Sanji looks down at the pan on the stove cooking the meat. His eyebrows furrow. His lips thin. Trying so hard to hold on his emotions.
Having to heavily stick to his recipe. He couldn't taste anything at the moment. Usually he's prepared but they've been at sea longer than they thought thanks to a sudden storm. He says sudden but on the grandline it's to be expected, especially when moving in between islands.
He is always prepared. Making sure to do what it takes to be able to taste. Especially considering he's the cook of the crew.
As much as he is prepared things happen, like storms, to push him off track. His plans happily flushed down the toilet. Because of the storm they are still some days away from the next island.
His crew of course is unaware that that he is a fork. Unaware that he can not taste food.
It had started after he left his biological father family. It was like some divine intervention, as soon as he leaves his abusive family to pursue his passion he starts losing his taste. The cooks on the ship were apprehensive of him. That's where he learned about 'forks' and how most are criminals. Criminals worse than pirates. Forks are people who lose their sense of taste. The only thing they can taste are people labeled 'cakes'. Most forks go crazy after losing their sense of taste and end up eating cakes. Cannibalism. The other chefs were afraid of Sanji one day cannibalizing a cake. Of course he never meet one, it helped (not said in a nice way, Sanji was forced) the little blonde never left the kitchen.
Slowly his sense of taste got worse and worse until he couldn't taste anything. Nothing had flavor. Not even his own blood. He cut himself once, curious about it. Was it just food he couldn't find flavor for? When he learned that was true he stopped the bleeding and patched the bleeding. It wasn't a large wound so it healed fast and didn't leave a scar.
Then he met Zeff. The man changed his life for the better. Not only was he not afraid of Sanji but he had knowledge others don't thanks to his time as a pirate. As long as Sanji taste a cake he'll be able to get his sense of taste back.
For a while.
He's learned it depends. Each fork and cake is different. Just because he meets a cake doesn't mean they are perfect. Some cakes he barely tastes. Some cakes are too much, as if seasoned with everything. Too salty. Too sweet. Barely any flavor. Because of this he's knows each has different lasting effects. The ones who are barely flavorful last the shortest. With women like that Sanji has to go more than a round of tasting. The overly salty and sweet ones last a little longer but not by much. None last longer than a week.
Now he had a choice. After joining Luffy crew he could have tasted Luffy. To think their captain is a cake. He had the choice but after a while he decided against it. Luffy is first of all his captain, he doesn't want to cross the line with him. Second, it's Luffy, not only is he more than aware of his captain habits the idea makes him physically sick. It may be rude but it's true. So he is keeping his label a secret. Especially when the rest of the crew are all normal.
Plus, at this point, after spending so long with the Heart Pirates their cake of a captain got taken by Law who is a fork. He thought the man didn't like bread because of the taste, turns out it's because of the texture. Especially when he can't taste anything, he hates the texture. Law had even gotten a pin for Luffy hat to mark Luffy as a taken cake. Which is a bit dangerous, as it's hard to notice 'forks' and 'cakes' unless announced. The pin is a large sign exposing their captain as a cake.
But it's Luffy and they all promised Law to protect him. An unnecessary promise. Of course they will protect him. They are nothing but a loyal crew.
Going back to Sanji predicament, he hates losing his taste. He's a chef with the knowledge of how to make something delicious, but being a damn fork is holding him back. And he knows. Sanji understands that fact more than anyone. At this point the only thing he can do now is pray that he meets his perfect cake. An idea Ivankov had told him during training.
How every fork has a perfect cake to match. Almost like soulmates but worse and more perverse. Crossing over the line of weird. Meeting them would help immensely. Sanji isn't so sure about that. One, he's a pirate. Two, what are the chances he'd meet his perfect match?
He has a system so he'll stick to it.
Even though at the moment, it's not working. It's bitten him in the ass.
He's glad he tests his recipes before hand, he's also always improving them and adding to his little recipe book. He technically doesn't need to taste anything as long as he follows the recipe but that's not how it works for him. He needs to know the food he's feeding the crew is perfect. How can he do that without tasting it.
He'll have to wait till the next island. It's all he can do. Well he can get a taste of Luffy but he's not crossing that line. Also, he wouldn't betray Law like that.
Sanji takes a step as he sets down a plate. He made a simple salad to offset the meat he made. He watches the crew eat, over analyzing everyone's reaction. They all seem to be eating normally. Making the same comment as always. Well not everyone says anything. The marimo is eating silently, stuffing his face like usual.
With everyone eating peacefully his heart slows down. Not worried about the taste. But already it's been a few days, he doesn't know how long he can go like this. A day or two is okay but more than that?
His mood then gets bad.
They get close to the island during their lunch. After Sanji finishes cleaning the dishes and kitchen he joins the crew he hears some of the crew asking Nami about the island. She has no real answer for them so they all wait till they are closer.
And when they do they all see the island is uninhabited. Something is Sanji breaks. Snaps. He can't believe it. He'll have to wait longer. He doesn't think he can. Because if he does he knows he won't find a cake that's worth it. But at this point he needs something. Even a lick would be okay but how's he going to get that when they are the only ones on the island!
Sanji huffs as he stomps his way forward. Ignoring the way Zoro turns around to give him a look. Zoro thinks about it for a minute, he can see the man has been in a shitty mood. He knows the blonde man doesn't want to be with him but it's odd for the blonde to not do his jelly dance after Nami ordered him to do something. The blonde should be nagging Zoro to hurry so he can be back at the Sunny. But Sanji just seems to be in a shitty mood, something they don't see from him often. Zoro turn away from the cook, no he should not ask, even if he does want to help he knows Sanji won't want it from him. He's going to focus on their task which is get supplies. They all are going, only in different directions. He of course is stuck with the cook.
Sanji forces some mushrooms into his backpack. Biting his lip, wanting a cigarette but it would be a waste as he can't taste it. He doesn't know what to do. The luckiest thing to happen for him would be the log pose set in a day and the next island is a day away but his luck so far hasn't been good.
"Cook!" Especially since he's of course stuck watching Zoro of all people he could have been teamed with.
"Cook!" He would have been okay with being stuck with Luffy.
"Cook!" He's not in the mood to deal with Zoro. "COOK!" With a vein popping on his forehead he twists around towards the marimo yelling at him only to be tackled by said person. He falls roughly on the grounds. The air being knocked out of his lungs. His eyes blur, unseeing.
For a second as his eyes focus to the sky above him. He feels Zoro weight on top of him. Zoro face then comes into view, eyebrows furrowed. With a deep sigh Zoro mouth move. But he can't hear anything. Zoro head then snaps to looks behind. Sanji can see a bit of red on Zoro shoulder blade. Zoro scrambles off him, to his feet.
"Hurry, we need to get back to the Sunny." Zoro demands, eyes narrow with annoyance. He rushes out out of view. Sanji slowly sits up to pause at the sight of two large animals. Bigger than most animals they've seen. They don't look happy. Zoro rushes to his backpack, quickly picking it up.
"Why not fight them off?" The blonde wonders.
"Are you an idiot? The things I picked will drop out." Zoro growls at him, eyes narrow into thin slits.
Getting his mind in gear Sanji scrambles to the backpack he was stuffing mushrooms in. He quickly puts it on, then gets to his feet. He takes a quick look around to see which direction the Sunny is in. "This way." Sanji says rushing forward. A second later he feels the marimo running alongside him. As they see the Sunny in place in the horizon they hear the familiar shrieking of Usopp, Chopper crying and their captain laughing. Turning their heads they can catch the color of their clothing between the green of the forest.
Zoro eyes the blue of Franky. He gets the glimpse of the shipwright running with his hands full. He then looks for Brook to see him running with free hands. That's good enough. Zoro rushes to Brook. "Hold this for me." Zoro says shrugging the backpack off then throwing it to Brook. Who is surprised at first but catches it. With nothing holding him back Zoro turns to fight.
"Zoro?" Half them call his name, but no one stops. They have a feeling he's stopping to fight. A second letter they hear the sound of him fighting.
Sanji jumps aboard taking his backpack off, setting it down as the others join, Nami and Robin stepping forward curious to what had them running and out of breath. Sanji rushes to join Zoro, helping him fight since he saved him, only to see he's done with the fight. The blonde watches as he sheathes his blade. Zoro turns to find the blonde there. The animals must have been scared off.
Zoro walks to the Sunny, easily seen from where they stood. The marimo gives him a quick glance, frowning at the blonde but continues his way.
Sanji takes a breath.
Waits a second.
Then turns to follow him back to the Sunny.
"No meat?" Luffy asks as Zoro jump's aboard.
"Not this time. They ran away before I could kill them. I'm sure you'll get a chance to eat them." Zoro says, voice light enough the blonde can tell he's smiling. "How long till the log pose sets?" Zoro questions.
Once Sanji feet land on the grass of the Sunny the blonde snaps his head to Nami, paying attention to her. "I say a day maybe. I'll see tomorrow." She answers looking at her wrist. Sanji heart sinks at the answer. He feels like he's going crazy. He already almost got mauled by a beast. He doesn't know how long he'll last.
But there are no other options.
"Zoro what happened?" Sanji hears Chopper shout worried. The blonde doesn't hear the rest as he brings some of the backpacks into the kitchen to sort through.
He's deep in thought. Trying not to think too much but that's so hard when he can't taste anything. Especially as the chef of the straw hat crew. He knows Luffy doesn't care. He remembers what Luffy told his Judge. What he thought are his flaws are, to his captain, the best things about him. But what if he were to know about this? Would Luffy still want him on the crew if he knew? Would they get a chef who can taste?
Not realizing Sanji starts on diner. Cooking always calm him down even if he can't taste anything. His hands move even if he doesn't actively think it. It's all muscle memory.
The worst part is he can faintly remember what everything taste like, it's on the tip of his tongue. But every hour that passes he forgets. Who ever think about remembering what food taste like? Because he can't taste he's not even sure he feels hungry. It always brings back memories. Horrible memories of that damn rock, starving but his taste is fading. He can barely taste that moldy bread but damn can he recall the texture.
On instinct he sticks a spoon of the mushroom he's cooking into his mouth to see if he's seasoned it correctly. He shakes his head, to get rid of those memories and at the fact he can't even- Sanji moves his tongue around his mouth.
He can taste it.
He can taste more than the mixture he put on the mushrooms. It's something else that's mind blowingly good. A taste he wants to recreate. But he doesn't even know where it came from. What's it from? He turns off the heat. Going to the bowl of washed mushrooms. He cut half the amount. He doesn't need them all for the stew he's planning to make. He sorts them out finding some are a bit pinkish. He remembers those. Zoro's blood had gotten on them so he washed them not thinking to much on it but...
It can't be can it? When Zoro has saved him he caught a whiff of the marimo. He didn't think much of it at the time. He smells things all the time. Being a fork doesn't affect that. But when Zoro walked past him after scaring the beasts off he thought it was weird but he almost felt like he tasted Zoro. After all taste is in the smell of food too. It's not all of it but at least thirty percent.
Did he really taste Zoro?
Is Zoro a cake?
Sanji starts again with the mushrooms, putting them aside for himself later, especially the pink tinted mushrooms.
He's about done with the stew when the others begin to come into the galley. Chopper is still with Zoro. He wonders if there's a way to test it?
There is. He's got to lick Zoro. But he can't go up to him and do it.
Sanji is desperate at this point. He may not like the marimo but it's better than not tasting anything. He needs to try to see if that's true then convince Zoro to help him. They are not on the best of terms. He can't blame the green haired man. Sanji is only over the childish behavior at the moment because he's desperate and Zoro is his savior at this point. There's no other out. They have a whole night but Nami isn't sure the log pose would even set tomorrow. It could be a week they are stuck here. There's no way of knowing on an island with no locals to tell them.
Chopper comes out as dinner is coming to an end. Giving a quick explanation as to why it took so long. He has to be very careful as he stitched the claw mark on Zoro shoulder. It wasn't deep so it won't scar but it was long. Sanji looks away, feeling bad.
He knows how the marimo feels about his back. A mark on the back is a swordsman shame.
He's sitting on the couch when Zoro finally comes out. Chopper had given him some antibiotics so the wound wouldn't get infected, but Zoro being Zoro Chopper knows the swordsman immune system. Chopper needed to bump him full of those antibiotics. In doing so Zoro fell asleep.
"Wait at the table." Sanji tells the marimo who looks half asleep. Sanji pours some stew into a large bowl knowing the marimo must be hungry. Luckily he made a lot. It helped he didn't touch it. He had made himself something else with those mushrooms he saved. It felt so good to taste again.
The cook watches as Zoro stuff his face. Does he have no manners? Yes. But it's almost endearing how he always stuffs his face full, cheeks stretching like some sort of squirrel or chipmunk. The swordsman may say the cooks food is shit but he eats like that every single time. And now because he's watching so closely he can see the way his eyes are bright. Happy, if Sanji were to guess.
It makes Sanji heart warm.
Zoro comes to awareness as he eats the last of the stew. Sanji takes the empty bowl to wash it off. He becomes aware of the silence. Zoro hasn't left. Which is good but it's unnerving. The blonde was expecting to embarrass himself by asking the green haired man to stay so they can talk. It seem the walking plant wants to talk to him.
His heart rate quickens when he hears Zoro get up. "Cook." His nickname is called. Zoro is standing to his side. Sanji places the bowl to the side to air dry. He dries his hand with a towel, slowly turning to the first mate. Finding the other man standing with his arms crossed over his chest, eyes narrow, serious. Sanji finds himself hunching in on himself. Zoro tense shoulders relax seeing the blondes reaction. His eyes widen for a second. He decides to go for it, no use stalling. "What's wrong with you?"
Sanji was not expecting that. He sort of thought Zoro would be mad with him. So dumbly he says "huh?" His back straightening as he looks Zoro in the eye.
Zoro eyes narrow once again. "Today, you didn't hear or sense those beast coming closer. You're usually more aware." He points out, and Sanji has no counter argument for that. It's true. The question is should he tell Zoro the truth? Would he be mad? Scared? Untrusting? "What's wrong with you? You're usually not so distracted, it could have been bad if someone else was with you." Sanji looks away. The marimo makes a fair point. If say... Usopp was with him, the sniper would have been hurt worse. Nami? Sanji couldn't live with himself if something were to happen to her.
But can he say it?
If he doesn't then how will he get the chance to see if Zoro is really a cake? He already can tell the taste in his mouth is fading. Those mushroom were not enough to last long. He can't tell if it's because blood doesn't have a lasting effect or it's because he washed and cooked it.
"Cook, I'm not leaving until you tell me." Zoro tone is firm. He's not going to back down. As first mate his job is to protect and watch the crew where Luffy can't. This seems to be one of those times.
"I'm a fork." Sanji announces, looking at Zoro challenging, daring him to be an asshole. He's so glad everyone has gone to bed. Even Chopper is bunking in the boys room because Zoro had taken his. Of course no fault in Zoro as he's the patient.
"Mmm." Zoro hums. Sanji stares at the marimo dumbfounded. That's it?
"That's it?" He asks. Zoro raises a thin eyebrow at him, staring at him as if Sanji told him he likes cooking.
"Law is a fork too. Vivi was too. Perona. Marco. We've met so many already." Zoro shrugs his shoulder.
"You don't care?" Sanji wonders.
"What does it have to do with me?" Zoro tilts his head. Sanji takes a step back, eyes wide. Unbelieving. A stiff chuckles passes his parted lips. Does the idiot not know he's a cake?
To be fair, cakes never know their cake until a fork licks them. They can live their lives normally.
"Have you told Chopper?" Zoro wonders, calm.
"What? Why?" Sanji asks confused, especially when that is being said by Zoro, the man who never tells Chopper when he's injured. Like a cat afraid of water.
"Vivi got help from Chopper." Zoro says. Sanji blinks. She did? He didn't know. He's always kept that hidden. The others from the Baratie also don't know. Just Zeff. Honestly, now that it's out in the open, it feels good. "Is that why you were so mad today? You lost taste?" Zoro wonders uncrossing his arms. Since he knows what's wrong he's less insistent. He thought the blonde would keep it hidden but he's relaxed now that he knows.
"Yeah. After getting a taste of cake my taste comes back for a while. I usually plan these things a head but the storm..." Sanji rubs the back of his head, sheepish about talking about this. Being a fork was always so private like sex. Now he's talking about it to someone. Specifically to Zoro.
"Mmm." Zoro grunts as he stare at the blonde. He knows the cook enjoys cooking, can't imagine not being to taste. It's like if he couldn't hold his swords. Or train. The storm may have delayed them but the fact doesn't change this island has no one but them on it. Zoro knows nothing about how this cake and fork thing work but it must not be easy on forks. He's seen Law. Perona. Vivi. They all seemed so happy tasting again. Vivi more open about it. He does understand why the blonde would hide it but it's not his place to ask more. At this point in time it doesn't matter. "I'd help if I could..." Zoro mutters. He turns his head to think. He knows Luffy isn't an option. They also don't have any other cakes on the crew so the only plan is to wait for civilization. "If it bothers you this much I could tell the others to let you be. And when we get to an island with people I could help you escape to do... what it is you do." Zoro suggest to Sanji.
The blonde can only stare wide eyed with his mouth parted at Zoro. He's known Zoro is like this, kind, especially to those on the crew. He may not look it but he's got a gentle heart, a warm soul, a healing personality. Zoro always does what's best for the crew, for Luffy, even at the expense of himself. Sanji doesn't want to exploit him but how different would it be from using all those other women? He usually goes to cake houses, a place forks can go into and use any cake they are physically attracted to. It's not just that, there are many cake services for forks.
"Let me lick you!" Sanji shouts, getting a head of himself and getting excited. The idea of tasting a cake has conditioned him to get excited.
"What?" Zoro stare at the blonde as if he's grown another head.
Sanji takes a deep breath, he needs to calm himself. He's lucky Zoro doesn't have his swords strapped to his waist at the moment. "Zoro I think you are cake." Sanji tells the green haired man.
Zoro blinks. "You've gone crazy."
"I haven't. And if I have you'd be the last person to know." He says. Zoro looks away cause fairpoint. "Please. I just want a taste." Sanji pleads. Curly eyebrow furrowed, blue eyes wide. Lips tight. Zoro stares at the blonde. He's never seen the blonde like this before. He must be desperate, he can't imagine what's it like. Plus he knows the cook wouldn't want anything to do with him if the blonde can help it. The last person he'd want to be so close to is Zoro. Plus it's just a lick. The cook will lick him, not taste anything then stay far away from him, being horrified he licked the swordsman.
It's just a lick. "Fine." Zoro agrees. Sanji brightens, then gets closer. Instinctively Zoro walks back. Unable to look away as Sanji follows him. There's a hungry look in the cooks eye, he's never seen before. He is unsure how to feel about it.
Then his mind blanks as his back hits the wall, with no place to go he can only watch as Sanji gets closer. He places a hand up, it lands on the blondes chest. Just resting there as he doesn't push the other man away. Sanji doesn't stop until he's very close, they are not flush against each other but close. Sanji had places his hands on either side of Zoro head, boxing him in. Sanji eye makes him look more like a predator, deadly and on the hunt, not letting his prey go. Zoro isn't sure what to do, never once been in this position and he can't seem to look away from the blonde. Never once has he seen the cook be like this.
He's like a whole new person.
Feeling like his heart might jump out his chest Zoro looks away. Sanji looks down to Zoro neck, looking more like a ripe fruit. Sanji moves his head forward. Zoro involuntarily shutters at the feeling of the blondes breath against his heated skin. Sanji feel the shutter but doesn't take note of it. Instead he swallows the lump in his throat.
This is it.
Sanji gives a tentative lick. Zoro makes a noise, blushing as he catches it but Sanji pays no mind because...
ZORO TASTE SO GOOD!
Why? Sanji is sure he's never tasted someone like this. He presses the whole flat of his tongue on Zoro shoulder, swiping all the way until he meets his jaw line.
"Nngh, c-cook." Zoro says face red, eyebrows furrow. He's never had someone, first of all be this close (besides Luffy) or lick him. Is his skin supposed to tingle?
Sanji pushes himself backward. Eyes unbelieving, now taking in Zoro face. He's very red, Sanji wants more but he thinks he should stop here. "You're... a cake." He says sounding upset about it. He leaves the swordsman in the galley. Going to his bunk.
He has a lot to think about.
Sanji doesn't get much thinking.
He does learn a few things. Licking only last a day. Licking blood from the source last two- four days give or take, depends how much he consumes. Sanji also learns that the better tasting a cake is the better he tastes as a fork. Not once has he ever felt his taste buds taste this much before. It's like he's opened his third eye.
And during then he is unable of looking at Zoro. The marimo feeling the same. It doesn't help that they were on that island for a week.
Sanji inhales his cigarette, breathing out through his nose. He next island on the horizon. He looks up to the crows nest. He hasn't talked to Zoro since... he walked in to the swordsman bursting his stitches from training. At the time it had been two days since he licked Zoro so his taste was gone. He took Zoro blood into his mouth. Zoro stayed quiet as he dragged the man to Chopper. He says talked but not much was said. Chopper forced him to rest more before he goes training. Chopper stuck to him the whole time so he wasn't able to say much, but Zoro could not look at him. So they've stayed away from each other.
He doesn't know how to feel about that. Did he not like that. In retrospect what he did was weird.
Sanji turns away. Maybe now would be a good time to think.
Zoro watches as the crew leave. He watches, specifically, the blonde walking away. He lets out a breath, hunched over, leaning on the back of the couch in the crows nest. He relaxes as they leave the Sunny to explore.
He's been worried about having to be around Sanji. Zoro is not upset with Sanji. He agreed to let Sanji lick him. The blonde asked and pleaded, how could he say no to that. He of course was willing to help his crew mate. It was really bothering the blonde. He looks better now.
He's so embarrassed about his own reaction to what Sanji had done. It was just a lick! But the noises he made were too much. He's never made voices like before. He didn't know he could. Then there was the blood incident. It felt as good as when the blonde licked his neck. He was too stunned to speak. He could not wrap his head around the fact his body was tingling, in a good way, to it.
He prides himself on his self control, knowing everything about his own body, he understands himself. This shows he doesn't know his body as much as he thought. He doesn't know what to do about it.
But maybe there's no need to think about it any longer. He just agreed to help until they get to an island with people on it. They won't have much to do with each other after this. To think he's a cake. It's still unbelievable. But why would he know?
He should get over it. Sanji has it much worse than he does. For now he should watch the blonde when they are at sea. It's amazing this hasn't become more of a problem with how long they've been at sea.
He does want something like that to happen again.
It shouldn't happen again though, he'll make sure of it.
Even if he does embarrass himself.
Sanji huffs a breath. His eyebrows furrow. He kicks a can in frustration. The crew is leaving today and the blonde hasn't heard if the next island has people on it or not. It's been three days of being on this island and so far he hasn't gotten a good... cake. He doesn't know why but who ever it is just isn't scratching the itch. No matter how beautiful the lady is no one's the flavor he wants.
It doesn't help the flavors are all wrong, once again. It also feels like they aren't lasting as long as they should. A normal session where he indulges in pleasure and tasting the cake for hours is already fading away. It should last a week. Even just now, he just left seeing another cake. It hasn't been an hour at least and taste is already slipping.
It wasn't like this...
He's not going to finish that thought. Every time he does he thinks about what Ivonkov told him. His "soulmate" as the other put it. If that is true then his is Zoro. He doesn't know how he feels about it. He's grateful for the help, he truly is. Without the marimo he would have gone honestly insane but he didn't.
But the taste of Zoro... no one should taste that good. Blood should not taste that good. He should not want to push Zoro against the wall and lick every ridge or crevice on the man. The worst part, the desire he's truly hiding is the want to bite him, his neck, thigh, or anywhere else the blonde wants.
He shouldn't want more. After all it's a one time thing. Zoro was just helping him.
A chime catches his attention. He looks over and his heart stops. After days of avoiding each other he didn't expect too accidentally see the marimo. He walk out the store with a small bag, a grin on his face. He's in a good mood.
The blonde heart jumps out his throat when they make eye contact. He looks away thinking about what to do. He doesn't want to be rude but he's not ready yet. He has no idea how to act now. There's no going back. Sanji takes a peak to Zoro, wondering what he's thinking, but he finds the spot empty. Surprised the blonde turns his head back and forth searching for the marimo. He easily spots him walking away. Not sure where he's going considering Sunny is in the other direction but maybe the swordsman has something else to do. He highly doubts it but he'll give the other man the benefit of the doubt.
Still seeing the marimo ignore him so blatantly makes Sanji heart hurt. So without much thought the blonde rushes forward, grabbing hold of the other man's arm. "Hey!" Sanji calls him. He twists Zoro around glaring at the other man. Zoro just blinks at him, confusion written on his face. "Why are you ignoring me?"
Zoro mouth open, he takes a deep breath in, looking offended. "You're the one who's been ignoring me for the last three days." Zoro frowns himself. Huffing as he shakes his arm out of the blondes clutch.
Sanji stare wide eyed, "what?" He takes a step back.
"The last three days, you're the one who stays away. I did ignore you before but not recently. That's all you." Zoro says.
"Oh." Sanji says. Zoro does seem fine. His mind is a mess so without really thinking his mouth moves. "Can I taste you?" Sanji cringes on the inside but it's already been asked and he can't say he's regrets it.
"What?"
"Please?"
"I thought... why? Aren't we on an... island?" Zoro says slow and low. A pink tint growing on his cheeks and the blonde wants to bite it. He looks so confused with his eyebrows furrowed, his lips pursed together in an almost pout. It looks... cute. And delicious.
"I know but they don't taste good like you." Sanji answers honestly, taking in Zoro. He's wearing a jacket, his belly band, his usual black pants and matching boot. He's got a good view of his chest, neck and abbs. Something in his brain is not working because he's trying so hard NOT to push Zoro down and ravish him.
What's wrong with him?
"Huh? I... taste good?" Zoro questions dumbly, looking at Sanji with wide eyes then look away. Once again entering new territory, unsure what to do or say, even act.
"Yes. Very good. It's... so different from others." Sanji says, a bit desperate at the idea of being able to taste Zoro again.
"Are you sure cook? This doesn't seem like a good idea." Zoro voices stepping back. He thought this was going to be a one time thing so this is very unexpected. With Sanji ignoring him he thought to take that as a hint to go back to normal. He gave Sanji the space he wants.
"I'm sure." Sanji answers nodding excitedly. He doesn't think he'd want something so bad.
"Here." Zoro cranes his neck to the side for Sanji to lick. The blonde, as if possessed, places both hands on the other shoulders, leaning closer. As soon as the tip of his nose touches Zoro's heated skin, he can smell the man. Now, Sanji has never paid much attention to how the swordsman smells but is he suppose to smell this good? Almost... sweet, and not in a bad way. He smells good. Enticing. His mouth waters.
A child laughing snaps him out of it. He can't do it here. Not in the open. But where to go? The only real choice is back to the Sunny. "Let's go." Sanji grabs Zoro's hand and jogs them to the ship.
"What? Where?" Zoro let's the blonde tug him around. Taking note of the pace, the strength in his grip, and his silence. Sanji is very serious. Zoro can't help but raise an eyebrow at the blonde. He can't pretend to understand so he won't, but he does wonder if this is serious?
Before being on this crew and meeting Sanji, Zoro never once thought about the taste of his food. He was just happy to be able to eat something. Especially when he was younger, when eating was more scarce. Now it's not much of a problem. Even now, he doesn't pay much attention to the flavor of food. All he knows it that's it's better than what he's use to. That's it for him. That's enough for him.
Sanji's mind is racing. He's unsure what to do if the crew are one the Sunny, but considering the time of day he has to assume everyone is gone and not on the Sunny. Exploring for the last time. Getting some much needed supplies. Or just walking considering they don't know how far away the next island is.
When they do make it the Sunny and find it empty Sanji let's a relieved chuckle out. To Zoro is came out as manic. For a second the swordsman thought: the cooks lost it. But Zoro doesn't fight it. If he can help Sanji he doesn't mind being the center of his craze. He remembers the last island. Sanji was so... different. Unusual. It was so off. Sanji wasn't himself. Some instinct in Zoro screamed at him to fix it. Sanji is the cook of the crew, as much as he pisses the marimo off he's integral to the crew. Whatever is wrong needs to be fixed.
As soon as the door to the galley closes Sanji is on Zoro. Slamming the much muscled man against the door. Zoro lets out a grunt but otherwise let it be. Pushing the marimo's jacket off his shoulder for better access. Sanji runs the flat of his tongue all of Zoro's neck. Tasting the man. How is he both sweet and sour? Sanji groans at the taste. It's so good. He doesn't know why he didn't just go to the marimo in the first place. He holds Zoro close even as he squirms in his arms.
"Cook!" Zoro shouts, sounding breathless. Sanji snaps out of it. Looking up to Zoro. His face once again red. "I want to put my things down." Zoro says.
"Oh." Sanji says breathless. For a split second he thought Zoro was going to tell him to stop. He wouldn't know what he would have done if that were the case. He takes deep breaths. His mind more clear than before now that he's had a good taste. He watches as Zoro sets his small brown paper back down on the table. Then he carefully sets his swords leaning against the edge of the table. Sanji feels his fingertips tingle with need. He wants to hurry and get back to it. Taking a good looks at Zoro from head to toe, there's so much untasted skin. He wants it all.
Zoro turns back to Sanji, he opens his arms, with a nod he says, "do what you want." he says stilted. Of course he's never told anyone that in regards to his own body.
Sanji let's a low rumble from the back of his throat, stepping forward as be strips from his blazer. With one less layer he feels less warm. "Don't go saying things you'll regret." Sanji steps closer. Zoro takes a step back, those predatory eyes are back. It makes Zoro flight or fight response go in overdrive. Zoro leans back, eyes on Sanji cause he's not so weak that he wouldn't meet the others eye, as the blonde leans into his space. Hands on the table behind the marimo.
The blonde takes a moment to looks down at Zoro. The man seems much smaller like this, even though they are the same height. Sanji looks further down, past the other man's face, his exposed chest for all to see. The way his clavicle juts out, pooling with abit of sweat. The roundness of his breasts. Soft and looking like they are smooth to the touch. Going much further Sanji feels something in his gut stir at the sight of Zoro's chest shadowing his abbs. The belly band hiding the rest from his eyes but that's okay. He is already enjoying the sight at the moment.
Without another word Sanji dives in. Licking his shoulder up to his neck. Then going straight down his clavicle giving it a nibble. The bone asking to be teased. Sanji then licks down going in between the valley of Zoro's chest.
Sanji doesn't pay much attention to the way Zoro shutters as each breath he does against tan skin. Barely registers the gasps that Zoro tries to hide. The cook just continues to push, only stopping when Zoro is laying flat on the table, Sanji flush on top of him. Sanji slides a hand down Zoro's side, through his clothes until he reaches Zoro's thigh, moving it away so the blonde can slide in between parted legs and get closer. He can feel Zoro tremble, or is that him?
Zoro mind goes blank, the feeling of Sanji tongue on his skin is something he doesn't think he'll ever get use to. Something so wet but a little rough on his skin but soft at the same time, makes his body burn, in a good way. He assumes. He doesn't hate it but it's so new. He bites his lips trying to keep those new noises from escaping but he can't help it when Sanji scraps his teeth. Especially when he licks, nibbles and scraps his teeth on his scar. His body vibrates.
The cook just continues to lick what he can. Tasting what he wants. Slowly making his way up. To Zoro's surprise the blonde kisses him. Sanji pulls back, seeing the marimo stare at him with wide eyes. Sanji licks his lips. "Delicious." Sanji says then dives in again. Tasting the flavor of Zoro's mouth. It's better than just licking his body.
Oh boy.
Sanji takes in anything Zoro lets outs. Kissing the marimo breathless.
Sanji leans on his elbows against the railing of Sunny. Eyes on the dark horizon. Waiting for the sun to come up.
He breaths the smoke out of his nostrils as he slowly turns his head down to look at his rough hands. Feeling his own callouses. Though that's not what's on his mind. After so long he can still feel Zoro's body against his, the firmness, the heat. He can also feel Zoro's body in his hands. The firmness but softness of the marimo thigh in his hand, the wideness of hips, the curve of ass. Sanji had copped a feel of Zoro's ass and he must say it was very good. Round, firm but soft and a lot of it. Sanji never noticed before but now he can find himself looking more often. Getting a look for himself.
It doesn't help Zoro's clothes don't bring it to attention, some of Zoro's outfits hide his hips and ass but that's okay.
It has been two weeks since he ravished Zoro on the dining table. Sanji is getting more and more convinced that Zoro is his... destined cake. Two weeks and he can still taste. Which is very good and he's happy about it but now, there's something else wrong with him. He can't get Zoro out of his mind. He also wants to ravish Zoro more. Even though he's okay. He wants more. To go further than he already has.
But he knows he shouldn't. First is tests. See how long he can taste. He had talked to Zoro about it. Zoro shrugged it off not minding. But he looked the blonde in the eyes serious that if he can't handle it anymore that he can go to him. His heart race at the permission.
And it's not so much like last time. They have passed an island or two and he never once wanted to taste another cake as he was out. But as soon as he sees Zoro he wants to taste him. He's holding himself back. He wants to see how long he'll last.
For research.
Sanji jumps in his skin at the sound of someone on the grass next to him. He hears the glatter of sword scabbards. His heart races. He was just thinking of the man and now he's here. It's still to early for everyone to wake up and come to eat breakfast. Sanji, not wanting to anger Zoro considering their circumstances Sanji turns to Zoro to greet him politely.
He pauses with his mouth open, the look in Zoro's eyes is serious. But not at the blonde. Feeling the hairs on the back of his neck rice he knows Zoro is in battle mode. They have an enemy. Zoro must have been in the crows nest then. Sanji gets ready himself. Pushing the thought away the blonde focuses on the fight.
Sanji does pause, wondering if they should wake the others up but thinks against it. With them both he's sure they can handle whatever happens.
Not long after do they spot a ship in the distance.
As they wait for it to get closer they hear the sound of cannon fire from the ship. They feel it comes closer to them. The two get ready to move out the way but from the direction and angle they both know it's not going to hit them. They watch it pass over head, landing in the middle of the deck. It doesn't explode like a bomb or the usual cannonball. It explodes into a ball of smoke. Sanji looks at the ship then back down. Did they miss? Was that it?
"What is that smell?" Zoro frowns, covering his nose with his hand. Sanji snaps his attention to the marimo. He takes a whiff but he doesn't smell anything. That's odd.
"I don't-" Sanji shakes his head only to pause at the sight of Zoro eyes rolling back, his body falling limp. He falls on his side, the opposite side of where his swords are. Sanji eyes widen. What just happened? "Zoro!" Sanji shouts getting closer to him. He shakes him but the man doesn't stir which is not Zoro at all. He always wakes up at the hint of danger, Sanji can say this is dangerous.
"Zoro!" Sanji shouts shake him hard. It doesn't work. "Chopper!" Sanji shouts. "Chopper!" Sanji shouts again checking to see if Zoro is okay. He looks fine, if anything he looks like he fell asleep. He takes a few breathes, trying to smell what Zoro did but it doesn't smell any different. If whatever Zoro smelled is toxic and dangerous then why isn't he affected? It happen to them at the same time so why is he fine?
"What's wrong?" Usopp comes out rubbing his eyes. Franky, Brook and Luffy behind him.
"What's with the shouting?" Nami wonders angrily.
"Chopper!" Sanji shouts seeing the little doctor walk out the galley, tired.
"What happ-?"
"It's Zoro he just fainted." Sanji tells him. Chopper shakes off his sleepiness, rushing to them.
"It smells funny." Luffy says.
"That's what Zoro said." Sanji says looking at their captain, in time to see Luffy faint himself.
"Luffy!" They all shout.
"Smell? I don't smell anything."
"Zoro smelled this too?"
"It smells like the sea."
"What's going on?"
"The ship." Sanji lays Zoro down and stands looking over to the ship. It's much closer now.
"Enemy!" Usopp screeches.
"This is bad." Sanji clenches his teeth. He looks over to their captain. Then over to their swordsman. He's the only heavy hitter on the crew left at the moment.
"Interesting." A deep unfamiliar voice says. The crew look around as the person chuckles. "There are two in the crew." He says clearer now. The crew look over to the railing to spot a man in black standing. His black hair crazy but it's his orange eyes that stand out. He's not looking at either of them, but the two on the floor passed out.
Sanji thinks over the man's words. Only Luffy and Zoro. What do the two have in common?
Well both are idiots. Idiots with a one track mind. It's funny how similar the two are in some aspects.
Though Zoro is more serious about things than Luffy. Others times he's just as childish.
Going back on track, there's only one thing that those two share that someone would actually want. Their bounty, title and...
Sanji jumps forward getting in front of Luffy. Guarding the captain on the floor. He turns to the random man to find, much to his surprise Zoro in his arms. The man shoves his nose onto Zoro neck. "He smells much sweeter than your captain." He says giving Zoro a tentative lick. Sanji blood boils and he almost sees red but...
"You can... smell him?" Sanji asks the man.
"Of course, most forks can. Since we've lost one sense our other senses get stronger. Training hard to smell a cake. Thank you for the meal." The man shines his teeth in a not so nice smirk.
In the next second he's gone, leaving Zoro swords behind. Sanji stands there dumbfounded, along with the rest of the crew for a different t reason. While the crew is shocked about Zoro being a cake Sanji has no idea why he was guarding Luffy. He should have been guarding his cake.
His cake was taken. Sanji steps up ready to get to the ship and get Zoro back.
"Zoro's a cake?" Chopper and Usopp question.
"Of course we wouldn't know. I might be unheard of for the swordsman himself. We don't even know if he knows." Robin points out. Sanji jumps away from them, not willing to waste time to stand around and make guesses.
SOMEONE TOOK HIS CAKE!
He's wasn't going to stand around and let it be. Sure Luffy is their captain but they have a whole crew, it wasn't just Luffy who was compromised. Zoro was too. Half should have helped Zoro and the other half should have protected Luffy. Zoro isn't... the swordsman would have told them to prioritize the captain. That doesn't mean they just let him be taken so easily. They all got stronger and for what? They couldn't protect Zoro. A crew mate. A crew mate who did so much, sacrificed so much.
Once he lands on the deck of the ship he takes a second to be horrified. They have many people in chains around their necks. Not slaves because these collars are not as large. They do not look comfortable though and these people in the collars don't look happy, are well taken care of.
Sanji looks around trying to find Zoro, even going as far as trying to smell him but it doesn't work. There's to much going on here he can't pinpoint Zoro scent. Every time he tries to think about the marimo scent all he can think about is how he tastes.
Sanji gets desperate when more time passes. If he takes too long then Zoro can be in serious trouble. From the looks of these people they are not ones who would ask for consent. And that worries Sanji so the blonde goes on a rampage looking for Zoro. Beating anyone who gets in his way.
It doesn't take long to find Zoro. In the captain's room. Finding Zoro presented on the table as if he's an actual meal. They have stripped Zoro of his boots and jacket, which is mostly what the other man was wearing considering he was in the crows nest before this happened.
The captain is understandably surprised by the sudden appearance of Sanji. The blonde doesn't care. Also doesn't care to ask what his business is. He beats the shit out of the man. Then takes Zoro in him arms. As he leaves he spots the man who took him in the first place. He gets a beating too.
He's back on the Sunny finding Chopper and Franky the only ones here. The two tell the blonde after he left without warning the others decided to follow the blonde, taking mini merry to get there. They must have passed each other. Sanji isn't sure what they do as Sanji stays with Chopper who check on the captain and first mate.
He's there until they come back. They look rough. Not battle worn but just emotional. Robin happily inform them that the cakes will wake up naturally. The gas only works on them and it does nothing but make them sleep.
Then they explain what those men are doing. No surprise it's horrible. Stealing cakes from islands. Ripping them away from their families. Ripping cakes that already have forks. Killing anyone who gets in their way. Using them as their personal slaves. Doing what they want. Nami especially helped them get out of their situation. Sanji made it easier with his earlier ruckus.
They were helped. Sanji is glad to hear that. Now time to worry about Zoro. The others know. He's unsure what Zoro will feel when he's awake.
"Food!"
Hearing one word being shouted they understood that their captain is awake. Not a second layer does Luffy rush to the galley smelling the food. Lucky for the rest of the crew they have eaten their breakfast.
With Luffy seated and munching on his food the crew patiently wait for Zoro to come in.
They do not wait long. Zoro walks in stretching. He takes a look over everyone, looks like the crew wasn't in trouble with the enemy. Though he doesn't know how to feel about fainting. Though he can't do much about it now. Zoro sits down at his usual seat and piles food on his plate.
He's about to start eating when he notice the only one not staring at him is Luffy. Even the cook is watching from where he is in the kitchen. "What?" Zoro eyes narrow, one hand protecting his plate from Luffy.
"Zoro..." Chopper starts.
"Did you know?" Robin wonders.
"Huh?" Zoro raises an eyebrow. No clue to what they are talking about.
"You're a cake." Brook says clearly.
"Is that so?" Zoro questions mockingly as he focus on his food.
"You didn't know?" Usopp asks visibly shocked.
"I did not. What's it matter?" Zoro asks glaring at the crew.
"Nothing wrong with it Zoro." Luffy slaps Zoro shoulder roughly, Zoro doesn't flinch.
Zoro lets a huff, turning to his plate. Keeping himself cool. He doesn't know how they found out but it's true, it doesn't matter. He can still fight. He can always ask the blonde what the hell happened but that can wait until they are in private.
While Sanji calms his heart. For a second he was worried Zoro would tell them the truth. He's glad he didn't but feels guilty he thought so low of Zoro. The man isn't a gossip. He's very trustworthy. Sanji should trust him more.
Zoro waits or the galley to empty before walking in himself. A bit sweaty from a workout as he wait. He walks in to Sanji cleaning. He stands by the door waiting, watching the blonde. Should he asks? He doesn't want to disturb the cook.
"Marimo." Sanji calls without looking.
"What happened with the ship? Why do they know?" Zoro asks, not wanting to beat around the bush.
"The ship was taken care of. The smoke only affects cakes so that's how they guessed." Sanji answers honestly. Zoro lets out a grunt, the cook could hear it as his way of thanks. The swordsman turns, walking out the galley to resume his workout.
When the door closes the cook lets out a breath. He instantly knew who had walked in. The marimo sweating intensified his smell. His desire is getting stronger. He doesn't know how long he can hold it off. Even last night it was odd how strongly he was determined to safe Zoro. He knows why. As much as Zoro tastes good at the moment the blonde knows he'll taste even better in the height of pleasure. Sanji wants to so badly ravish Zoro.
He's also afraid to do so.
If he does he feels like he's crossing a line he won't be able to uncross. The unknown scares him. Zoro doesn't seem to know or get that Sanji is in this sort of turmoil.
Maybe he should take a page from Zoro book, ask questions when he wants to know something. But Sanji is too nervous to do so.
"What's with you?" Zoro asks standing by the blonde side at a stall. Sanji jumps in his skin. Looking at the swordsman then around to where he is. Coming to reality as he was so deep in thought.
"Nothing."
"Right, I won't push then." Zoro says looking away.
"How..." Sanji starts but pauses unsure why he should ask? It works for them. Whatever this is between them. Why should he know more?
Does he want to know more about the marimo? Sanji peaks over to Zoro. The man standing there like he usually does when he's forced to do this. Zoro isn't a bad person. He's very kind. At times he's gentle. He's strong and prideful, but he doesn't boast like some others do. Zoro's humble that way.
He wouldn't mind getting to know Zoro.
"What do you think of me?" Sanji wonders. Zoro snaps his head to the blonde.
"What? Why do you care?" Zoro asks eyes narrow.
"I can't know you further?" Sanji rhetorically wonders rolling his eyes. "I thought it'd be less awkward this way."
The two stand in silence. What Sanji had just said hanging in the air.
"You are not bad cook. But I still find how you treat women annoying as hell." Zoro says looking away with a humph.
Sanji smiles, that's an actual compliment coming from the marimo. "You're not so bad either." Sanji tell him watching Zoro eyes widen, slowly the swordsman turns his head to look at the blonde. Sanji feels his heart skip at the sight of the others ears a bright red. Sanji blinks. Cute. Sanji lets out a laugh.
"Hey!" Zoro exclaims as Sanji continues to laugh.
They make small talk as they continue to talk. Actually talk to each other. They make fun of each other like always but not as venomous as it usually is. Sanji found himself enjoying their time together. He caught himself deeply laughing. Enjoying listening to Zoro talking. Felt his heart fluttering at Zoro smiling.
They talked nonsense, wondering what their life would be like if they didn't meet Luffy. Discussed what their favorite islands are so far. Islands they want to visit again. What they did as training. Times seem to elude them. Before they knew it they had spent the whole afternoon talking to each other.
By the time Sanji can no longer taste anything he knew he felt something towards the swordsman. He didn't want to label it love just yet. That, to him, is scary. He's use to lusting after women. He loves women. To be feeling this way about a man is odd. And way too to fast to develop so it can't be love. But he doesn't think he lusts after Zoro either.
Maybe he is now finding out how good of a companion the swordsman is. That's all it is.
Sanji uses the excuse of snack time to go into the crows nest to hand the swordsman a snack, and get a small taste himself. Like always he walks inside to find Zoro working out, not unusual, but for some reason his nose catches the stench of him. Sweet, not like how is was before Sanji learned Zoro is a cake. Sanji takes a moment to look at Zoro, eyes roaming the others body.
Taking note of the way his tan skin shine. Droplets of sweat sliding sensually down his body. Some stopping in divots of muscle. Sanji blue eye follows a drop until it drops onto the floor. Sanji swallows the lump in his throat. Zoro look like a quality steak in front of him, and Sanji knows he'll taste good.
Zoro must have heard him, or he's finished as he moves to get to his feet. Sanji catches sight of the still healing beast claw mark. It's a bit pink but it's better than it once was. That helping him clear his head. Sanji still feels guilty about it. Though Zoro doesn't seem to care.
"Cook." Zoro calls him though it's not in his typical taunting tone. Sanji smiles at him, walking to the bench.
"A snack but the taste is gone in my mouth." Sanji tells him jumping into it. Zoro nods, wiping his face with a towel.
"Can you wait tonight or-"
"Right now."
"Now?" Zoro asks, eyes growing to the size of saucers.
"Yeah." Sanji nods getting closer to Zoro.
"Ah... sure." Zoro nods, he never really cared where they did it as long as he was helping the cook. Sanji pulls Zoro flush against him, Zoro putting his arms on Sanji arms, tilting his back away a bit from Sanji to see his face.
Zoro squeaks as the blonde drags him closer to the couch then pushes him down to sit down. Zoro looks up at the blonde clueless to what's going on, what is the blonde doing? Sanji doesn't waste a second to get on top of Zoro, going straight for a kiss. Licking the other man's lip who understands the invitation opening his parted lips to get the blonde tongue down his throat. Sanji drinks up Zoro reaction to it. His moans sounding odd coming from Zoro but sweet nonetheless.
Sanji feels Zoro putting his arms around his hips, pulling the blonde closer. He knows the swordsman enjoys kissing by the sounds he's making so Sanji puts his hands on Zoro. One hand going to the back of Zoro neck while the other hands goes to his back, right in between his shoulder blades. Sanji digs his fingers into Zoro skin. Feeling it's more soft than he thought. The blonde angles the marimo head back some more to deepen the kiss. Zoro moans and gasps getting a pitch louder. Sanji slides his hand down Zoro spine causing the other man to shiver deeply, pulling a bit away to let out one of the filthiest moans the cook has ever heard.
Sanji stares at Zoro, he's never put much attention to the marimo face, and he found it does a lot to him. Making heat pool low in his gut. Zoro's face is red, eyebrows furrowed up and grey eyes glossy. It's so appealing Sanji wants to go further.
Wants to know how Zoro feels around his...
Sanji stands up, letting Zoro go.
"Thanks for the taste." Sanji says over his shoulder as he makes his way to the hatch, leaving behind a flustered Zoro.
The swordsman can do nothing but watch as Sanji retreats. Zoro heart beating hard against his ribs. Zoro blinks. Face burning brighter. He covers his mouth with his hand. Sanji kissed him again. This time more intensely than the first time. Sanji has been Zoro first kiss.
Embarrassed even though there's no one else here, Zoro looks away. Eyes on the floor. It always gets to him with how much it feels for his body to get this sensitive. He feels like his body shouldn't be like this but he can't help it. Dare he say it feels good. He let Sanji lick him the first time cause he really needed it but now, he's sort of selfishly allowing it because he enjoys the feel of it too. But he doesn't know if he should ever admit it?
Zoro puts his hand down, not so embarrassed anymore. He is glad that he and Sanji have gotten closer but would Sanji still feel like that if this situation were to never happen? It's just convenient for the blonde. But how long will this last? Surely there would be a cake better fit than he. After all he's not exactly what Sanji looks for in a partner.
What if he gets to close, attached? He doesn't want to think about if Sanji decides he doesn't need his help anymore. Maybe he's gotten too close already.
Zoro looks over to see his snack. He had forgotten about it. He reaches over to pull the tray closer to him. Would he be able to tell Sanji?
Zoro decides to not to think about it. What good is hypothesizing?
Zoro hops off the railing. A smile on his face as he finally gets a chance to explore, being relieved of guard duty.
He joins the crew, not caring the blonde isn't there yet. The man has avoided him the week it took them to sail to this island. He thought maybe he was too vocal in his pleasure it freaked the blonde out. He was going to talk to Sanji about it, apologize for it but stopped himself from doing so. What does he have to apologize for? Sanji never told him to stay quiet. Plus it's the blonde who licked him, who kissed him, who touched him. He instigated it. So Zoro won't say sorry.
If Sanji doesn't want to taste him that's his choice. It has nothing to do with him. He can find someone else for all he cares.
Even if that thought makes Zoro heart hurt a bit. He pushes it to the side. He's never really been one for feelings. It's best he stays out of them. It won't confuse him.
"Let's hurry to eat." Nami says looking over to their captain.
"Food!" Luffy shouts rushing forward.
"Wait! You idiot!" Nami shouts after him.
Zoro shakes his head with a grin on his face, he never wants Luffy to change. He steps forward, following the crew to eat out. Something they usually do to give the cook a break. Plus Zoro knows the blonde loves to try the local cuisine.
He takes two steps before the collar of his jacket is pulled back. He places his hand on his swords turning his head around, ready to fight. He pauses at the sight of the blonde. Zoro blinks up at Sanji. He hasn't seen the man all day. What is he doing?
"You all can go a head, we're going to walk around." Sanji explains with a smile. Zoro just continues to stare at the blonde. Then he looks over to the others, sure the crew will look at them weirdly. Even Zoro is a bit put off.
"Huh?" Escapes Zoro lips. The others look between them both.
"Are you sure?" Robin asks.
"Yup. You all go have fun." Sanji smiles, waving them off but more like shooing them away. Zoro tries to escape but Sanji keeps him in place. The blonde strength surprising the swordsman. After a few more tries Zoro eventually gives up. Standing in place as the crew slowly disappear down the street.
When they are out of sight Zoro turns to Sanji. "Let me go." He demands, eyes narrow.
Sanji lets him go, slipping his hand into his pockets. "Do you hate being with me?" Sanji asks, voice shockingly hurt and sad.
Zoro fixes himself. "No. But don't you want to go with the others? We haven't..." Zoro trails off, not wanting to sound like some annoying, clingy jealous... friend? Buddy? Acquaintance? Frenemy? What are they?
"Yeah I know. I didn't want to force anything but after this long I figured we get to know each other more. I enjoyed... I like our time together." Sanji says sheepishly. It's a bit of a lie. Sanji hasn't gotten close to Zoro because he got very hard while tasting Zoro. It was a very surprising moment as he didn't think he would have any sort of reaction to the swordsman. But he couldn't stop himself, some nights he'd remember Zoro and he can feel his dick start to react. He is unsure what got him, it could be anything, and he's nervous about going forward so he wants to learn more about Zoro. It makes sense considering Sanji doesn't think he can taste another cake as delicious as Zoro. He has decided not to lie to himself.
No one can replace Zoro at this point.
"Are we... going to stay here?" Zoro wonders, looking around, motioning to where they are. On the pier next to Sunny. Sanji blinks. Right, he was more worried about Zoro answer most of all. He's glad Zoro hasn't made fun of him or harshly reject him.
"Why don't we walk? You were stuck on the ship." Sanji suggests. Zoro nods, he is curious. He's always curious of each island they explore. Even if some are not as different as others.
They walk for a while before they begin to grow curious to the amount of people on the streets this late in the evening. Is there a party or something?
"Hey, there's a food stall." Zoro pulls on Sanji's sleeve to grab his attention. The blonde looks over to what he is pointing at. It is a food stall, selling what appears to be kabobs. Zoro lets go of the blonde's sleeve as he moves towards it. Sanji follows behind him.
After purchasing some they step to the side to eat. Sanji eats slowly as he watches Zoro devour his. It's something he's noticed more now, how Zoro always stuffs his face. He knows Luffy does it because he's a glutton and can't stop eating but what about Zoro? The swordsman sometimes seems like he's never hungry at all. He want's to know more about Zoro.
What better time to do that than now?
The two continue their leisurely walk, in silence as they eat. The kabobs really good. Seasoned with a hint of spice, giving a nice kick. Sanji is really liking it. He'll have to go back to get what the man seasoned the meat with. He looks over to Zoro eating it. He doesn't seem to really care. It makes him wonder if Zoro even cares about food. It seems more like he eats to survive.
"Marimo," Sanji starts, getting Zoro attention, "do you... can you..." Sanji starts and stops. Unsure how to ask. Of course Zoro can taste, if not he'd be a fork. Unless he has some tastebud issues, but they would have known if that were the case. "I've never seen you enjoy food." Sanji points out.
Sanji catches the way Zoro looks away, almost ashamed, but also sad. Sanji gets closer to reassure him. He didn't mean to make the other upset. It was just an observation. "It's..." Zoro takes a breath, looking back at Sanji, eyes clear but shining with the street lights in the dark, "I never cared about how something taste as long as I eat something. It was a means of survival, like drinking water." Zoro answers with s shrug. The blonde watches the other, eyes unmoving as he tries to dissect the hidden meaning of those words. He's missing something and he's not sure what.
"Do you have a favorite flavor?" Sanji asks. Zoro shakes his head. Sanji deflates, not sure how to go forward now.
Zoro frowns at Sanji, the blonde not hiding his disappointment. Zoro face lights up as a thought comes to him. "I don't like sweet things." Sanji looks up at Zoro. He knew that.
And it's a start. Sanji smiles but his mind goes back to what Zoro had told him. He never said food, never said he'll eat food no matter the taste but something. As long as he eats something. Something. Does that mean he use to eat whatever? Zoro never mentioned his childhood. Doesn't talk much about his time at the dojo. Sanji heart feels heavy at a dark thought he just had. He doesn't want to ask but he'd feel much better if he knew the answer.
"I... I might be overstepping but I feel like I need to ask, what was your childhood like?" Sanji asks serious.
"Before joining the dojo?"
Sanji nods his head, attention glued to Zoro. The marimo very calm about this.
"I was on the streets mostly. Fighting to get as much food as I can. Eating what scraps I could get my hands on." Zoro looks away, looking ashamed again. "I ate what and when I can." He adds. The last sentence putting into perspective what his childhood must have been like.
Sanji heart about rips out of his chest. Of them all Sanji knows most what it's like to starve and eat molding food. It's not good and it's traumatizing but instincts to survive make you do what you need to. From the way Zoro talk it seem to last long. Longer than Sanji experience did. For Sanji it help he couldn't taste anything, but Zoro could.
"How long?" Sanji asks, almost afraid to.
Zoro shrugs, "years." As if it truly was no big deal. But years! Fighting to eat for years! Starving more often than eating, only enough to last longer! It makes him sick to imagine Zoro having to eat garbage. Zoro must have been sickly, looking more like a skeleton than human. He remembers what he looked like after he and Zeff were rescued. Getting back to healthy had taken a while. How long would it have taken Zoro?
"Then let's go." Sanji takes Zoro hand dragging them forward.
"Where?" Zoro wonders letting himself be dragged away.
"I'm going to let you experience a whole night of flavor. Catch up on what you've been missing." Sanji smiles at Zoro. His eyes widen at the blonde. Cheeks heating, he finishes the kabob in hand.
Like Sanji promised they tried all the stalls. Sanji asking what Zoro thought about it. Going so far as to educate the swordsman about the different seasoning and spices. Even testing the marimo about what he's tasting.
Both did not expect it to be as fun as it was. Finding each other smiling. Laughing. Teasing. The time together feeling freeing.
Both were stuffed full by the end.
Something has changed between them but neither seem to really care to notice.
Sanji eyes the plate in his hand. Washing it clean. He sets it to the side, letting it dry. His mind full so he's glad for the small peace he gets by doing the dishes alone. It would have been Usopp turn to help, he doesn't mind the snipers company but at the moment he wants to be alone.
Alone to think fully on what's on his mind.
He wants to cross a line with Zoro. The line. Those wet dreams he's been getting more and more often are messing with him. He's lucky Zoro only sleeps three hours a night, usually in the crows nest training and watching the ship. He would die of embarrassment if the marimo caught him. He feels like some teenager who just discovered what sex is.
At first he thought it might have something to do with his taste going away but it's still there. He can still taste. He can't tell if he's just that horny or if it has something to do with Zoro being his cake.
He's asked himself if he can have sex with Zoro over and over again.
The newer is: yes. Yes he can. His dreams prove he has no problem with it. And his gender has never been a problem, some past cakes he's tasted were male, because that's all they could find on certain islands. Most islands have both, some only have one gender. Being a pirate he couldn't be picky. At this point in time he has no problem with Zoro. They've gotten along better now than before. They bicker like always, but now it's more teasing. They haven't sparred in a long time. Of course now Sanji wants to spar in a different sort of way.
He doesn't know why he's trying to convince himself out of it but he wants to have sex with Zoro. He should be talking to Zoro about this. He doesn't want to for some reason. Maybe he's afraid of rejection. No, he doesn't want Zoro to reject him. Of all the people, the only ones he wants to fully accept him is his crew. He use to not care for Zoro opinion on him but it's different now. He wants to be accepted by Zoro. He doesn't want to be looked at the same way his biological family use to look at him.
Deep down he knows the only way to know for sure is to ask and talk with Zoro.
So after the kitchen is cleaned, procrastinating as much as he can, he leaves the galley. Walking his way across to the rope that leads up to the crows nest. As he is at the door he takes a deep breath to calm his nerves, shake the trembling out of his hands.
He taps the toes of his shoes on the floor. Feeling a little bit of courage, he goes up. Into the crows nest. He expects to see Zoro training with his weights like always, instead he finds Zoro on the floor stretching, without his shirt. Sanji blinks, surprised. He never thought the man does stretch. Of course he should. All that training must ache his muscles, stretching will relieve that.
Sanji steps up, slowly closing the hatch door, not wanting to disturb the other. Sanji slowly moves closer. Hearing the swordsman huff in annoyance, Sanji raises a curly eyebrow. "Do you need help?" Sanji wonders. Zoro tilts his head to get a looks at the blonde.
The swordsman is obvious about his surprise in finding the blonde up here. Taking a look at the blonde hands finding them empty. So he is not here to drop off some snacks. "Sure." Zoro says. Sanji gets behind Zoro, pushing his back down, Zoro outstretching his arms as his legs are spread. Zoro chest is almost touching the floor when he lets out a gasp, the sound going straight to Sanji memory for later, if this goes badly.
Ever since learning Zoro is a cake Sanji can't help but think Zoro scent has become different more appetizing. Almost sweet.
"Um... Zoro, I want to asks you something." Sanji says.
"Okay." Zoro takes a deep breath in, then exhales out.
"Well, I know this is all new to you... being unaware of being a cake for so long..."
"Get to the point." Zoro huffs out.
"I want to have sex with you." Sanji blurts out, having felt rushed. He bites his lips not able o believe he just announced that.
It's silent.
Then Zoro sits up, knocking the back of his head into Sanji face, smacking his nose hard. Zoro twist around, cheeks pink, and eyes wide, unbelieving.
"Ow." Sanji says breaking the silence as he holds his nose.
"What?" Zoro questions because he's sure he misheard that.
Sanji looks at his hand making sure he's not bleeding. He's not. "I know you're new to this so you don't know but in order to get the full taste of a cake having sex with them is the best way."
"What?" Zoro squeaks out, cheeks getting redder.
"Everything from blood to semon, or any other juices, from a cake taste good to us forks. Having sex lets us taste as much as we can from a cake it's-"
"I get it!" Zoro interrupts the blonde. He looks away not able to meet ocean blue eye, "does it need to be me? I'm sure you can find another cake for... that, right?"
"I've told you before, no cake tastes as good as you. I'd like to keep this going. I won't force you."
"I'm a man."
"I've had male cake partners before."
"You have?" Zoro eyes widen at the revelation. He is called the womanizer for a reason.
"Yes. I can't be too picky." Sanji says with a shy smile on his face.
Zoro looks down at the floor, almost ashamed. Again. Sanji scoots closer ready to reassure the other, not sure what for but he's ready. Zoro makes him freeze when the swordsman looks him in the eyes. "I have no experience." He says. Sanji blinks.
Dumbfounded. To be fair he should have seen this coming. Zoro with his one track mind, of course he doesn't care about anything else.
"Is that a problem for you?" Zoro asks, Sanji shakes his head. He didn't know he was silent for so long.
"No. No problem. If you agree we will talk a bit more about it. I'd need to know if there's anything you don't like or like. We would also need to make a plan for it on the next island."
"Next island?" Zoro wonders, completely clueless.
"Yes, more often than not, forks get rather crazy in the middle of sex with a cake. We are desperate so it's best to make sure we have privacy and won't be disturbed by the crew. So we'll get a hotel room for that."
"O-okay." Zoro says.
"Okay?" Sanji has to make sure he's not hallucinating this.
Zoro nods, his cheeks red, "okay." The swordsman doesn't want to refuse. He's actually curious. About sex? Yes. But more importantly sex with Sanji. He enjoyed the way the blonde touched him before, it was new but he didn't hate it.
"Okay." Sanji smiles feeling good. All nerves gone. He wasn't rejected. And now he's excited.
In preparation for that night, once they are alone, Sanji meets with Zoro to give him a rundown on what will be expected to happen and how it happens.
It was very funny, never once had Sanji thought of Zoro as innocent but as he explain how sex between men, between them, will go he's never seen Zoro face turn so red. The red travel from his cheeks, to his ears, going down his neck, to his chest. The best part is the blush traveling upwards, reaching his forehead, bringing out the pinching of his eyebrows. It was very pure.
Sanji could help but laugh at his reaction. It was adorable.
Zoro throws a pillow at Sanji, glaring at the man while his cheeks puff, like an angry cat. The sight made Sanji laugh more.
Zoro asked some questions and Sanji answered as much as he can. Sanji has had male cakes before but not a lot. He use to prefer women. Took a women over men more often than not. Sanji hasn't had a male partner in a long time.
As the time got closer Sanji can feel himself start to get excited. Everything is trembling with anticipation. Especially as the days get closer to them docking. The hours get closer. Minutes. Seconds. Relieved now that it's no longer a wet dream of his.
He can feel his heart beating against his ribs as he and Zoro walk down the street to the hotel. He and the swordsman had eaten dinner on the Sunny then left for a hotel, Sanji had done his research on which hotel to use. They even packed a bag for the next day. Or when ever they wake up. Sanji usually ravishes a cake the whole night until just the peak of the sun is visible. With Zoro he's not sure it'll be that short, like with everything about Zoro he wants more, and he can't get enough. It's a new feeling. For both of them
Zoro has never felt so wanted. Sanji has never wanted something as bad as he does Zoro. And he's about to get it.
Checking in and the walk to their room is awkward but charged. After this something will change. Everything will. They will be seeing a side of each other most don't know. Zoro will see the fork side of the blonde that none of the crew truly know, a side he's only ever gotten glimpses of. And Sanji will see the cake side, the vulnerable side of the swordsman that no one has seen before. They won't be able to come back from this. Luckily they've talked before hand.
Getting to know each other beforehand. Well as much as Sanji can know of Zoro when the swordsman is new to this. A virgin. So even he's unsure what he truly likes. Sanji doesn't feel nervous about ruining anything though. If this destined cake thing is true then Zoro will like everything. Of course he's not an asshole so he'll ask first.
Communicate with each other.
He doesn't want to fuck up because he assumed.
Once in the room they both take a look around. A bed on one side of the room, a window facing them, on the other side is a kitchen, with the door to the bathroom. Sanji sets the duffle bag of their things on the foot of the bed.
"So... what now?" Zoro asks setting his swords against the nightstand to the right.
"We start slow like we said." Sanji informs toeing his shoes off. He catches Zoro nod. Silently they both slowly strip off their clothes. Sanji taking more time as he folds his clothes neatly to the side. While Zoro just sets them to the side. Out of the way but it always amazes Sanji how different they are but yet they fit together like a puzzle piece.
Sanji watches as Zoro, in his boxers gets on the bed in the middle. His cheeks already pink. Zoro lays down, eyes close as he takes steady breaths, in and out. Meditating. He's of course nervous but he's excited too. It's no secret he likes Sanji touching him, and kissing him. He can't wait to feel better. Doesn't stop his heart from running around in his chest.
Zoro opens his eyes as he feels the bed dip. His heart about leaps out his throat as Sanji staring at him once again like a predator ready to feast on their well earned catch. Zoro grey eyes roam to Sanji's, admittingly handsome face, down to his bare body. It's so different from his own. All milky skin. The complete opposite from his tan skin. Zoro takes a deep breath at the sight of the blonde flexing his bicep as he gets closer. It's hard to imagine Sanji as anything but skinny with those suits he always wears. They aren't tight but form fitting he knows, but they always make him looks thinner than he is in reality. And seeing him bare like he is now is unbelievable.
From his large biceps to his thighs. Zoro has to swallow the lump in his throat. All at once he's coming to the realization he's attracted to Sanji's body. It's an odd thing to realize about one's self but here he is. When he agreed to this he didn't care or ask if he should be attracted to the other party but that doesn't seem to matter anymore. Even though there is space between them the swordsman can feel his body heat, smell the spices and cigarette that is wholly Sanji. Those two scents shouldn't work together yet they do for the cook and him. Zoro wants more. "Can I... touch?" Zoro asks looking at Sanji who stares for a second. Blinking slowly. As unbelieving as he is. Sanji pink lips quirk in a small grin.
"Go a head." Sanji says looking away to ruffle in the duffle bag. Zoro pays no mind to what the other is doing, half a mind knowing he's just getting the condoms and lube. He focuses on his hand on milky skin. Zoro tilts his head curiously. He thought it'd be smoother but Zoro can feel the scars. Nothing noticeable from afar. It makes sense, as much as Zoro gets hurt Sanji is there too. Nothing as severe as him, Sanji is much more careful though. There are smooth areas though which are obviously untouched, alone with very noticeable tan lines when Sanji doesn't wear his suits. Though that's very rare. Sanji is harder than Zoro thought. His muscles hard, but very defined. His chiseled chest and abbs. Nothing like his. The v-line going to his blue boxers. Already Zoro can see the blonde's cock straining against the fabric.
Zoro can feel his face heat up at the sight, it looks large. And they haven't done anything. Zoro distracts himself by feeling Sanji chest, sliding the tip of his fingers down to his abbs then sliding them to the side to his waist and hips. He frowns a bit, a little jealous that his hips and waist are straight and narrow, the complete opposite to his own.
Zoro looks up when he hears a chuckle, finding the blonde looking at him with amusement in his eyes. The corner of his lips curled a bit upwards. How long was he watching?
"Enjoying yourself?" Sanji ask, placing a hand on Zoro's much softer chest, pushing the swordsman down to lay back down.
"Yes." Zoro answers unashamed. Not seeing a reason he should be. He catches Sanji's cheeks pinken. The corners of his lips twitching, wanting to smirk. Satisfied with the fact he too has an effect on the blonde.
"Like what you see?" Sanji asks crawling up over Zoro until they are face to face. Zoro takes a moment to look down at the blondes body.
"Yes." Zoro nods his head. He finds he really like Sanji's body.
"Good. Let's get started." Sanji says as he leans on his forearms set besides Zoro's head, his voice betraying how eager he is. Zoro feeling his body warm, liking the idea of being so desired. Though he knows the truth, that it's because he's a cake. Still feels good.
Sanji leans his head down slowly, brushing his nose against Zoro's. They can both hear the soft chime of Zoro's earrings as he moves his head. For the perfect angle to kiss. Something they have experienced plenty with each other.
The kiss is soft. No urgency, no desire. Just soft and tasting. Almost exploring but they both know every nook and cranny of each other's mouth over the last month. They've kissed each other softly, rough, fast, and slow. Sanji knows Zoro tastes sweet and savory all at once, a taste he's obsessed with now. In turn Zoro knows Sanji tastes like cigarettes and what ever he might be cooking, everything is good. This is not new but it still feels good for them both. At the moment it's just them, there's nothing to worry about.
Zoro moans and shiver into the kiss as he feels Sanji's hand on his left side. The sensation causing sparks to travel across the whole of his body. He's told Sanji before, how much he likes the sensation of Sanji thicker and longer fingers on his body, the calluses rubbing against his skin. He never knew his skin could be sensitive but here he is. Getting hard at the fact Sanji, of all people, is touching him. While Sanji does that Zoro places his own callused hands on Sanji's shoulder. He feels the lean muscle underneath his fingers.
Sanji slides his hands down further, as he moves from kissing Zoro on the lips to kissing his cheek, reaching his jaw line, doing down his neck. Kissing as much skin as he can before he gets too focused on fucking Zoro. As the cook gets further away Zoro's hands slide down the blondes toned arms, gripping firmly at the new sensations. The blonde is finding it harder to concentrate when the other keeps making those wonton noise. Enjoying the fact they can make as much noise as they want.
"I'm going to start." Sanji says as his sliding hand finally reaches the belt of his boxers. Zoro owning, of course black boxers. Zoro hands are once again at his side, fingers digging into the bedding. His heart thundering in his chest, knowing what to expect but not at the same time.
Zoro can only nod his head. His eyes glazed over. Cheeks red, reaching his neck and chest. Sanji sits back, with both hands he pulls the black boxers off. Exposing all of Zoro to Sanji. Zoro's blush gets deeper. He's not self conscious about his body, he's a healthy man. It's very different to be in front ofSanjinaked.
Sanji tosses the piece of cloth away without much thought.
Zoro doesn't get too stuck in his head as Sanji dives in, kissing tan skin. Kissing then licking at the newly exposed areas. Nibbling at the point where the leg meets his hips. Unlike anywhere else the skin is smooth. The rest of his body is littered with tiny scars but otherwise smooth and hairless. And unlike his own body, Zoro's muscles are actually soft. It's nice to touch. "Fuck. I want to taste everything." Sanji groans against Zoro's skin. While their kisses are sweet and savory Zoro skin is like well prepared meat, a meal, changing depending on which part he licks. This part is like a dessert rather than a meal. Almost like caramel.
"Y-you can." Zoro stutters, his body feels like it's been electrocuted. They catch each other's eyes, both dark with lust and desires. Sanji takes a moment to think it over. He could lick Zoro's body for hours, long after his tongue is numb at the repeated action. But he's sure he'd go crazy if he did do that. He want to feel Zoro against him, fuck Zoro so hard, know what Zoro orgasming taste like. They have all night but they don't have forever. Not when the next they they need to prepare to get off the island.
"Maybe another time." Sanji says leaning back on the balls of his feet. Reaching over for one of the tubes of lube he packed. Zoro watches, heart in his throat at what the blonde had told him.
Another time. This isn't going to be a one time thing like he originally thought. He's glad. Happy. Sort of possessive about the fact Zoro gets Sanji to himself. He files that away for now as Sanji squirts a large drop of lube onto his hand.
Without much prompting Zoro spreads his legs open for Sanji. The cook grins at the action. Zoro looks away embarrassed his body moved on it's own. "Ready?" Sanji asks setting the lube, top still open, to the side.
"Yeah." Zoro says breathless, fingers fisting the sheet, letting Sanji lead considering he's the one with experience. Sanji pressing the pad of his finger against the ring of muscle, blue eyes watching Zoro face. Trying to catch any hint of discomfort. Nothing yet so he slides his finger in. Just his middle finger at first. Zoro easily gives way but it's tight. He's really going to have to take his time to open the other up. Though he can feel his mind slipping a bit. The way Zoro is so hot and gripping onto his finger has his mind running wild, imagining it feeling around his cock.
Sanji suck in a breath as his cock jumps at the thought. He bites his lips as he slowly slides in until his last knuckle. He takes a looks Zoro to see eyebrows furrowed so much they almost meet in the middle.
"Does it hurt?" Sanji pauses.
Zoro shakes his head. He lets a breath out. "I-it feels... weird." Zoro pouts his lips.
"Well tell me if it hurts." Sanji says going back to opening Zoro up. Feeling relieved, he would if Zoro put an end to this but knows he'd crazy if that did happen.
It's a slow process. Even with the amount of lube he'd put into his hand, but he knows better it be messy and over done than not enough. Sanji can hear Zoro take deep and measured breaths in time with his finger entering him. After the slide gets very easy and loose he adds a second finger. Taking his time in scissoring Zoro open. The swordsman relaxing into the bed more. When Sanji finally adds the third finger, Sanji tries to get as far inside of Zoro as he can searching for the swordsman prostate.
But he can't seem to find it. No matter how he twists his fingers. His middle finger not going deep enough it seems.
"San-!" Sanji pauses looking up at Zoro, heart thumping at almost fully hearing his name on Zoro's tongue. "Cook!" Zoro moans, catching himself, grinding his hips onto the cooks fingers. Sanji has been so focused on Zoro's hole being ready for him he hasn't gotten a good look at the man's face. His face no longer furrowed so tight but loose and in pleasure, mouth open, and his cheeks are red reaching his forehead. Sanji blinks realizing Zoro's been feeling good.
Sanji feels his blood boil. He's forgotten about his own desired and they hit him in full force just now. "Fuck." Sanji growls. He pulls his finger out of Zoro, not caring how slicked they are, only focused at getting his boxers off as Zoro whine at the loss. Feeling so empty.
Quickly, Sanji pulls his boxers down to mid thigh as he pours some more lube onto his hand, slicking up his hard member. Pumping more, though there was no need with how hard he was. Zoro watches mesmerized by the action. The cook looks so desperate and in a hurry. For him. Because of him. Damn does the knowledge do something to Zoro's brain.
"I can't hold on anymore. I'm going in." Sanji says, for Zoro's sake, as he scoots closer to Zoro, getting in between his legs, rubbing the reddened head of his cock against Zoro. Spreading his precum and lube around Zoro, until the head finds his hole. Without much prompting or any warning Sanji pushes in.
"Ah!" Zoro moans turning his head at the feeling of something hard and thick penetrating him. The cooks fingers felt good but they were nothing like his cock. And fuck does Zoro feel good. His body feels like it's been lit, it's on fire and he doesn't seem to care nor does he want it to end. His back arch's at the intrusion. As odd as it is to feel something so thick, long and hard enter his body it was bad. The stretch is rather good. Zoro mind more focused on the feel of Sanji's length and cock moving further and further in, twitching every so often.
Sanji leans over Zoro, slowly his hips meet the back of Zoro's ass. Skin flush against skin. Zoro takes deep breaths, his chest heaving. Sanji right there with him. His body is practically vibrating to start thrusting. To pull out before thrusting back in hard. Sanji feels like a starving man. But he takes a moment to appreciate the first mate.
In height they are the same but width... Zoro's got that. His shoulders have bulked up, his chest, waist and hips. Everything about Zoro got larger. From biceps to thighs. And fuck does that make Zoro look like a sculpture. Sanji knew objectively speaking that Zoro is attractive but it never sank in. There are always ladies (and some men) staring at him. Zoro of course never paid attention. He didn't care and yet here he is watching Zoro come undone.MakingZoro come undone. By his hands.
Sanji reaches forward, cupping Zoro cheek, his thumb trailing his thin lips, glossy from their spit and red from the pressure of their kisses. His hand goes down, sliding the pads of his fingers against Zoro's sensitive skin down his neck as he leans forward. Their lips connecting, his taste buds hit full force with Zoro's flavor. The more they do the more flavor he can taste. His other hand holding the top of Zoro's head, his green hair short but soft. The blondes fingers down the middle of his breasts until they find the uneven skin of Zoro's scar. The texture bumpy.
Sanji pulls away from him, watching Zoro get use to his size, but from the way he's clenching onto his member he can tell Zoro wants to continue this. Sanji looks down, Zoro following his gaze. Zoro raises an eyebrow at the way Sanji is prodding his stomach with his thumb. Pushing it into his flesh. "Where...?" Sanji trails off. Zoro opens his mouth to ask what he's looking for but stops, his eyes growing wide as he sees stars.
"AAAHHH!" Zoro screams, throwing his head back, exposing his throat to Sanji. His whole body almost locking. The blonde snaps his head up to watch Zoro, eye widening. Zoro heaves as he moves his head back to looks at the blonde.
Zoro, blown out, grey eyes are wide, tears gathering in the corner. The hand on his side coming up to touch where Sanji just pressed on. Of course Zoro doesn't press but he stares at the blonde for answers. "Wha-?" Zoro asks voice almost broken from his shout earlier.
Zoro feels something heavy weight on his shoulders at the evil smirk Sanji gave him.
"I guess your prostate is that far in." Sanji says as he pulls out. He takes his boxers off, throwing them in a random direction like he did with Zoro's, ignoring the whine Zoro gave him at being empty. Sanji, as fast as he pulled out pushed his member right back in. Zoro bites his lips, muffling the moan he almost gave out, but does nothing about the way his body arch not the cook. Sanji a look at Zoro again. Taking him fully in, because after this he knows he won't be able to control himself.
Zoro is blushing beautifully. From his forehead to his shoulders. Sanji licks his lips at the fact Zoro's ears are red now too. The curve of his breast are red. A hard color to see on Zoro's skin but man does it work in Zoro's favor.
Sanji then pulls out until the tip of his cock is in, Zoro's eyes look at Sanji almost unbelieving. Sanji gives him a smirk before slamming back in. Zoro's head is thrown back as he lets out the fislthiest moan possible. Zoro reaches up to take hold of the pillow, his other hand still fisting the sheets. Sanji moves one of Zoro's leg to rest over the crook of arm while his other arm reaches for Zoro's stomach. His thumb sliding across his stomach, until he stops right below his belly button. As Sanji continues his relentless thrust, he presses down, like a button. Causing Zoro to grip his muscles onto Sanji cock, Sanji groaning at the feel, it's heavenly.
Zoro looks at the cooks hand on his belly, tears streaming down his face. The pleasure so overwhelming he doesn't know what to do, but he hopes it doesn't stop.
Sanji uses his muscle, the years of training, to piston his hip hard into Zoro. The sound of his skin slapping into Zoro echoing along with the squelching from the lube. He faintly feels the bed moving with his motions along with the slamming of the frame against the wall but he doesn't care.
Feeling like his mouth is missing something Sanji leans down onto Zoro, using the flat of his tongue on Zoro's nipple. The swordsman's body locking as he comes hard for the first time. The first ever. And the first of the night.
Sanji looks down, pausing for a second as curiosity gets the better of him. So far everything he's ever tasted of Zoro is delicious so how good is Zoro's cum? He moves his hand, two fingers swiping at where the cum landed, a bit on those wonderfully round breasts. Without hesitation Sanji brings his fingers into his mouth. His taste buds explode.
It's a five course meal all at once. He's never tasted anything like this. Never experienced something like this before.
And he feels it. His mind fading, ready to chase the sensation. To pull this flavor out of Zoro for as long as he can.
Zoro heaves as he watches something in Sanji's eyes change.
Oh.
Zoro shivers. He likes that. He likes that very much. He knew it was coming considering Sanji talked a lot about it before. He imagined it but this is so different. Better. That look has him feeling wanted, craved, he's never seen someone look at him like that.
Sanji man handles Zoro onto his hands and knees. He lets out a huff at the feel of Zoro's ass, nice, round and plentiful. Sanji driving himself hard into Zoro with both hands on his hips, holding so hard Zoro is sure they will bruise. Not that he minds or can care. Zoro can only hold onto the sheets, fisting so hard he is sure his knuckles have turns white. The feeling of Sanji's length and girth stretch him differently in this position. Zoro didn't think the position matter but it does.
And Zoro feels his own mind begin to grow cloudy, mushy. The stretch is so good. The snap of Sanji hips against his. Feeling Sanji so deep inside of him is something he'll never forget nor does he want it stop.
With Zoro twitching and gripping his muscle around Sanji's cock the blonde comes with a bite to Zoro's shoulder, the sensations causes Zoro to come again. Sanji waste to time in wiping it up to taste again. Zoro should feel embarrassed about the cook doing that but his body is too busy shivering to care. Sanji hadn't softened in him, still as hard as he was when he first entered.
Sanji then brings Zoro to sit down on his lap, chest to back. Zoro screams at the feeling, he's so sensitive all he can do is sit as Sanji drives his hips up to the other, one hand on his stomach ready to press on his prostate while he continues to drive his dick into Zoro's hole. Zoro lays his head on Sanji's shoulder, one hand gripping onto Sanji wrist, the whole palm of his hand placed gently onto Zoro's stomach. Keeping him in place. The other hand on Sanji forearm, the blonde other hand holding one of Zoro legs open.
Then he starts pressing his stomach, the way he knows makes Zoro's body come. Zoro begins to twist and squirm because it's too much but man does it feel good. But it also feels different from the previous orgasms. Like this the head of Sanji cock is the deepest, and when his thumb is pressing onto the swordsman's stomachs he can feel it all squeezing. Sanji can feel Zoro getting tighter.
"Wait! Cook! Something's is-!" Zoro begin to beg but his next orgasm comes, not only does he comes but so does a clear liquid. Zoro throws his head back coming so hard. It almost has the same sensation when he pees. But they both know it's not that. Sanji doesn't care, moving his head to the side, lips brushing against Zoro's ear. He opens his mouth, taking a nibble. "COOK!" Zoro cries as he squirts more, Sanji having not stopped. Sanji instead licks the clear liquid from where he can reach. A rumble like noise comes from the blonde.
Sanji continues to wreck Zoro. Driving himself deep into Zoro. Nothing else on his mind but feeling good and tasting all of Zoro. From head to toe nothing is untouched.
Zoro continues to scream but call out to Sanji, not by name, and the only thing out of the chef's mouth is grunts, groans, and moans of his own. Zoro can only hold onto Sanji like a lifeline. Blunt nails digging into milky skin, leaving crescents.
Sanji wakes up with a start. He twist into the pillow, one hand coming to his back as he groans. He takes a few minutes for the ache to disappear, his back never the same after Drum Island. Then he blinks at the sight of the room filled with a yellow glow. The sun has risen for hours by now it seems.
He turns to the sound of the chainsaw like snores to find Zoro peacefully sleeping. Though the sight of him causes Sanji to grin. There's not a spot that's bite mark free or even hickey free. Sanji rest his head on his hand, propped up on his elbow as he watch the marimo sleep. Last night replaying in his mind. That is the best tasting he's ever had of a cake. Not only did Zoro's stamina keep up with him but Zoro seems to like it all the same. Though after squirting the first time Zoro seemed shy. It took a couple more squirts for him to forget about it and just drown in the pleasure. Since it was new for Zoro he can see why t took a while. It was adorable.
Sanji reaches over, shaking him awake. It doesn't take long to do so. "Wake up marimo. It's morning."
"No." Zoro mumbles twisting to his side, back facing the blonde. A second later the snores come back. Sanji takes a look at Zoro's back and bites his lips. It's way worse than his front.
"Fine. I need to cook us something anyways. You will eat." Sanji says, not caring if Zoro cought it or not. He'll wake him up if he's still sleeping but he's betting the smell will wake him up. Sanji grabs some random clothes from the bag to put on in order to cook. He's not going to cook naked. Though... as a show for Zoro... he'll consider it.
And he's right. The snores stop as he's about to plate the food. He can spot from where he's standing Zoro laying on his back once again staring at the ceiling or his eyes are closed he can't tell.
"Come and sit down." Sanji orders as he sets down their plates on a small two person round table. He goes back to the kitchen to grab some utensils. It's a simple meal for them but there's a lot. He knows he didn't let Zoro go until after the sun started to peak.
"A minute." Zoro rasps, his voice gone. Sanji feels very satisfied about that fact. Sanji waits a minute not touching his own food. After a minute Zoro finally moves. He watches the swordsman go slow. A small limp to his walk. Unlike Sanji Zoro doesn't look for anything to wear. He just makes his way to the table. Sanji huffs, but let's it go. They need to eat.
Sanji watches as Zoro happily stuff his face with food. Sanji finds himself locked on Zoro, watching the way those cheeks round with food. He use to find it annoying, barbaric. But now... he finds it endearing. Plus it's not like he's messy like Luffy. To know the reason as to why he does that breaks his heart, but seeing Zoro happily able to eat without worry now, able to stuff his mouth with food, to see him bulky with muscles fills his heart in a way he can't describe it.
He feels closer to Zoro now. Of course that's a given considering what they've just did, and what they've done but it's more emotional now. Physical and emotional.
The silence as they eat isn't nerve wracking. He doesn't feel compelled to talk. And he knows if he does talk Zoro will listen. It's peaceful. He likes it. He feels like he belongs. It's different than if they were with the crew.
It's nice. After breakfast Sanji takes Zoro into the bathroom to wash up. They don't do anything. But Sanji does come up behind Zoro to help him wash out. To think he brought condoms for this reason but didn't use them. He'll have to make sure he does. For Zoro's sake.
"Cook." Zoro warns, voice still raspy. Sanji licks the side of Zoro's throat as they continue to wash, the water cascading down their bodies.
"I'm helping." Sanji says deep, right into Zoro's ear. The same one his earrings are on. Sanji can spot his bite mark from when he bit onto Zoro's ear. He reaches for it, taking a nibble. A playful bite.
"Cook." Zoro says seriously. Sanji chuckles, pulling the swordsman flush against his own body.
"Just getting another taste." Sanji grins at Zoro. Zoro raises an eyebrow at him, pausing in his washing.
"You're not going to go cannibal on me are you?" Zoro asks though his tone is teasing, focusing scrubbing himself. Sanji pulls back, eye wide, surprised Zoro even knows about that. He knew Zoro didn't know much about fork and cakes.
"How do you know about that?" Sanji asks stepping away, his heart thundering in his chest.
"On one of the islands I traveled to a fork had gone crazy, started eating cakes. He wasn't really hiding it."
"Oh... what happened after?" Sanji wonders, heart sort of calming. Almost worried Zoro is scared of him. But he's calm, trusting, so it's not like that.
"I killed him. The bounty reward was pretty large. It fed me for a while." Zoro answers nonchalantly. Sanji freezes. His voice stuck in throat. He takes a deep swallow to clear it.
"Must have disgusted you." Sanji says, starting to sud up the towel to start washing himself.
"No." Zoro answers easily, without a second thought. Sanji snaps to looks at Zoro.
"Really?" Eyes wide as he stares at Zoro, searching his face, wanting to see if it's a lie.
"People do all sort of things when they are desperate. He wasn't any different. All he wanted to do was taste. His mom was very sad but thankful his suffering was over." Zoro answers, scrubbing his legs and getting in between.
Sanji blinks as he watch Zoro. The swordsman has no idea the storm the blondes mind was. "You talked to his mom?" Sanji asks.
"Yeah. After I killed him, I brought his body to the office to get the bounty money. Then I took his body to his mother's so she could bury him properly."
"How'd you...?"
"His mother asked me to kill him. I was going to decline but she mentioned the bounty on him and I needed money so I agreed. She asked if I would give the body to her. If I were to leave it at the office they'd have burned his body like a criminal." Zoro answers.
Sanji stares at Zoro. He doesn't seem to care. Now he has to asks, though he's scared of the answer. "Are you not scared of me? Of me becoming a cannibal?"
"No." He once again answers without missing a beat. No second thought.
Sanji huffs, not sure he believes Zoro's answers. "What makes you so sure?"
"Luffy trusts you. That's enough for me. Besides," Zoro looks up to Sanji, meeting his eyes, blue versus grey, "before this," Zoro motions between them, "you could have become a cannibal but you didn't. You just got cranky." Zoro gives the blonde a teasing smile.
Sanji finds himself smiling along with Zoro. "Well as long as I have you, I don't see that being a problem in the future." Sanji says without a second thought.
"Good. Now wash my back." Zoro orders as he turns his back to Sanji, willingly. Sanji takes a moment, stunned by the show of trust. Of course Zoro's back was turned to him a lot last night but this was different. Like a cat showing you their tummy.
"Sure. Maybe I'll add a message." Sanji says rubbing his fingers into the curve of Zoro's spine. The man relaxing into the sensation.
"Where is he?" Nami growls, pacing back and forth. Sanji just rest against the railing, his weight being held by his elbow with a cigarette in his mouth. Sanji watches as Nami gets angrier the more laps she makes.
Sanji looks to the island. Of course they are waiting for Zoro. He hasn't seen the swordsman since they separated earlier in the day. They are supposed to depart soon. Luffy and Chopper are with Franky and Usopp in their workshop, Brook sat at the foremast as he read something with a cup of tea set besides him. Robin is standing watching Nami.
Maybe he should have told Zoro to stay with him. Zoro didn't really let him get more into that thought before he was off wondering away. He could have used the excuse of packmule to keep him close. Plus it would have actually helped as Sanji did need help. He was able to handle it himself fine.
"Sanji!" Nami snaps her angry face to him. He can hear it already. To go search for their lost swordsman. He looks down at his watch on his wrist. He frowns, they can interpret the face he's making how they want but he's been gone for awhile now. A small part of him worries if he got in trouble. He's not as invisible as he once thought, or thinks. Being a cake has shown that he is in fact vulnerable.
"What got your panties in a twist?" All snap their heads to the voice. Sanji having to crane his neck up a but as Zoro sat on the railing next to him. He didn't even notice. None of them did.
"How long have you been there?" Nami points at him. Zoro looks away as he munch on something, some sort of treat on a stick.
"A minute or two." Zoro finally answers. Nami throws a tantrum as she turns away from him. Stomping her way to the helm. Robin chuckling besides her.
"It's not funny Robin!" Nami whines.
Zoro looks over to Sanji, who has been staring at him. "Want a bite?" Zoro grins that teasing grin of his.
"Sure." Sanji perks up curious to what he's eating.
"Nope. It was a gift." Zoro chuckles jumping down as he makes his way to follow Nami at the helm. To watch them safely sail away from the island then he'll relax and take another nap.
"Then why'd you offer?" Sanji shouts as his cheeks warm. Zoro just laughs.
"Your face." Zoro says.
"What the hell happened to you?" Nami shouts. Sanji and Zoro looks over to Nami, worried. Only to find her staring at Zoro, eyes wide. Zoro takes a look at himself, then back up at her when he doesn't see anything. He's not bleeding.
"What?" Zoro asks with a raised eyebrow. Nami stomps her way to him, opening the short sleeved button up he's wearing. Sanji straightens as that's not what Zoro wore the last time he saw him. Also glad he always wears suits, Zoro had marked him pretty good in return. It'd be suspicious if they were both marked up.
Nami, Robin and Brook oogle at Zoro's front, his nipples obviously bitten, hickeys litter everywhere from his neck down to his haramaki. Bite marks mostly around his shoulder and chest.
Nami narrows her eyes at Zoro, closing the button up. "Did you meet up with a fork?"
"Uh.. last night yeah." Zoro answers.
"That's more than what I need to know." Nami says turning around.
"You asked." Zoro says with a shrug of his shoulder. They walk to the helm.
"So where'd you get the treat?" Robin asks, having heard Zoro tease Sanji with it.
"Saved a couple kids, they thanked me with this." Zoro shrugs like it's no big deal. Sanji smiles. Fond and proud.
"And the shirt?" Robin wonders, it's not really Zoro's style, as it's white with colored shapes littering it. Zoro doesn't really do bright colored patterns.
"I gave my sweater to one." Zoro says looking down at the shirt. He honestly doesn't care.
"Food!" Luffy shouts. Not a second later does he barrel into Zoro who stands his ground so he's not knocked over. Nami huffs, muttering something about that's what he gets for being late. But she can't be to upset with him, he was helping a bunch of kids. "What's that Zoro? Let me try."
"Fuck off it's mine!" Zoro shouts shoving their captain away. Luffy continues to fight with Zoro. As a last resort Zoro shoves it all into his mouth, pulling the stick out, bare. Sanji eyes that. Coming up with an idea to try sometime.
With that Luffy let's go of Zoro to bother Nami about going back to the island to try it himself.
Sanji laughs at the sight. Luffy on the floor with a slowly growing bump on his head, Zoro's cheeks full like a chipmunk.
Sanji blue eyes look at the blue sky, his chest light and free. Feeling much better than he has in months, years.
Ever since learning he's a fork it felt like his world has stopped. Especially his dream. But now, he feels normal.
With Zoro, his cake, by his side he doesn't have anything to worry about.
It's the best feeling in the world.
