Here is another one and it's a tearjerker.
In the penthouse, Lincoln and the others were being photographed in various ways. One in the glass casing and another one up close. Another of him sitting on a cowboy hat next to a horse shoe game box, the next on of him with one leg on a silver-wear holding case, the one after that his head leaned against a clock with his body laying down next to two cowboy costumes one bandana and the other is the shirt. The following pose is him sitting and holding a larger than him guitar, with two illusions of him playing Western musical instruments, the one after that is him with his arms crossed leaning against a radio with Lion sitting next to it. The second to last photo of him on Lion with the image of the town and has Connie with him and Ruby who's still in the box in mint condition and Lucy with them as well. The last one where Lion is pulling a wagon with Lincoln and Connie in it.
Ronaldo holding the pictures in his hand unfolds them and says to himself as he chuckles: "It's like printing my own money." Then he receives a call and answers the phone. "Yeah? What?" He said in annoyed and disrespectful tone, but quickly changes his tone when he hears it's the toy museum curator. "Oh, oh. Mr. Konishi. Yes, I have the pictures right here. In fact, I'm in the car right now on may to my office to fax them to you. I'm going through a tunnel! You're breaking up!" He said and lied that he's in the car but in reality he's in the penthouse and heads to the office. As he closes the toys comes to life.
Lincoln dismounts from Lion and says regarding his refreshed look, while the others were distended especially Connie: "Oh, wow! Will you look at me? It's like I'm fresh out of the box! Look at this stitching! Potato's gonna have a hard time ripping this!" He boast his repaired arm and turns to Connie, "Hello! Hi! Hello!" He waves his arm to Connie who says with her arms crossed and still upset with him: "Great. Now you can go." She jumps off the table and leaves.
"Well, what a great idea." He said regarding her idea, then turns to the air vent Lion nudges him and encourages to leave, he turns around to see Lion with a sad look, but Ruby says to Lincoln: "Lincoln, don't be mad at Connie. She's been through more than you know. Why not make amends before you leave, huh?" Lucy adds still in a stoke tone: "She's right. It's the least you can do." The white haired cowboy doll turns to Connie who's at the window sitting with her legs up to her chest. Lincoln thought for a moment but looks at Lion's sad eyes and gives in.
He groans and says: "All right. But I don't know what good it'll do." So climbs down the table walks towards the chair climbs up it and sits next to Connie. To which he questions. "Hey. Watcha doin' way up here?" To which she says to him: "Thought I get one last look at the sun before I get packed away again." Lincoln tries to apologize to her: "Look, Connie. I know you hate me leaving, but I have to get back. I'm still Potato's toy. Well, if you knew her, you'd understand, you'd understand Potato's a real…" Connie interrupts him: "Let me guess. Potato's a real special kid. And to her, you're her buddy, her best friend. And when he's playing with you, it's like even though you're not moving, you feel like you're alive, because that's how he sees you." He questions her: "How do you know that?" The Hindu cowgirl answers regarding her past: "Because Carol was just the same. She was my whole world." She stares out the window.
In the past of 1970's Connie was on a bed next to a large cowboy hat, the room was filled with Western objects.
When somebody loved me
Everything was beautiful
A young girl with ash blond hair and a split tooth smile wearing a cowgirl outfit picks up Connie, tilts her hat back and puts on her own hat.
Every hour we spend together
Lives with in my heart
The girl Carol had Connie riding on a toy horse next to a painting of horses riding as if she was in the herd. Then they were under the blanket like a tent with a small light.
And when she was sad
I was there to dry her tears
And when she was happy, so was I
When she loved me
Drive beside a row of tree, Carol and Connie were buckled up, Connie beside her friend, she comes to love for a second to look up happy at her friend.
Through the summer and the fall
We had each other, that was all
The young girl carried her doll to a tree on a hill top with a rope tied to it, and a tire dangling to the rope and tree. They began to swing around as Carol swung in a rotating form.
Just she and I together
Like it was meant to be
The two kept spinning around till they fall into a bed of leaves. Then they return to the room.
And when she was lonely
I was there to comfort her
And I knew that she loved me
But unfortunately the good times weren't meant to last, some other girl grabs the pillow Connie was leaned against pulled off, she falls down under the bed, she sees Carol and her new friends painting their finger nails, then talking on the phone and Connie watched as all the Lincoln's roundup and other cowgirl themed objects were being replaced with 1970's disco colors and posters and music.
So the years went by
I stayed the same
But she began to drift away
Connie curls up into a fetal position as she collected dust with the other cowgirl objects.
I was left alone
Still, I waited for the day
When she's say, "I will always love you"
One day Carol accidentally drops her purse filled with her makeup stuff, some rolled under the bed, Connie goes into toy mode.
Lonely and forgotten
Never thought she look my way
Among the things Carol picked up she found Connie and looks at her one more time.
And she smiled at me and held me
Just as she use to do
Like she loved me
When she loved me
They were in the car together driving one more time, Connie was in Carol's purse, she smiled remembering the days of old. Returning to the hill where they played together in their youth, she exits the car and puts Connie and the other stuff in a box. Connie was shocked, she turns around and looks through the hole to see the car leaving.
When somebody loved me
Everything was beautiful
Every hour we spend together
Lives in my heart
When she loved me
Connie was sadden by her own owner who just left her and the other cowboy toys, all going to donations, they would never see each other again.
Back in the present after hearing the tragic and tearing story, to which Connie says: "You never forget kids like Carol or Potato. (Whispers) But they forget you." He was shocked to hear this he tries to speak: "Connie, I didn't know." But she still not wanting to listen and says: "Just go." She was so sad knowing those days are gone.
Lincoln steps down and climbs down the seat and opens the air vent but as he opens, Ruby questions: "How long will it last for, Lincoln? Do you really think Potato is gonna take you to college or on his honeymoon?" He stops to think of her words. Then Lucy adds to this: "Potato's growing up, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. Such as the tragic fate of toys." The old prospector woman with the ruby eye says: "It's your choice, Lincoln. You can go back, or you can stay with us and last forever. You'll be adored by children for generations." Lucy speaks again: "But if you do go back, just enjoy the moments you have left. That's all you can do." The cowboy doll looks into the air vent seeing the black void and wonders whether he should return and then later no longer wanted, no longer needed and eventually forgotten, or join the roundup gain and always be special at a museum for generations to come.
He turn to them again, Lion walks up to his rider, who pets him and he openly questions: "Who am I, to break up the Roundup gang?" With that the crew smiles as Lincoln closes the air vent, Connie raises her head to see Lincoln choosing to stay.
In a private area, Ruby and Lucy are alone. The female miner says to the outlaw: "He's staying. Our rendezvous, with the toy museum is ensured!" To which the Outlaw replies: "Maybe. But while I am a bit biased, and thinking Lincoln returning to his owner. Even I must admit it would've been a bitter sweet thing." Then Ruby interjected: "But still he's staying the whole Roundup gang together again." As the prospector cheers in excitement, the Outlaw sleeks away into the shadows and says whispering: "We'll see what fate has in store for us. We'll see." She said thinking fate being a fickle mistress indeed doesn't play a straightforward line.
