Training Field
Ash has started to go to the training fields to watch the group train even more now to see the strengths and weakness to each member. He watches as Hicca and Toothless lock talons once more. He finds they the pair are an even match, but he can see that Toothless is a better fighter. The two sets of twins are training with slings and blades. Stormfly and Hookfang are watching from the side lines making sure nothing goes wrong but they are mostly watching the twins. Ash stands alone as the rest of his gang are doing whatever and at the moment he does not care. He watches as Toothless throws Hicca to the ground only for her to take him with her. However, Toothless manages to twist just enough to pin Hicca down. He holds her down while she tries to escape. But she can't escape from his talons, so she yields. Toothless gets off her then helps her up. Once back on her feet they bump heads, "I was so close love." Hicca says out of breath while Toothless answers with a chuckle, "It takes time Hicca. Soon you will be able to get out of that."
Hicca nods her head, and they part to watch the twins fight. Stormfly goes over to Ash and when he sees her he puffs out his chest. Stormfly rolls her eyes, "Stop it. I am not impressed by the likes of you." Ash drops his stance and a moment later says. "Then what do you want?" Stormfly speaks "I should be asking you that. Ash huffs then Stormfly asks, "Why are you here watching the training sessions when you clearly don't want to be here." Ash answers, "I am just seeing how the runt fights now." Stormfly glares at him then says, "Hicca is not a runt. Call her that again and I will rip every single one of your feathers out. Then I will throw you into the sea to drown."
Ash flinches and tries to hide that but Stormfly sees it but she says nothing. Stormfly takes a deep breath then says, "Look you are not at Berk, none of us are." Ash says nothing and even looks away. Stormfly steps closer. "Hicca is a fighter and our leader. She has earned her place unlike you." Ash looks to the ground and Stormfly says, "I don't know why you hate her so much. But you are a sad owl who will gain nothing by being a pain in the tail feathers." He looks away from her, "I believe you can change." That makes Ash look at Stormfly in shock. Stormfly then says, "You need to give us a chance if you want everyone to give you one." She turns to walk away then Ash yells out, "Why be nice to me?"
Stormfly answers without turning around, "I used to be like you." And keeps walking back to Hookfang and the others. Ash is stunned by this but stays at his spot. He does continue to watch the training sessions the group does. He keeps Stormfly's words in mind and when the training session comes to an end he begins to walk away. However, he hears strange noises and lights coming from a dark hollow. He looks around to see no one so he quietly sneaks into the hollow and presses himself into the wall.
When he looks to watch he sees the King standing in front of an orb then watches as The King uses his wings to summon energy from the orb. Ash had seen this before at the Red Death's nest. He realized that The King is using forbidden "magic" as many called it. The King looks to the orb then says, "Soon the final part of the battle will begin. I need to send Toothless to scout out The Red Death's nest. He will need to be captured. Hicca and her friends will follow then when the moment is right, I cast this spell to make her core so painful that she will kill the Queen and herself. I will not lose this power to anyone. Not even my own creation." Ash is stunned as he hears this and quietly backs away. He manages to get out the door to be stopped by Cloudjumper.
Cloudjumper asks, "What are you doing Ash?" Ash quickly answers, "I'm sorry I got lost in there. I am just passing by." Cloudjumper nods his head then steps to the side watching Ash vanish from sight. When he goes inside to see The King who asks, "Is he running?" Cloudjumper nods his head not saying anything. The King then says, "Good. Even if he shares this with the others about what he learned. He will out himself as being The Red Death's spy." Cloudjumper then says, "He may still tell them." The King says, "He won't. He is a coward." Cloudjumper just nods his head watching Hicca in the orb flying with her friends. The King has gone mad with power letting the orb corrupt him and his mind.
Ashes Hollow
Once inside his hollow Ash drops to the ground not sure what he will do. He knows if he says anything the others will know he is a traitor. But by not saying anything he condemns many owls to death. Ash begins to walk around unsure what to do and what to do with this new knowledge. He looks around to see that is truly alone. When he looks out the hollow, he can see Hicca and her friends fly around, laughing and having fun. He even watches Fishlegs and Meatlug join in and they dance around each other. Ash slash at the wall in anger then retreats deeper into the hollow. When he gets to his nest he hears Stormfly's words once more, "Give us a chance and we will give you one."
Ash sighs then sits in his nest and soon finds ways to fall asleep and in his dream, he sees himself flying with non-other Stormfly. They dance around each other and having fun. When he chases after her around a corner, he runs into Hicca who just stares at him in hate. Ash for once says nothing and looks down at the ground. When he looks up each and every one of the group's faces can be seen. All stare with hate and anger. Then their images become energy and wrap around him, suffocating him. When Ash does wake up with a yell he finds himself in his nest. He takes a few deep breaths and takes the time to settle down. Letting sleep claim him once more.
Authers Notes: Man posting late once more. This has not been a good week for me. But that is ok as a new chapter is now ready. I do hope everyone is still enjoying this weird tale. I must say that we are slowly coming to the end of this tale. One tale ends and another begins. I do apologize for once more posting late. I still like to thank everyone who comes by to read and to thank everyone who follows. You all are still awesome and please do enjoy this new chapter.
