41. Chapter 41-Moving to Dunham

A year after Sihtric's long time friend and Lord died, King Aethelstan decided to grant Sihtric his sire's lands. Dunham had switched hands many times since Young Ragnar died and Aethelstan wanted more stability in the region. Sihtric was Kjarten's only living child so there was some logic to the decision.

This meant, however, that their family had to move again. The And crown but, again, they were harshly refused.

As a last resort, they recalled that, at the Great Council, some of Princess Saera's children had put their names forward to inherit. They decided to reach out to them, asking if they or any of their in was interested in the Iron Throne and, yet again, they were rejected.

It seemed like all those of Targaryen blood had decided that the Iron Throne was not something they wanted or needed.

The council was absolutely lost as to what they could do.
