Godzilla's immense claws tore through the earth, each swipe digging deeper into the city's foundation as if it were little more than sand. Massive chunks of concrete, soil, and steel were tossed aside with ease, exposing the hidden infrastructure of Tokyo-3's underbelly. He was tunneling with terrifying speed, driven by the ancient instinct guiding him toward Lilith's resting place.
In the command center, alarms blared as readings showed rapid structural collapse. The monitors displayed the ground giving way beneath Tokyo-3, and Godzilla's hulking form disappearing into the earth, burrowing straight toward the Geofront.
"He's... digging down to the Geofront," Ritsuko gasped, watching the destruction unfold in disbelief. "He'll reach Terminal Dogma in minutes if we don't stop him!"
Misato's voice was urgent as she barked orders to the Eva pilots. "Shinji, Asuka, Reiāget down there. Follow him into that tunnel and stop him at any cost!"
Shinji hesitated, gripping the controls in Unit-01. "But... what can we even do? He's not stopping."
Asuka, shaking off her previous fall, gritted her teeth and moved forward. "We have to try! If he reaches Lilith, we might as well say goodbye to everything!"
With their Evas battered but operational, the pilots reluctantly plunged into the massive chasm left behind by Godzilla's digging, descending into the darkness of the tunnel. The rough, freshly dug walls rumbled around them, as if straining under the weight of the behemoth carving his way downward.
Each of Godzilla's movements sent tremors through the tunnel, making it difficult for the Evas to maintain their footing. The closer they got, the stronger the air grew with a strange, almost palpable energy emanating from both Godzilla and the dark depths below. It was as if the very earth trembled in the presence of these ancient beings.
Finally, Godzilla broke through to the vast, open space of the Geofront. His piercing gaze locked onto Terminal Dogma in the distance, where he knew Lilith was hidden. A deep, primal growl rumbled from within him as he moved forward, his sheer size filling the massive underground cavern.
