Ch. 14 Letters to Brick
Buttercup: Age 7
One year later
Dear Brick,
This is Buttercup. Mommy is helping me write this letter and said I could leave anything on here. So how are you? Actually, no, where are you? Mr. Mojo won't tell us. But we can write, and he will send the letters to you. He says. But he's a di- being unreasonable. Mommy says it's a better word. And only one letter a year! But whatever. At least I can write you a letter. Everyone, I mean. Not just me.
I miss your food, though. It was the best food... but Mommy said she would help me learn so we can make something for you! Boomer, too. He wants to impress someone at school. It's weird. Write back soon!

Dear Brick,
I am still waiting for a letter. Are you okay? Me and Butch get along better now. Weird, we have a lot in common other than our looks. I hang out with my sisters, too. Also, Boomer and Bubbles are too much alike. Robin loves them, but I wouldn't say I like them. They both have a thing for liking weirdos and not being shy about it. Mitch is okay sometimes when he's not being an asshole. Do you miss them? Any of us? Let me know! I'll be waiting for you to write back. One letter back could make my day, you know!

Brick,
I know you're busy. I get it. Can you write, though? How will I know if you read my letters if you don't reply?
Anyways, Mitch is acting weird; he's sadder now. Butch will pick on him. Bubbles still has a thing for Butch, and I think it's never going away; at least she doesn't chase him every day. Blossom is still a nerd in love with Dexter. I don't know why she likes him. He's not that smart. Like you're better. He's smart but like doesn't pay attention to anything other than his science crap. You read, too. And cook. And know how to fight. Cool eyes... But he does have a cool monkey, though.
Your Dad is still mean, especially to Mommy. I don't like him. He's your dad, not mine. But we can share our mom. Let me know if you want to say anything! Something. I'm waiting to hear back from you!

Brick,
Can you answer me? If I don't get a letter back, I GOING TO STOP WRITING AND TELLING YOU STUFF AND HATE YOU FOREVER! FOREVER!

Dear Brick,
I'm sorry. I was mad because you didn't write back, but your dad doesn't let me see your letters (Don't worry, I made sure he didn't see this one -proofreading, Mom says) if you write back. You do, right? I want to think you do. I go to high school next year! We all do, I mean. Robin wants to do sports with me and Butch! Bubbles wants to be a cheerleader -no surprise- and Blossom wants to do flags. She throws poles and guns. I would want to throw the guns, but I don't want to be some dancing monkey on stage for a bunch of strangers. It's weird. If one person stared at me, it wouldn't be too bad. Like when you did, it was strange but not like a bad strange. A good one.
I hope nothing changes in High School. I like that we all hang out together now. I don't know if I can stand being by myself or stuck with psycho for the rest of school. I don't hang out with Mitch anymore; he's always disappearing and won't tell us why. I miss him, too. Did you make any friends out there? I hear that it's all boys. Is that fun? Or do you hang out with girls, too? I hear that you are all stuck together, but you travel. Where did you get stuck? Did you... nevermind.
Be sure to tell me when you come back! I'll let you know what happens in the next letter.

Dear Brick,
High School sucks! Mitch is never here! He won't tell any of us anything! Robin left me to be a cheerleader with Bubbles! Like we were supposed to focus on a REAL sport! Well, a sport that wasn't so... girly and full of bitches. Also, Boomer joined too. That and flags. I think his crush is on the Flags team. Blossom is on the team, but she has yet to notice. She can be so oblivious for being so clever. Like, hello, he has a thing for redheads... I don't want him to get hurt, I guess. And there are three redheads, and Bloosem is four. I hope whoever his crush is doesn't hurt him. He did grow on me over these last few years. He is literally the annoyingest brother out there, but has his moments. He's definitely getting on your nerves when you come back.
The only real friend I have at school is Butch! It's crazy! Me and the psycho. I also know that he and Bubbles act really weird around each other. They did before, but now it is really obvious. If you were here would you hang out with me? Or would you ditch me like everybody else? I cant wait to hear about your stories!

Dear Brick,
Guess who is in a gang now! They call themselves the Gang Green Gang. Me and Butch passed their initiation. Mitch, Boomer, and my sisters don't want to join since they're scumbags. Boomer said no because his nose is so far up Blossom's butt I'm surprised he hasn't moved in yet. Mitch is changing. Not bad, but different. I feel like he's my friend again. His mom was sick this whole time, so... yeah. It makes sense now.
Butch, despite being a psycho, thought it was a sign a green gang had popped into his life. I joined because... their leader is kinda cool. He's a little bit older than you. But he's cool. He said that he likes Butch and me because we're brutes, you know. How I am, I mean. Well duh! Right? You saw me and still wanted me. Like a sister, I mean. Speaking of brutes, there is this other girl in the gang named Brute. She's a clone of me, just more of a bitch. Even if we don't like this gang, she'd be cool to hang out with.
I think she has a thing for Butch, though; it's gross that someone other than Bubbles wants the psycho's attention. Like out of all my brothers, Boomer can be sweet... when he isn't hitting on every pretty redhead (Blossom, too). Even you are way better than him! Like you cook, you're intelligent, strong, and have pretty eyes. I think. I can't wait to see you! Mommy said maybe this year? Hopefully?

Brick,
I'm sorry I didn't write. I was going through something last year, and I'm lucky Mitch helped me out. His mom got better, and he's a really good guy. You probably wouldn't recognize him anymore. He's different in a good way. Mom said you might be coming back this year. Would you like me to make something? I can! Be ready when you come here I'm going to show you how good my cooking skills are!
-Your Sister,
Buttercup Mojo
This is just to reflect a time skip. The next chapter will finally be with a 16-year-old Buttercup and an 18-year-old Brick. A 2 year gap, but I can finally make more steamy scenes.
