Bio:Sareena was once just another demon of the Netherrealm serving Quan Chi before Bi-Han gave her a chance at a better life. While he became the abomination known as Noob Saibot, Sareena found the Special Forces giving her the acceptance and care that her former master had always denied her unless she shed blood in his name. Now, Sareena has taken it upon herself to save every Revenant and even Bi-Han against all odds despite the sorceror's dying curse.

The first costume is Sareena's MKX costume with her leather top with buckles, black sleeves, a loincloth, bottom, leggings, and black heels.
The second costume is Sareena's alternate costume from MK:Armageddon with a more open top, gloves, a black choker, loincloth, bottom, and heels that go up to her knees.
The third costume is Sareena's MKX concept art costume in a vest, bottoms, skirt that covers her back, and open-foot sandals that lead up to leggings with gloves on her hands, black rope on her arms, and a black choker with a medallion hanging from it.
The fourth costume is Sareena in an outfit made out of roaring flames that resembles her first costume, hellfire covering up her body but not scorching it.

In the towards throw, Sareena slashes the opponent's right arm and left leg with her dagger (tail in demon form) before rising up in an uppercut with her blade (claws in demon form) to send them flying on their back.
Signature Moves-
Demon Form:Sareena transforms into her demon form in a blaze of flames at the cost of a bar of her offensive or and defensive meter, giving her access to upgraded versions of her default Signature Moves and new combos while it stays active for several moments before she transforms back to her human form. There is no amplified version.
Throwing Knife:Sareena pulls out her dagger and hurls it at the opponent, hitting them in the chest if it connects and causing a stagger effect for a combo window. The amplified version has Sareena's dagger knock the opponent down for increased damage and an opportunity to close the distance.
-Kia's Blades:Sareena tosses one of Kia's boomerangs at the opponent in her demon form, hitting them in the chest and then in the back while keeping the stagger for increased damage and combo potential. The amplified version has Sareena throw both boomerangs at the opponent, doubling the damage and stagger effect.
5-Star Kick:Sareena charges forwards with her knee, doubling the opponent over from a gut hit if she connects, before hitting them four other times in the head, chest, right arm, and left leg which pushes them back. The amplified version has Sareena finish with a cartwheel that slams the opponent's head into the ground, knocking them down for increased damage and keeping them close.
-Demonic Dance:Sareena cartwheels at the opponent in her demon form, smashing their shoulders with her legs and grabbing their neck with her tail before slamming them behind her to keep them close to her. The amplified version adds a stab from her tail through their mouth and a lift before smashing their face into the ground for increased damage.
Skull Bash:A Variation move that has Sareena dash forwards to smash the opponent's head with her fist, leaving them stunned for a moment and giving her an opportunity to start combos with a quick but low-damage attack. The amplified version has Sareena box the opponent's ears with both fists, stunning them for even longer and increasing the damage.
-Gut-Buster:Sareena performs an equally fast punch in her demon form but this one sends the opponent flying back from a gut-hit for increased damage. The amplified version has Sareena stab her tail into the opponent's gut to drag them back in for a clothesline hit, knocking them to the ground for even more damage.
Jataaka's Kurse:A Variation move that Sareena can only perform in her human form, summoning a hellish portal on the ground that drains the opponent's offensive and defensive bars as long as they stand in it before their health if both are empty. The amplified version adds a burn effect to Sareena's portal that keeps eating away at their bars or health for a couple seconds after.
Spin:A Variation move that Sareena can only perform in her demon form, spinning around with her claws and tail outstretched to slash the opponent's torso several times before knocking them away from her. The amplified version has Sareena advance towards the opponent during the move and gives her a hit of armor to close the distance.
Enhanced Demon Form:A Variation move that modifies Sareena's standard Demon Form, enabling it to be amplified to last twice as long and giving her a hit of armor to start at the cost of another bar of her offensive meter.
Old Moon:A Variation move that replaces Sareena's standard Kia's Blades and has her hurl a purple flame in the shape of a blade at the opponent's neck in her demon form, stunning them as it eats away at their health for a few moments. The amplified version adds a burn effect for their offensive and defensive meter on a successful hit.
Burning Embrace:A Variation move that has Sareena stab her tail through the opponent's gut and drag them to her, wrapping her claws around their throat and burning away at them as they struggle and yell before pushing them away. The amplified version has the hellfire from her hands rage even hotter than it did before, causing a glow to come from their eyes, as the damage is doubled.
Ice Shurikens:A Variation move that has Sareena form a trio of ice shurikens in her right hand before tossing them upwards, hitting the opponent if they're airborne and knocking them down. The amplified version has Sareena's shurikens freeze the opponent instead of knocking them down, opening up an opportunity for combos.
-Up Kia's Blades:Sareena tosses one of Kia's boomerangs upwards in her demon form, hitting the opponent twice and knocking them down if they're in the air. The amplified version has Sareena toss both boomerangs at once for double the damage.
Kuai Liang's Gift:A Variation move that has Sareena coat her hands in ice in human form, giving her the ability to slowly freeze the opponent if she hits them enough times at the cost of a bar of her offensive meter. The amplified version greatly reduces the amount of hits needed to freeze the opponent.
Assassin's Leap:A Variation move that replaces Sareena's standard 5-Star Kick and has her lunge in an upwards arc with her dagger in her human form, slashing the opponent's face and chest if she connects with them on the ground or in the air. The amplified version has Sareena follow up with a series of stabs to the chest and gut before kicking the opponent away.
Embrace Darkness:A Variation move that has Sareena cloak her dagger (tail in demon form) in shadow before slicing with it, costing a bar of her offensive meter but blacking out the opponent's screen for several moments, leaving only the health bars and meters still visible. There is no amplified version. This move takes two Variation slots.
Other Moves-
Quan Chi's Legacy:Sareena punches the opponent's cheek before kicking them in the chest with her heel, knocking them back, and lunges at them with her dagger, digging it into their chest and twisting it before yanking it out.
Helldive:Sareena lashes out with her claws in the air in her demon form, hitting the opponent's chest before hooking them in with her tail and grabbing them, slamming the back of their head into the ground as they land.
Fatal Blow:Honorable Demon
Sareena pulls out her kama and throws it at the opponent. If it connects, Sareena pulls out her dagger and leaps at the opponent, stabbing them in the chest with it before kneeing the blade in deeper and smashes the opponent's face with her fist, sending them to their knees behind them as she transforms. Sareena jabs her claws in the opponent's eyes before dragging them along their cheeks and then stabs her tail through their stomach and back, turning them around for her hellfire-engulfed fist to send them flying away from her, retrieving her dagger and transforming back to her human form.
Taunts-
Sareena strikes the air with her hand and dagger while saying "I'd advise letting your current injuries heal." or "Don't be stubborn and stand down."
Sareena transforms into her demon form and tunnels through the ground with hellfire before bursting out farther away from the opponent with a screech and transforms back to her human form.
Sareena transforms into her demon form and tosses Kia's boomerang into the air, catching it with her tail and transforming back to her human form as she puts it on her belt.
Sareena hovers her arms over her body as ritual markings appear on them and cracks her leg back into place with a grimace, saying "You can't be doing much better." or "I don't advise looking for more pain."
Fatalities-
Bi-Han's Teachings:Sareena slashes the opponent's stomach with her dagger, spilling their guts out before slamming her left heel into their face, cracking it inwards, before punching her fist through their gut wound and tearing their spine out before letting go. Sareena stabs her dagger into the opponent's chest before tearing it out and jams her right heel into their heart, ripping it out and steps behind them as they collapse while grabbing their spine, pulling it out in slow-motion as their head shows shock and their heart gushes blood from her raised heel.
Go to Hell:Sareena transforms into her demon form and forms two fireballs in her hands before tossing them at the opponent's chest and head, melting away the flesh and muscle from their skull and revealing their heart before opening up a portal under them to the Netherrealm. Demon hands rip and tear at the still-alive opponent's legs as they struggle in agony to avoid getting pulled down before Sareena wraps her hands around their neck and her tail stabs through their skull, tearing it off their body in slow-motion as only their shoulders and arms remain above the Netherrealm.
Friendship:Concert of the Damned
Sareena excitedly claps her hands and Kia, Jataaka, and Noob Saibot emerge from a Netherrealm portal with instruments corresponding to each character while she pulls out a microphone and begins singing. Noob plays a guitar, Kia plays the drums, and and Jataaka plays a saxophone as even the opponent starts cheering on the heavy metal show that Sareena and the Netherrealm Descendants perform.
Brutalities-
The Klassic:Sareena performs a rising slash with her dagger, cutting the opponent's head in two down the middle with only a bit still connected as they collapse to their knees and their face splits open. In her demon form, Sareena instead rips the opponent's head off with the spine attached on her claws and holds it up as a trophy while they collapse to their knees.
Head on a Spike:Sareena performs her back throw in her demon form but keeps her tail wrapped around the opponent's neck after the slam, choking them as they struggle to free themselves before their head pops off and she impales it on her tail while their body collapses.
Demon Cleave:Sareena performs her towards throw in her human form but instead of the opponent being knocked down by her uppercut slash, they turn to face the camera with a shocked expression as they slowly split in half from the groin up.
Netherrealm Welcoming:Sareena performs her Quan Chi's Legacy combo but after kicking the opponent's chest with her heel and knocking them back, she tosses her dagger into their forehead as they stumble backwards and reach for it before toppling over.
Bi-Han's Favorite:Sareena performs her amplified Burning Embrace move but the hellfire flames from her hands broil the opponent's flesh and muscles off after several moments, leaving only a charred skull that she yanks on to hold up to the camera with their spine.
Whirlwhind of Doom:Sareena fully freezes the opponent with her Kuai Liang's Gift move and then kicks their frozen head off their body, shattering it on the ground, before shattering their upper body above the waist with a punch to the chest and finally delivering a backflip kick to their groin that shatters the lower half, leaving ice and frozen gore everywhere.
Overheated:Sareena performs her 5-Star Kick move but the opponent turns to face the screen after the combo, their skin glowing bright red and steam coming off their body as they yell and flail before exploding into a pile of gore and bones.
Lava Bath:Sareena performs Jataaka's Kurse but the portal opens up into lava after the opponent's health reaches 0, making them scream and try to get away as it eats at their flesh only for them to slip completely under after hanging on to the ground for a moment, their skeleton being shot out shortly after.
Corrupted Heart:Sareena performs Kia's Blades but Kia's boomerang gets stuck in the opponent's chest, prompting Sareena to retrieve it by yanking it out, taking their heart with as they gasp and stretch their hands out before collapsing on their back.
Torn Apart:Sareena performs her Helldive combo in her demon form but after slamming the opponent to the ground, she stabs her claws through their eyes and shoves her tail into their gut, wrenching out their intestines and their face, revealing the brain before tossing the body parts away in disgust.
All the Way Through:Sareena performs her Gutbuster move but her fist punches through the opponent's gut and out their back, she grabs onto their head afterwards as they struggle and slowly rips their upper body off their lower half and tosses it aside as their other half falls to the ground.

I set out on my own into the Netherrealm, determined to earn my penance or die trying to save all of the damned souls I left behind. I found myself facing Smoke first and managed to heal his tortured mind and soul, earning a valuable companion against the other Revenants.
(Sareena and Smoke are seen spying on Kronika and the Revenant Liu Kang as they converse in Shinnok's Bone Temple.)
We noticed Liu Kang moving to ally with a newcomer to the realms and discovered that Kronika was every bit the monster Quan Chi was but with even more power that corrupted her fully.
(Sareena is shown tumbling into the Hourglass in her demon form, locked in Mortal Kombat with Kronika as Smoke reaches out for her while Geras tackles him.)
Knowing that we couldn't change anything so long as Kronika still tampered with the natural order, we struck out against her, waiting for the opportune moment to strike her down but in my haste, I shattered the Hourglass and fell in...
(The sands of time are shown as a desert before Sareena bursts out gasping for air with glowing blue eyes, a new white outfit reminscient of Ashrah, and the sands swirling around her, showing visions of Noob Saibot, Revenant Liu Kang and Revenant Kitana, and Jataaka and Kia.)
Any mortal would be destroyed, scattered across timelines but my demonic heritage I cursed saved me, possibilities flashed across my mind, ways to help atone for Quan Chi's sins, and I was reborn as a Titan.
(Sareena's eyes are shown glowing red behind Quan Chi, Drahmin, and Moloch before she carves them to pieces with Demon Fang, ending their reign of terror as it began.)
I knew that I could now heal all of the Revenants but that mattered little with Bi-Han's soul still damned to the Netherrealm and my sisters killed by Drahmin and Moloch as sacrifices to the sorceror so I went back in time and hoped my Demon Fang would taste blood for the last time...
