After coming out of the bathroom in his pyjamas, Casey puts all his dirty clothes in the washing basket and takes a seat on the couch, scrunching his knees up to his chest.

He flicks through the TV channels until he comes across an afternoon movie.

Brax continues on with chores and it isn't until four o'clock when they hear a car pull up out the front.

"Thanks for letting me hang out again at your place," Kyle says.

"No worries, dude. It's great fun jamming with you. Maybe we can do it again next weekend? Maybe you'd like to even stay over the Saturday night and we can catch a movie? I think Scott wants to check out that new Sonic movie playing at the cinema? It was his favourite video game as a kid," Toby says.

"That sounds awesome, but I do have to ask Brax first," Kyle replies.

"No sweat; just let me know."

"Um...do you think it would be okay if Casey was to come along; just to the movie of course?" Kyle asks.

Toby shrugs.

"Sure I guess it's okay, but he's not going to slobber over Scott again with his questions is he?" Toby jokes and laughs.

"I'll tell him not too, but I can't promise anything; he can't help getting excited," Kyle defends in a casual tone.

"Well in that case, I'll prepare Scott," Toby laughs, "I'll wait to hear back from you and in the meantime: see you around school tomorrow, Ky!"

"Thank Toby; bye," Kyle farewells and then takes his guitar and walks up the path to his house as Toby drives off.

Casey looks away from the TV as the front door opens, revealing his brother.

"Hey Case," Kyle greets and smiles at Casey.

"Hi!" Casey says back, enthusiastically.

Brax gives his attention to Kyle as he moves away from the dining room.

"Hey, kiddo; how was your day?"

"It was really good. Toby and I managed to work on a bit more of our song and it's sounding great," Kyle replies happily, "I am a bit tired though so is it okay if I put my stuff down and go for a shower?"

"Knock yourself out," Brax replies.

Casey watches Kyle leave towards their bedroom, a bit disappointed he couldn't tell his brother about his day yet, so turns back to the TV to continue watching the movie.

Brax smiles at Casey and approaches the youngest.

"You doing okay?" he asks and runs his hand over Casey's hair.

Casey shifts his head back to look up at Brax.

"Yeah, I feel okay, maybe still a little queasy," Casey replies honestly.

"Just keep relaxing and you'll be fine. Just let me know if you need anything okay?" Brax comforts.

Casey nods and returns his attention to the TV before Brax walks off to his bedroom.

Just after five Kyle eventually finishes in the bathroom.

He walks back to his bedroom having forgotten to take his clothes into the bathroom and gets dressed in his pyjamas and penguin oodie.

"Are you all organised? I was going to call up for some Chinese for dinner," Brax says as he spots Kyle entering the room.

"Yeah," Kyle answers as he walks towards the couch.

"Have you decided whether I can have Chinese too?" Casey asks, causing Kyle to look at him confused.

"Yes I have and you may have some fried rice and a bit of honey chicken, but no spicy meals," Brax confirms.

Kyle sits down next to Casey on the couch.

"How was your night with Romeo?" Kyle asks.

"It was so awesome. Romeo and I went to Luna Park and we had so much fun," Casey explains excitedly.

"That's really good. I'm glad you had fun, Case," Kyle says with a smile.

"Yeah, but one downside was we did this competition of who could eat in excess and go on the rides without being sick, in which Romeo won by sheer luck. I swear, Ky, I saw more undigested hot dogs come back up than I've seen cooked ones in my life," Casey explains, exaggerating.

Kyle scrunches his nose in disgust.

"Yuck, Casey; that's so gross; I did not want to hear that! I can't believe you even did that!" Kyle exclaims and turns away horrified.

"Oh I got some really cool prizes though I was waiting until you got home to show what I got and I got something for you too," Casey exclaims and gets up from the couch just as Brax returns.

"You're going to have to wait on that, kiddo. Chinese is being prepared so I'm going to go pick it up. Can you boys set the table for me?" Brax asks.

Casey hangs his shoulders.

"Sure, Brax," Kyle replies and gets up.

Brax smiles and grabs his keys and heads out the door.

"Hey: you can show me later and I'm honoured you thought of me to get me something; you didn't have too," Kyle says.

Casey shrugs his shoulders and shuffles towards the table and takes the napkins from Kyle and places them on the table whilst Kyle then places down the cutlery.

A short while later Brax returns with the Chinese dinner.

With all the boys sitting at the table they start to dish out their food.

After a few mouthfuls from all the boys, Casey reaches over and stabs a few pieces of the Satay beef and Brax glances over at him.

"Not too many, Casey. You know I told you I want you to go easy on your stomach," Brax states.

"I know. I only want a few pieces," Casey says with a pout.

Brax relents and shakes his head as Casey takes three pieces of the Satay beef to add to his plate.

"So did you do anything more than be sick at Luna Park and win prizes, while over at Romeo's?" Kyle asks.

"We watched some funny fails videos before bed and didn't get up until about lunch time today," Casey explains.

Kyle nods and has a mouthful of food.

"You mentioned a song you and Toby were working on, Kyle? Is this something we'll get to hear one day?" Brax asks, feeling proud of his little brother for achieving something he loved.

Kyle blushes.

"Maybe; even though we've come a long way with it, it's still a work in progress," Kyle explains.

"Is it like the same weird emo music you're always listening to?" Casey asks in which Brax scowls at him.

"Casey, don't say bad things about Kyle's skills and music choices."

"But I'm not. I know you're really talented with that, but no offense Ky your taste in music sucks, you need to liven it up sometimes with some rock," Casey says casually, looking at his brother.

"I'm not like you Case," Kyle says, "Anyway, Brax: Toby asked me if I could hang out again next Saturday and suggested going to the movies with him and Scott, maybe even their younger siblings. He offered for me to sleep over. Is that something that is okay with you?"

Brax chews a mouthful of food and nods.

"Don't see why not if you would like to go you may," Brax responds.

"Thanks Brax; that's awesome and actually Casey," Kyle starts and turns to face Casey, "I asked if you could come for the movie too."

Casey's eyes light up.

"Are you serious? You asked if I could come?" Casey beams.

"I just said that," Kyle chuckles.

"You are so awesome, Ky! I can't believe I'll get the chance to go to the movies with Scott Jenkins! Wait till I tell all our friends! I can stuck it to Romeo for beating me in our competition!" Casey exclaims.

"Settle down Case," Brax says as Kyle laughs at Casey's boisterous enthusiasm.

"I can go can't I Brax? Please, please say yes. It would mean so much to me and be a once in a lifetime opportunity!" Casey begs.

Brax shakes his head and laughs.

"Yes you may go, Casey, providing homework and chores are all done," Brax informs.

Casey rolls his eyes.

"Oh, fine; how come you didn't give that ultra thing to Kyle?" Casey moans.

"I didn't give an ultimatum to Kyle because I don't have to constantly remind him to complete his homework and chores," Brax implies, raising a gesturing eyebrow towards Casey.

Casey shifts in his seat and scoffs, looking towards Kyle before he mumbles.

"Goody-goody," Casey jokes in a whisper.

Kyle shakes his head and continues eating, knowing Casey is just saying it as a playful comment and not an insult.

"I'm not working that night, so to make things easier, I can pick Casey up from the movies so you can head straight to Toby's?" Brax suggests.

"Why can't I stay for the sleepover too?" Casey asks.

Before Kyle could politely say he wasn't invited to that, Brax pipes up.

"I doubt that poor Scott fella would get any sleep with you badgering in his ear. You are not going to the sleepover, Casey. Besides, I was hoping we could have a fun day hanging out on the Sunday at the beach," Brax says in which Casey frowns.

"I don't...I guess so..." Casey starts but trails off, focusing on the last bites of his food.

Moments later, when all the boys had finished eating, Brax got up to clear away the plates.

Remembering what Brax had said, about once dinner was finished he could show his prizes, Casey got up from the table.

"Can I get my prizes now?" he asks.

"Yes, it would be nice to see what you won," Brax responds.

Casey darts off to the bedroom, while Kyle gets up from the table and approaches Brax at the sink.

"Would you like a hand?" Kyle offers.

"That would be great, little man," Brax says as he begins to wash up.

"Thanks for letting Casey down easy too. I didn't have the heart to tell him he wasn't invited to the sleepover," Kyle says as he dries one of the plates.

Brax smiles, "I know, besides I'm better at dealing with his protests and grumbles."

"I'm back! Come and see what I got!" Casey announces as he walks back into the dining room with his prizes.

Brax empties out the sink and Kyle dries the last of the dishes.

"I chose this when I won enough goals in the basketball toss," Casey explains and shows his slime.

"It's meant to be super sticky," Casey explains and tosses it towards the kitchen cupboard to which it sticks with a splat.

Brax huffs and looks at the slime smashed against his kitchen cupboard.

"Very amusing Case, but I hope I won't find bits of slime all over the house," Brax implies.

Casey laughs and goes to pull his slime off the cupboard and put it back in its container.

"Next I won this super cool dickie bird on the High-Striker," Casey explains.

"Don't swear, Casey," Brax warns.

"I didn't, that's what it is: look." Casey holds up his little woodpecker bird on the metal stick and shows his brothers how it works, laughing as he watches the bird tremor its way down the metal stick.

"Isn't it great?" Casey states.

"I'm glad you can find such joy in something like that," Brax says, smiling.

"I already know where I'm going to put it in my room so I can play with it all the time," Casey says.

"What else did you win?" Brax asks.

"Oh, these next two I got for Kyle," Casey says and smiles at Kyle.

"I won them on the High-Striker as well as I got a really high score because I reached the highest point and made it ding and I actually beat Romeo on that," Casey explains proudly.

"That's great Case. I'm proud of you," Brax praises.

"Thanks," Casey replies with a smile.

"Yeah that's really good," Kyle also praises.

"I picked this for you. They had a few different colours but I chose a purple one because it's your favourite colour," Casey says and holds up the mini lava lamp towards Kyle.

"Wow Casey, this is really nice," Kyle says with a smile, holding up the lava lamp.

"And I also got you this little puzzle, because I know you like things like that," Casey adds and passes the brain teaser puzzle to Kyle.

Kyle puts the lava lamp on the table to examine the puzzle.

"Thanks Casey. It means a lot that you got these for me," Kyle beams.

"Yes I agree it was a very considerate gesture, Casey," Brax praises.

"Is that all you have to show?" Brax asks when Casey doesn't continue.

"Yeah, that's all," he confirms.

"Well in that case, I'm going to sit down and watch The Big Bang and whatever else reruns are on TV; if you boys would like to join me?" Brax suggests in which Kyle nods.

"Though I wonder if you are too preoccupied with your bird on a stand?" Brax jokes as he watches Casey playing with his bird on the stand again.

"No, I'll come and watch too, but I want to put these in my room first."

"Me too; I want to find a nice spot for my lava lamp," Kyle adds.

Both teens take their items back to their room while Brax takes a seat on the couch and a short while later both Kyle and Casey return and take a seat on either side of Brax, where the three watched TV for a few hours before Brax instructs Kyle and Casey to bed.
