TRUE LOVE FIXES ALL BROKEN HEARTS
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.
Okay, this story is getting an overdue update, and don't expect a long chapter, I'm trying to get used to writing again, after dealing with some personal issues.

Konoha-Ichiraku Ramen
It was a slow day at the stand, with Teuchi making sure to keep today's food as fresh as possible. Ayame is out front, with the other waitresses, making sure to keep the place nice and tidy, for the few customers that do visit. The only customers eating there are mainly civilians needing a quick bite during their lunch break. Most of the shinobi are out of the village, doing missions to keep the village economy thriving.
When she heard the bell at the entrance, Ayame looked up just as Amaru came stepping in, looking like a zombie in her doctor's robes. Deciding to take her order personally, Ayame went up to the counter that Amaru was heading towards, wanting to help her deal with whatever issues that she needed a break from.
After giving her some of the strongest black coffee they have at the stand, "So Amaru, what are you in the mood for, today?" Ayame asked.
"Give me some of your salmon yakisoba, please." Amaru requested, before downing her coffee in one swift breath. "And keep the coffee coming."
Giving her a nod as a reply, as well as a slight giggle, Ayame went to get the order out of the way. After a couple of minutes later, she returned to give Amaru her meal and took a seat next to her. Her father told her to go ahead and take a small break, due to the business having a bit of a slow day. "Rough day at work, Amaru?" she asked, breaking the ice between them.
"That would be the understatement of the year." Amaru answered back, before taking a small sip of her coffee this time. "Today was when we had to give shots to everybody from the academy, staff, teachers and students. Some of them being more emotionally draining than other." She explained, before taking a bite out of her lunch, while Ayame gave her a sympathetic look, "But once we got done with the adults, the children turned out to be easier to handle."
Ayame's eyes shot out wide at this, the look of shock being too obvious for anyone to see. "This caused "Wait, you mean to say that some of the teachers were . . ." She started to ask yet couldn't find the words to finish it. All she got was a nod in return.
This was when Teuchi's laugh rang out from the kitchen, getting people's attention. When he stepped out, wiping his hands with his apron, Teuchi turned towards his daughter. "Ayame, even the toughest of shinobi can have moments of weakness, to where they need to let their inner child." He spoke. "Chances are, due to the Academy being closed today, a lot of the sweet shops are going to be busy providing relief for a lot of people's pain."
Ayame and Amaru gave each other a brief look, as if thinking the same thing. Only for Teuchi to put a damper onto their parade. "Don't bother, since Naruto was forced to endure worse with the doctors, to where he had to grow up faster than most kids." He said, "And thanks to him housing the Kyubi, he has one of the strongest immune systems, any living being on this world could have."
"Well, it's probably for the better." Ayame said, "I mean, I can recall times when you got sick, and how close mother was to breaking a few bones, whenever you asked her for something ridiculous."
Teuchi blushed at the memory, while rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah, and she would get even by demanding me to buy some of the most expensively ridiculous things, that would only effect my wallet." He replied, thinking about the memories. Then another memory appeared, one that made him depressed, "When we lost her in the Kyubi attack, for a brief moment, I was no different than the other villagers who despised Naruto in the past."
This caused the two women to look at him in shock, over the fact that the one who kept Naruto fed for most of his life, had a bit of hate with him in the past. "What was it that stopped you from hating Naruto, Father?" Ayame asked.
Letting out what feels like a painful sigh, "Your mother did, Ayame." Teuchi answered back. "It was her last words to me, before she gave her final ones to you on her deathbed." Looking up at the two in the eyes, "She told me that I should not hate Naruto for something that he had no control, along with the fact that she would haunt me to no end in my dreams, if I were to even think of comparing him to the beast he is carrying inside of him."
After a moment of silence, Ayame couldn't help but give a small giggle at this. "Yeah, that definitely sounds like her, knowing when to stop you from making what could have been, the worst mistake in your life." She spoke. "And soon, you'll be having grandchildren, to spoil to no end."
While he is having mixed feelings of the idea of not only becoming a grandfather, and being reminded of how old he is now, Teuchi couldn't help but give off a small smile. "Would be a lot more fun, than hearing about my own daughter's sex life." He said, in a zing like manner, causing said girl to blush up a storm. "Anyway, enjoy your break with friend, while you can. Chances are that the dinner rush might be the one ump we'll get for the day."
Once Teuchi went back into the kitchen, Ayame and Amaru went back to having some idle chit-chat, before both had to return to their jobs.

Demon Country-Mid-Day
It was the day after Naruto and his group arrived at Shion's home, and Shion was catching them up on what is to happen during their stay there. Last night, once she was told that Naruto had arrived, she was trying to have enough control to not go beyond the hug she gave him, to have enough courtesy to let everyone rest up before she got to break him in.
"So, as you can see Naruto, Demon Country is going through extensive changes, and one of them is that I am no longer a priestess due to the religion being obsolete." Shion explained. "And with this arranged marriage to you, Demon Country would use it to establish trade agreements with Konoha, and her allies. Yet at the same time, would like to open arrangement, involving our children."
"What kind of arrangements would they hope to have, involving a child between you and Naruto?" Koyuki saying, not fully catching on to what they were just told.
"It involves the Kyubi." Temari started to explain, "They probably believe that if a child between you two were to include something from it, like its chakra, it could activate your bloodline in that child. Which in turn, they could try to request it back, for some questionable reason."
While Shion blushed at the thought of having a child with Naruto, what was said made her angry, after finally realizing the reason behind the upcoming negotiations. "So, they are throwing me out, after ruining my life, while hoping to ruin our child's life for more superficial reasons." She said, some memories of her past coming back haunt her.
After a brief conversation with his tenant, Naruto spoke up, getting their attention. "I asked Kurama, and he says that even if our child were to get some of his chakra, it would not be able to revive the bloodline. Due to both him and Moryo being completely different beings, and if your bloodline came from Moryo, Kurama's chakra would probably cleanse any remnants of it from existence." He explained. Then after being told one other thing from Kurama, "He also wants everybody in the family to refer to him by his given name, since Kyubi has become more of a slander name, due to my upbringing."
The girls didn't even need a second to think about it. "Of course, Kurama, we would try to use your given name, although it would take some time getting used to it." Hinata said. Ever being the diplomat of the family. "Since you too are apart of our family, we will defend you as well from the outside world."
Naruto could feel Kurama feeling both happy, and slightly embarrassed, at what Hinata just said. He was also happy, knowing that at least his tailed beast is getting the respect that he, and his fellow beasts, should have gotten ages ago.
This was when Koyuki decided to ruin the moment, at least for Naruto. "And if Naruto figures out a way to release you, that won't lead to one or both of your deaths, we would make sure to give you all the belly rubs you can handle." She spoke out, while the other girls joined in the conversation, making it sound like Kurama would be treated like a pet.
Naruto started to get a headache, from Kurama yelled at him to hurry it up to make it happen. The only thing going through his mind is, 'Oh great, now I have pressure going on both the inside of me, and around me from the outside.'
When one of the girls started to go too deep imagination, to where Shion said, "And once we have daughters, they could dress Kurama in ribbons and other pretty things." Kurama backpedal on gaining his freedom, saying things like: 'I take it back.'
As much as Naruto wanted to play on Kurama's change in tune, he decided to be a pal, and stand up for him. "Girls! Girls! Girls! Listen up!" He yelled out getting their attention, "You're starting to make Kurama sound more like a toy, than a living being who deserves to live his life like everybody else. Once we do have children, one of the first things we are going to do, is teach them on how we should respect all life within this world."
While the girls were sporting a guilty look, after realizing how they let their imagination get the best of them. They also started blushing a bit, when Naruto mentioned their growing family in the future, yet controlled it enough to understand fully what Naruto had said about how they would be raising their future generations. Temari spoke up this time, "You're right, Naruto, we need to be a better example for the future generation, if we want to keep them from living the nightmares we had to grow up with." She said, while the rest of the group nodded in agreement, recalling briefly their own personal hell.
"Also, once I do find a way to safely free Kurama, it is going to be up to him on how he intends to live his life." Naruto declared, "If he decides to stay with our family, we will treat him like a family, and nothing more."
While Naruto received a honest thank you from Kurama, the girls decided to have a brief chat, before agreeing to the terms. This was when Yugao spoke up, getting back to the original topic, "So when does Naruto have to start negotiating with this country's leadership?" She asked.
"Sometime tomorrow, there should be a summons coming in soon." Shion said, although she didn't sound too confident. "The people taking over, are politicians who are way out of their element. Chances are, they are going to try and find a way to get things go their way, while preventing Konoha from getting something decent."
After much more discussion, they decided to just spend the night cuddling while sleeping, and nothing more, to the girls' disappointment. The main reason is so that they can attend the meeting fulling energized, and ready for whatever political game they would need to contend with. But first, they need to go grab some dinner somewhere in the village.

Konoha, Namikaze Compound-Nightfall
Sitting in the living room, after enjoying a nice quick dinner from a long day of work, the current residents [Ino, Kin, Ayama and Hana] are just sitting around, discussing their day. While Hana's dogs are outside, enjoying the fact that they have a huge yard all to themselves, when compared to the Inuzuka compound being crowded with other people's dog partners.
Deciding to have a chat about the future of their family, Kin spoke up first. "So Ino, me and the other fiancés have been discussing about our upcoming marriage to Naruto, and the one thing we are wondering, is did you even have a plan to help organize the family?" She asked, hoping to get some answers.
When Ino hesitated a bit too long, the answer was a bit too obvious, considering Ino's personality. "You don't have one, do you?" Ayame said, the question being obviously rhetorical. When Ino only gave a small nod in return, "So what is your plan, exactly, since you would be the first wife of the family?"
Giving off a small sigh in return, Ino decided to be more honest to everyone, including herself. "I don't even have a plan to begin with, okay." Ino started to say, looking like she might break out into tears. "All that I do know is that I don't want to be the alpha female in the family, or any kind of big responsibilities of somebody n charge."
Ayame, who was the closest to the blonde, stood up from her seat, and placed herself in the one next to Ino. Placing an arm around the younger woman's shoulder, providing her with some much-needed strength, "Have you discussed this with Naruto, before he left?" The older woman asked her.
Ino nodded her head in reply. "Yes, I did." she started to say. "It was just after Lady Hokage announced that Naruto had to restore two clans at the time. In a way, we had a bit of a head start when we decided to allow Hinata join the group." Blushing a bit, briefly remembering Hinata's initiation into the family.
Giving her head a slight shake, to remain focus on the story, "Anyway, the three of us had a long discussion about how our family well be structured. Once Hinata gave a strong explanation of what I would have to do, if I were to decide to become Alpha Wife, I refused it on the spot." Ino continued her explanation. "I admit that I am bossy, and in the past, I would have tried so hard to make myself out to be a queen, but after being told the responsibility that would come with it, made me realize that it would be better to share the responsibility with my fellow branch wives."
"So mainly, you didn't want to risk becoming a mini-Tsunade, right?" Kin asked, with a bit of a grin. "You didn't want to take on too much responsibility as a leader and decided to share the misery in a way."
Ino looked like she was about to take that comment personally, but calmed down, after knowing how true that statement was. When she was a clan heiress, she started to act like she was some sort of princess, and most of the village was beneath her in status. Once she became a Sasuke fangirl, it became even worse, because she was practicing becoming Sasuke's 'queen,' by treating people like they would one day become her servants.
Yet once she grew up more as a kunoichi, to start experiencing life changing moments like war, Ino decided to take the time to figure out what kind of life she wants to have in the future. "It's true, although compared to who I was in the past, most of you would have mutinied against me, in order to teach me a harsh lesson." She spoke. "And all those times I spent with Naruto, Hinata, and the rest of you, well, my parents would say a miracle took place when I started to have my own family."
After deciding to stop the conversation there, the quad decided to have one last discussion, before turning in for the day. After all, they had another set of work days to contend with.

Here is the latest chapter, after not updating for a few years. All I have doing these past few years, is getting older, and trying to find the time to squeeze fanfiction while I'm adulting. Read and Review.
