In Italy, a heavy rainstorm had overtaken the sky. The rain fell so hard that a piece of dirt opened up to reveal a capsule. The capsule rolled down a hill before it collided with the poles at the end and opened up, the card inside landing on the street.
The card was different from most because it had a golden outline. Eventually, the rain cleared up and the sun began to shine. The bright light reflected off the windows of a nearby house and landed on the card, activating it in the process.
From the multicolored glow, a light brown Pachycephalosaurus with short, black stripes and a glowing dome head.
Upon her release, the pachy charged forward and attacked the first thing in her line of sight: the Leaning Tower of Pisa. She continued to bash her head into the tower several times until the tower went from leaning to straight. Once the tower didn't budge anymore, the Pachycephalosaurus roared and ran away from her 'good deed.'

With the D-Team, they were currently waiting in a long line for a special pudding. At least, Rex and Zoe were. "I get that this pudding is out for a limited time only, but this line is ridiculous." Zoe told Rex as they stood in line.
Rex nodded in agreement before noticing someone was missing. "Hey, where did Max go?" He asked.
"Yeah! This whole thing was his idea in the first place!" Zoe angrily pointed out as she looked for him. She managed to spot him when she heard him laughing.
Max was busy reading a comic book with a grin on his face before he heard, "Hey, Max! Get over here!" He looked up to see Zoe giving him a hard glare while Rex gave a more exasperated look. "Uhh.. Sorry!" He said with a smile as he put the book down and ran back to them. "I got bored waiting."
"Well, if you want any pudding, you'll have to wait in line like the rest of us!" Zoe reminded him in a strict tone.
"Ma'am! Yes, ma'a!" Max responded as he stood at attention like a soldier. "I'll stay and wait as ordered, General!"
But immediately after the declaration, Max began to goof off, "That doesn't mean… we can't have… fun!" He said as he popped into several sports in the line before Zoe reeled him in by the ear. "Wah!"
"Would you stand still and stay in one place?!" Zoe hissed. Max laughed sheepishly before he heard a woman say "dinosaur."
Max looked around for the source, stopping his antics for once, "Did you guys hear that?"
"Hear what?" Zoe asked.
"I could have sworn I heard somebody say the word dinosaur."
While Rex was wondering what exactly he heard, Zoe wasn't convicnced. "Nice try, Max." She told him as he ran off. "Don't think I'm holding your place in line and you can forget about having any pudding!" She sighed to herself. "Honestly, that guy-"
"Is telling the truth." Rex interrupted.
Zoe looked at Rex. "And how do you know that?"
"The Dino Holder's picking up something." Rex responded by showing her his Dino Holder. Sure enough, there was a blinking light.
Realizing there was an actual dinosaur running around, the duo left the line to look for Max. They found him standing in front of an electronic store with TVs in the window. One TV had the news with an anchorwoman reporting. "And now for international news. An incredible report from Italy claims that the Leaning Tower of Pisa was mysteriously straightened by a dinosaur!" The news channel played footage of the Pachycephalosaurus.
"A Pachycephalosaurus?" Max questioned.

At Zeta Point, the Alpha Gang were currently watching the same news report. "Our latest report says that the dinosaur was heading straight for Rome." The anchorwoman reported.
Dr. Z was only half-listening as his eyes were glued to the image on screen. "This is amazing! It's the moment I've been waiting for!" He beamed.
"I don't see what the big deal is." Ursula muttered from behind. "So we finally got cable TV. It's not like we didn't already have the internet."
"So you think we have the cooking channel?" Ed asked.
"I'm talking about the dinosaur, you dimwits!" Dr. Z told them. "It's a secret one of my own creation." He smugly stated.
"A Secret Dinosaur?" The A-trio said in unison. They never heard of that term before.
"That Pachycephalosaurus is a bold invention of mine which took years of experiments to develop, and would allow me to create a new breed of super, powerful dinosaurs!" Dr. Z declared before telling the backstory.
Dr. Z snuggled the egg close to his body as he waited for it to hatch.
"I knew from the moment I found the Pachycephalosaurus egg how special it was. I even hatched it myself."
The egg hatched to reveal a baby Pachycephalosaurus.
"Ah, the joy of watching its birth and gazing into those eyes, so innocent and trusting."
Dr. Z fawned over the baby as he gave it a hug, before it started to hit his chin with its dome head.
"I fused its card with a Move Card and fuses that power onto its super-strong head."
The baby Pachycephalosaurus was put on a test table as Dr. Z turned on some intense lights to power the dinosaur. The result of this experiment was an explosion. Dr. Z coughed as he checked to see what he managed to accomplish.
"The fusion was a success. And from its head, blinding light shined out in all the colors of the rainbow." Dr. Z said as he finished his backstory.
"That's so sweet." Zander sobbed, "He must think your his daddy, Dr. Z!"
"Yeah, I can almost see the family resemblance." Ed commented, making Ursula chuckle at the remark.
"I am the daddy of that dinosaur. And right now, he's like a runaway teenager!" Dr. Z proclaimed, "We've got to get him back or all my hard work will have been for nothing other than giving those brats a bigger advantage!"
"You can count on us!" The Alpha Gang saluted.
"Don't be ridiculous. I can't count on you to stand still for five minutes. That's why I'm going with you."
"I'm sorry? You're going where?" Ursula questioned.
"Rome!" The doctor answered, "I'm going with you to Rome!"

At the D-Lab, Reese and Spike were watching the news as it continued showing the Pachycephalosaurus. "Ooh, it's a Pachycephalosaurus." Spike said with interest.
"There's something not quite right about it." Reese said as she examined the clip of the dinosaur. "Look at it's head."
"Hey, there's some kind of light beaming off it." Spike noted.
At that moment, Max and his friends entered the room. "Where's the Pachycephalosaurus now?"
"It just entered Rome." Reese told them as the kids went to the teleporter.
"Awesome, let's go!" Max said as he joined up with Chomp and Terry.
Spike then noticed that something was off. And by something, I mean pudding. "Hey, where's my pudding?"
"We'll have to go get your pudding later, Dad." Max told him as they teleported away.
"But it won't be available for much longer." Spike muttered as he scooted closer to the door. "But work's more important. I'll just have to wait for the next time they have a special." He declared before bolting out the door.
"It's not like I was going to stop you." Reese sourly muttered, disappointed she wouldn't get any pudding.

"Zander, can't this boat go any faster!?" Dr. Z whined as the pink speed boat designed as a dinosaur face they were using zipped through the water. "My Pachycephalosaurus is waiting for me. Crank this baby up!"
Why they chose sea transportation instead of air is beyond me.
"You got it! I'll push the super-turbo-boost button here, which is totally safe for use!" Zander replied before pressing said button.
Once he did, the boat sped through the water like a skipping stone. "Yahh!" Everyone held on like they were riding a bull in a rodeo. "Slow this thingy down!" Dr. Z ordered.
Zander and Ed pulled the levers hard until the boat came to a steady pace. They both took a large breath of relief at avoiding high speeds. "I didn't see that coming."
"What about that?!" Ursula shouted as she pointed forward. They looked to see a whale right in their path. They all screamed as the boat collided head-on with the large marine mammal.
Thankfully for them, the worst of their injuries was a large bump on the head. Including the whale who swam off angrily and the speed boat was destroyed, forcing the A-trio to push themselves and Dr. Z to Rome with what was left. Which was a pink sheet of metal. "How much longer?" Zander asked as he, Ursula, and Ed kicked. Surprisingly, when you think about it, Ed has no swimming skills unless kicking in water isn't considered swimming.
"Stow it and kick!" Dr. Z grumpily told him from atop a piece of metal.

Meanwhile, the D-Team had just arrived in Rome. When they did, they were greeted by a stampede of frightened people, thankfully not getting run over like the Alpha Gang would have. "Hey, there it is!" Rex pointed forward and the pachy ran by, only briefly stopping and allowing the kids to see the bright light shine off her head. "I wonder what that bright light was on its head?"
"Yeah, it's weird." Max added, "But what matters is that we catch up to it." He looked around and saw some bicycles lying around. "Hey, let's use those!"
"Don't we need helmets?" Zoe asked.
"They're at home!" Max replied, making her even more confused.

With the Alpha Gang, they arrived as well and were looking at where the dinosaur was heading. "We've missed him!" Dr. Z said in anger as he saw nothing but footprints and destroyed trees and flowers. "But just look at all the destruction he's caused." He added with a smile. "I'm so proud of my little Pachycephalosaurus! He's become such a fierce dinosaur. What a chip off the old block!"
Ursula could care less at finding the dinosaur and more on something else. "Something's not right here." She said aloud.
"What?"
"I was told Italian men love garlic, so I ate a bunch and literally bathed in it, yet all I seem to be attracting is weird looks." She said in frustration.
"Maybe it might attract a breath mint." Ed replied as he took a sniff and saw why she might have no crowd.
Suddenly another stampede of people was coming their. "Obviously, I spoke too soon!" Ursula beamed. "My new scent is driving men out of their senses!"
"And yours as well." Ed muttered.
Like I mentioned before, the Alpha Gang was then run over. Dr. Z, who somehow avoided the crowd, looked to see what caused the commotion. "Ah! There he is! Oh, my dear long-lost Pachycephalosaurus!"
The dinosaur perked up once she heard the voice. "Huh?" The Alpha Gang said as they got back up, covered in footprints. Turning around, the pachy's fears were confirmed to be true. Using her 'gift', she blinded them with her light before making a break for it. "Agh, my eyes!" Ursula said as she and the boys were blinded.
"It's like looking right into the sun!" Zander exclaimed. Not even his own sunglasses were helping.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. You'd need special sunglasses to do this." Dr. Z offhandley stated once the light died down, before pulling out a pair from his lab coat.
"That was a very important point. I sure hope you remembered to bring enough for everyone." Ed replied sarcastically, already knowing the answer.
"Am I supposed to feed and clothe you too!?" Dr. Z angrily shouted at Ed.
Ursula stepped in, "Anyway, where'd the dinosaur go?"
"Are you blind? He's right-" Dr. Z stopped mid-sentence when he noticed the Pachycephalosaurus was gone. "Oh, no! Where did he go?! After him!" He ordered his minions as they carried him.

Elsewhere, the D-Team was not having much better luck. "Don't tell me we lost it already." Max said as they braked on the bikes. "Wait, is it a guy or girl?"
"You got me." Rex shrugged before seeing the dinosaur. "Wait! There it is!" Rex announced as he pointed to a moving glow in an ancient looking hallway of columns.
"Wow, look at it! That thing is fast!" Max mentioned.
"If we need speed, leave it to me." Rex stated as he prepared Ace.
"DINO SLASH! CARNOTAURUS, BLOW THEM AWAY!"
As the battle began, the Alpha Gang noticed the change in colors. "Ooh. There's a battle going on somewhere."
"And that means those brats have found my dinosaur." Dr. Z hypothesized as he took off his sunglasses for a better look. "Head to the Battlefield!" He ordered them before being carried away again.
With the fight, the Pachycephalosaurus continued running down the hall with Ace hot on her tail. Growing annoyed, the Pachycephalosaurus used her speed to disappear, shocking Ace as she vanished almost like she teleported. Ace looked back and forth, curious to where his opponent went.
The D-Team watched the fight and were surprised at the speed. "Ace, behind you!" Rex warned.
Ace turned around and was knocked down by the pachy, who had slammed her head into his side. "No! Ace!" Rex cried out.
The Pachycephalosaurus then hit one of the support columns, causing a literal domino effect to take place and one kept on knocking down the other in front and repeat. Ace looked up to see the columns about to fall on him.
"Come back!" Rex said and returned Ace to his card before the pillars came down. "She's not just fast, she's also powerful." He noted as he summoned Ace in his chibi form.
"So, now what?" Zoe asked. Her answer came in the form of the sun appearing and shining its light onto the pachy. The herbivore roared before going after it.
"Let's go!" Max said and hurried off on their bikes.

"Hey, the Battlefield's disappeared." Ed told the others as he looked up at the sky.
"I guess those kids must have captured your dinosaur already." Ursula assumed.
This comment set the mad doctor off. "Are you saying that my own creation of a dinosaur could be beaten by a bunch of snot-nosed little kids!?" He screamed into Ursula's face. "He and I are so connected, that I can still feel his presence." He continued to yell, not noticing the shadow behind him.
"Hey, I do too." Ed said, "I can practically feel him breathing down my neck."
Zander looked behind them and noticed the pachy looking down at them. "Aah! That's because he is!" Zander screamed before he and the other two dropped the doctor and ran for safety.
Dr. Z looked up to see the face of his 'beloved' dinosaur. "There you are, my magnificent child. Look how big and strong you've grown. I remember when you were just an egg." He said to the Pachycephalosaurus as he got back up. "Come back home where you belong and you will be the masterpiece of my dinosaur kingdom."
The Pachycephalosaurus glared at the doctor when she heard that.
"Don't be shy. Give me a hug." The doctor said as he opened his arms. The pachy roared in anger at this display.
"He doesn't seem happy to see his dad." Ursula said behind a lamppost.
"Teenagers. So mean and unappreciative to their parents." Zander cried.
"He could try buying him a video game." Ed suggested.
"Look, that crazy doctor!" The Alpha Gang turned to see the D-Team arrive, hop off their bikes, and run over to them,
"So we meet again." Dr. Z addressed the group. "But this time you won't be getting away, because my Pachycephalosaurus is going to tear you apart! Then I'll get Terry, Spiny, and Tank back with us!"
"That's what you think!" Max retorted, "You should have taken our warning and stayed on your dumb island!"
"Yeah, and you should keep the old lady with you!" Zoe added.
"I am not an old lady!" Ursula rebutted, leaping out from her hiding spot.
"Nevermind her! I'll make you an offer you can't refuse!" Dr. Z told them, shifting back on topic, "You'll give me back Terry, Spiny, Tank, all the cards you stole, and maybe I won't have my Super Dinosaur stomp you into jelly!" He threatened.
"What'd you mean Super Dinosaur?" Max asked.
"What'd you do to that Pachycephalosaurus?" Zoe intoned.
"I merely improved his design." Dr. Z boasted.
"Her." Rex corrected.
"Excuse me?"
"It's a girl." Rex clarified.
Dr. Z grew a tick mark at this accusation, despite it being true. "So, you think you know my own dinosaur better than me? Well, now is the perfect time to test the power of my ultimate creation by destroying you kids and taking your dinosaurs by force." The D-Team gasped before the doctor ordered, "Attack!"
Yet, instead of following commands, the Pachycephalosaurus went the opposite direction of Dr. Z's pointing, shocking and confusing everyone. "Huh? Hey, you're going the wrong way!" Dr. Z shouted as he chased her. The pachy slammed her head into a store's glass window that was reflecting sunlight, shattering it on impact.
"That dinosaur looks like she's confused, or lost or something." Max told his friends.
"Gee, that reminds me of you, Max." Zoe muttered, making the brunette tense up at the comparison. Despite it being true.
"And she follows instructions just about as well as you, too." Rex added.
"OK, I got the picture." Max replied, clearly embarrassed at their comments.
Back with the Alpha Gang, Dr. Z yelled, "Why don't you listen to me?! I am your creator!"
"And don't think for one second that you're too big for the doctor to put over his knee!" Ursula gave her two cents.
"Huey and I will take care of this!" Ed declared as he pulled out the card and struck a pose. "It's showtime!"
Dr. Z didn't take kindly to this and kicked Ed to the ground. "No one attacks my super dinosaur baby unless I order them to!"
By doing this, Huey's card was knocked out of Ed's hand and now floating away. "Agh, the card!" Ed exclaimed.
"I'll save you, Huey!" Zander called out as he and Ed ran after it.
Seeing as his minions were becoming useless, Dr. Z decided to execute Plan B."Raa!" Pulling out the Alpha Grappling Claw, he latched onto the horns on the back of the pachy's head and reeled himself onto her back. When she felt him on her head, this elicited her in trying to buck her unwanted passenger off.
"He's riding her like a rodeo!" Zoe exclaimed.
"Why are you acting this way? Don't you know I'd do anything for you? Have you forgotten about me? Now that you're back, I'll never let you go!" Dr. Z said as the Pachycephalosaurus ran away with him still holding on.
"Doctor!" Ursula, as the only Alpha Gang member now, sighed in frustration as the doctor was carried away.
"Out of my way, old lady!" Zoe said as she rode her bike past her.
"How dare you!"
"Watch it, old lady!" Rex said when he passed by riding his bike.
"Urr!"
"Move! Old lady!" Max shouted as he approached her.
"I'll fix you, little brat!" Ursula said before jumping onto the bike and sat in the back seat, holding onto Max to make sure he didn't try anything.
"Let go! Get off!" Max struggled.
"Be quiet and keep pedaling!" Ursula said as she held her ground, even with Chomp and Terry trying to push her off.
"You weigh a ton! Get off!"
"Forget it!"

Meanwhile, Zander and Ed continued to chase Huey's card until it landed in the statue of a face. "Oh no! It went into the slot!" Ed exclaimed in horror.
"That's the Mouth of Truth." Zander recognized. "They say if you're hiding something or lying the mouth will bite off your hand."
"Yeah, but that's just silly, old superstition isn't it?" Ed asked.
"Well, we can't leave that card in there or Dr. Z will bite off our hands." Zander reminded him. "Guess we're about to find out." Both men swallowed a lump before speaking together. "Ready, go!" And stuck their hands in.
The two men tried to feel for the card but had no such luck in doing so. Realizing that they messed up by both going in, they sighed before pulling their hands out. Or at least trying to. "Aah!" They both exclaimed as it looked like the legend was real. "Now, my hand won't come out! You're hiding something from me, aren't you, Ed!" Zander accused the short man.
"I am not, so you must be lying about something!" Ed accused him.
"Tell me what you're hiding!" Zander ordered as the two began to fight.
"Tell me the truth or we'll be stuck here!" Ed argued. The two continued fighting until they got into positions that made them even more stuck.

"Can't you pedal any faster?!" Ursula barked, "Pick it up! Move it!"
"I'm trying!" Max told her as he struggled to keep the bike up. "Maybe if you lost weight-"
Ursula stopped him mid-sentence by grabbing his cheeks. "Listen here! I'm perfect the way I am!" The shift in weight was enough to cause Max to lose balance and make the bike topple over.
"You're perfect all right. Perfectly evil." Max told her as he sat up, rubbing his head.
"I'm a villain! That comes with the territory!" Ursula retorted.
"Does old come with it too?" Max snarked.
"Grrrr! Now look who's being evil!"
Rex and Zoe watched the scene before turning their attention back to the Pachycephalosaurus and her unwanted passenger.
"Remember the good times we had together? And all the good times to come!" Dr. Z shouted at the dinosaur.
"You should jump off before she throws you off!" Zoe warned him.
"Stop calling my baby boy a girl! And besides, deep down, he knows he belongs to me and there's no way he'll ever throw me off!" Dr. Z yelled before being thrown off. "Wahaha!" He screamed before landing face first on the sidewalk.
"Uh, Dr. Z?" Ursula asked as she ran to his side.
"Where did I go wrong? He hates me!" The doctor sobbed.
"Don't take it personally." She assured him, placing a hand on his back for comfort, "I'm sure this is just his rebellious stage."
A plane soared overhead and shined a light in the pachy's direction. She looked up and went after it.
"Did you see that?" Rex asked. "I think maybe she's attracted to things that shine or reflect light." He theorized. "Let's go!" He said as he rode off to follow her.
Zoe was about to join him but Ursula had other plans. "Not so fast!" She told the pinkette as she dragged her and her dinos off the bike.
"Hey, what's the big idea!?" Zoe asked while getting back up.
"Dr. Z, climb aboard this bicycle I just found." The greenette said innocently.
"Excellent!" The doctor said as he leapt onto the back seat and they rode off.
"You thief!" Zoe yelled.
"Climb on, Zoe." Max volunteered as he allowed her onto the back seat.
"Thank you, Max." Zoe replied as she and her team climbed on and they rode off.

They continued chasing the pachy until she ran into the Roman Coliseum. "Ooh! The Coliseum!" Dr. Z marveled at his surroundings as Ursula stopped the bike and they looked around. "What a perfect place to begin my dinosaur kingdom."
Ursula heard a roar and turned to see the Pachycephalosaurus on the same level as them. "There he is." She pointed out and Dr. Z looked in her direction. Sure enough, the pachy was there, looking for the airplane in the sky.
"Son, I don't know why you keep running away, but I have to put a stop to it!" Dr. Z told her as he pulled out an Alpha Scanner and pressed a button. "Ya!"
An Alpha Ball suddenly appeared and began shocking the Pachycephalosaurus, making her roar in pain. "Doing this hurts me more than it hurts you!" Dr. Z told her, "No, wait! Come to think of it, it's really the other way around!"
The D-Team arrived and saw what the doctor was doing to the dinosaur, "Hey! Knock it off!" Max told him, "You're hurting her!"
"The only thing that matters is that my Alpha Ball will make HIM do as I tell HIM!" Dr. Z explained, emphasizing he believed that this was for the greater good and that the pachy was a male. The D-Team looked in horror at the implications as the ball hurt the Pachycephalosaurus. "Let's go! Attack the brats!"
He was wrong on two accounts as: #1 the pachy slammed her head into the Alpha Ball into the wall and destroyed it. And #2 the Pachycephalosaurus was REALLY done with the misgendering as she leveled a glare towards the doctor and Ursula.
"Oops, that didn't go well." Dr. Z realized and noticed the look 'his' dinosaur was giving him. "Ursula, talk some sense into him!" He ordered his henchwoman as he hid behind her.
"Uh, uh, how can you act this way after all that Dr. Z has done for you! Show him a little gratitude!" She stuttered. But this only made the Pachycephalosaurus have another person to her list and roared in anger.
"I guess we'll just understand each other, you and I." Dr. Z realized. "I didn't want to have to end it this way, but you've given me no choice to teach you a lesson!"
Ursula caught out by grabbing her scanner and three cards. "Here it goes!"
"ALPHA SLASH! COME ON OUT, OURANOSAURUS! SINRAPTOR! NEMEGTOSAURUS!"
After the three dinosaurs appeared, Dr. Z followed in suit and summoned the remaining on hand dinosaurs.
"ALPHA SLASH! GO, TYRANNOTITAN AND TITANOCERATOPS!"
Hades and Kronos joined their teammates, leaving the Pachycephalosaurus outnumbered as they growled at her. "Attack him!" Dr. Z ordered before they all charged forward.
"He's using five dinosaurs to crush his own Pachycephalosaurus!" Zoe gasped.
"We've got to help her out, guys!" Max encouraged.
"Let's make this an all-out battle!" Rex said before they all got ready.
"DINO SLASH! TRICERATOPS, ROAR! FLAME UP, TYRANNOSAURUS REX!"
"DINO SLASH! CARNOTAURUS, BLOW THEM AWAY! SHAKE 'EM UP, SAICHANIA!"
"DINO SLASH! PARASAUROLOPHUS, BLOOM! GUSH OUT, SPINOSAURUS!"
"OK!" Max said once they were all summoned. "Go and save that Pachycephalosaurus!"
Chomp and Terry led the charge as they all but Paris engaged the Alpha Gang as Paris was ready to heal. Chomp rammed Hades in the stomach. Terry snapped his jaws at Kronos. Ace pounced onto Bruce before swinging his neck defensively. Tank swung her tail colliding with Gaia's flank and Spiny swung his claws at Artemis.
As the dinosaurs battled it out, the Pachycephalosaurus took this opportunity to escape and continue her quest. She looked up and thought she saw the plane again, but in reality it was the sun.

"Well?" Zander glared at Ed.
"I guess both of us don't need to hold onto the card." He told him, glaring back.
"Right. So why don't you hold onto it and I'll pull my hand out. Then once I'm free, I'll find someone to come back and help you."
"If that's a lie, your hand is gonna get bitten off ya know." Ed reminded him. Zander immediately started to pale, which Ed noticed. "Why are you so quiet all of a sudden? You were lying about going for help, weren't you?" He accused him. "You were gonna to run off and just leave me stuck here!"
Zander slumped to the ground in shame and confessed. "It's true." Thankfully, he still felt his hand.
"Now what?" Ed asked as he did the same.
Clearly, they were going to be stuck here for a while.

Back at the fight, the D-Team and Alpha Gang were at a stalemate currently as the Pachycephalosaurus ran away from the fight and up the seats of the Coliseum.
Tank swung her tail at Gaia, who managed to avoid and swing her forelimbs at the ankylosaur. This was a success as Tank was hit and sent tumbling.
"Fern Frenzy!" Ursula shouted, swiping a Move Card.
Gaia reared up in her green glow and slammed her forelimbs on the ground, sending a wave of green energy that created prehistoric plants. The plants began to thrash and beat Tank senseless before she was defeated.
"Tank!" Rex shouted and ran for the card.
"Lightning Strike!" Max said, swiping his own Move Card.
Chomp's horns condensed an orb of electricity between them before he fired away. Hades managed to dodge but the move hit Bruce who was in the way. The sauropod twitched before falling to the floor and returning back to his card.
"Tail Smash!" Zoe added.
Spiny glowed blue and brought his tail around, slapping Kronos several times before the final hit sent him sprawling and defeating him.
"Not good!" Ursula admitted, seeing they were two dinos down. She ran to collect them just as Rex got Tank back.
"Artemis! Get my precious dinosaur back!" Dr. Z ordered. Roaring in understanding, Artemis changed her direction from the fight and began to chase the Pachycephalosaurus up the seats.
"Ace! Go!" "You too, Spiny!" Ace and Spiny began climbing the steps themselves to stop Artemis.
Chomp tried to get up the stands but Hades knocked him down. "Hey, leave him alone!" Max shouted at the theropod and his summoner.
"This is what happens when someone defies my orders, even my own dinosaur!" Dr. Z responded, "Burning Lava Mandala!"
Max gulped as Hades glowed red and let out a roar. Chomp just managed to get back to his feet when the ground was getting hotter. Luckily, Paris came in and rammed Chomp out of the way but was struck with the move instead, resulting in her defeat.
"Paris!" Zoe shouted in concern and ran to get her card.
"She protected Chomp." Max noted, touched by the implication. Chomp snorted at seeing his friend defeated and ran back into the fray with renewed vigor.
Meanwhile, the Pachycephalosaurus had reached the top of the stadium but had nowhere to go. Turning around, she saw Artemis coming at her with jaws agape.
"Ace, hurry! Save the Pachycephalosaurus!" Rex shouted as the carnosaur was the faster of the two advancing D-Team dinosaurs.
"Oh, please! I don't think so!" Ursula smirked as she pulled out a Move Card. "Artemis, Soaring Fang!"
Artemis glowed white and sprinted at mach speed. Ace arrived in time to protect the Pachycephalosaurus only for the wild dinosaur to use him as an opportunity to escape. She used Ace as leverage and Artemis bit onto Ace before swinging him away. Ace hit the floor before returning back to his card.
"Spiny, avenge Ace!" Zoe ordered. Spiny roared and swiped his claws at the Sinraptor who nimbly dodged the attacks.
With the Pachycephalosaurus, she landed on the stands and saw that the light had disappeared behind the clouds. This got her even more agitated. Roaring in anger, she charged and attacked the two theropods. She started with Spiny by striking him in the gut with her dome head and knocked him on his side before hitting him rapidly. This rage-induced strike made Spiny lose his energy and revert back to his card.
"Spiny!" Zoe shouted and ran up the stairs to collect his card.
The pachy sent her sights on the next theropod, Artemis. Artemis snarled and lunged but the pachy used this momentum by lifting Artemis into the air. The pachy followed by jumping just as high then descending headfirst with Artemis. The two dinosaurs collided into the stands. The Pachycephalosaurus was unharmed but Artemis was carded. At the defeat of her two opponents, she made her way back to the arena.
"Hey, pal? Did you forget you are supposed to be on our side?" Ursula shouted and rushed to collect the Wind Dinosaur.
"What happened? She's more violent than ever!" Zoe said in shock, now with Paris and Spiny's cards.
"Terry, Neck Crusher!" Max shouted and swiped the Move Card, seeing as he was the last one with dinosaurs on the field. Terry glowed red and charged at Gaia. The Ouranosaurus noticed too soon and was lifted overhead by the rex and thrown into the air. Terry spun around before slamming his tail into the neck of the hadrosaur and Gaia was properly defeated as she collided with the wall of the arena.
Terry and Chomp then began to approach Hades, who dared to make a move. Then the Pachycephalosaurus appeared back in the arena and leapt onto Chomp's back and began hitting him with her head, before leaping off when Hades rammed into the trike.
"What are you doing?! Don't you understand we are the ones trying to help you?" Max exclaimed at the wild dino's attitude.
"She's confused. She thinks that everyone is her enemy!" Rex noted as the pachy turned her attention to Terry. Terry snapped his jaws but the Pachycephalosaurus was too agile for him.
"This is what happens to those who disobey Dr. Z! Ha!" Dr. Z mocked, not understanding the situation.
The Pachycephalosaurus knocked Terry in his jaw before giving an uppercut that sent Terry stumbling back as Chomp rushed to his side. Hades lurked on his side as he growled.
Seeing the three opponents, the Pachycephalosaurus activated her secret weapon. She began to gather light energy onto her dome.
"Dr. Z, what does that light mean?" Ursula asked, somewhat fearfully.
"It's a Super Move!" The doctor exclaimed in delight before correcting himself, "Or something else."
"You have no idea, do you?" Ursula deadpanned.
As the Pachycephalosaurus continued gathering energy, the light was blinding her opponents, keeping them from retreating.
"Okay, let's settle this thing once and for all!" Max declared, pulling out a Lightning Move Card.
"Why not?! I think that's an excellent idea! Volcano Burst!" Dr. Z responded.
Hades tried to ignite a fireball but was unable to concentrate and couldn't finish the move.
Max, on the other hand, jumped into the air before swiping his Move Card, "Lightning Strike!"
Electricity formed from Chomp's horns once again and he fired away only for the Pachycephalosaurus to duck, avoiding the blow.
Eventually, the Pachycephalosaurus had enough energy and fired her attack in the form of a large laser from her dome head. The attack was so powerful it lifted Terry, Chomp, and Hades off the ground. Terry and Hades reverted back to cards as Chomp hit the ground and roared in pain.
Once the blinding light died down, Dr. Z remembered what the attack was. "Oh, that's right! He can use Laser Ray Attack!"
"Aren't you the one who created him?" Ursula asked, both confused and scared that he forgot what attacks he gave his own dinosaur.
"Chomp, are you okay?" Max asked as he, Rex, and Zoe ran over to him. The wind blew Terry's card back to Max luckily.
"Ah, we got Hades' card back!" Ursula beaned as it landed in her hands.
It was then that the Pachycephalosaurus started slowly walking towards Dr. Z. "Will you look at this? My baby has realized his error and he's returning to me!" Dr. Z said as he started to get teary-eyed and having flashbacks of their times together.
"That's it, little fella. Come to papa!" Dr. Z cooed to the baby before she accepted his embrace… then bashed him in the chin.
"Hahahaha! That's it! You remember who your father is at last!" Dr. Z cried with tears of joy, "Good boy!" He hugged that Pachycephalosaurus.
And finally, the Pachycephalosaurus got some well-deserved revenge on the doctor by throwing him high in the air to the point he disappeared in the clouds. "Whaaaa!"
"It looks like even his own dinosaur doesn't even like him." Max said as they just blankly watched what happened.
"Why do we always hurl the ones we love?" Ursula sobbed, pulling out a handkerchief to wipe her tears.
Seeing all the interruptions were taken care of, the pachy was finally able to continue with her mission. "Now where's she running off to?" Zoe asked.
"I think she's trying to get all the way to the sun!" Max said in an alarmed tone. "Chomp, can you get up and stop her?" The Triceratops in question was too tired from the Super Move and reverted back to his card.
By then it was too late as the Pachycephalosaurus jumped off the top of the stadium and began charging another Laser Ray. She fired directly at the sun before suddenly stopping and falling from the sky. Everyone gasped as she returned to her card.
"That jump used up all her power!" Rex realized before the two groups made a mad dash to the card.
"Get the card!" Max shouted.
"Oh, no you don't!" Ursula told them. "Keep your hands off that card! Instead, why don't you take a little trip!?" She taunted before tossing marble from her pockets in their direction.
"Whaa!" The trio yelped as they fell onto the ground. "That's a dirty trick!" Max yelled at her.
Ursula just laughed as she stood triumphantly with the card in her hand. "It doesn't matter how you play the game, what matters is if you win or lose. And it looks like I won this one! Ha, ha, ha, ha!" She laughed again.
Then Dr. Z conveniently came back down and crashed onto Ursula, causing her to drop the card and it floated over to Max's hands.
"All right! The Dinosaur Card is all ours!" Max cheered as he jumped into the air in celebration.

Back with Zander and Ed, they were still slumping on the floor while the battle happened. "Well, it looks like the battle's over." Ed told Zander, noticing the colors return to normal.
"If we don't get out of here, it'll be over for us." Zander replied. The two decided to try pulling their hands out again. "One! Two! Three!" Sure enough, it worked. "On goody, my hand's still attached to me!"
"Yay!" Zander and Ed grabbed each other's hands and danced in celebration, before realizing something important. "Gah! But where's the card?"
"It's still in the mouth." Zander realized before they both put their hands back in the Mouth of Truth.
"I've got a hold of it." Ed told him.
Then they got stuck. Again. "But now our hands are stuck in there again." Zander slumped.
Ed growled in anger at the taller man. "This is all because you lied to me the first time!" He accused him.
"But then I admitted I was lying so the lie was actually the truth!"
"If you're lying about telling the truth about lying, pull your hand out!"
They eventually got out… by the next chapter.

Back at the D-Lab, the Pachycephalosaurus was currently confined for the time being. Now going by Asteroid, she paced back and forth, eyeing her current containment. She would have to stay in there for the time being as her wild and aggressive nature would be a threat to the herd.
From a distance, the D-Team gave a look of pity towards the pachy. She no doubt hated Dr. Z after all the torture she gave him. Plus the misgendering and a few other actions.
"It seems they used some sort of experimental procedure on Asteroid that allowed her to be fused with the Move Card and regular card together." Reese noted as she did some research.
"I can't believe he experimented on dinosaurs like that." Zoe growled.
"That whole Alpha Gang is awful." Max agreed before hearing his dad. "Dad? Aren't you listening? This is pretty important stuff."
Spike turned around and revealed his cup of pudding in his hands. "Not only is it important, this stuff is really good." Seeing the heated stares of the D-Team, he managed to recover quickly. "But not to worry! I managed to get some for everyone!" He presented four more pudding cups.
With that said, the heated stares ceased. "Well, I suppose that makes up for it." Max said as he got his own cup. Zoe, Rex, and Reese shrugged before having their own taste. And like Spike said, it was really good.
"So what do we do about Asteroid? I mean, she seems to be settling down but I don't want to see her locked in that cage forever." Rex said.
"Until she is properly settled and learns how to minimize her dome, she can't interact with the other dinosaurs. It will only take time." Reese sympathized. The D-Team could only nod as Asteroid found herself sleeping with her head not shining.

Yes, to everyone the story is not discontinued.
I don't why I took a massive 10 MONTH break from this story. College? Two study abroad trips? The fact that I had to work at a fast food place for the third summer in a row? I don't know.
But as you can see, I was working on it... give or take. Mainly got some motivation after Drew posted his latest chapter.
Wanted to give the Pachycephalosaurus a name related to the galaxy as I considered the Secret Dinosaurs to related to space. And Asteroid should be out pf the containment next chapter too. Only a precaution because out of the Secret Dinosaurs, I think she was the most violent.
And since this chapter is posted, DK:PE's next chapter shouldn't be too far behind either.
