Chapter 16 – Old Ghosts
Months as past and summer came and went. In now time the next season of class started and some news kids arrived, including the Skywalker and the Solo twins, who started the first lessons, including start to learn how to read and write, besides the normal Jedi classes.
Both set of the twins were happy to have the Jedi uniform that all the students wore during the classes.
It was the day of the Witches Night, and that day many kids, especially the young ones, was one the days that they loves, cause they were able to dressed in customs and went to their parents or family members asking for treats.
At that moment, they were at the Jedi Temple, at lunch hour, and the Masters always ate with the students, that was something that Luke and Ines always decided to do since the first students came 8 years ago and now it was as tradition, the difference was that there were not only 10 students, but right now around 70 with ages between almost 6 to 20 years old.
The lunch was almost over and they still have 30 minutes until the afternoon classes started at 2:30pm, but Luke and Ines, decided to make a surprise for their students.
"Guys can we have your attention please?" Ines called them, and the room went silence. "Thank you. Master Luke and I have something to tell you!"
Luke looked at their students.
"I know today you are all excited for the end of the lessons cause we all know, that you have plans to go trick or treat with the young ones, right?" he started it, smiling when the students nod.
"We have great outfits for tonight!" one of the students said.
"So, because of that, we decided to not have lessons this afternoon, so you have time to prepare yourselves."
The moment Luke finished that sentence, the kids started to clap all happy.
"Thank you Master Luke, Master Ines!" the students said and some of them even went to the adults and hugged them, making them laugh at that.
"So you are free!" Ahsoka said with a laugh, especially when the students started to leave the meal room quickly screaming all happy.
"Are you going to?" Aurea asked looking at the twins.
"Yes, Papa will go with is with Iris!" Ani said right away.
"What about you two!" Noa asked the girls.
"We are going with Papa!" Padmé informed the old man.
"You are not going'" Aurea asked looking at Ines.
"We loved too, but this little one still have a little cough from the flu, so we decided it was for the best that we stay at home with him. Next year he will go since he would be 3 years old." Ines said picking up her toddler.
"Luke si, wigh Mama!" he said looking at her, who giggled.
"Yeah you are, just a little." she answered him.
"So, we decided to go the Dex, and bring back some of his delicious burgers. It is faster and give time to put the outfits on these 3!" Luke winked at his kids.
"Leis will not go?" Ezra asked.
"She will be at him with Breha, since out niece is 3 months old." Ines replied.
"How is the little baby?" Aurea asked them
"Getting big and looking like her father every minute!" Ahsoka said. "She has her mothers hair but the light eyes from Han. It is so cute!"
"I bet!"
After a few minutes, Han and Chewie arrived to pick up the twins and after that, Luke and Ines decided that it was time for them to leave too and head home, to prepare the kids and give them bath, before they leave, deciding that in the way back home they would pass by Dex to bring the burgers.
Later that afternoon:
In the Skywalker apartment, everything was chaotic, especially because Ben and the girls were getting ready to go out for their Witches Night Trick or Treat and they were all so excited.
The door beeped and opening, Han came in with Chewie, the boys and Iris.
The moment Ines saw Han she could help but laugh.
"You look nice. That X-Wing outfit looks good on you!" she said making Han look at him.
"This was your husband idea. Both of us being as X-Wing pilots."
Luke came from inside with the kids and stopped once he saw Han.
"Hey fellow pilot!"
"I'm General Solo but I pilot the Falcon!"
Ines looked at Chewie.
"What about you Chewie. Where is your outfit?"
Chewie growled.
"Oh, you are going as one of the Generals during the Clone Wars. Nice!" she said and looked at Iris, who decided to dressed like Leia when they all first met.
"Iris that hairstyle and that outfit, you look exactly like your mother."
"Yeah, when I saw her I was having a dejá vú!" Han replied making Iris looked at him. "See! She even have the same look when she is pissed!"
"And what bout you two?" Luke asked his nephews. "Let me guess, Bail you are your Papa and Ani, are you grandpa Anakin?"
"Yeah, I'm a powerful Jedi!"
"I see our kids decided to dress like us," Han said when he looked at the girls and saw Padmé dresses like Amidala while Alli was like Ines.
"What about you!" Iris asked cousin.
"Guess!" Ben said.
Looking at 7 years old Iris figured it out
"Obi Wan Kenobi. The beard gave it up!" she said high five him.
"Come on, or we don't have any candies left!" Alli said looking at the adults.
"Okay, okay!" Luke said right away. "When we get home we passed by Dex and bring dinner," he said to Ines and giving her a kiss, they all left with R2 right behind them.
An hour later:
The Dex Dinner was actually quiet packed.
"I see many of these parents had the same idea!" Han said to Luke. Both men were waiting for their number to be called.
All of the sudden, Luke froze. Han noticed that.
"Hey kid are you okay!"
Luke eye has stop on a girl a few steps away, with curly hair.
"It can't be!" he whispered to himself and the moment the girl turned, he realized it was not who he thought it was.
"Luke, what is it?"
"I just thought… Never mind!" he said but he couldn't stop to glare at the girl thinking for a moment Nakari was alive.
