"I'm telling you, this happens to me a lot more than you'd think." A dark-haired man in a torn-up blue shirt with a metal gauntlet for a hand and a shotgun and chainsaw on his back said to a woman with black hair with silver streaks in it, black face-paint, and a black and red outfit he was sitting next to in the front seat of a coach being pulled by two decayed horses. "I believe you, stranger things have happened here." Sareena replied to Ash Williams' grinning face before a loud whinny interrupted them and the whole carriage shook.

"Looks like our carriage ride is a bust, babe." Ash groaned as he hopped off and made a disgusted noise at one of the Revenant horse's heads melting away in acid and the other one being torn completely off. "Behind you!" Sareena shouted as Williams got whacked in the back by an invisible form, turning around to swing his now revved-up chainsaw hand and drawing green blood on the rocks of the Netherrealm.

"Thanks for the heads-up. I'll handle this screwhead while you go find your pal." Sareena nodded as she took off while Ash aimed his boomstick at the slowly visible figure, reptilian features briefly appearing on the green ninja's face before retaining the illusion of humanity. Williams fired but Reptile slid past and grabbed onto his shirt before throwing him to the ground, forming a green ball of acid to hurl at him as he rolled away before getting back up and running at the assassin.

"Gah!" The gray Revenant ninja cried out as he slammed into the stone wall of a Brotherhood of Shadows temple, struggling to pick his knife back up as a figure with blazing red eyes powered through the smoke, revealing a black gi and red spiked hair. "You fought well. I will give you a warrior's death." Akuma rushed forwards to pound Smoke's head into the wall but snarled in rage as a large knife dug into his arm before Sareena's demon form pounced on him and clawed him while stabbing him with her tail.

Akuma only knocked Sareena away with a Gohadoken and caught her fist trying to smash his head with one fist before grabbing Smoke's knife hand as he tried to stab the fighter before kicking his legs around in a helicopter-fashion to knock them both off him. "We're not winning this." Smoke tried to get Sareena to leave Akuma as he threw smoke down to cover their escape but she kicked the fighter in the gut before he uppercutted her off him and then landed on the temple wall, burning through it as he smashed it down.

"Take that! And that!" Ash yelled as he kept punching Reptile with his metal fist, the ninja hissing in pain before they both turned their heads to see Akuma shaking off the rubble and cracking his fists as he glared at the chosen one. "Now this is a worthy challenge!" "Is he talking to you, Lizard or-Oh crap, he's talking to me." Williams barely got his chainsaw hand back on as Akuma dashed towards him, the blast of purple energy and revving chainsaw covering up Reptile's escape from the duo as he rolled away before getting blocked by the demon Sareena.

"You should have just let me leave." Reptile spoke as he rapidly changed into a far more monstrous humanoid lizard form before acid dripped from his fangs and he lunged at Sareena, chomping down on her neck as her tail dug into his back. A flash of smoke behind him revealed Smoke with his knife raised up to slam into Reptile's skull while Sareena's claws dug into his neck, Ash reaching for his boomstick as Akuma dives at him with his fist, the screen going black with the shot and stab echoing.

Ash Williams revs up his chainsaw hand before pulling out his boomstick and aims it at the camera, Sareena's demon form lights up the dark area with fire as she crawls out of the ground before transforming back, a cloud of smoke comes in before Smoke exits with his raised knife, Reptile comes out of his invisibility with reptilian features on his face and raises up a ball of acid, and Akuma slowly walks up before raising a fist with purple energy around it, the kanji for 'heaven' flashing on the screen.
