Hotel Transylvania - 2016

The Hotel Transylvania was getting more and more crowded, and this time with humans. After the big changes that Johnny made to the hotel, Dracula started to accept both monsters and humans.

In the hotel lobby, Dracula was walking around greeting everyone around the place. Some people took pictures or asked for autographs from the vampire, who did everything. The vampire went to the reception, where he looked tired, until he heard his son-in-law calling and approached with two coffees.

- Hey Drac. - The red-haired boy who approached gave the coffee to his father-in-law, who received it.

- What would that be? - Dracula asked, finding it suspicious.

- An espresso. Try it. - Johnny started drinking coffee.

Dracula sniffed suspiciously, until he finally drank it and discovered that he loved the coffee.

- This is actually good. - The vampire said, taking a little more.

- I knew you would like it. I'll go see how Dennis is doing. - Johnny walked away, leaving Dracula alone again.

The vampire drank his coffee, quite happy and satisfied with his drink. Suddenly, the vampire saw the hotel door opening and spat out coffee in surprise and disbelief. A white-skinned, bald vampire, wearing black clothes, and with giant nails, entered the hotel, along with a large werewolf, with darker hair, and two fangs sticking out from the bottom. Dracula knew who it was.

– Nosferatu! - Dracula said, frightened.

The Count turned his back, trying his best to make sure that Nosferatu didn't come. The other vampire's werewolf smelled Dracula's scent, and when he found him, he pointed to his owner. Nosferatu found Dracula with his back turned, covering himself with his cape, then approached the Count.

- May he not notice me and go away. May he not notice me and go away. - Dracula began to say to himself.

- Hello, Dracula. - Nosferatu said behind the vampire.

Dracula felt angry, but took a deep breath, trying his best to put it aside, and looked at the other vampire, with his posture straight, and his chin raised, showing authority.

- Nosferatu. What a surprise to see you in my hotel. - Dracula said seriously with authority.

- I didn't exactly come to stay.

- What do you mean? - Dracula asked with a raised eyebrow.

- I'll tell you later. - Nosferatu looked around the hotel. - You've created a good castle.

– Of course. I did it to protect the monsters from the humans, after… - Dracula couldn't say the end of the sentence, getting sad.

– I'm sorry about your wife. - Nosferatu said feeling sorry for the Count. – She died for the humans, didn't she?

– Unfortunately.

– Do you have children?

– An only and beloved daughter. - Dracula said, confused by the other vampire's questions.

– She heard that she got married. - Nosferatu said, rubbing his hands. – Did you become a grandfather?

– Of an adorable little vampire. - Dracula said proudly.

– How strange. Because from what I heard, your daughter married a human. And that makes your grandson 30% human. And now you're hosting humans in a place that only hosts monsters.

– What are you trying to get at, Nosferatu? - Dracula said, getting irritated and crossing his arms.

– You lost your wife to humans, left your daughter to marry one, have a half-human grandson, and host humans in the hotel that served to protect the monsters. - Nosferatu said, facing the Count. – What happened to that Dracula who studied with me at the camp?

- He grew up, and matured. - Dracula faced the vampire back. – When are you going to do it?

Nosferatu's werewolf began to sniff out the scent of something, which caught the vampires' attention. Suddenly, the werewolf saw Dennis and Winnie walking around and playing around. The werewolf got on his two legs and started to approach them.

- Hey, what's he doing?

Dracula quickly passed by the werewolf and held Dennis and Winnie in his arms, who were left confused.

- Papa Drac, what's wrong? - Dennis asked, confused.

The werewolf then approached the little ones and started to sniff Winnie. The little wolf started to growl at him.

- If you touch me, I'll tell my father! - Winnie said threateningly to the wolf.

- Oh-uh. - Nosferatu approached. - So you must be Dracula's werewolf cub.

- Uncle Drac's werewolf? - Winnie asked, looking at Dracula, who was embarrassed.

- Well, it doesn't matter. - Nosferatu took a letter from his pocket and handed it to Dracula. – Here is an invitation. The convention of Vampires and their werewolves. I hope you will go, and bring your werewolf.

Nosferatu walked away, and his werewolf looked at Dracula, growling and following his owner out of the hotel. Dracula put the children on the ground, and they looked at the vampire in confusion.

– What do you mean my father is your werewolf, Uncle Drac? - Winnie asked her uncle.

– And who was that guy, Papa Drac? - Dennis asked his grandfather.

– Well… - Dracula got nervous, until he sighed in defeat. – That was an old friend from the camp for little vampires where I spent my vacation. And that was his pet werewolf, so to speak.

- So that guy thinks my father is his pet werewolf? - Winnie asked, confused.

- Well, how can I say…

Before Dracula could finish his sentence, Johnny appeared on the scene.

- Oh Drac, I was looking at some rooms and…

Johnny stopped talking, after seeing Dracula's nervous look and Dennis and Winnie's suspicious look.

- Did I miss something? - Johnny asked with a raised eyebrow.

Dracula sighed and closed his eyes in defeat, seeing that there was no way to hide it anymore.

Dracula was in a small room with Johnny, Dennis and Winnie. The vampire had told him the whole story, from the camp, until today.

– So that Nosferatu guy, do you think you still treat Wayne like a pet werewolf? - Johnny asked, confused.

– I never treated Wayne like a pet werewolf in my unlife. - The vampire told them. – After I realized I did it for stupid reasons, I changed my mind. I treated Wayne like a friend.

– And how did your father react to that? - Winnie asked, worried about her own father.

– Well, Winnie. I… - Dracula scratched the back of his neck, embarrassed and afraid of the little wolf looking at him. – I never… told him about that.

Winnie lowered her ears as she looked at her uncle. Dracula shrank on the bed in shame of that.

– I don't know what to do! - Dracula shrank.

– Want some advice? Tell the truth. - Johnny said to his father-in-law.

– Are you crazy!? - Dracula looked at Johnny indignantly. – I'm not going to tell Wayne that I adopted him because of childish jealousy! He'll hate me!

– But if you don't tell him, some vampire, like Nosferatu or his werewolf, might tell him. Then he'll get mad at you. - Dennis said to his grandfather.

– But I don't want to be hated by him. I already think Winnie hates me. - Dracula said pointing to the little wolf.

– I don't hate you, I'm just disappointed. I don't want daddy to be sad. - Winnie lowered her ear sadly.

Dracula lowered his head sadly with that situation. Johnny rubbed his chin, until he had an idea. He then saw the letter that Dracula received on the table next to the vampire.

– And that letter there? - Johnny asked, pointing to the letter.

– Oh, yeah… - Dracula took the letter, but didn't open it. – It's an invitation to the convention of Vampires and their werewolves.

– What convention is that? - Dennis asked, confused.

– A convention for the vampires at camp. I never went because they only allowed me to go with my werewolf. Since I never told Wayne about it, I never attended. - Dracula said, fiddling with the letter.

– That 's it! - Johnny smiled at a plan he had.

The children and Dracula were confused by what the redhead had thought of.

– What? - Dracula asked.

– Go to that convention with Wayne. - Johnny told him. – Only, instead of treating him like a pet, you can treat him like a friend. That way, all the other vampires will leave you alone, and if you want, you can tell Wayne about it.

– It could work. - Dracula said, intrigued by the redhead's plan.

– Wow, Dad, I liked the plan. - Dennis said, smiling at his father.

– Thanks, son. When your father wants to, he knows how to make incredible plans. - Johnny smiled victoriously.

Dracula began to analyze the invitation and think seriously about Johnny's plan. The vampire smiled as he thought.

– I don't need to tell Wayne.- The vampire said, smiling and thinking. – I just need him not to find out.
