzling Spadix's head, she whispered, "Alright, but only if you'll be there. I can't be with her without you, not anymore. You are the one my beast wants most. It would cause a fight if you weren't there."
Spadix lifted her face and kissed Jin softly, "As if I'd let anyone touch you without me. You are mine."
Jin scooped her into her arms, the owl wrapping her legs around her waist, talons scratching along the dragon's scalp as Jin nuzzled her bonded mark, "Now, explain to me why she rubbed her scent on my mark huh? What exactly were you two doing other than talking?"
The red bleeding into Spadix's cheeks made Jin smirk, already working to suck and bite at the mark to cover Scarlet's scent with her own. She could feel the owl squirm in her grasp, hips grinding against Jin with each nip and suction at the mark, the owl breathless, "unnn her mark smells like you… makes me want to bite her… you can't have her and not expect my beast to be jealous and possessive too… what's yours is mine after all."
The thought strangely made Jin tremble and growl in hunger. She couldn't help the fact her beast was overflowing with excitement at sharing the marked faunus with her true mate. Was this how polyamorous mates happened? She'd heard of them of course though she'd always been told it was tricky to balance and most faunus avoided it even if they weren't monogamous creatures once mating marks were exchanged. The idea of it though was very intriguing to her inner beast, especially if Spadix's jealousy would be soothed. Of course she knew Scarlet wouldn't be able to mark either of them in return, not without outraging the dragon or the owl inside but that didn't bother Jin at all even if it was quite unfair to Scarlet in the end.
Spadix felt her back fall into the wall as Jin pushed her into it, teeth eager on her mark as Jin was biting at the scar, growling in a way Spadix knew was her sexual desire. She gripped hold Jin's hair, panting lightly as she squeezed her legs tighter around Jin, pressing her hips into raw muscle and grinded along them. Her beast was already sensitive but feeling Jin be so desperate to remind her beast who she belonged to was making her inner monster insane, the energy spiking high. Her lips placed hungry kisses along old scars with a whine, practically yelping each time those teeth pressed on her hard, "J…Jin… please… don't tease me…"
She got a growl in response, shifted in Jin's grasp until thrusting hips met hers, the sensation shooting jolts through her stronger and stronger. She needed this. Her body wanted to let go so badly after all the different sexual energy she had been reeling in from the two alphas. Her beast submitted, whining at Jin's growl and talons dug into skin to grip her ravenous lover, flustered and growing closer and closer as the taunting voice entered her ear, "you want her don't you? I can tell. You want her to fuck you don't you? Feel her against your skin? Bury those aching teeth into her neck and own her…"
Spadix could only whine in response, her mind racing. Between the powerful push of Jin's alpha energy suddenly releasing in full force onto her, overwhelming her into intense submission and practically drowning her in its hunger, and the burning mental image of Scarlet's neck in her teeth while the alpha submitted to her as Jin's true mate, Spadix couldn't speak. Jin could tell how aroused she was though as hips grinded together chasing the high in such desperation it was making Jin's entire body crank up in temperature and growl deeply into her chest, rumbling loudly and filling Spadix's ears adding to her swim in her pleasure.
She bit at Spadix's ear, giving a tug that elicited a moan from Spadix sharply, the owl rocking into Jin faster and harder, panting deeply as Jin pushed her further, "Your tiny alpha side wants to claim her doesn't it? Make her yours. I want to watch you mark her while I fuck you. Share her with you forever. Would that please you? To feel her answer the call of your beast and know she isn't a threat because you tamed her?"
Spadix gasped, eyes squeezed shut and she gripped Jin tightly, shaking in her orgasm as hot raging breaths painted her neck and ear from Jin. Why it felt so amazing to be talked to like this she didn't know, in the past it would have only made her nervous but now, now it was tickling parts of her beast she had never felt until being with Jin again. The fact that Jin's full, pressing energy was not only meeting hers but practically swallowing it whole wasn't helping her have any resistance to this. If anything, it was making her much more susceptible to anything Jin wanted, her submission curling to make room for Jin's beast fully and presenting itself for Jin's desires and needs, eager to grant them all.
She felt fingers cup around her core, pressing hard into her as she rode out the tail end of the surprising and explosive release, vision spinning. Those teeth were planted in her mark so hard she could feel the dripping of blood down her shoulder slowly and it was all coming into focus what had pushed her so intensely. That powerful dominance had made her cum, so forcefully she was struggling to come back down calmly, heart pounding. It had never been this intense and it was only obvious to Spadix now just how much power Jin's beast always had that was never really flexed at her.
It made her face flush. In her time gone, she'd learned plenty about beastial energy. She knew Jin was considered to have an apex alpha beast but she'd never felt it as strongly and the surprise alone had been enough, coupled with the actual overwhelming push and now Jin was purring and trying her best to help calm Spadix so she could breathe. It was hard to admit the experience could easily become addicting as her mate as she rested her head on Jin's shoulder and tried to slow her breathing. A tongue lapped at the wounded neck, only making her shiver, twitching her hips against the hand still holding her sex as she let her beast work down from the experience, "F…fuck… what was that?"
Jin rumbled, licking the mark still, "All of me. Everything that has always been yours that no one else has ever seen. It was about time you received it. I was always unable before with how timid you were."
If Jin wasn't constantly putting of energy that was incapable of calming, Spadix would probably be having an easier time right now settling. But that wasn't how apex energy worked. It didn't calm. It was meant to be a constantly oppressive presence even if sweetly, that made itself known at all times. It didn't mold to others like Spadix had felt with Scarlet on the beach. It wasn't capable of such submissions and clearly to Spadix, Jin wasn't finished. So the most she got her body to do is catch her breath and try her best to relax, "You need me don't you?"
Jin hummed and nuzzled her, "badly."
Trembling fingers grasped Jin's jaw and lips met hers briefly, still needing to breathe, "Take me then. With every bit of strength you need to."
It was enough to make jin's beast crawl inside her, growling as she pulled the owl to their room, dropping her on the bed roughly and pulling spadix to her knees, mounting against her hips and holding her in place, grinding her own hips into the owl roughly as she growled, teeth finding the bite again over her shoulder as her chest pressed into Spadix's back, biting in again hard and causing the owl to moan deeply.
Frustrated, impatient hands yanked at clothing until the owl was bare. Spadix would be cold if not for the intense temperature radiating off Jin. It felt amazing to her but she knew Jin needed more. She was a bit worried in this position, unsure of it. The last time Jin had her like this and was this riled up had ended in life-threatening tragedy. Calming her brain as best she could and letting herself take stock she found that even with the worry, her body was responding to every thrust and grasp, hot and wet and needy for Jin to over power her fully. With trust in the fact they were at least present, no fog from their heats to cause issues this time, she weakly reached for the nightstand and pulled forth the toy from it, sliding it over to her desperate lover, "Jin… please… I said I wanted all of it…"
A glance back showed the gleam in those amber eyes shining with need. In no time, the dragon was pulling from her own clothing and placing the item within herself, grinding the length along drenched folds as she remounted the owl, one hand around Spadix's waist and the other kneading a breast. The attention had Spadix in pure ecstasy, every bit of her inner beast dying to feel more of the full weight of Jin's beast, rocking back into each motion. Jin could hardly take the wait, her beast irritable with it as she shifted and pressed fully inside, making them both gasp.
The moment Spadix shifted against her and pressed back again, Jin's entire being was on fire, every nerve tingling as she thrusted into the bird, licking and biting skin with a possessive growl that was making Spadix whine in pleasure. There was nothing gentle about any of it and yet both were in pure bliss of each other, the rapid and harsh thrusts of strong hips dragging the length quickly along inner walls at just the right angle had the owl falling into her elbows and crying out, thighs trembling as she did her best to withstand the push of the stronger faunus without falling forward, arching back for a better angle. The moment she found it she could swear she was seeing stars the way it was hitting everything perfectly inside her, Jin's hand still teasing her chest as the other shifted and stroked her clit.
The dragon was not faring much better, the aggressive but intimate rumble so intense it had her chest vibrating against Spadix's back, hips snapping back and forth wildly and with her full strength. She was so close but she needed more. Luckily, her owl was perceptive to her needs, rolling her head to expose her bonded mark to the dragon still raw from the earlier bite, the woman groaning, "please… I need you so much…"
The words made Jin bristle with a deep hunger she had not felt before outside her heat and she latched into Spadix hard, growling and slamming into the owl with each thrust, watching as Spadix drooled from her whining lips and felt the woman shake with her fall over the primal edge, taking Jin with her so swiftly it nearly forced Spadix over. When the two calmed, Spadix could feel she would be sore everywhere already, Jin slowly released her to pull away. Her body slowly collapsed into the bed, breathing calming with closed eyes as she relaxed, Jin's impressive energy fading as it calmed.
Once Jin tossed away the toy, she let herself fall into bed next to Spadix and pulled her close. nuzzling her weakly, "You ok?"
Spadix could only nod, too worn down to speak as she lost to exhaustion and fell asleep. The dragon curled into her tighter and rested her own eyes. She had waited to be able to be her entire beast with Spadix so long and had swallowed it down not wanting to hurt the fragile thing in school but Spadix was far from fragile now. She was strong enough to handle it and the bond between them allowed for such feral behavior to be possible as well. It was sad to her really in a way. If Spadix could have her young, that would be the way it would happen she knew it. She could feel it. That would be how her beast would act to giving such things to the owl. It of course could never be they knew now but, she let herself pretend it was possible if only in this moment, her beast swelling with a deep pride as she too fell asleep.

The next day Spadix didn't wake until the afternoon, body beginning to get used to waking up sore everyday though this was probably the worst. On the nightstand was a glass of water and some pain medicine for her. Either Gunner had taken pity or Jin was trying to be sweet she figured as she down the pills and finished the glass. Her throat was sore and scratchy from all the noise she had been making the night before, making her blush as she replayed it in her head.
Jin really had been holding back in their youth for spadix's sake. Even now while she had managed she was really hoping that wouldn't be the new norm. She was certain her body couldn't take it over a long period of time. It took some effort to get dressed, back and body sore from how she had bent herself for the powerful dragon, nibbling a talon as she looked herself over in the bathroom. Even if it had been insanely intense and possessive, it had been amazing. Her beast had adored every second of it. The bites were a very intense purple, bruising from the force now that Jin's teeth were quite blunt, with scabbing over the punctures.
She washed the area carefully, flinching at the tender skin, and washed the dried drool and tired look off her face before she made her way from the room to find Jin. Her ears easily picked up on the sound of two women talking. The tone seemed strange. It was tense but also tender, they were arguing but also sounded to be having pleasant exchange. It didn't take her long to recognize them to be Scarlet and Jin. Waiting back a bit in the hall, she listened for now, unsure what she was walking into.
Scarlet was seated on the arm of the couch, arms folded and glancing over at Jin, the dragon in a chair to the side. The fox rubbed her mark, the skin itchy from Jin's stare, "I didn't do anything to her you know. She touched me. And she scampered off the moment my body startled her. You can relax already. There's nothing more to tell Jin. Let it go."
Jin was watching Scarlet carefully. She first and foremost wanted answers on what exchange had happened with her mates while she wasn't there, that possessive alpha beast unhappy still at the fact Spadix had Scarlet's scent, "You scented her mark… and you expect me to believe you? Come on Scarlet, just tell me."
The fox growled, intense glare boring down on Jin, "I told you! Nothing! There's nothing to tell, dammit! Besides, you wouldn't be able to understand. Your energy isn't capable of actually soothing her."
The deep growl Jin released pulled Spadix from hiding. She couldn't very well let the two of them brawl in the living room over a misunderstanding though she was sure Scarlet was picking her words with the intention to irritate Jin. The fox was probably bitter. She moved in just in time to get between them, Jin already working from her seat. Spadix forced herself into Jin's lap which pushed the dragon back into the chair, "Ok that's enough you two. Jin, love, it's not how it sounds I promise. Relax ok and let me try to explain it to you."
She could feel Jin's beast vibrating with anger as she leaned back into Jin, running her hands along Jin's until the energy spike radiating off Jin calmed. Scarlet just watched them, her mouth tight. Spadix figured it was probably hard to see but her priority right now was her mate, not the fox. When Jin calmed, Spadix sighed, voice a bit hoarse, "She's messing with you obviously. Don't take the bait Jin. She's jealous. Look, you have too much energy. It's an apex thing. You can't create a calming exchange. That's all. It's hard to explain. I'm sorry. Much as I hate to say it and you'll hate hearing it… my energy and scarlet's are more compatible when it comes to calming each other down than ours are."
Scarlet leaned into her hand, watching the two. Was she jealous? Maybe. It was definitely possible though she didn't humor the thought. Really, her beast was upset with the way Jin was treating her, still mated to Jin and eager to be in her graces not aggressions. It hurt a bit deep down, her beast squirming, at how Jin was being. Didn't Jin care that Spadix was the one who made advances on her? That she was innocent in this and it had been the bird that had touched her like that first? It didn't feel fair to her beast to be receiving the aggression when she was the one who had been subjected to it. Spadix had licked her, had been possessive of her, and advanced sexually towards her. She hadn't done anything but respond with a nuzzle into the scar.
Spadix could tell Scarlet was unhappy. She swallowed to soothe the itchy throat and sighed, "Jin… I was on the beach depressed and she found me. She was just trying to help. She was also upset. Without really meaning to we were pumping out calming energy and we synced as only alphas and subs and sub neutral presenting can. We passed out. When I woke up she was radiating so much of your energy off her mark I couldn't help myself. She tried to get my attention about it but I was the one pressing her but nothing happened ok? I licked your mark on her but I wanted to claim it like I told you. You know I don't like... I left the moment I realized I was affecting her. Don't be mad."
Both alphas stared at Spadix in surprise. Jin hadn't thought Spadix would have been the instigator nor familiar with the facts while Scarlet surprised she admitted to anything rather than let the fox receive Jin's anger. It definitely explained to Jin why her words had worked on Spadix so strongly last night. Scarlet slowly smiled, having not missed the strain in Spadix's sore throat either, "I guess you were able to still satisfy her even if I was the one making her hot and bothered anyway. So in the end, who really won here?"
Spadix frowned with a blush but Jin seemed to take some pride in the statement, hands lacing in Spadix's own as she relaxed. It made Scarlet smirk that she was able to make the owl fluster without angering Jin. She brushed curls behind her and took them in a bit more before speaking, "so, is this all you asked me over for Jin or is there something else?"
Spadix knew Scarlet meant the baby. Scarlet knew she knew too. Time to see if the owl had followed her conditions. Jin seemed to squirm a moment, looping around spadix a bit possessively before the uncomfortable tense silence was broken, "Spadix came home with something that's the only way any baby we have can also be hers too. But we need another person. She said she asked you?"
Spadix glanced away, watching the floor. It still sucked to discuss like she was useless in this matter. Her beast and her heart hurt at the feeling. Scarlet watched her a moment before she nodded, "she did."
She didn't seem to be willing to give the couple the satisfaction of the fact she might actually be very willing and excited by the idea deep down. After all, she was just there to be a conduit to them. No one was asking her because she was loved or they wanted it to be her or wanted her to be a part of their little family. Fingers massaged the mark on her neck as she ignored the facts, refusing to let any of it drag her down in front of them. While the couple had spent their night in raw unfiltered animalistic sex, Scarlet had spent it in tears. The emotions of being used by someone she loves, of being nothing but a way to give them their dreams while her own were ignored, of the irritating mark making her want this against her heart's will, it had all been overwhelmingly painful. It was the only time in all these years she had regretted letting Jin mark her. But she wasn't about to let them know this and lose her dignity and autonomy over this.
Swirled orbs glanced up, noticing Scarlet nursing the mark with fingers trembling oh so slightly. For a moment, she felt awful. Scarlet was truly getting the raw end of it all and she was struggling because of it if their talks had told her anything on it. While the owl would not and could not surrender her mate, she still understood Scarlet was aching. If someone had come along and Jin left herself for them, she would be devastated herself. She had to say something, anything, it felt so wrong not to, "Jin is ok with it so long as I'm there… is that ok with you?"
Furrowed brows met Spadix's gaze, "I'm sorry, now you care how I feel about it? Weren't you the one insisting I do this for you two? I don't remember my feelings mattering before so why do they matter now?"
Jin growled a warning but Scarlet returned it, not backing down even if hers was hollow, "No. Don't you growl at me. She showed up on my family's doorstep and just asks me to do this for you two and it doesn't even matter if I don't want to. All she bothers to care about is what your wants are. What your needs are. Fuck what I feel right? It's not about me after all I mean… I'm only the one who has to fuck you and give you my baby than just walk away like I don't care about that! Heh… why did I even agree to this? you know what… fuck you both. I'm done with this."
She got up and headed for the door but both her wrist was grasped in moments by a hand so familiar to her skin she nearly whined in her ache as Jin gently stopped her, Spadix left set down in the chair watching, "I don't know what you two talked about. But I'd never ask you not to be involved in a baby that is also rightfully yours. I know you want children. I know you love me. I don't expect you to do this and then just walk away. I don't want to do this if you are not going to stay too."
It made Spadix's beast flush with jealousy for a moment before she swallowed it down, watching Scarlet's tense shoulders tremble a bit. 'It's only fair,' she told herself, 'Scarlet means something to Jin too. She loves her even if it's not the same. I can't have all of her. It's been too long. I need to accept this for her. I want to. I have to relax. It's not fair to Scarlet to come crashing into their lives and ruin her happiness.'
In truth, she also wanted Scarlet even if only on a carnal level, even if only because her mate wanted her and had a claim on her. Her inner beast insisted she claim her too, wanting Jin's energy off Scarlet to be hers as well. It was entirely an instinctual attraction but she was torn between being ok with that and wanting her mate to herself. Both things were pulls on her instincts as she watched Jin tug Scarlet to turn, "Please Scarlet… I love you. I love both of you. If you can do this, I want you to."
The fox shivered. Hearing those words felt like a joke, like torture and yet, she desperately wanted them again. When she turned to glance at the owl, waiting, Spadix seemed to be torn before she nodded, fidgeting with her talons, "Would you come home Scarlet? Do this with us? We can sort out things as… mates?"
Scarlet wasn't sure she believed what she just heard Spadix say, especially since it seemed to be more out of defeat than desire, but she crumbled, taking a deep breath and rotating her wrist in Jin's grasp until her hand was in Jin's, "I swear… I have no interest in being a tool. If I'm doing this, I want to be loved too…"
Jin nodded, pulling Scarlet close and purring into her mark on her neck, whispering, "you could never be a tool to me."
