14. Chapter 14

Hey everyone, it's me again. Unfortunately, this isn't an update—sorry to those who were hoping for one. I'm writing this to address the current state of the story.

I've got around 15k words worth of new content(big shoutout to my homie who's been helping me write and revise everything), but honestly, I'm not satisfied with how it's shaping up. As some of you pointed out, it's starting to feel like I'm just rewriting Danmachi with 2B in it—small changes here and there, but nothing really fresh or new. And yeah, I get that.

Because of that, I'm going to put this story on hold for a while. But don't worry—it won't be one of those long 6-month hiatuses. I just need a little time to figure out where I want to take it and how to give it more depth and originality.

In the meantime, if you're looking for something else to read, check out my other Danmachi fanfic, D/D: Dragon or Die. I've actually got a solid plan for that one (unlike with this Nier story, where I was kinda just writing stuff randomly).

I have a full layout mapped out, so I'm not making the same mistake again.

So, sorry guys, but don't worry—I'll pick this story back up as soon as I've got a clear direction!
