Rohirrim men and Lothlorien Elves alike take places along the wall of Helm's Deep. I stand next to Legolas and look out at the sea of Uruk-Hai quickly approaching. There are thousands of them. I see no escape, not even with the help of the Elves.

,,You could have picked a better spot." Gimli says, straining to see over the wall. I swallow nervously, my hand on the hilt of my sword. ,,Well lad, whatever luck you live by, let's hope it lasts the night." Gimli now says to me.

,,Your friends are with you." Legolas tells me, gesturing to Gimli and himself.

,,Lets hope they last the night." Gimli says.I sigh and look out over the lands as an army of orcs comes closer. I quickly think about Lostariel, imagine her at my side right now before take a deep breath and beginning to shout orders.

,,A Eruchîn, ú-dano i faelas a hyn an uben tanatha le faelas ( Show them no mercy, for you shall receive none )!" The leader of the Uruk-Hai army lets out a yell, halting the army where they are. The Uruk-Hai starts to growl.

,,What's happening out there?" Gimli asks, jumping up and down.

,,Shall I describe it to you? Or would you like me to find you a box?" Legolas asks the dwarf, who laughs at his joke. The leader of the Uruk army yells and the rest of the army starts pounding their spears on the ground and growling at the people in Helm's Deep. Suddenly an arrow flies and kills an Uruk-Hai.

,,Dartho ( Hold )!" The Uruk-Hai falls down and the Uruk next to it hits its armor. The rest of the Uruk-Hai start yelling and growling before they finally start running towards Helm's Deep. ,,Tangado a chadad ( Prepare to fire )!" I yell to the Elves. They aim their arrows at the Uruk-Hai.

,,Faeg i-varv dîn na lanc a nu ranc ( Their armor is weak at the neck, and beneath the arm )." I hear Legolas say to the Elf bowmen.

,,Hado i philinn ( Release arrows )!" I shout and the Elves release their arrows, killing many Uruk-Hai.

,,Did they hit anything?" Gimli asks. The Elven army continues to kill the Uruk-Hai, until they start to fire back. Arrows that are coming from crossbows kill a couple of Elves in a row, sending them over the wall. The Uruk-Hai now come with ladders.

,,Pendraith ( Ladders )!" I yell to Haldir.

,,Good!" Gimli says. More ladders come against the wall, sending a lot of Uruk-Hai up.

,,Swords!" The Elves change from their bows to their swords, killing Uruk-Hai. I draw my sword as the close combat begins. Uruk's are streaming over the battlements like goblins in Moria now. I fight hard beside Legolas, engaging one Uruk at a time. These orcs are more skilled than other orcs I have seen. They are wearing thick armor and wield strong weapons.

Another ladder plants itself on the wall and orcs begin to swarm up it. Before they can get to the top, I move to push the ends of the ladder sticking over the wall. I look to my left and see Legolas helping, and together we bring it down, killing all the orcs on and under the ladder as it falls. We have no time, moving to defend against oncoming attacks. I find myself face to face with an Uruk Warlord. Warlords generally stay out of sight, protecting their clan overlord, acting through their captains and soldiers. This warlord is a defender, wielding a large shield and a long spear. I know I'm not strong enough to counter any attacks coming from this creature and the spear has a long reach, so I take a breath and dash under his spear arm behind him. The defender turned around, looking for me, but I followed behind to stay out of his reach. I pull the knife from my belt and stand straight, reaching up to stab at its neck. Black blood sprays as I hit an artery and the Uruk falls without a fight, crushing another smaller warrior under him. I sheath the dagger and without looking, I spin around with my sword extended. I come sword to sword with an Uruk who snarls and leans into his sword, forcing me to take a step back to stabilize myself. I slip in a puddle of blood and fall to one knee, pushing upwards as hard as I can to keep the Uruk's sword away from my neck. Gimli's axe swings through the Uruk's neck and the headless body falls. I dodge it and stand up straight, nodding a thanks to the dwarf. I fight off more Uruk-Hai and dodge blows from the Uruk-Hai. Not paying attention for a small moment, I get knocked to the ground by one of the Uruk-Hai. Legolas and Gimli shoot the Uruk-Hai, just as it's about to stick its sword in my chest. I quickly get up on my feet and look down to the Uruk's who are already inside Helm's Deep. I turn my gaze to the many Uruk's who are trying to get in when my eyes catch something. One of the Uruk-Hai with a white mask is running towards the sluice gate with a torch. My eyes widened. There must be a bomb!

,,Togo hon dad, Legolas ( Bring him down, Legolas )!" I shout to Legolas who's still with me on the wall. Legolas fires an arrow at the Uruk, but it keeps running. ,,Dago hon! Dago hon ( Kill him! Kill him )!" I yell again. Legolas fires again but the Uruk has enough energy left to throw himself into the drain. There is a loud explosion, causing both Elves and Uruk-Hai to be killed. I fly through the air and fall to the ground a little later, knocking me out right away.
