Harry Potter was sitting at Rons old wooden desk in the attic bedroom they shared together.

He had a letter in his lap that he was reading. It had been delivered by Ignotus early that morning. It was from Ron.

'Australia has been incredible. It's wicked cool here. Hermione's parents own a horse farm and i even got to ride one of them. It reminded me of a thestral kinda.

Hermione says my riding skills are improving so that's something.'

Harry was interrupted by Ginny sneaking up behind him. She leaned off and draped her arms over his shoulders.

"Ron rode a horse?" Ginny questioned, clearly not believing this.

"Apparently." Harry surmised. "No photo evidence though." He joked.

He says: 'we will be back home soon, hope all is going good there, can't wait to hear how the repairs at the school are coming along. we will be back home June 12th, so we will see you and Ginny then.

Talk soon,

- Ron.'

"I can't believe that they are coming home tomorrow night. I've kinda not missed them. Is that terrible of me?" Ginny joked.

"I've missed them, just a little." Harry quipped.

Ginny chuckled and sat on his lap. Harry held on to her endearingly.

They both leaned over and kissed each other.

Their tongue's danced together softly, and delicately.

Ginny shifted and straddled him.

Harry let his hands roam up her back.

For just a few brief seconds, they lost themselves in the moment.

"Ginny!" Molly callled from several floors away.

Ginny sighed, coming back to reality.

Reluctantly Ginny pulled away, getting up.

"be there in a sec." Ginny called back before making her way to the door.

Ginny winked at Harry before walking out into the hall.

Harry momentarily felt like he couldn't get up right at that moment.

He sat on his chair smiling. He adjusted his pants just slightly as he heard Ginny descending the stairs.

Eventually, he gathered himself fully and began rifling through the other unread letters he hadn't gone through yet. Trying in vain to distract himself.

He felt accomplished when he had finished writing four correspondence.

One to Eldred Warpole, one to Kingsley, and two others to McGonagal and Marjorie.

Kingsley and Marjorie had recommended he meet with Warpole as he had requested, as they felt it would be better to know what he planned to write in his tell all book about Harry that was due to be released in October.

He looked over and realized that Ignotus was sleeping soundly on his perch.

He had been busy the past few weeks. He deserved the rest, Harry thought. He'd turned out to be a great friend and companion.

He'd send the letters out the next day. He wanted Ignotus to rest.

Harry sat and stared out the window momentarily, and he lost himself in a daydream where Molly Weasley hadn't interrupted he and Ginny a few minutes before. He smirked a little considering the possibility.

Envisioning he and Ginny together uninterrupted sent excitement flooding through every vein of his being.

Hermione and Ron meanwhile were enjoying their last night in Australia.

They had visited Hermione's parents for the last time that afternoon, with promises of another visit soon. The Grangers were settling in nicely and loved the new home they had made for themselves.

But, now Ron and Hermione had one last night to themselves before their return home.

They walked along the beach as the sun set over the water.

Ron smiled as the sun illuminated Hermione's hair, which had grown ten fold more bushy while they had been there.

Hermione couldn't stand it, but Ron didn't think it looked too bad.

The waves rolled in, crashing into the shore.

"Are you ready to go back?" Hermione asked him as they walked.

"Hmm. I'm ready to go home. But, I also really love being here with you." Ron admitted.

"Ha, agreed. It'll be nice to see everyone again. I'll miss mom and dad though." Hermione lamented.

"At least the ministry was able to connect their house to the floo network, technically they can visit whenever. Same for us." Ron reminded her.

Realization hit Hermione. "Well, jeez. I nearly had forgotten about that already." Hermione pushed her hair away from her face, chuckling.

"Hmm, very unlike you, Hermione." Ron joked.

"Well, perhaps Ive just been on vacation too long. Back to reality tomorrow." She smiled.

Up ahead of them on the beach a bonfire was underway. People gathered around as music played.

"How fun." Hermione smiled.

She and Ron stood back and watched the fire swirling in the center of a sea of people.

Suddenly, a few people shifted and there were cheers and applause from many of the crowd.

Hermione and Ron were confused until someone in the crowd called out.

"Congrats on the engagement." Someone yelled.

"Ohh, how wonderful." Hermione whispered.

Continued cheers could be heard throughout the crowd.

"We could get engaged." Ron said dreamily before thinking.

Hermione's head turned quickly to look at him.

Ron smiled and shrugged a little, realizing he'd said that out loud.

"It's true. We could. Tonight." Ron said.

Hermione smiled. "Ron, that's crazy. Absolutely mental. You know that?" She chuckled.

Ron nodded. "Eh, a little. But, I love you."

"Oh, Ron I love you too." Hermione grabbed his face and kissed him.

"this thing between us has been a long time coming. You know it has!" Ron beamed.

"But, you're absolutely crazy. we can't get engaged right now. It's too soon." Hermione told him.

"We've known each other nearly 8 years." Ron protested. "We've liked each other for years?"

"Yeah, but not as my boyfriend. That's still new." Hermione smiled, coyly.

Ron smiled.

"Feels like longer." Ron shrugged.

"I know.." Hermione laughed.

"I think I started to love you the day you smacked Malfoy right across the face in our third year." Ron told her.

Hermione smiled. "For me, I think it kinda started slowly, but I really liked you from the start." She admitted.

He smiled, squeezing her hand.

"So, you'd really tell me no if I asked?" Ron joked.

Hermione gave him a small little smirk at this.

"I-I don't know.." she answered quietly.

Ron beamed with happiness.

"But, I'm not saying yes! And, you're not asking!" Hermione swatted at him.

"Hey-hey! No need to resort to violence!" Ron mockingly scolded her.

Hermione smiled. "Alright. We've compromised then." She chuckled.

"Yeah; I suppose we have." Ron agreed, good natured.

They walked back towards their hotel as the moon rose in the sky.

"Anything else you want to do before we go home tomorrow?" Ron asked.

Hermione's heart sped up a little at this question. there was something she'd been wanting to do, but wasn't exactly sure how to ask.

she secretly really wanted to take their relationship to the next level.

Hermione thought about her approach for several long seconds, then leaned over and whispered in Ron's ear.

Ron's mouth dropped fully open.

"I-I'm sorry you'd like to do what?" Ron asked, needing to double check he'd heard her right.

Hermione turned a vivid shade of pink and whispered the same thing to him again.

Ron's mouth still hung open in surprise, gaping at her.

He found himself nodding like an idiot at her request.

"I-I could help with that." He agreed, trying to sound calmer than he felt.

Hermione smiled, coyly and nodded.

"Not here." B-but you know, like back in our room." Run shuffled awkwardly.

"Well, yeah. Not….here..." Hermione chuckled.

"C'mon. I'll bring you back to our room." Ron held out his hand to her and she took it and they journeyed back to the hotel together.

Awhile later, Ron was waiting anxiously on the end of the bed for Hermione. She had gone into the bathroom to change.

Ron wasn't sure why though, the clothes she had been wearing were just fine. But, she had insisted. He assumed it was just one of those girl things he couldn't understand.

Ron looked around, perhaps he should turn the lights off? Or maybe keep them on?

He decided to turn the lights off, but he opened the blinds so the light from the moon streamed in.

Ron waited a few more minutes and paced the floor.

Hermione soon emerged from the bathroom. She wore pajama shorts and a tank top.

Ron could tell she didn't have anything on underneath it.

He swallowed hard.

"Oh." She looked around.

"Is it too dark?" Ron asked quickly.

"No. It's okay." Hermione breathed, walking over to him.

The light streaming out from the bathroom slightly brightened the room too.

Ron stood up, reaching over to her.

"You're so beautiful Hermione." Ron cupped her face.

Her hands grazed his arms, and she looked up at him.

They kissed each other and moved to sit on the bed.

"Are you sure? Y-you can tell me to stop." Ron looked down at her.

Hermione nodded.

Ron leaned over, kissing her again.

His hand roamed her back and he slipped them under her tank top, feeling her bare back.

Hermione reached over and fiddled with Ron's shirt, undoing the buttons as they kissed.

" can I take this off?" Ron asked, pulling up her tank top just slightly.

She nodded.

Ron slowly slipped her tank top off her body, revealing her tanned skin.

Her breasts were round and when Ron touched them they filled his hands up nicely.

Hermione gasped as he thumbed her hardening nipples.

Ron bent his head, quickly popping one into his eager mouth.

Hermione whimpered after a few seconds, feeling his tongue swirling around, and his lips sucking her nipple.

Ron broke away and looked at her. She was breathing heavily. Her breasts were heaving up and down with each breath. Her nipples were small and brown and were puckered.

Ron skimmed her breasts once more with his hands, enjoying her as much as he could, and he trailed his hand down towards her shorts.

Hermione swallowed hard and closed her eyes in excitement, as he went to remove her shorts.

"Here, lay down." He instructed.

Hermione obliged lying back.

"We don't have to go all the way if you don't want too?" Ron whispered.

"Okay." Hermione answered in a small voice as he bent down to kiss her collarbone.

Back at The Burrow, Harry was none the wiser about his friend's activities in Australia.

That afternoon they were supposed to be going back to Hogwarts again to continue assisting in the repairs.

Harry was thumbing through the book Ron had given him for his last birthday.

"Ten Fail Safe Ways To Charm Witches."

He had discovered the book contained information on a topic he'd recently found himself more interested in. And, he also found he had quite a bit of free time for reading now that he wasn't living underground, or a marked man.

Ron hadn't been wrong when he said it wasn't all about wandwork. But, thankfully some of it was.

It wasn't like he had a dad or anyone in his life that he could ask about sex realistically.

Certainly he couldn't ask Ron for pointers. But, he appreciated the book all the same. He was kinda surprised Ron would give him a book that gave instructions on shagging, but he reminded himself that at the time he gave him the book he hadn't been with Ginny at that time technically.

He was particularly interested in a diagram on page 84. So interested, that he didn't hear Ginny coming back upstairs.

He closed the book quickly when he heard footsteps on the landing outside, slipping it into his desk.

Ginny looked quizzically at him and smiled. She walked over to him, putting her hand on the back of his chair.

"Mom says I have to clean out the coop and feed the chickens. So, I might be a bit preoccupied for a little while." She grimaced at this.

"Ahh, need any help?" Harry asked.

"Nahh, it shouldn't take long. besides after I have to get ready for our date this afternoon." She winked at him, depositing herself sideways on his lap.

Harry smiled, rubbing her back.

Molly had begrudgingly agreed to allow them to go to Hogsmeade later that morning, before going to Hogwarts to keep helping with repairs. Of course the only stipulation was that Miller had to accompany them.

"Yes, I can't wait." Harry smiled.

Ginny swiftly kissed him. She turned quickly and grabbed at the book he'd stowed in the desk in front of them.

Harry tried to swipe it back from her but she was too fast.

She twirled around, dancing out of his reach.

"Oh, this is an interesting book." Ginny smiled looking at the cover. "Where did you get this?" Ginny snorted in delight.

Harry sighed. "Ron gave it to me last year." he admitted, his face red.

Ginny chuckled. "That's odd." She snorted. "Seeing you like his sister.

"fair point." Harry nodded.

"Hmmm." She fingered the side of the book just slightly looking at the edge of it.

Harry realized at that second that the page he'd been looking at before she'd come in the room was slightly crumpled.

He died a little inside when she flipped open the book to the exact page he'd been looking at before.

She stared for a second before smiling broadly.

"This is what you were looking at? Mmm, interesting." Ginny flipped the book upside down, in a humorous way.

"Hmm. You think I'm going to do this with you, Potter?" She asked, joking.

Harry chuckled, sighing.

Ginny came over walking closer to him.

"Well, I-I hoped perhaps one day." Harry mused, his cheeks red.

"We'll have to see, it'll depend on your behavior." Ginny joked, flipping through the book.

Harry tried to take it back from her again, but she once again slipped out of his reach, sitting on the desk across from him.

"Oh, page 89 seems like it might be fun." Ginny smiled.

He'd not gotten there in the book yet. He swallowed hard.

"You think I'm going to do that with you, Weasley?" Harry asked cheekily.

Ginny beamed, laughing.

"Oh, I think so. I can be persuasive." Ginny smiled, and gave him a sultry look, putting the book back on the desk.

"But, until then I'll let you keep this." She tapped her fingers on the closed book.

She kissed him once on the temple before retreating from the room. Winking at him before leaving.

Harry waited till she had descended one flight of stairs before grabbing the book and opening it to page 89.

Harry gasped a little and smiled. He certainly hope one day they could do that.

He read on, intrigued.

Harry and Ginny, walked back up the high street leading to Hogwarts castle, Miller was trailing behind them as they walked.

Harry was at least thankful Miller kept his distance. He at least had the sense to leave them be during their lunch date, so Harry couldn't really complain too much, as Miller had waited outside the Three Broomsticks.

As they walked into the Hogwarts grounds Harry and Ginny sighed in happiness. the castle was starting to look more like its former self.

Charlie and Bill were there helping as well.

They walked into the entrance hall together with Miller in tow.

McGonagall was there and greeted them, they hadn't seen her the few days they'd been there helping.

Potter, Weasley it's good to see you." She smiled and nodded curtly.

She noticed Miller a second later, looking surprised.

"Jeremy Miller, it's been too long. How's the Auror department treating you?" McGonagall asked.

Harry looked back at him. He's never heard anyone call him by his first name.

"Oh, very good. I'm ah, Potter's keeper today." He explained gesturing towards him.

McGonagall nodded. "Well, thank you for helping, all of you. We only have so much time to get the school back up and running. We really need some help down in the dungeons and the Slytherin common room today, it's still a wreck. I assume you still know the way?" She asked, brow raised.

Miller chuckled. "We'll find our way."

Harry was surprised by this, but followed when Miller started off towards the Slytherin common room.

The dungeons were particularly demolished, there was a massive pillar that had cracked the stone floor horribly leaving a massive gaping hole in the floor, and there was a horrific smell in the air, it was like nothing Harry had ever experienced in his life, the only time he'd smelt anything even close to that bad was at Batildas house.

Ginny must have agreed because she gagged covering her mouth.

Miller looked apprehensive but peered over the pilar, than down through the massive hole in the floor.

He sighed loudly, and briefly closed his eyes.

"What?" Harry asked, walking over to peer down the hole.

"Potter. It's bad. I don't recommend you look." Milker spat quickly.

"There-there's a body down there. Bout 80 feet down or so." Milker told him soberly.

Ginny was standing about ten feet behind them and gasped.

"T-that's why it smells?" Harry asked.

Miller nodded, grimly. "Yeah. Everybody always joked that there was a hidden chamber below the dungeon, just never thought I'd find it like this." He whispered.

Harry briefly looked back at Ginny who clearly hadn't heard, as she was looking over at them confused and worried.

Harry's curiosity got the better of him and he looked down through the hole, he could see the floor of the chamber of secrets far below, with a partial skeleton in black robes sprawled out, face up.

Harry covered his mouth. It was a horrific sight.

"If it makes you feel any better. He looks like he was probably a Death Eater." Milker told him quietly.

Harry nodded. Still unsure how he felt about it.

"This area is gonna take more hands. Let's tackle the common room first, then we'll get some extra people to help with this. The pillar is going to have to be moved first." Miller pointed out the common room ahead.

Before following after Harry and Ginny he conjured a white sheet from his wand, placing it over the large hole, hiding the body from view.

Harry nodded auite agreed with his choice, and then he made him way over with he and Ginny to the common room.

"Damn it." Milller said as they walked into the hub of the common room.

The common room was not in good shape at all. There were cracks in the walls and chairs and tables were overturned.

"I'm assuming it doesn't always look like this?" Ginny glared around, in shock.

"Not particularly." Miller groaned.

Harry looked over at Miller oddly at this.

He laughed seeing his face..

"Yup, you guessed right. I was a Slytherin." Miller laughed.

Harry blinked.

"Wait, really?" Harry asked.

Miller scoffed at him. "Don't worry Potter, we're not all bad."

Harry chuckled awkwardly.

Ginny looked at both of them.

"Well, let's get to it." He told them.

Together, for the next three hours they put the Slytherin common room back together.

Once they were done they felt good about the process they had made.

"C'mom, I sent a message to McGonagall about the hall outside." Miller instructed them to follow him back out into the dungeon corridor.

The horrid smell hit Harry and Ginny's nostrils instantly once out in the hall.

Ginny covered her nose and mouth with her shirt.

Harry couldn't help but think the stench was worse the second time around.

Up ahead of them McGonagal and Flitwick were coming down the stairs.

"He's down there?" She asked Miller, looking over near the hole in the floor.

"Yeah, just a warning, it's not pretty." Miller explained.

McGonagal and Flitwick nodded grimly.

"If you need help I could assist?" He offered.

"Thank you, Jeremy. But, we've got it I think." Flitwick sighed.

Miller nodded. "Well, I'm getting these two out of here, we've done as much as we can today."

McGonagal nodded. "Thank you all, for your help."

Harry and Ginny exchanged pleasantries quickly and then followed Miller back up to the entrance hall to help with other tasks around the castle.

Later on, once they went back home. Both Harry and Ginny were exhausted and relaxed on the sofa for awhile while they waited for dinner to be ready.

Molly had decided to make a full course dinner to celebrate Ron and Hermione coming home.

Ginny and Harry sat at the kitchen table waiting for dinner and for Ron and Hermione to get home.

Arthur was in the den listening to the wireless with Percy and George who were also there for the home coming.

Suddenly, Molly Weasley squealed in excitement, clapping her hands to her face, looking at the window.

"Ohhh, there they are." Molly beamed and practically ran from the house to greet her youngest son.

"Ah, and the prodigal son returns home." Ginny said, as she glanced out the window. A freckled looking Ron and a very tanned Hermione were walking up the lane towards the house. Hand in hand.

Harry smiled. "C'mon. Let's go greet them."

Ginny nodded happily and they followed after Molly into the yard.
