Chapter Thirteen: Happy
Albus, Scorpius and Delphi sneaked out of the Ministry before anyone else saw them, taking the Time-Turner with them. Then, to Albus's great surprise, Delphi called to no one in particular, "Happy?" With a loud, whip-like crack, a house-elf appeared, wearing a crisp linen draped like a toga. "Mistress called me?" asked the elf in a squeaky, high-pitched voice. "Take us to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry," ordered Delphi. The house elf nodded, ears flapping, and held out a hand. Albus and Scorpius stared at one another. "Just take it, and we'll be off to time-Turner will then take us to the Forbidden Forest more than twenty years ago," said Delphi cheerfully. Albus and Scorpius had no choice but to do what she said. Suddenly, they were jerked into nothingness, and Allbus felt as if he was being squeezed through a very tight tube. The only solid things were Happy's hand, Scorpius and Delphi, who were banging into him. Then, as soon as it began the sensation stopped. They were standing in the Forbidden Forest, beneath a thick canopy of trees. With a little bow to Delphi, Happy, Disapperated. Albus was amazed. He had just Apperated, for the first time in his life. "Albus? What'll we do next?" asked Scorpius.
"Uhh…" Albus looked at Delphi. His plan had completely slipped his mind. "We need to block whatever Cedric will be trying to do in the first task. That way he won't win, and tie with your dad." recited Delphi, at top speed.
"Right…" said Albus, unnerved, "Let's get on with it." They looped the fine chain of the Time-Turner, around their necks, and turned it around and around, taking them back in time.
