Trip To Atlantis
The group of four headed towards the beach. Three excited and one clinging to the tallest one. "We'll just pop down and say high to dad and then we'll be right back. When we get back I'll come find you right away!" William reassured Luna who still wasn't so sure about letting him go. "I'll wait right here for you!" She said back, kissing him deeply before she let him go and he walked to the surf to join Annabeth and Percy. "I can't believe you've never done this, do you even know if you can talk to fish?" Percy asked. "Talk to fish?" "Yeah, I can talk to both fish and horses" Percy said. "Oh, well that's cool, but I have never heard any horses talk, I think I got something else related to a horse" William mumbled the last part as both him and Annabeth blushed.
"I have no idea about fish though!" He said trying to cover up the awkwardness that he had caused. They walked into the water and just as their heads were about to submerge they heard a voice from behind them. "Wait!" They turned around and saw Luna run towards them. William walked back towards her and scooped her up in his arms when she could no longer touch the sandy bottom. "You change your mind?" He asked. "I want to see it, I want to see it with you" she said "just don't let go of me" she pleaded. "Here how about you get on my back" he said as they switched her position, now getting a piggyback the goddess clenched her legs tightly around her boyfriends' waist.
"Alright we're ready to go now" William said and the group descended into the water. "Try and imagine an air bubble around her head" Percy said pointing to what he had done with Annabeth. William closed his eyes and imagined the bubble. "You did it!" he heard from his Arty. He opened eyes and his breath was instantly taken away. "It's beautiful" William mused. "Welcome to the sea my lord" William jumped when he heard that. "Who was that?" "Haha! Yes! You do understand fish!" Percy said excitedly. Luna let out a squeak as a shark came into view.
"Hey Bruce" Percy said. The shark did a weird fish bow, "my lords", and then continued on his way. "This is so weird" William said in awe. The group laughed and awed as they made their way to the kingdom under the sea.
"My gods it's beautiful" Luna said as they came into sight of the city of Atlantis. "Percy why haven't you brought me before? This place is gorgeous!" Annabeth questioned her boyfriend. William just stared in awe, this was his home, this is where he came from. "You okay babe?" Luna asked. "Yeah, yeah I'm great. I just can't believe that this is where I came from" William said.
They reached the gates where two mermen bowed to Percy, "my lord" they said and let them enter the city. The bubbles popped around the two women's heads. They were now standing on solid ground but Luna made no attempt to unwrap herself from William and if he cared he didn't say it.
The city of Atlantis was filled with bustling see life from regular fish just passing through to the wide assortment of half human half whatever people who resided in the city. Instead of trees there was giant coral lining the streets. seaweed instead of grass for lawns and other assorted corals instead of flowers in the gardens.
Soon the foursome came to a big building in the middle of the city. The doors opened automatically as they approached and Percy led them into the Hall of Poseidon. Poseidon was in the middle of some business and see them right away, but was ecstatic when he did. "My sons! And Annabeth! and-" he squinted at the girl still hanging onto William's back, "and Artemis?" Poseidon questioned. "Actually Uncle I am currently William's demigod girlfriend Luna" Artemis corrected. Poseidon's eyes widened for only a second before he chuckled. "Good to have you Luna! I always enjoy meeting my son's girlfriends" Poseidon said not missing a beat. "Come along sons and daughters" Poseidon said knowing it would make all four blush, at which he laughed once again before turning and leading them into the Palace.
"That was amazing!" Luna said as she hoped off William's back onto dry land. "It really was, thank you for taking us Percy" William said to his brother. "No problem, anytime you want to go back just let me know" he said happily. "What are you guys up to now?" William asked. "I believe Leo said he had something he wanted to show everybody, so I figured we'd head over there" Annabeth said. "Alright you guys have fun, I should probably get some face time in with the hunters" William said.
"We can go with them if you want to. The hunters can wait. Especially if you decide to come with us at the end of the week" Luna said. "I'm alright Arty. Today has been exhausting and I'd really like to just chillax for the night. Besides are already told you I was coming with you, there's no way I could leave you right now" William said as he swept Luna off her feet and carried her bridal style back to her cabin. "I'm glad you decided to come. It was a great second date" William said staring into her sky blue eyes. "I'm glad I came too, it's no wonder you're tired though, you've been carrying me around all day" She responded.
"I enjoy it, having you touching me makes me feel so safe. I haven't felt that way many times in my life. I could definitely get used to it though" Luna didn't know what to say so she just kissed him gently, trying to show her love that way. "I do have to say that I like your silver eyes much more than these blue ones" William admitted. "You mean these ones?" Luna said as she flashed her eyes silver for a couple seconds, teasing him. "End of the week I'll stop being a demigod and they can come back" she promised. William just sighed as he carried her to her cabin.
The rest of the night was spent with the hunters. They laughed and joked, played some games, and they asked William about his life, since they knew nothing about him other than his time on Orthrys with their goddess. He answered their questions as best he could, some were a little tough but today had been too good of a day for some silly questions to mess up. "How did you survive out there with no weapons?" one of the huntresses asked. "Well I do have some weapons, they are just stored away magically. It would have been way too hard to run away from you ladies if I had an armoury strapped to my back. Here I'll show you" William said as he summoned a beautiful sword.
It was elegant but there was no doubt that it was sharp. It was made of a celestial bronze, imperial gold mixture, the colours of the metals combining to make the sword look almost orange, at the base of the pommel was a rounded ball of stygian iron. Then the sword lit up in flames. "This sword was a gift from my mother, it is by far the best and my most used weapon" William said as the Hunters continued to inspect the sword. "Where do you store all these weapons?" another Huntress asked. "I keep them tied to a scar, usually the one that weapon gave me but sometimes I just use one I already had" William answered.
The night went on from there as he showed them some of his other weapons, a scythe his mother gave him, a large axe from the minotaur, some throwing spike from the manticore, a beautiful bow from a centaur that the girls all ogled, a set of armour made from the nemean lion's skin, a fully stygian iron spear from a cyclops, and a set of daggers from some telekhines.
"Wait, these are all from the monsters that raped me" Luna realized, putting the pieces together. "Indeed they are, I hunted each and everyone down, to the exact specific individual and I slaughtered them like the beasts that they were" William said with a low growl in his voice. A collective "aaawwww" came from the hunters at this and Luna jumped over to him and smashed her lips onto his. Trying her hardest to force how she felt out of her through a kiss. "I love you so much" Luna said as sincerely as she could manage. "I love you too moonbeam, that's why I did it"
They all figured that was a good point to stop for the night and they all retired to their beds, as the happy couple slid into bed, for another amazing night of sleep, holding the person that they had been craving for so long.
