Ned Stark IX, Winterfell grounds.
Ned Stark helps the men set up for the journey for King's landing, putting all his weapons and armor in the supplies as he turns to Robert.
"I can't thank you enough for doing this Ned" Robert thanked his brother in all but blood, Ned smiled at him.
"You don't have to thank me every time you see me" Ned jokes as Robert chuckles back.
"Someone needs to remind you how grateful I am" Robert states, being serious on how thankful he is for Ned becoming his hand of the king.
"Anymore I might give it back" Ned jokes, as Robert slaps his back with a laugh.
"OH Ned, I leave you too till it or you might kill me with your northern jokes" Robert laughs, leaving Ned as he heads to his horse, Ned tightens his straps as he walks over to his wife.
"Must you go?" Catelyn asked, hugging her husband with her might.
"My friend is in danger, I have my duty to my king and my friend" Ned explains as Catelyn shakes her head.
"17 years ago you rode off with Robert Baratheon, and come back with another woman's son, now you're leaving me again" Catelyn wipes her tears as Ned stands there with silences.
"I have no choice" Ned tries to defend.
"That's what man always says when honor calls, that's what you tell your family, I can't do it Ned" Catelyn let out a few tears as Ned brought her to a hug, letting her cry on his chest for a time.
"Promise me you look after our daughter" Catelyn states, only her daughter Sansa is going, Bran is staying with Lyanna for 'warg training' and Arya found her place in Moat Cailin. She only has Robb and young Rickon at Winterfell.
"No harm will come to her" Ned promised her, giving his wife a deep kiss, knowing it would be moons, maybe suns before they see each other. Leaving his wife he goes to his children, going to his youngest son Rickon playing with his Direwolf, Shaggydog.
Walking around his youngest before grabbing him, Rickon yelled in surprise until he saw it was his father carrying him.
"Now you are being good for your mother and brother now" Ned speaks to his son while hugging and kissing his cheeks, getting giggles in reward.
"Ok, when are you coming back?" Rickon asked, his young innocent mind asking as Ned smiled sadly at him.
"A long time Rickon, but listen to me, no matter where I go or how far I am, I'll always love you, alright" Ned hugged his youngest before handing him to one of his nannies keeping an eye on him.
Ned heads to his eldest son, seeing him organising the Winterfell staff and Winterfell guard, checking the supplies after feeding the king and his family.
"Check what's left off from the beer and rum" Robb tells a servant as another comes to him.
"We have 30 hens but only 10 chickens, and we're out of pigs" One servant states as Robb shakes his head.
"Then check for any pigs left in the farms, we need to increase the amount of animals for winter, and any leftover feed to them" Robb orders as Ned walks behind him.
"Already liking your position son" Ned asked, Robb turns to his father with a smile.
"Just checking the food supply, logistics is the most important part in any castle" Robb states, remembering his lesson from the Winter Legion and his elder sister, Ned looks at his son with his Warden armor and his hair looking more red then before.
"For a time I thought this day would never came, a day when I past down this burden of Winterfell, but seeing you now, I couldn't be more proud of the man and lord you becoming" Ned turns to one of his guard holding a greatsword in a special scabbard from the pelf of a wolf, Robb looks shock at what his father is doing.
"But father…that your sword" Robb states, seeing Ned pull out the Valyrian steel greatsword, ice.
"It belongs to the Lord of Winterfell, our ancestral sword, Ice, was forged in ancient Valyria and passed down through the generations, my father never passed it to me, it wasn't mine to have but the gods have other plans" Ned said, holding the valyrian greatsword to his son.
"But I will not do the same, you have earned the title of Warden from the Legion, the skills of Lordship from your mother and myself and you proved yourself for the north" Ned presented Ice to his son.
"I, Ned Stark, name my son, Robb Stark, as Lord of Winterfell" Ned gives his son the ancestral sword as Robb looks at it with awe, but stops to look at his father.
"I will hold on to this until you return" Robb states, carrying the sword like it was a heavy burden as Ned smiled hugging him.
"You earned it Robb, Lord of Winterfell" Ned smiled as he gave his son a hug goodbye, turning to head to his horse, seeing Hodor holding the reins.
"Thank you my friend," Ned said to the stable boy.
"Hodor" Hodor nods to him as Ned leads his horse to the Winter Legion, heading to where his daughter is leading the front.
"Father, we'll escort you till Moat Cailin" Lyarra states, making Ned signs.
"Thank you Lyarra, are the others coming?" Ned looks around for his other children.
"Yes, Sansa is the royal carriage with the queen and her children, Arya and Bran are with Peacekeeper Sasha and Lawbringer Cross, and Jon will follow us until King's road breaks off, he and his group will head to the wall for their rotation" Lyarra explains where her siblings are, Ned nods to her, seeing they leaving now.
"Then I ride with Jon until we leave then, we'll speak after" Ned promised his daughter as they start the ride, Ned looks back to see his wife holding his youngest son and his oldest son waving back to him. Smiling he waves back to him, already missing them.

King's Road
The royal carriage rolls across the King's road, running smoother than ever before as the royal enjoy the nice road. While the Winter Legion escorts beside them in their marching lines and positions.
They made it to the crossroads, where the path to Moat Calin and further north separated, Jon Snow heads to the side of the road as he watched his friends leave with part of the Winter legion retouring with the other Winter Legion, with his uncle Benjen and Tyrion Lannister following beside them, following their journey to the Wall.
Jon looks to see his father gallop towards him as they watch their parties leave.
"There great honor serving the Night's watch, the Starks have manned the Wall for thousands of years" Ned said, seeing this young brother leaving with the Winter Legion as Jon sees his friends waving to him.
"Not sure if I want to take the black yet" Jon said, having been thinking about it for a while, to stay on the Wall forever.
But that was before the Winter Legion and before he made friends, no matter how many times he wanted to kill them he would never leave their side. Ned nods looking at Jon.
"I know, but you are a Stark, you might not have my name but you have my blood" Ned states to him, making sure Jon doesn't forget who he is as Jon looks around before turning to his father, thinking it would be the last time he sees him.
"Is my mother alive? Does she know about me and where I'm going, does she even care?" Jon always wanted to ask but never found the right moments, believe he said it now or it will never come again. Ned looks at him and signs.
"Next time we meet, I'll tell you all about her, I promise" Ned promised his bastard son, as Jon looks frustrated but could only nod as Ned turns to his house away to catch up with the others.
As Jon helps his horse to catch up to the others into the further north.

Lyarra Stark XV, King's road.
Lyarra Stark leads her legion toward the Moat Calin while escorting the royal family across the North. Seeing how important the royals are, Lyarra stays aware of the surroundings.
Bandits and the like would love nothing more than to take anything from the royals, even Cersei simple dresses are worth a fortune.
"Only a lady such as yourself can make armor look beautiful and powerful" Lyarra hears the voice of the royal prince galloping his horse up to her, Lyarra notices his sworn shield not far behind. Doing his duty but without much care.
"Does my dog scare you?" Joffrey asks, seeing her noticing his guard, but Lyarra shakes her head.
"Hardly your grace, I've faced plenty of man and beast before, a burned man is nothing" Lyarra waves her hand aimlessly as Joffrey smirks at her.
"Many ladies would flee the sight of the hound, his scares even terrify me" Joffrey jokes at her as Lyarra keeps looking forward.
"We all have scars my prince, some are more noticeable than others" Lyarra states, looking down for a second before anyone would notice as Joffrey nods.
"Of course, my lady, your story is remarkable, taking revenge on the same man that nearly took you down, you burn him alive in front of all his friends and family" Joffrey smiling gleefully, recalling the stories of the War-born, hearing the details in all its glory.
"The greyjoys take pride in dying in the sea, killing him would mean nothing to them, no to strike fear in them they need to see true suffering" Lyarra getting into details then turning to Joffrey looking at her with glee, Lyarra grunts to herself.
"I'd admit, revenge was the reason I burned the greyjoy's" Lyarra admits to him, Joffrey chuckles with delight.
"Oh my lady Lyarra, what can I do to take you to King's landing?" Joffrey asked her, really inserted in her while Lyarra turns to the future king of seven kingdoms.
"My prince" Lyarra spoke but Joffrey smiled.
"Please call me Joffrey" Joffrey spoke with a charming smile as Lyarra signs.
"My prince, you know I have high expectations for a husband," Lyarra states to him.
"Come on Lyarra, I would join the Winter Legion if I could, but I will become the King of the Seven Kingdoms. You would be a queen, what lady wouldn't want that?" Joffrey asked her, looking at her with confusion.
"Not all ladies want a king, besides you didn't earn your crown" Lyarra states, pushing her horse forward to Joffrey's shock, while heading towards her.
"Earn it, wait no my father is the King and I will get it after him" Joffrey spoke out to her with a frown.
"Exactly, your father took the crown after destroying the Targaryen dynasty, a conquer, what have you done Joffrey?" Lyarra looks at him, while Joffrey thinks for a second with silence.
"You see my prince, all your years with nothing to your name, your legacy, what do they think of when they look at Joffrey Baratheon" Lyarra asked him, Joffrey thinks for a moment while looking at her.
"I haven't done anything…yet" Joffrey spoke to himself, trying to find something about himself, Lyarra nods to him.
"That's it Joffrey, stake your claim, take your throne and let the kingdoms know that Joffrey Baratheon wasn't handed his crown, no he took it, he took the Iron Throne and he will take his place as King of the seven kingdoms…no Joffrey the Kings of Kings" Lyarra exclaims to him, making Joffrey grin wide at her.
"Yes Lady Lyarra, King of kings! I love it, and when I take my throne and truly own the Seven Kingdoms, I will return for my queen of the north" Joffrey smirks at her, now seeing what Lyarra really wants, about to grab her but Lyarra caught his hand.
The Hound tried to stop it but he was blocked by the Legionary glaring at him as Lyarra looked at the prince, looking at her in shock and awe.
"Only those worthy can touch me, would you be it Joffrey, the boy prince…or Joffrey, the King of kings" Lyarra proclaimed letting go of his hand, Joffrey holding his hand in pain but has a grin at her.
"Don't worry my lady, the next time you see me, all will kneel before me, Joffrey, the king of kings" Joffrey pleads with himself as he gallops forward with a new sense of determination, the Hound looks shocked at her.
"The hell did you say to him?!" Sandor Clegane asked her, Lyarra smirks.
"A new king that will change the kingdoms before we know it" Lyarra states, watching as the future of the seven Kingdoms tries to lead the royal guard with a new sense of vigour.

They made it to Moat Calin, the large gates opening up to the Winter Legion and their royal escort, Lyarra, turned towards the Legion.
"Legion, form up" Lyarra calls out, all the Legion stands straight, with the royals and her father watching.
"A group of 30 soldiers will follow Lord Stark, under his commander are these respective Wardens, Peacekeepers, Conquers and Lawbringer, follow there command and maintain your duty and discipline, I expect nothing else when you all respective not just us but the new North itself thought out the Seven Kingdoms" Lyarra spoke out to all the Legion heading towards King's Landing.
"Take off your gear and prepare for travel, dismissed" Lyarra orders, all the Legionary take their leave except a small group, as they exchange supplies and new horses for the rest of the journey. The Royals watched in awe at the discipline of the Winter Legion as her father watched her with pride.
"It never ceases to amaze me on what you achieve, even after all this time" Her father looking at her in both longing and sadness, Lyarra stands tall to him, taking off her helmet.
"I will do my duty and beyond for my home" Lyarra proclaims but Ned doesn't care, going forward to hug her.
"No matter how old you are or what will happen, you will always be my first child" Ned hugs her tightly, Lyarra hugging her father back.
"I'm so sorry" Ned apologised, Lyarra looking confused at him.
"What are you sorry for?" Lyarra asked, Ned only hugs her closer.
"For not protecting you, for leaving you to grow up too fast, I couldn't make a place safe for you" Ned hugs her deeply, wishing he did more for his first born daughter.
"You were more than enough father, you gave me support when I most needed it, show me I still have family, even when I felt the world is against me I know to always turn to you" Lyarra states, feeling more emotional as her father smiled at her.
"The Lone wolf dies" Ned says, Lyarra smiled.
"But the pack survives" Lyarra finished the saying as both she and Ned chuckle.
"Whatever you do Lyarra, know I will always love and support you, no matter what" Ned states, his gaze is nothing but love as Lyarra felt tears in her eyes.
"I love you dad" Lyarra whispers, making Ned recall the same words Lyarra spoke before he left to face the Greyjoys. Ned sees the same little girl waving him off as he goes on to help the king.
"I love you too pup" Ned whispered, kissing her cheeks as Lyarra watched her father leave her, going off to the King and his guard Lyarra watched him leave not only her but the north.
"You alright Ly?" Bran asked, watching Lyarra give a tearful goodbye to their father, Lyarra wipes her tears.
"Yes young one, I'm fine" Lyarra states, putting her helmet back on as she turns to him.
"Now we start your training" Lyarra said, Bran gets excited, Lyarra lets her towards one of their Wargs.
Lyarra takes Bran to one of the hallways though Moat Cailin, taking a secret passage through the walls.
"Now remember Bran, this is a secret to the north, swear you never tell anyone" Lyarra orders her younger brother, Bran swears to keep it a secret as Lyarra and Bran enter the large hallway.
The Room is full of animals and birds, many men and women sitting on the tables with blank stares and pure white eyes, as animals and birds fly around them and each other.
Ex-maester Qyburn walks between them as he takes notes and check their health, his eyes looking on in wonder as he and it acolytes take care of the Wargs.
"Ahh War-wolf, come to start your siblings training" Her Freefolk Warg trainer Takkar states, confusing the Commander.
"Siblings?" Lyarra looks over to see Arya grinning right next to Takkar.
"ARYA! What are you doing here?!" Bran calls out, Arya points at Lyarra.
"You said we can choose to become Wargs, well I'm choosing to become one" Arya proudly states to them, Bran gets mad.
"You don't need training, I do" Bran annoyed at her, Arya sticks out her tongue.
"I don't need your permission, soon I'll command a whole army of animals, better than you" Arya teases, making Bran mad as he chases her, letting Arya run away from him while Takkar laughs.
"Strong spirit these young wolves" Takkar laughs while Lyarra shakes her head.
"They will need it, start their training soon and send a warg to train my brothers, Robb and Jon" Lyarra orders, getting a happy look from Takkar.
"Ahhh the War-born finally listens to me, you won't regret this" Takkar states to her, while Lyarra shakes her head.
"Keep an eye on Bran, the Thern believe he is the next greenseer" Lyarra warns him, Takkar stared at the young Stark chasing his sister in shock.
"Greenseer? Truly" Takkar asked in awe.
"Yes, we need more training for Bran in this part," Lyarra said, watching her siblings chase one another, letting them have their fun before the harsh training that comes from being a Warg.
