Ben23ten: You are about to see all of the changes that I made. Well… Bohman kidnapped Jin, just a few weeks prior to the Season. Yup. Yusaku and Skye are already dating and I plan on making a chapter, probably a really long chapter, on how they got together. Ai is like that annoying little brother that will tease his sibling about that and Aqua is the older sister that is supportive of the relationship. You got that right. That iCarly reference was stuck in my mind for like… 4 months when I wanted to make this joke. You are about to find out.
Unknowedz: Well, the timeline in here is based around my timeline, so something like the new Demon Slayer season would be up to line when I am writing the story. I think that might be the only Social Media that Theodore would unironically use.

Akira Zaizen breathed in and out.
In and out.
Ever since the defeat of the Hanoi and that the Tower Of Hanoi was demolished, Akira was able to get his position back as a security chief of SOL Tech as he was one of, if not, the best employee that they had due to how focused he is in his own job, more specifically for his younger step-sister.
Even though working for SOL Tech was tough, he was able to make sure that everything will be sorted by as quickly as possible, no matter what it cost. While he was at shock, and nearly blue screened, once he heard that his sister got a boyfriend, he understood who he was and calmed down, knowing that everything will be fine. Even after meeting her.
He was even allowed to work on programming the new version of Link VRAINS so that it could be better than the old version in many ways, including safer options for those who are scared that they would hurt themselves from Speed Duels. Even Kitamura was his assistant at times when Hayami wasn't available.
Normally, anyone will and had been punished for damaging and betraying SOL Technologies' trust to degrees of ruining their lives so that they wouldn't find any jobs for the rest of their lives which was the good ending for them, Kitamura, despite almost aligning with their greatest enemy Varis and the Knights of Hanoi, was spared and only demoted because dealing with the angered Bishop was a punishment worse than death and even they felt pity for the poor man.
Bishop rarely showed any emotions and when he did, almost no one could survive his wrath. There is even a rumour that it is possible that Bishop is SOL Tech's strongest Duelist, which is a contrast to his regular attitude.
Everything was all set and good for him.
So why was he breathing in and out?
He was ordered to have a call with both Queen and Bishop in an hour.
That was terrifying even for him.
While yes, he was ordered to have meetings with them before, however there was one reason why it was different.
It was in person.
For unknown reason, after the defeat of Varis, their chest piece forms broke apart to reveal Avatars that were alike of their original appearances. Which resulted in the meetings go from once a week to every other month, which was generous.
Akira then heard a beep on his desk. He answered it with a click of a button.
"Mister Akira," Hayami's voice went through, "both Queen and Bishop request a meeting right now."
Akira took a deep breath, "Understood. Let them in."
"Right." said Hayami as then, Akira's entire office changed into something that was the opposite of what most would expect.
It was a beautiful hotel with several of the rooms being empty, which might be the many hotels that SOL Tech owns, with a massive pool with emerald, turquoise lushious water that was floating like natural water. There was a beach bar that sold the finest of drinks that one can get. Next to the pool where two people laying on the benches.
One was a woman with short blue hair with green highlights. She wore red lipstick with black sunglasses that covered her eyes as she had pink earrings. She had a choker with a diamond shaped emblem and beneath it was a pearl necklace tied with string. She wore a black bra with blue shorts, as she wore a beige coloured jacket. There was a drink on her hand. She was Victoria Koyama, aka Queen.
The other was a man with long brown hair and sharp gray eyes. He has a growing stubble at the bottom of his face and as for his body, he was well defined as he only wore white swimming shorts. The man was sleeping on the benches. He is Shuku Shikyo Koduku, aka Bishop. He is actually one of the few, if not, the only pure Japanese man with a full middle name.
"Hello, Zaizen, you might be wondering why we had to call you." said Queen as she took a sip of her drink while not even bothering to look at Zaizen.
"I believe it is due to the recent publication of the new version of Link VRAINS." said Akira as that was his honest guess, which was the only thing he knew what today meant.
"You aren't half wrong, though you aren't half right. It is due to one thing: The Cyberse," said Queen which made Akira narrow his eyes at. He remembered his duel against Soulburner and how he consistently used monsters of the Cyberse Type and with his limited knowledge, he knew that The Cyberse was an important part of the deck and of the Ignis, "After the duel of Varis and Soulburner, the location of the Cyberse, or more specifically, the coordinates of it were known to us. We don't know why or how it happened, though we can assume it was because of the duel's output in energy."
"What is the issue then if you managed to find it? I assume of what you would be looking for would be there." asked Akira as it was an observation.
"That would be the case," both of them turned to Bishop as he slowly opened his eyes, "However what we saw was nothing we could have expected." Bishop then yawned into his hand before going back to his nap.
Queen nodded, "What he said was correct. While we did managed to get the location of the Cyberse, the place was… destroyed. Crumbled to pieces," Akira widened his eyes in shock, "Burned to the ground. It was disappointing to see what happened to it, though there is something other than that we could follow."
"What is it?" asked Akira as Queen turned to him.
"The Ignis." Queen said to which Akira stiffened hearing that, though he did recover from that. "The Ignis are still SOL Tech's most valuable products that we could earn back from. The Ignis still have their uses. It is highly unlikely that the Ignis would have been decimated by the destruction of it, even when taking in that variable, we have one target at the very least."
Akira stared at Queen and in his heart, he hoped that it wasn't her. That it wasn't the one that his sister befriended. The one that was like a sister to him. The one that-
"The Fire Ignis." It took all of Akira's being not to breathe in relief, though that did stop once he realized that was Soulburner's Ignis, aka Flame. "While we have no idea how they have hidden from us to this day as we did try to track down Soulburner and his companion's ID which resulted in nothing happening. Right now, we only have one solution. We must hunt down those three for the Fire Ignis."
"If I may ask, why do you want me to do it?" while he did know about them hiring Bounty Hunters, he didn't know that they would go out of the way to actually do it.
"It is simple, Zaizen," Queen took another sip of her drink as she then continued, "You are our most valuable employee and our most trustworthy. Someone like you would greatly help out SOL Technologies. Trusting someone like Kitamura would destroy the reputation and possibly align with The Knights Of Hanoi."
Bishop, in all honesty, felt kinda bad for hospitalization Kitamura for a few weeks after playing the Password Game, though it was a bit of karma, not for the possible alliance with Varis, no, because he plays Mystic Mine.
"What do you say, Zaizen?" asked Queen as Akira breathed in and out.
"I will agree to that." said Akira as it was the only way, there was no one else that could do it.
"Wonderful and here is a reminder… don't fail us." said Queen as then Bishop then opened his eyes.
"Wait, I need to ask him something." said Bishop as he turned his head, "Zaizen, you know that we know that your sister is Blue Angel, right?" Akira nodded, "Well, I have noticed something with her, or more specifically, her duel disk."
Akira looked at Bishop with a neutral face.
"Now, she wasn't seen during before the Tower Of Hanoi nor currently as Slayer will be the one to open Link VRAINS 2.0, however we have seen footage of her with Ghost Gal of all people being chased by The Shepherd, the best bounty hunter in the world, with a unique look on her duel disk, so tell us…" Bishop looked at him with the most calculated look on his face, "What is happening to your sister?"
"I don't know what you are talking about as what I have seen, it all seems the same, however, I will talk to her about that. Rest assured." said Akira as Bishop knew something was up, though… right now, he didn't bother with it.
"Alright. Just talk to your sister about this and that will be it." said Bishop as he then began to sleep once more. He didn't call Akira here for that, he just found Queen's place and decided to sleep on one of the benches.
"I will." said Akira as then he logged off.
He sighed. "That could have gone better." said Akira, which he was thankful to every God that it didn't end miserably as they were known as being ruthless. The one that everyone agreed that was the most friendly of them was the one that beat the shit out of someone.
Then, he heard people knock on the door, "Mr. Zaizen, the Bounty Hunters are here." said Hayami as Akira looked at the list of the Bounty Hunters and his eyes widened seeing 2 of them.
Akira then sat down as he looked at the door, "Let them in." said Akira as then Hayami opened the door with three people walking in.
One of them was George Gore of all people, wearing a different uniform compared to what he wore normally. His yellow hair turned into a combination of a pompadour and a fade, as his yellow hair was less metallic than before. He wore a skin tight dark green uniform that stuck onto his muscles, with several belts around his body, a deck box around his hips that had red lining and a showcase of his abs, which was coated in a dark blue fashion.
The other two wore a similar, lighter shade than normal. The one on the right was a man that was close to his height as he had a pink afro and pink eyes while the one on the right was a shorter man with spiky brown hair and brown eyes. The shorter boy was Yoroizaka Suzuki while the taller man was Kenmochi Tonozaki.
"Ahh, welcome gentlemen," Akira stood up as he handed his hand towards them, "It is a pleasure to meet all of you. It has been a while since we met, huh Gore?" asked Akira, slightly shocked that out of everyone, Gore was the last one he thought would become a Bounty Hunter.
"Not long enough, bub." said George as he then turned to face Akira, "I couldn't imagine working for SOL Tech and yet here we are."
"Indeed. I am interested in something. Who are these two and how do you know them exactly?" asked Akira as he turned to see Yoroizaka and Kenmochi. While he was not one to judge character, he didn't seem to know much about these two, them as people or their skills.
"These two punks? Well, they are Kenmochi." Gore turned his head to the pink haired one.
"Sup." said Kenmochi as he raised his head upwards. .
"And this is Yoroizaka," Gore then turned his head to the brown haired one.
"Hi." Yoroizaka waved at Akira.
"These two were basically my two biggest fans that tried to duel me several times in the past, lost several times for months and came back every other month for a rematch, always giving me a tougher duel than before." Gore explained as Akira nodded with every sentence, "To put it short, while not as strong as me, they aren't pushovers."
"I see, well, if I may ask, why exactly did you join the Bounty Hunters? Or why did you accept the job?" asked Akira which made Gore to narrow his eyes, "I would assume you were content with you sharing the spotlight with the three duelists that managed to defeat Varis, was I wrong with that?"
Before Gore could respond to Akira he felt a sharp pain in his head as he grabbed onto his head, which was like a spark of lightning of sorts. He then turned to Akira, ignoring the pain, "It is none of your concern, bub."
Akira crossed his arms as he looked at him, something was not right with this. It wasn't really him. So to say, and yet, it was not right to say it. He won't push things through if they weren't needed. "I see."
"Well, let's cut the meeting short. Give me all of the details that we have to know. The location, the person, the deadline, all of it." said George as Akira shook his head.
"I am afraid that won't be possible." said Akira which Gore looked at him shocked.
"What do you mean? Do you think I am weak? Incapable?!" yelled Gore as then Kenmochi and Yoroizaka walked towards him to calm him down.
"Woah, woah, chill, Gore, chill!" said Kenmochi as he tried to calm him down.
"He probably didn't mean it like that. Did you?" asked Yoroizaka as Akira shook his head.
"No, I did not. I simply meant that you have to wait for a few moments because not everyone is here at the current moment," Akira turned to Hayami who looked at the papers.
Hayami nodded to that, "He is telling the truth. There is only one person not here at the current moment."
"Are you serious?!" Hayami nodded when Gore yelled at her, "Tell him to appear in this room because no one keeps the Gore waiting!"
"I am afraid that you have to wait for him," said Akira as Gore turned to him and saw one of the most serious looks he has seen in recent times, "Because he is one duelist that you do not want to get on his bad side." He was one of the few people that genuinely intimidated him, as even though he didn't show it, he was still on guard whenever he spoke to him. He was one of the few people that was truthfully feared in Link VRAINS.

In the new version of Link VRAINS, Link VRAINS 2.0, several duelists have logged onto the server with a hopeful look on their faces that matched their excitement as they were basically bouncing from the new additions of surfer/hoverboards to customize there, new additions such as a sword, shield and even able to customize yourself as your favourite Anime character…which explains why a lot of them were mostly from Naruto, One Piece, Bleach or Jujutsu Kaisen.
Lots and lots of Gojos.
And Gokus.
Weird.
They even added something that was exclusive only to the new version which is specifically for Speed Duels. They added a feature that allowed duelists to flow through data storms like it was even the streets and this time it was in the air and basically everywhere that wasn't the ground.
Now, it was organized by one man. The current Number 1 Celebrity duelist.
Explosions appeared out of nowhere, as people could hear the roars of zombies and curses flying about with them being sliced the next minute, splitting them open like they were fruit with the speed of ninja and the power of a monster, as cars were flipped over and screams were heard, until silence.
Pure, powerful silence.
They then heard a gong ring through the server.
Gasps were heard through the entire server as only one man could make that sound seem intimidating.
A second gong ran through the server, silencing everyone in the server. Everyone could only hear through the silence.
A final and third gong was heard, almost causing someone to faint.
Then…
A figure jumped down to a stage as purple coloured explosions happened behind him, creating small shockwaves through the entire server as if it were a rave party as then the figure stood up. With gongs going full on throttle from there on.
It was a 26 year old man that had short blue hair as the hair around his forelock was red. He has amber coloured eyes. Around his neck it was a rusty yellow coloured scarf. His uniform consisted of a skin tight uniform that was dark blue which perfectly showed his physique, as there were parts of it being orange, which were his hips, biceps and feet. He had skulls on his knees and on his torso.
A mic appeared on the figure's hands as he then looked at everyone. "Rest…" Everyone were silent as he then continued, "In… Peace. My name is Slayer… and welcome to the new version of Link VRAINS!" several explosions burst through the arena, shaking the entire server as a result as Slayer, the current Number 1 Celebrity Duelist, welcomed everyone with that awesome entrance.
"Through the arts of evolution, we have evolved into a new state of dueling. One that shall be remembered for all entirety of Duel Monster History! Anyone that is willing to duel, will duel me now! This will be my exhibition match! Until I am defeated or the Sun is down, I won't back down! So let me hear your screams!" roared Slayer as he readied his duel disk that came out of his arm.
The sounds of applause could only be heard from that side of the server.
At a top of a different building, Ghost Gal, who decided to ditch her mask to show off her face, smiled down, "They sure are an excited bunch. They are like WWE fans watching the Undertaker fight. Can't blame them though, it is an exciting match at times. That is not all that is really cool, the new loot here is insane, it is almost like this place was specifically made for me."
Then her smile dropped as she turned to her right with her arms crossed, "Can't say for them though." What she was looking at was a hologram of Soulburner, Frostgirl and Stormrider all rotating with the words, "TO BE CAPTURED! REWARD: 500 000 ¥!" "You would think that they would put statues of them after saving their behind, not put a bounty on them."
"Though," Ghost Gal then turned to a cafe in Link VRAINS, "I do think only one of them wouldn't complain about that." She then jumped over to see what was going to happen there.
What she saw when she came down there were a group of thugs yelling at everyone, all looking like from a video game, as they all wore the same clothing, that being leather pants with chains on their pants, leather sleeveless jackets with a picture of a single Pokemon, that being Ferrothorn.
"Alright, ya damn punks! This turf belongs to us! The Black Ferrothorns!" yelled one of the thugs as they held a metal bat.
"Ya hear that? Buzz off!" yelled the other thug as he then had a crowbar as he swung the bar downwards to create a crack at a table.
"If ya think ya can call for yar mommas then go ahead!" The other thug then swung an iron chain around like a maniac as he then swung it towards one of the few people in the cafe.
"AH SHIT! YOU GUYS ARE INSANE!" yelled one of the few people in the cafe.
"And what's it to ya, punk?!" yelled one of the thugs as he got out his metal sword and swung it at a wall, creating a noticeable scratch on the wall.
"Ya saw that?! We are not foolin' anyone! All of y'all that ain't part of the crew, get the hell away from this place if ya don't want to be filled with bullets!" the leader held a gun, an actual fucking gun and shot a bullet upwards, making almost everyone run away from the cafe as Ghost Gal watched from one of the windows.
Key Word: Almost.
"Hey, bossman!" the thug with the chains yelled as the leader turned to a person sitting down without giving a care in the world. "This guy ain't moving an inch!"
"Oh we got a wise guy, eh?" asked the leader as he walked towards the man sitting down, "What's it to ya, bud? Ya think yer a tough guy, huh?" asked the leader of the Black Ferrothorns.
"I think it, I know it. I would appreciate if you lots get out of my sight right this second since hearing you mongrels talk is getting grating." said the man, which was revealed to be The Shepherd.
"Oh, I see, ya think yer tough! I see, I see." said the thug with the crowbar.
"Poor fool, don't know what's about to happen to him." the thug with a bat laughed evilly.
"Well, wiseguy, I would like to take up yer offer, though, it would be more approved if you moved out of the way, or we pop ya like a balloon." said the leader as he had his index finger on the trigger.
"You aren't scaring a middle schooler. Get out of my sight," said The Shepherd, not even bothering to look at them.
The leader laughed. "Or what?" asked the leader as The Shepherd narrowed his eyes.
"See what happens." said The Shepherd as the leader nodded to his crew as he placed his gun to The Shepherd's forehead.
"Oh we will see alright. Go bye bye." said the leader as then he pulled the trigger.
Though that was after something happened.
In a fraction of a second The Shepherd moved his head away as he used his robotic arm to grab the leader's arm to pull him closer so that he could deliver a haymaker straight to the jaw, knocking him out and falling to the ground. That shocked everyone around him as the thugs were furious.
"Bossman!" The thug with the chain then turned to The Shepherd, "You will pay for that!" he then threw the chain towards him.
The Shepherd merely moved his arm upward so that he would allow his arm to be wrapped around so that he could pull the thug towards him with enough force to make the thug fly towards him as he delivered a strong punch to the face, knocking most of his teeth.
Then the rest of the thugs, the ones with a metal bat, crowbar and a sword, all charged towards at him at once, however, The Shepherd wasn't phased in the slightest as he caught the one with a metallic bat with his robotic arm so that he could deliver a gut kick with his knee as he then grabbed the bar and slammed it towards the side of the thug's face, knocking him out cold.
The one with a crowbar charged at him to the back as The Shepherd then turned around, threw the metal bat at him which hit his chest, making him fall to the ground as well as his crowbar falling to the ground, which he picked up and blocked the attack from the sword with insane ease. He pushed the sword thug away by simply going up as then simply hit the man with the crowbar with his face, knocking him out as well.
The Shepherd stood tall as he managed to beat all of the thugs out cold in a single minute.
"Pathetic. You call yourselves a thug gang? You losers couldn't rob a candy from a baby! You think that power is everything, wrong, skill is important, and with the weapons," The Shepherd then grabbed the sword as he then broke the damn thing in two with his knee, "made out of plastic! You never stood a single chance! And I didn't even need to bother with my arm, you all fell to your weapons being used better than you idiots could ever dream of! Get the hell out of my sight!"
The leader stood up, "EVERYONE! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" yelled the leader of the Black Ferrothorns as they all stood up and ran away from The Shepherd.
"We are not done!"
"Count yer days!" they yelled out as The Shepherd sneered at them.
"Good luck with that, you morons." said The Shepherd as he then sat down.
"Holy shit." said one of the bystanders as they were watching the fight.
"He defeated them all with ease!"
"He has to be a Bounty Hunter."
"Well, well, well, you are charming as ever, Shepherd." said Ghost Gal as then The Shepherd turned to her with narrowed eyes.
"Ghost Gal," he said with venom in his voice so hot that it would have melted steel. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh you know, walking around to see the new loot that I might be interested in, maybe even gloat after your second failed attempt of capturing your target." said Ghost Gal as The Shepherd slammed his fist onto the table.
"I had her in my palms! If you didn't intervene, her entire being would have been vaporized!" yelled The Shepherd.
"Really now? Even after your loss against Stormrider?" asked Ghost Gal with a grin on her face.
"Says the person that couldn't defeat Soulburner even when you knew most of his deck," said The Shepherd which made Ghost Gal gasp hearing that.
"How did you- That duel wasn't even public!" yelled Ghost Gal which Shepherd had a smirk on his face, covered by his mask.
"Do you really think you are the only one that is able to watch things that aren't public? I even saw your defeat of Varis. And many more." said Shepherd as Ghost Gal was surprised to hear that as that would mean that anything that is not public was available to him and only him, giving him an unfair advantage compared to others. This showed that he was different from other Bounty Hunters.
"Well… I heard from someone that you were ordered to hunt down the Ignis for their own goal." said Ghost Gal as The Shepherd nodded.
"The same to you," said The Shepherd as Ghost Gal shook her head.
"They did, but I declined the offer." she said.
"Knowing you, it would be because they didn't offer enough money." theorized The Shepherd.
"Please, even if they added a dozen more zeros, I still would decline because that is not even worth trying to catch either of them." said Ghost Gal as she heard him laugh to himself.
"Well, nothing will change for me. I won't let my prey escape, not after what you did." said The Shepherd as he then stood up and walked away as Ghost Gal looked at him walking away.
Ghost Gal sighed, "Well… good luck to you three, since you are going to need it."
She wondered though…

Theodore and Seigen were having the most important, philosophical debate that has ever been graced on the planet Earth as Kiku and Flame were watching them with an interested look on their faces.
"Lions could not survive a fucking day under harsh weather conditions that is perfectly calibrated to their liking." said Theodore as he stood up, tired from this argument.
"They live in the Savannah, man! It is like the desert! The harshest weather condition there could be!" argued Seigen with a grin on his face, as Kiku and Flame tried their hardest not to laugh at what they are hearing. It was basically that age old conversation of who would win: 1 of every Pokemon or 1 billion lions, in which Theodore (Who only knows the original 151 Pokemon) said that they would win and Seigen went for the lions in which it somehow resulted in talking about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and Theodore using a gun to help his Pokemon pals.
"Now go somewhere cold, which is where I will be-" began Theodore until Seigen cut him with the strongest argument anyone has ever had.
"Lion jacket." Seigen said with the upmost of seriousness in his tone and expression, almost mirroring the biggest shit eating grin you have ever seen in your life.
Kiku and Flame bursted laughing from that one comment, Seigen looked at him with a shit eating grin and Theodore looked at him with the most done face anyone could ever see.
"Don't look at me like that." said Theodore with a disgusted tone.
"He's stunned." said Kiku, while still laughing.
"He is incredibly stunned." said Flame trying to keep himself together from bursting into laughs.
"The lions adapt." answered Seigen with a smug grin on his face.
"They are going to use some of the lions, murder them and create a new coat?" asked Theodore with the most done look on his face.
"Yes," answered Seigen to which Theodore then stood up once more to throw his hands into the air.
"Sounds plausible to me." said Kiku with a set of giggles saying that.
"You can't build a trebuchet, you can't build a catapult, you can't build a boat made out of god damn lions. You can not find a schematic of that," said Theodore as Seigen looked at him.
"The lions can." he said as Theodore slapped himself as he then walked away.
"Oh the fucking lions, of course! Why not?!" Theodore said as he walked away from them as they continued to laugh about this.
Kiku stopped her rain of giggles, "This was fun, though I have to go, I heard several notifications from my phone." said Kiku as she then stood up from the couch and began walking away.
"Sure. I heard that Slayer is in the middle of a long streak of exhibition matches. What was it right now, like 6 duels in a row? He is insane." said Seigen as he then took the remote as Flame noticed something was off as it was flickering.
"Odd… I thought it was off." said Flame as Seigen pressed a button on the remote, yet it did nothing.
"Y-Yeah, is something off?" Seigen then smacked the remote to see if anything was off. Very, very off.
Flame then noticed the static going stronger and stronger each minute, as if something was happening. "S-Seigen."
"Yeah?"
"What is that?" asked Flame as he pointed to a figure and it was strange one, one that was being obscured of a green outer shell. The head of the being was that of a blob that was alive and wants freedom, it yearns for freedom and yet it was inside of the shell of the body as it emitted emerald coloured aura that was like that of fire.
Seigen gulped, "I have no clue." He then pressed a button and nothing changed.
The being then walked forward to the screen in a threatening manner to the point it freaked Flame out and made Seigen click the off button faster than before.
"Seigen… turn the TV off." said Flame as Seigen clicked it faster with every passing second as he was sweating bullets.
"I am trying! I am trying!" yelled Seigen as he feared what was about to happen to them or someone or anything as the being inched closer. "Stay away from us… Get out.."
"Seigen…" Kiku came out of a different room with a worried face, "Is something wrong? You sound troubled."
"LOOK AT THE SCREEN!" Seigen pointed at the screen and to her shock she saw it. The green being.
"What the heck!?" she said with widened eyes. "What is that?!"
"I have no idea! Just- JUST STAY FROM ME!" screamed Seigen as then the being inched closer and closer, to terrifying heights as he then raised his hands upwards. "What… is he doing?" He said, moving as far as he could on the couch.
"It looks as if he is going through the TV, but no, no, it can not be, it is impossible for someone to do that. Even an Ignis couldn't do that." said Flame as the being's hands were going closer through the TV.
"It can't be possible…"

To their horror, a hand went through the TV, to everyone's horror, and then another hand went through as then the being used it as a way of opening up a portal which was enough for him to move his entire being out of the TV. It placed its foot on the ground as he then looked downwards to its prey as the being was a large, built being not one of normal stature.
"What the fu- WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING!?" screamed Seigen which was enough for Theodore to kick down the door as he ran to the room.
"What's wrong?!" yelled Theodore as he then widened his eyes as he saw a large being in the living room, towering over his best friend as he was paralyzed from fear, "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!"
"Teddy!" Seigen turned his head to his best friend as they saw the being walk closer and closer towards him. "Save me! I don't know what this thing is, I just know it wants me for some reason!"
"Don't worry, I got this!" yelled Theodore as he then ran towards the being with his fist closed as he then ran to punch him on the face and yet… the punch went through him. Theodore then fell to the ground.
"Are you alright?!" yelled Kiku in concern for her boyfriend.
Theodore turned his head towards the being, "Yeah, don't worry." the silver-red haired boy then tried to kick the being, however it went through the being once more.
"Try something else. TRY SOMETHING ELSE!" Seigen screamed his head off as he tried to find a new way of getting out of this situation with fear in his voice.
Kiku ran to the kitchen and grabbed the nearest object which she could find, which is a fork, so she then ran where the emerald coated being was and threw it at him, phasing through it once more. "Nothing can work with him."
"We should not exclude fire!" yelled Flame as he then threw a ball made out of fire towards the being, even then, it did nothing to it.
"Guys…" The being was then right in front of him as they saw pure fear and horror in his eyes. "I am scared. Call the poli-"
Seigen was cut off by the being as he was grabbed into the air as he was being choked by the being.
"SEIGEN!" they all yelled as they tried their hardest to drop their friend down to the ground, it resulted in doing nothing, not one thing worked as even when they tried to lock off its fingers from his throat though they were a paradox, an oxymoron as even though it made contact with Seigen's throat, it didn't for anyone else's skin.
Seigen tried his hardest to punch his way out of this, though his fists went through the being's skin as even then it was impossible for them to do anything to them as everything went through him. Seigen shed several tears from fear and pain as then the blob inside of the being opened up swallowing every bit of his soul until there is nothing left.
In their own horror, they were powerless to stop it from taking the soul of their best friend. Once it was done, it threw the body of Seigen, its new lifeless, soulless body, onto the ground and walked towards the TV to go back to its master.
"SEIGEN!" they all yelled as they reached towards his body as Kiku tried to shake his body with fear evident in her eyes, though for Theodore, he stayed his eyes locked onto the being, being inside of Link VRAINS.
"Guys… he is in Link VRAINS." said Theodore, anger growing wider in every sentence as he then turned to both of them with a pissed off look. They looked at him and they knew what they had to do.

INTRO!

We start out in the world of Link VRAINS, as we first see Soulburner flying to the air, knocking out some clouds in his way, as then beside him was Frostgirl who flew around her boyfriend, as then above them came down two figures, the first was Playmaker who flew down to their level as right beside him was Blue Angel as to their shock, they had an Ignis of their own. They then flew to a tower as then a title showed up which was "Bring The Heat, Soulburner!"

We then cut to Theodore, Kiku and Seigen in new uniforms walking to their new school, Den City's School. They walked past Shima Naoki, as he tried to talk to them, but they walked past him with just a wave of their hands.
Continue to wander, seeking a meaning for living
They continued to walk forward until two new people walked forward and joined with them. They were Skye Zaizen and Yusaku Fujiki. Seigen waved to the both of them as Kiku and Skye had a small conversation as Theodore hugged his new friend to the sides, much to the shock of Yusaku.
Even if it's not right, we just stare before us
We get new shots of George Gore walking out of his house, leaving behind his signature clothing with eyes that were… not like his, as like he was walking out of his old life for one that wasn't his. There was an image of Theodore, Yusaku and Skye's Duel Disks which showed different glows, one was dark red, the other purple and the last one light blue. From there, eyeballs popped out, much to the shock of Flame.
Next we see Cal Kolter next to a hill with a can in his hands, looking at the new horizon with determined eyes as he breathed, letting out cold air from his mouth. We then see Theodore and Kiku looking in horror as Seigen's full of life eyes now devoid of life as a figure went back to the TV that he was watching.

Then we see 3 Ignis having a conversation. Or more accurately, Flame and The Dark Ignis were having an argument, which the Dark Ignis started to yell at him to which Flame didn't back down. The Water Ignis, who was right beside them, shook her head in disappointment. We now see Theodore, Yusaku, Kiku and Skye all inserting their decks into their duel disks, ready to go into the Network.
We see quick images of Akira and The Shepherd looking at each other as their eyes were narrowed at each other, the next was Queen, Victoria Miryoku, and Bishop, Shuku Shikyo Koduku, on a beach with the former drinking martini and the latter taking a nap, as the next we see a small boy that looked like Kolter in a hospital, with the same life devoid eyes as Seigen, next one was Ryoken and the rest of the Hanoi breaking into a prison to save one of their members and the last one showed two Ignis watching two humanoid beings practise dueling each other.

We then see in Link VRAINS, both Soulburner and Playmaker were being chased by The Shepherd as he sent out several missiles at them, and even shooting from his arm, as they had Salamangreat Burst Gryphon, Salamangreat Heatleo, Salamangreat Emerald Eagle, Cyberse Magician, Decode Talker and Cyberse Quantum Dragon flying with them as The Shepherd sent several of his Drone monsters at them.
Right beside them were Frostgirl and Blue Angel being chased by the former Number 1 Celebrity Duelist, The Gore, in a new uniform as he sent out an armada of several Dinowrestler monsters as they had General Edward Of The Ice Barrier, Trishula, The Dragon of The Ice Barrier, Trickstar Holy Angel and Trickstar Violet Sylph battling the new bounty hunter.

Then we see a muscular humanoid being uncovered in front of Soulburner and Frostgirl as then he looked at them with a glare as the smaller humanoid being smiled as he saw his brother pull out a never before seen card until now.
I want to feel that same pain.
Then we see the same muscular humanoid being in new clothing challenge Playmaker, as they both sent out powerful monsters after another, creating a small explosion afterwards. The next we see The Earth Ignis watching in the shadows of the ones that had an Ignis with narrowed eyes. We then see The Knights Of Hanoi, all ready with new cards in their deck, ready to strike forward.
123... 123... with soul! Yeah! Yeah!
We then see several monsters fly upwards. They were the ace monsters of our heroes which were: Salamangreat Heatleo, Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix, Decode Talker, Firewall Dragon, General Edward Of The Ice Barrier, Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Trickstar Holy Angel, Trickstar Violet Sylph and Marincess Wonder Heart.

As then we then see images: Kolter giving hot dogs to Theodore, Kiku and Seigen as Skye giggles and Yusaku has a small smile on his face, Ghost Gal looking at The Shepherd when he is not looking with a sad look on her face, Akira secretly watching his sister, Bullet Kuriboh rubbing his face on Varis' and finally, everyone looking at the sky in a hopeful manner.

Soulburner, Frostgirl and Flame appeared in Link VRAINS after months of not showing their faces for a couple of months and to say that they caused attraction would be an understatement of the century of the year, in fact some people even tried to catch up to them as quickly as they could.
"Holy crap it is them!"
"Soulburner and Frostgirl!"

"Who cares?! They are back!"

The audience cheering for the heroes of Link VRAINS erupted across the server, catching the attention of The Shepherd.
The Shepherd smirked behind his mask as he then jumped down to the sky as a hoverboard in the form of a revolver appeared in the data, a net appeared in front of him. "WHAT?!" he yelled out as Ghost Gal chuckled. "Ghost Gal…" he said as he turned to her as she had a smirk on her face.
"Sorry, buddy, but this is their beef, not yours." said Ghost Gal as with a flick of her fingers, The Shepherd, in her net, logged out of the network.
Back at our heroes, the two were speeding through Link VRAINS, laser focused on the attention of their opponents, the one that stole their best friend's soul and nothing will stand in their way.
"Hold it!"
Which was what I would've said as then out of nowhere a boy appeared out of nowhere. "You aren't going anywhere! You aren't dueling my brother!" The boy was a short boy compared to the massive being that was now known as his brother.
He had short round yellow hair at the back, orange hair at the front and near the sides was light red. He had orange eyes with red osirises, as he had a white scarf with a red star emblem at the front of it as he had a white jacket with yellow lining at the start and end of the jacket, as he wore a blue shirt with long sleeves. He had an orange belt buckle with orange pants and long white boots with yellow stars on them.
That snapped everyone from what they have just heard as they weren't expecting to hear that. "Brother?"
"Wait… He is your brother?" asked Flame.
"That's right, Fire Ignis," said the boy as he turned his attention back towards his brother, "He is my big brother. And I was instructed to look after him until he was finished."
Soulburner narrowed his eyes, "With what?" asked Soulburner.
The boy chuckled, "You'll see. However, what you won't see is anywhere other than this place right here." said the boy.
Frostgirl narrowed her eyes, "Look, kid-"
"I have a name. It is Harlin." said the boy now known as Harlin which they nodded to.
"Look, Harlin, your brother stole our friend's soul and we want with that soul is to give it back no matter what, so please, give it back and we won't bother with your brother." said Frostgirl as Harlin shook his head, making Soulburner grit his teeth.
"No can do, no one is getting through to my brother. Even if I have to duel both of you, then so be it." said Harlin as he got out his duel disk.
Soulburner and Frostgirl looked at each other as they then nodded, "Fine. If it is a duel you want, then it is a duel you will get!" yelled Soulburner as Flame narrowed his eyes at that. He looked at the boy with narrowed eyes as something was off about this whole situation and this duel might be the key to that.
"DUE-"
"Wait." said the being, which will be named to Unknown for the time being, as he flew towards Harlin, "Let me assist you, brother. I do not wish to see you with a disadvantage."
"Are you sure? You should go so that you can be complete! I was instructed to do so." said Harlin as Unknown shook his head.
"I am afraid that won't be possible for this situation. I do not wish to see you fighting two opponents at once, so let me assist you." said Unknown as Harlin sighed.
"You are always stubborn like this." Harlin sighed as he then looked at his opponents and then he grinned, "Sure, you can go. However… Let's make this a regular Tag Team Speed Duel, alright? One turn per Round, one Skill per turn, same field, graveyard and life points. Does that sound fair?" Soulburner, Flame and Frostgirl nodded at that. "Great. Ready, brother?" Unknown nodded.
They all then yelled.

All 4 Duelists drew 4 cards from their deck as they looked at them to which Harlin went first, "I will begin this duel! Since there are no monsters in the Main Monster Zones, I am allowed to Special Summon this monster! Hydradrive Booster!"
At Harlin's becking call appeared a monster they have never seen before, it was a serpent, dragon-fly like monster with a metallic tail with spikes around the body as there were 4 small wasp-like wings with an emblem that was like that of a shield that was blue on the front and had red lining all over it as the edges were that of gold with the back being that of a cap with a spike on top of it.

Both Frostgirl and Soulburner shook their heads in complete shock at to what they were seeing right in front of them. Which that made them widened their eyes. "Is that-"
"A Cyberse monster?" both of them were shocked to see those types of monsters used by other people other than them and him.
"How did you acquire them?" asked Flame to which Harlin smirked.
"Do you honestly believe that you guys are the only ones that are available to use them? Well, let me break it to you! You aren't! I now generate my circuit!" yelled Harlin as then a circuit appeared above them as they looked upwards, "The Summoning Conditions requires 1 Hydradrive monster, so I set my Hydradrive Booster in the Link Arrows!" yelled Harlin as his sole monster went upwards to the downwards Link Arrow.
"I Link Summon! Link-1, Grand Hydradrive!" yelled Harlin as then on the shared field's Right Extra Monster Zone appeared a massive monster that was alike of an echidna as it has massive orange coloured shoulder pads and gauntlets with yellow claws as the skin was brown with several lining going around its skin.

"Now, I am allowed to summon Hydradrive Bringer!" yelled Harlin as then on his field appeared a small orb that was yellow coloured with massive blue coloured teeth with yellow wings on the side as the top was purple.

Soulburner mouthed a "What the fuck?" while Frostgirl was more verbal and said, "Eww."
"Hate the appearance all that you want, you can not lie that the effect is not powerful! When normal summoned I am allowed to bring back a Hydradrive monster from my graveyard back to my hand." said Harlin as then a card popped out of his duel disk as he then grabbed onto it and added it to his hand.
"Which is now enough for me to generate my circuit for the second time!" a circuit appeared above Harlin as they looked above them to see the Link Arrow above them, "The Summoning Condition requires 1 Hydradrive monster, so I set my Hydradrive Bringer to the Link Arrow!" yelled Harlin as then the monster flew upwards to hit the lone Link Arrow that was at the bottom.
"I Link Summon! Link-1, Flow Hydradrive!" As then, below Grand Hydradrive's Bottom-Middle's Link Arrow appeared a second Link monster as it was that of a massive bird. With had massive white coloured wings with a long green tail, as the body was that of sharp blades protruding from the knees as behind the monster were massive green coloured wings.

Harlin then took 2 cards from his hand and then set them, "I set two cards face down and end my turn." said Harlin as 2 cards were then set vertically behind Flow and Grand Hydradrive as Harlin and his brother flew away from their enemies.
"Huh? That is it?" asked Soulburner as he was expecting much more than what he just did.
"Yup and let me tell you, this duel is only getting started as what I just did was only the start of your defeat." said Harlin with a grin on his face.
Turn 2.
"Hey… Teddy." Soulburner then turned to Frostgirl as she looked at her hand, "Is it alright if I go first? I believe that I have a strong starting hand." she said as Soulburner smiled at her.
"Of course you can. Knock em down." said Soulburner with a smile on his face as Flame looked at his friend with an interested look on his face as he knows that pretty much all of them have gotten upgrades to their original decks.
"Thank you. I draw!" yelled Frostgirl as she then drew the top card of her deck as she then looked at it with a shrug, "Could be worse," she said as she placed the card to her hand to take out 1 card from her hand with an excited look on her face, "I will begin my turn by normal summoning my Revealer Of The Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl.
It was a young beautiful woman. She had long red hair that was almost designed in a hair bun, as she wore a nice looking dress that was blue and light blue. Around it, there was a light blue cloth as she wielded a staff.

Harlin narrowed his eyes seeing that as before this, he got a decent grasp on everyone's decks with Gouki, Salamangreat and Ice Barriers should they get involved into this battle. He knew the effect of this monster as well as most of her Extra Deck monsters, including General Edward Of The Ice Barrier.
Frostgirl then thrusted her arm forward, "I now activate Revealer's Special Ability!" yelled Frostgirl as Flame then continued for her.
"Once per turn, she is allowed to discard one card from her hand," began Flame as Frostgirl revealed that she is discarding her Prior of the Ice Barrier to the graveyard, "So that she could special summon 1 Ice Barrier Tuner monster from her deck!"
A card popped out of her deck to which she took it, "I reveal and summon Geomancer of the Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl as then on her field appeared a smaller woman compared to Revealer, as her hair was in a form of pigtails with a blue orb around her brown hair, as she wore the Ice Barrier crest as a shield, as her dress was light purple and her lining was dark blue as she wore blue pants.

"Before I begin with my plays, I will play this new card! Celestial Bell Tower!" yelled Frostgirl as then behind her and Soulburner appeared a woman with long red hair fused with a bell as the bell acted like a yellow dress for her as her arms were that of bells. "This new Continuous Spell card allows the duelist that performs a Synchro Summon to draw a new card from their deck!"
Pretty much everyone that was watching the duel widened their eyes hearing the effect of that card as it was the perfect card for her if she wanted to have new cards in her hand as she was a Synchro User more than anything and it does help with Soulburner as he has a new Synchro Monster, which may be a problem for Harlin and his brother.
"Awesome! That card is perfect for you- Wait… a great card for us!" said Soulburner as he realized that it worked for everyone in the duel. And since he knew the new type of summoning of Reincarnation Synchro Summoning, this will boost their chances of winning.
"Of course it is. You aren't the only one to get stronger, Teddy," Frostgirl said to her boyfriend as then the entire world changed into black and white with the exception of her eyes, "Now it is time for me to tune my monsters! I tune my Level 3 Geomancer of the Ice Barrier with my Level 4 Revealer of the Ice Barrier!"
Both of her monsters flew upwards as they turned into rings, with Geomancer turning into 3 blue rings while Revealer turning into 4 green rings as they then clashed into a massive pillar of light behind her.
3 + 4 = 7!
Frostgirl began to chant, "Appear, the dragon whose very own entry causes a never ending blizzard of destruction! I Synchro Summon! Gungnir, Dragon of The Ice Barrier!" she yelled out as then a powerful dragon appeared from it. It was a large monster that doubled the size of her Brionac as the insides were red as they were burning inside of it as the monster's wings were sharper and larger than that of normal dragons. It looked at Specter's field and roared.

Celestial Bell Tower began to swing around, creating a harmonic tone for everyone to hear, "Thanks to my Continuous Spell card, I am allowed to draw one card from my deck!" Frostgirl said as she drew a card from her deck.
She nodded as she then discarded the card to her graveyard, "I now activate the effect of my Gungnir! I am allowed to discard up to 2 cards from my hand to the graveyard so that I can destroy the same amount that I discarded! I will pick your far left one!" yelled Frostgirl as then Gungnir opened its maw to charge a beam made out of ice, "Ice Breath!" as then ice came out of the mouth in blinding speed.
To which Harlin smirked at, "That won't happen! I activate my Trap! Card Of Pandora! When you target a card in my Spell and Trap zone to destroy them, I can activate this card instead! The effect is that you will now target this card instead and when it is destroyed, I am allowed to draw 2 cards!" yelled Harlin as then the beam of ice then changed its trajectory towards a different target which was Harlin's other set card, blowing it up.
Harlin then drew the top 2 cards from his deck.
"Ahh byte! He gained advantage on your turn!" yelled Flame to which Frostgirl bit her lip seeing that.
"I can see that." Frostgirl said as then a card popped out of her deck, "Well, I can still activate the effect of my Mirror Mage Of The Ice Barrie-"
"Wait, sorry to cut you," Soulburner said as Frostgirl turned to her boyfriend as he looked at her with a confused look, "but isn't the name of that monster, Mirror Magic Master Of The Ice Barrier?"
"Well, it was, however, it changed names once the West localized the name to a simpler one." Soulburner 'ahh'ed at that. "To continue where I was cut off, Mirror Mage's effect activates! When sent to the graveyard, I am allowed to add 1 Ice Barrier monster that is either banished or in the deck, so I take my General Wayne from my deck." said Frostgirl as she took the card that popped out of her deck.
She took 2 cards from her hand, "I will now set 2 cards face down." two cards were then set vertically behind Gungnir before they disappeared in the air. "Now… Battle! Gungnir will now attack your Flow Hydradrive! Ice Breath!" yelled Frostgirl as then the monster opened up its maw as then ice cold breath went towards the summoned Link Monster as Harlin covered himself while Unknown didn't flinch at that.

"Good work," said Flame as then Harlin narrowed his eyes.
"Not good enough! When Flow Hydradrive is destroyed by battle or by card effect, I am allowed to summon a Hydradrive Token!" yelled Harlin as then on his field appeared a smaller serpent than before with a Hydradrive symbol on its head.

Frostgirl frowned seeing that as he was able to do enough for her own turn as she then turned to Unknown, "That is all for my turn. Go ahead." said Frostgirl, waiting on what Unknown might do.
Turn 3. Unknown - 6500 lp - 4 cards
"Brother." Unknown turned to Harlin, "Can you make it so that I could use my Skill this turn? I want to show them our secret weapon." Harlin said as Unknown nodded.
"Of course. Leave it to me. I draw." Unknown drew the top card of his deck as he then looked at it and wordlessly activated it, "I activate my Spell card, Hydradrive Readvent." Unknown's Spell card appeared beside him as he took a card from his graveyard, "I can target 1 Link Monster in our graveyard that has less attack points than a monster you control with the highest attack points, I am allowed to Special Summon it."
Frostgirl clicked her tongue as Soulburner gritted his teeth as he managed to find a way to get his monster back without a problem.
"Come, Flow Hydradrive." said Unknown as then on the Middle Main Monster Zone appeared Flow Hydradrive.

"The monster loses its effect and it is destroyed at the End Phase. Then… I generate my circuit." a circuit appeared above Unknown and his brother, "The Summoning Condition requires 1 Hydradrive Monster, so I set my Hydradrive Token in the Link Arrow." his Hydradrive Token then went towards the Bottom-Middle Link Arrow.
"I Link Summon. Link-1, Coolant Hydradrive." said Unknown as then on Grand Hydradrive's Bottom-Middle Link Arrow appeared a serpent with the body being separated into several ice blue parts as there were red lines going through the massive ice blocks with the wings being that of sharp ice edges with the head being that of a reptile with several spikes on the top of its head. There was a Hydradrive Emblem on its chest.

"He has 3 Link-1 monsters with the same attack points and Link Arrows… I don't like this." said Soulburner as he narrowed his eyes seeing that.
"I concur… it seems as though something of massive power is going to appear." said Flame with narrowed eyes.
"And you should be afraid of its power! What we are going to do has enough power to destroy several worlds!" Harlin then turned to his brother, "Brother! It is time!"
Unknown wordlessly nodded to that, "Understood. This will bring us to a new height."
Harlin smiled at that, "You got that right. I activate my Skill! Marker's Portal! If we both have fewer life points than the opponent, we are allowed to take 1 Link Spell card from the deck and then we are allowed to activate it!" yelled Harlin as his star glew with a bright light as that confused everyone else.
"Link…"
"Spell?" asked both Soulburner and Frostgirl from hearing that. "What is that? Do you know what that is, Flame?" asked Frostgirl as she turned to Flame who was shocked to hear that.
"No, I have no idea what that is, but… why do I feel like that feels familiar to me? Something that someone was working with?" asked Flame as he then looked at Harlin with narrowed eyes.
"You are about to see. Go… The Three Arrows of Judgement! The DIvine Intermission! Power that leads to a higher being as its progress is out of this world! Appear, a one of a kind card!" Harlin chanted as then a massive bolt of lighting struck both him and his brother at the same time as then they were then see to be fine as on their field was something that was supposedly impossible. A card was played on Flow Hydradrive's Bottom-Middle Link Arrow which was in the middle of the Main Monster zones, "Judgement Arrows."

This single card showed more shock than anything before them, something that they thought was impossible to even think about as it was an achievement that couldn't be documented. A card that lived in the Spell and Trap zone that had Link Arrows like Link Monsters would have.
It was like a Pendulum Monster, but as an upgrade.
"Interesting…" said King in a different room than before as it was a roundtable alike of the Gaelic Mythologies of King Arthur and Excalibur as beside him was Queen, Bishop, Rook and Knight, all sitting down in their VRAINS Avatars. They all had varying looks of shock as Bishop and King were the only ones that were calm about this. "A Link Spell? This got even more interesting."
"But… but how!?" yelled Rook with a mix of an angered and shocked look on his face, "Last time we tried to make up our own Link Spell Cards or even a Link Trap that would give us the advantage, nothing worked! The last time we tried doing that, it exploded right at our faces! So how the fuck did that glowing emerald and that little kid got that card?!"
What Rook said was the full faced truth as during their years of researching, they tried their best to harness the strength of the Ignis years before Varis showed up and tried to murder them all to save humanity, even if it was non comparable to their strengths as it was comparing a child to an experienced soldier in a war. Though that did result in an explosion that didn't kill anyone, it did scar Rook and Knight to the point of them having scars around their hands and upper torso.
"There are two possibilities on how this may have happened." Rook turned to Bishop, "1 is that the person that has made it was an Ignis and it would make sense since they are more skilled than us, or 2, the being that has made the new card was a higher being that even we couldn't compare ourselves to."
"Both are plausible." said Knight as he turned to see the newly made Judgement Arrows, "Though I would say that option 1 is more believable than the other one specifically due to the fact that from the data of those two aren't that of a human."
"Are you suggesting that they are AIs?" asked Queen which Knight didn't give a reaction to that.
"Possibly." said Knight.
Bishop then turned to see King, "So, how should we handle this situation? I am pretty sure that you would want that new card so that we could make copies of it, am I correct on that?" Bishop guessed which King nodded to that.
"You are sharp as ever, Bishop. While it is true that I desire to have that new card for the new Judgement Arrows, we need to observe what it could do since it could either be a game changing effect or something that is not even worth it." said King as Rook then leaned on his chair.
"What happens if it is a great effect? Do we chase after those two shmucks? Or do we catch them? If so I am volunteering on hunting them down, it has been a while since I last dueled like crazy." said Rook as King shook his head.
"If we allowed that, then why would we hire Bounty Hunters to hunt them down?" King pointed out to which Rook frowned on that, "Besides, we are still a company and we have to keep a good image on us at all costs, wouldn't you agree? Could you imagine the public's reaction to one of the higher ups hunting someone down as he was specifically ordered to? Our image would crumble."
"I guess you are right." Rook grumbled as King turned to them dueling, interested on what is going to happen next as he patiently awaits for his project to show up. Something he has been working on for 16 years.
Back to the duel, Soulburner, Flame and Frostgirl all had their jaws dropped once they saw something that couldn't be compared to the power of that card alone. It was almost like that of the Egyptian God Cards.
"What is that thing?" asked Soulburner in shock as Harlin smirked.
"That is Judgement Arrows, our ace in the hole. Something that can not be replicated in a century. Good luck getting rid of it," said Harlin as Frostgirl smirked.
"Oh yeah?! Well, how about I try it?! Go! Terror Of Trishula, activate!" One of her set cards were then activated as Frostgirl then began to explain its effects, "When this card is activated, the number of effects it can do is depened on how many Ice Barrier Synchro Monsters I have on the field and since I control Gungnir, I can now apply the first effect! I banish 1 card you control which will be your Judgement Arrows!" yelled Frostgirl.
From the Trap Card, a breeze of air that was comparable to Sub Zero then flew towards the lone Link Spell, though Unknown wouldn't let that happen, "Not so fast. I activate my Quick-Play Spell card, Hydradrive Deletion!" yelled Unknown as he played a card that appeared on the field as the image showed Twin Hydradrive Knight slashing through Salamangreat Heatleo and Sunlight Wolf with his two blades as the 2 monsters are being turned into data material.
[Hydradrive Deletion: Quick-Play Spell - If a Spell/Trap activates an effect that would make Judgement Arrows or a Hydradrive Monster leave the field, negate and destroy it and if you do, destroy 1 face-down Spell Or Trap your opponent Controls. "When a Spell or Trap card would be activated that would make either a Hydradrive Monster or Judgement Arrows leave the field, I am allowed to negate that effect and destroy it!" yelled Unknown as then Coolant Hydradrive flew towards the new succumbing breeze as it then fought fire with fire, or in this case, ice with ice as it stopped the ice from going anywhere as it was subdued.
"Then, I am allowed to destroy 1 face-down Spell or Trap card that you control!" Frostgirl widened her eyes as she saw Flow Hydradrive fly even further as then a massive gale appeared from the two wing spans as it was then shot straight towards Frostgirl's lone set card, which was Ice Barrier.
"Now, I will generate my circuit!" a massive circuit appeared above the two, "The Summoning Conditions require 2 Hydradrive Link monsters, so I set Grand Hydradrive and Flow Hydradrive in the Link Arrows!" the two monsters then flew upwards as they hit the two middle Link Arrows.
"I Link Summon! Link-2, Twin Hydradrive Knight!" On Judgement Arrow's Top-Middle Link Arrow, appeared a new monster. It was a massive monster with large biceps and shoulder pads with the armour being that of gold plating, silver plating and bronze plating with the armour being that of a knight. He wore a helmet that had orange hair alike a pony tail as he carried 2 gold twin swords.

"What the?! In the Main Monster Zone?!" yelled Soulburner in shock as he saw that the monster that he just summoned was in the Main Monster zone instead of the Extra Monster Zone. Could this be the power of Judgement Arrows?!
Unknown didn't answer. Instead he said this. "When Twin Hydradrive Knight is Link Summoned, he gains the attributes that he was used to Link Summon. Since Flow Hydradrive was Wind, he is now Wind Attributed as well." said Unknown as Twin Hydradrive Knight's twin swords began to shine different colours, one was brown and the other was green.
Twin Hydradrive Knight: Earth/Wind Attribute
"I now activate Pot Of Greed, allowing me to draw 2 cards from my deck. I set a card face down," said Unknown as a card was set vertically behind Coolant Hydradrive and Twin Hydradrive Knight before disappearing as he had 2 cards left in his hand.
"Now… Battle! Coolant Hydradrive is allowed to attack directly if there is a monster on the field that shares the same Attribute and since you control Gungnir, he is allowed to attack directly, though that is not all…" Unknown then thrusted his arm forward, "Thanks to Judgement Arrows, the attack of the attacking monster it points to has his attack points doubled!"
"WHAT?!" yelled the two of them as Flame widened his eyes.
"AHH BYTE!"
Coolant Hydradrive: 1000 - 2000 attack points
Coolant Hydradrive then flew upwards into the air as it screeched as loud as humanly possible as from its maw a beam made out of ice appeared as it then shot straight towards the two humans as they were shot back a couple of feet backwards.
Harlin and Unknown: 6500 lp

Coolant Hydradrive: 2000 - 1000 attack points
"Battle. Twin Hydradrive Knight attacks Gungnir, Dragon Of The Ice Barrier. Twin Aeolian Slash!" yelled Unknown as the monster then combined its two twin blades together to form a massive blade that had wind flowing through like a nice breeze on a sunny day and had earth flying around it as if it had its own gravitational pole. "Then Judgement Arrows activates its effect!"
Twin Hydradrive Knight: 1800 - 3600 attack points
Gungnir wouldn't let itself being destroyed that easily as it shot a massive beam of ice so cold it could freeze even the mightiest of dragons in a single strike as Twin Hydradrive Knight replied to the attack by simply slashing through the beam with ease as it then jumped forward to slice its neck clean off in a single jump.
Harlin and Unknown: 6500 lp

Twin Hydradrive Knight: 3600 - 1800 attack points
"I am not finished." said Unknown to which they widened their eyes at.
"Are you kidding me!?" yelled Soulburner in shock.
"I am not. I activate my Trap, Hydradrive Nightmare!" said Unknown as it covered Coolant Hydradrive, "If a Hydradrive Link monster destroys a monster by battle, I am allowed to target 1 Hydradrive Link monster in my graveyard for the price of tributing one monster on my side of the field. However, the monster has his effect negated and it is destroyed during the End Phase." Coolant Hydradrive is then sent to the graveyard.
"Appear, Grand Hydradrive." as then, Grand Hydradrive reappears on the field next to Twin Hydradrive Knight.

"Battle. Grand Hydradrive attacks you directly." said Unknown as then Grand Hydradrive begins to shine, "Judgement Arrows activates its effect." said Unknown as then Grand Hydradrive roared in power.
Grand Hydradrive: 1000 - 2000 attack points
Grand Hydradrive, instead of using any of its power like the monsters previously used by him, decided to charge forward and attack like a wild animal as then, Soulburner took a card from his hand.
"Not so fast! Since you decided to attack directly, I am allowed to special summon this guy! Salamangreat Parro!" he yelled as he took a card from his hand as then on his side of the field appeared a massive parrot as the feathers were on fire for the main part of the body, it had red feathers on the wings at the top, gray coloured feathers on the middle and at the bottom blue wings, and with the tails, they were red, blue and yellow. It was in attack mode due to its effect.

"Crap… Now he is unable to get through him by simply attacking and knowing him… he won't attack over that monster just yet…" said Harlin as he saw his brother stop for a moment.
"Not bad… I end my turn, which means that Grand Hydradrive is destroyed," said Unknown as then his Link-1 Monster bursted into data, "Unfortunately, since it was summoned by the effects of Hydradrive Nightmare, it is unable to activate the effect of summoning a Token once destroyed, so your move." said Unknown as he was done for the time being.
Turn 4. Soulburner - 4900 lp - 3 cards
At one of the many floating platforms, two figures were standing on the top of the ledges that to which they were dangerously close to falling off as their duel disks shined a unique glow to them as it was similar to that of Flame. One of them was a boy and the other was girl, "Hey, those two fellas down there seem familiar."
"Do you think you know them, Ai?" asked the male one to which a dark eye appeared on the duel disk.
"Those two? Nah, especially that Ignis down there. If I was down there, I would have been kicking that emerald being's butt 3 turns ago." said the dark eye which was named Ai.
"Though, he does look familiar to one of our friends," said a blue eye that was on top of the girl's duel disk.
"Maybe, we should see how they will end this." said the boy with narrowed eyes.
Soulburner frowned as he knew that the conditions currently on the field was getting worse and worse with every passing second and he knew that he has to find a way to get through this field in order to survive the next barrage of turns that they will inflict on them. "I draw!" yelled Soulburner as he looked at the newly drawn card with narrowed eyes.
"This will do for later." said Soulburner as he placed the newly drawn card into his hand, "I now activate the effect of my Salamangreat Parro! I can tribute it," Parro screeched in power as it bursted into flames as both he and Frostgirl were then glowing red for a moment, "So that we can gain 2000 life points!" yelled Soulburner as the situation with life points was now almost the same.
Harlin and Unknown: 6500 lp
Frostgirl and Soulburner: 4900 - 6900 lp
"Hey… wanna see my new toys I get to use?" Frostgirl turned to Soulburner with a confused look on her face. "Flame has been practically bouncing when making these new cards." said Soulburner as Flame nodded to that.
"Can confirm on that. You will love the new cards I have made." said Flame with a grin on his face.
Frostgirl looked at these two as then she smiled, "Sure, go ahead. I can't wait to see what happens next."
"Great! Let's do what the lady says! Come out, the new monster! Salamangreat of Fire!" yelled Soulburner as then on his side of the field showed up a massive orb that was orange with red lining going around the orb, as there was brown armour around the new monster with a purple gem on top of it as it had small arms that had fire going through its arms with fire spikes coming out of it.
(Salamangreat Of Fire: Level 2 - Fire Cyberse - Attack: 800. Defense: 800.)
A card popped out of Soulburner's deck to which he took it, "Salamangreat of Fire's effect activates! When he is normal summoned, I am allowed to add 1 Level 4 or lower Salamangreat Monster from my deck! I will pick my Salamangreat Spinny!" yelled Soulburner as then he took it.
"That is an interesting monster, you got there." admitted Frostgirl as Soulburner smirked.
"You saw nothing just yet!" said Soulburner as Flame jumped up.
"That's right! As the new monster's effect activates from our hand! We are only allowed to Special Summon this monster by discarding a different named Salamangreat Monster from our hand in order to summon this." explained Flame as Soulburner discarded Spinny, "Now, come out! The new Tuner Monster! Salamangreat Tiger!"
On their side of the field appeared a tiger. A cybernetic tiger with digital blue eyes as the monster's skin was made out of metal with the sides of it being purple spike on both sets of legs as the tail went around the monster as everything was on fire.
(Salamangreat Tiger: Level 5 - Tuner - Fire Cyberse - Attack: 2000. Defense: 500.)
Harlin widened his eyes, "A new Tuner monster?!" he yelled in shock.
"You got that right! However, that is only the start! Since I control a Salamangreat monster on my field, I am allowed to special summon Salamangreat Spinny from my graveyard!" yelled Soulburner as he then took a card that was popped out of his graveyard as then on his field appeared a large hedgehog with black skin as it wore jewelry as it was covered by its tail that had black and orange spikes that were on fire, as it had golden accents around the monster with closed emerald eyes.
(Salamangreat Spinny: Level 3 - Fire Cyberse - Attack: 1000. Defense: 1500.)
Harlin then put 2 to 2 together quickly, "Ahh I see, with your new deck and combinations, you decided not to Link Summon right now and to Synchro Summon right this moment to get a card from your deck." said Harlin as he narrowed his eyes, "That gives me an idea… I need to tell him first, though."
"How did you guess? Though, I need to do this! Salamangreat Tiger has the effect of lowering or increasing the level of a certain monster by one, so I target my Salamangreat Spinny," Soulburner pointed at his Spinny, "So that it loses a level!"
Salamangreat Spinny: 3 - 2 Levels
"And here is something that I learned during my duel with Varis!" yelled Soulburner as then the entire world greyed out with the exception for his eyes. "I tune my Level 2 Salamangreat Of Fire and Level 2 Salamangreat Spinny with my Level 5 Salamangreat Tiger in order to Synchro Summon!" He was then struck with a red thunderbolt.
Salamangreat Of Fire then turned into 2 red rings alongside of Salamangreat Spinny as it turned into 2 red rings at the same time while Salamangreat Tiger then flew upwards as it then transformed into 5 green rings that were on fire as they combined into each other so that they create 9 blue rings on top of each other.
2 + 2 + 5 = 9!
Soulburner then began to chant, "Arise the mystical creature of the night, fly into the night for the battle of your frozen comrades! I Synchro Summon! Level 9, Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn!" Soulburner roared as then from the rings appeared a monster, as it was now on the middle of the Speed Duel Field.
Unlike its brethren, it was not on fire. Rather it had a cold aesthetic to it, but there were some elements of its comrades. It was a beautiful white coloured unicorn as it had dark ice fur around its hooves, which were light blue, as the sapphire coloured horn of the monster was sharp as a sword with emerald gem stones on the horn, with emerald coloured eyes. Though it was on fire, it still had light blue flames around its head and tail.

Unknown looked with an expression that showed indifference, or at least that is how they are able to see it while Harlin looked at it with a shocked expression as he knew that was a troubling monster to battle against while Frostgirl?
Frostgirl looked at it with awe in her eyes until she then noticed something, "Freezing… The way that it looks like and the levels… Teddy, did you have that monster to resemble my strongest monster?"
Soulburner awkwardly chuckled hearing that, "Oh… I haven't really thought about that. Well not exactly since I did get it from the same Speed Duel against Varis, so it could be one from my Will."
"It is plausible for that to happen, though I wouldn't dwell on it for too long. Also, I would suggest not saying his nickname in Link VRAINS," said Flame as Frostgirl blinked and then she smacked her mouth.
"Oh shoot!" said Frostgirl as Harlin looked at them in disbelief, as if they forgot that his brother kidnapped their friend's soul.
"Well anyway, Celestial Bell Tower's effect activates! Since I Synchro Summoned a monster, I am able to draw a card from my deck!" yelled Soulburner as he then drew the top card of hsi deck and looked at it. He then activated it once he saw it in his hand, "Which I will now activate! Foolish Burial allows me to send 1 Monster from my deck to my graveyard and the monster that I choose is my Salamangreat Humming Bird!"
A card popped out of his duel disk as he took it and then sent it to the graveyard. Soulburner then took a card from his hand, "Now I will activate the spell card known as Oil! This card allows me to add 1 Fire monster from my graveyard to my hand! The monster I choose is my Salamangreat Hummingbird!" yelled Soulburner as he took the card that popped out of his duel disk.
"You discarded the monster that you wanted to add to your hand so that you could specifically lower your deck to get a better chance of drawing the card you need." said Harlin with narrowed eyes.
"You could say that."
"It would have been better if you added Bonfire to your deck." said Flame as he narrowed his eyes at his partner.
"Hey, don't blame me for not getting the card that I needed when I opened those booster packs! That card is crazy hard to get and have you seen the prices on the internet!? I could sell my leg just to get 1 copy of that thing!" yelled Soulburner to which Flame sighed at.
"Well, whatever the case, this shall do! We activate the Spell card known as Level Tuning!" a Spell card appeared on Soulburner's field, "This card decreases all of the monsters' Levels by one!" yelled Soulburner as then Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn looked upwards as his level decreased.
Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn: Level 9 - 8
"Then the effect of Salamangreat Hummingbird activates! If by any chance we control a monster that was special summoned from the Extra Deck, we are allowed to special summon this card from our hand! Appear, Salamangreat Hummingbird!" yelled Flame as Soulburner then placed the monster onto his duel disk as then on his field appeared a small monster that Frostgirl 'aww'ed at once summoned.
It was a small bird, as the feathers were red, but at the end were golden as the beak was emerald coloured with blue eyes, as around the top of it, were orange coloured feathers as the legs were at the start blue, but slowly becoming black. It then flew from Freezing Unicorn and then landed on Soulburner's shoulder as it leaned its head on his head for warmth. Frostgirl might or might not have wished bad things to happen out of jealousy.
(Salamangreat Hummingbird: Level 1 - Tuner - Fire Cyberse - Attack: 300. Defense: 400.)
"Cute birdy." said Soulburner as he snuggled the small bird that was on his shoulders with his finger as he then looked upwards at his enemies.
Then everything got quiet as the entire world greyed, "Time to get serious," Soulburner was then struck with a red thunderbolt as he then began, "I tune my Level 8 Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn with my Level 1 Salamangreat Hummingbird in order to Synchro Summon!"
The two monsters flew into the air as then Freezing Unicorn turned into a cold ice set of 8 rings that flew upwards into the air as Hummingbird then turned into 1 fiery red ring that combined into each other to create 9 purple rings on top of each other.
1 + 8 = 9!
Soulburner then began to chant, "From the wings of the unicorn, comes a never ending hurricane, as the frost turns into the flames of its soul! I Reincarnation Synchro Summon! Level 9, Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn!" On his field appeared a second copy of Freezing Unicorn as the entire monster then changed completely. The skin was that of dark charcoal, the horn was now a ruby colour, the hooves were dark red skinned, the fur was light red skinned as then blue, beautiful azure coloured wings appeared alongside the unicorn.

"Reincarnation Synchro Summoning?" asked Frostgirl in shock as she wasn't expecting him to evolve the regular Synchro Summoning to this. There were different levels of Synchro Summoning as an example of it was Accel Synchro Summoning and Over The Top Accel Synchro Summoning that Yusei Fudo once did.
"Knowing the Salamangreat Deck… this is anything, but good." said Harlin as he gritted his teeth watching this.
"And you are about to find out!" yelled Soulburner as he threw his hand out as Flame continued for it. Before that, Soulburner drew a card from his hand due to the effect of Celestial Bell Tower.
"He is correct! Once Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn is Reincarnation Synchro Summoned, it is allowed to banish monsters up to the amount of monsters that were used to Synchro Summon it and it deals you 400 points of damage for every monster banished!" yelled Flame as Soulburner grinned.
"The best part? It ignores the effect of the monster that would have left it on the field!" explained Soulburner as then the horn of Freezing Unicorn began to glow in both of a mystical fiery red and cold blue combination as it would be a combination of both fire and ice, "GO! Heat Wave!" yelled Soulburner as the monster released the blizzard made out of pure fire.
"I will chain that card with my Trap Card, Property Spray!" yelled Unknown as then his set card was then revealed. A hand appeared over the Trap card with a bottle of spray, "Once per turn, I tribute 1 monster on the field and tribute it. With that, I am allowed to gain life points equal to its attack points and all of your monsters become the same attribute as the tributed monster." explained Unknown as then the hand pushed the tip which covered Twin Hydradrive Knight before it disappeared into data.
The data then went towards both Harlin and Unknown as they were spread with light particles that went around their entire body as they felt refreshed and it reached towards Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn with green and brown spray which covered the entire body.

"AWW CRAP! They just dodged the effect of Freezing Unicorn!" yelled Soulburner in shock.
"Not to mention, they gained life points at the same time, so that we would only effectively deal 1200 life points." said Frostgirl with gritted teeth.
"They are more adaptive than we thought they were." commented Flame as he wasn't expecting to be this well versed in the duel.
"Well… there is still something that we can do before it comes crashing down. I activate Aurora Draw! If this is the only card in my hand, I am allowed to draw 2 cards from my hand!" yelled Soulburner as he drew the top 2 cards from his deck and he narrowed his eyes, "They are better for the next turn. Battle! Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn attacks you both directly!"
Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn screamed in power as then its horn began to shine in two different colours. One was a verdant, breezing wind going around the horn while the tip was that of an earthly brown colour ground. Soulburner took notice of this and changed the name for it to look cool, "Aeolian Breeze!" yelled Soulburner as a combination of both wind and earth shot from the horn, almost knocking both of them out of their duel boards.

"That ends my turn!" yelled Soulburner as then Freezing Unicorn turned back into normal.
Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn: Earth/Wind - Fire Attribute
Turn 5. Harlin - 5300 lp - 3 cards
"Brother! Are you alright?" asked Harlin as he turned to his brother, to which the emerald coloured being turned to him.
"I am fine, don't worry about me. Focus on the duel." said Unknown unflinchingly as Harlin looked at him with concerned look in his eyes, but shook it off.
"Alright… I know that this won't be enough to shake you. I wanted to be sure that you were alright." said Harlin as he then looked at the top of his deck and hand. He breathed in and then he drew the top card of his deck with narrowed eyes.
"I will make this work. Since I control no monsters on the Main Monster Zone, I am allowed to Special Summon Hydradrive Booster!" yelled Harlin as then the first summoned Hydradrive Booster reappeared on the field once more.
(Hydradrive Booster: Level 1 - Earth Cyberse - Attack: 0. Defense: 0.)
"And now, I am able to generate my circuit!" yelled Harlin as then on his field appeared a Circuit, "The Summoning Condition is 1 Hydradrive monster, so I set my Hydradrive Booster in the Link Arrows!" yelled Harlin as then the lone Booster flew upwards and hit the Bottom-Middle Link Arrow.
"I Link Summon! Link-1, Burn Hydradrive!" yelled Harlin as then on his Right Extra Monster Zone appeared a long serpent like dragon. "The price isn't too much for the pay though since I am allowed to target any Hydradrive monster in the graveyard and banish it! I choose Hydradrive Booster in the graveyard!" yelled Harlin as then a copy of Booster appeared as it then turned to data, "So then I am allowed to add a card from my deck with the same name as the card that was just banished! I pick Hydradrive Booster!" yelled Harlin as a card popped out of his duel disk and took it.
"Which I will now summon for my Normal Summon!" yelled Harlin as then Booster was summoned for the second time in the turn.

"I Link Summon! Link-1, Coolant Hydradrive!" yelled Harlin as then on Burn Hydradrive's Bottom-Middle Link Arrow, appeared Coolant Hydradrive.

"Getting tired of seeing these." said Frostgirl as Soulburner and Flame aggred with that.
"Wait no longer because they are about to used as tributes! I generate the circuit for the third time!" yelled Harlin as then above him appeared another Circuit, "The Summoning Conditions are 2 Hydradrive Link Monsters, so I set Burn Hydradrive and Coolant Hydradrive in the Link Arrows!" the two monsters went towards the only 2 Middle Link Arrows.
"I Link Summon! Link-2, Twin Hydradrive Knight!" On Harlin's field and Judgement Arrow's Top-Middle Link Arrow, appeared Twin Hydradrive Knight.

"Twin Hydradrive Knight's effect activates! When he is Link Summoned, he gains the attributes of the two monsters used for its summon! Since Burn and Coolant were used, its attribute now switches to Fire and Water!" yelled Harlin as then both Twin Hydradrive Knight's swords began to glow, one aquatic blue and the other fiery red.
Twin Hydradrive Knight: Earth - Fire/Water Attributes
"This time… we have you on a lock!" yelled Harlin with a smirk on his face to which they looked at him confused. "To explain this, my brother over there summoned Twin Knight to size both of you up, to see what you two are made off, isn't that right, brother?" Unknown nodded.
"That is correct." said the emerald being.
"Now, here is what Hydradrive Monsters shine at. They manipulate the Attributes of the four core attributes of the elements, Fire, Water, Earth and Wind, so that they could adapt to their playstyle and strike them down as quickly as possible. Think of Elemental Heroes, but with control. What I am trying to say," Harlin's grin turned dark, "Once our Link Monsters share the same attribute, you can no longer activate their effects!" yelled Harlin as that shook them to their core.
"WHAT?!" they both screamed in terror.
Both Salamangreat and Ice Barriers, and even Nephthys to a certain extent, are all decks that control one attribute to the point of their decks containing cards specifically tailored to that Attribute. Cards like Salvage and Oil are perfect cards for them as they could be played in any deck that goes with that Attribute.
Hydradrives are a perfect counter to decks of specifically 1 attribute and it seems that even if a certain deck has a combination of either Fire, Wind, Water or Earth, it could have still negated the effects, effectively shutting down every deck that control 2 thirds of the entire game's attribute. Even if they have a perfect combination of those 4 Attributes, it still could have been countered easily.
The only way that they could handle this deck was a deck that control the other 2 Attributes that they, so far, know about. Dark and Light.
"BATTLE!" Roared Harlin as then Twin Hydradrive Knight glew his eyes red with two of his blades smacking each other for extra effect, "Twin Hydradrive Knight destroy Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn! Twin Vapor Slash!" one of his blades turned into a torrent of cold, never ending water as it flowed throughout the entire arena while his other blade turned into an inferno that would burn throughout the entire day, as its fire was never ending.
"That is just the start! Judgement Arrow's effect activates! When a monster it points to battles, its attack points double! Though, I am chaining that with this Quick Play Spell card! Shrink!" On Harlin's field appeared a Quick Play Spell card that proved to be a simple, yet powerful counter, "One monster now loses half of its attack points, power and size!"
Twin Hydradrive Knight's passion burned hotter than his blade while Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn shrunk in size.
Twin Hydradrive Knight: 1800 - 3600 attack points

Twin Hydradrive Knight then dashed towards the unicorn, ready to strike it down with the power of a proud warrior, as he combined his swords together to create a combination of hot steam as two opposites hit together, a singularity in one blade. The Unicorn tried to fight back as from its horn was then shot out a blizzard with the fire power of a heat wave, though that mattered not as Twin Hydradrive Knight pushed through and sliced off its neck as if it was air. Twin Hydradrive Knight then unsheathed his blade as an explosion happened behind him.
The monster returned to his owners.

"That ends my turn!" yelled Harlin as the boost for Twin Hydradrive Knight ended, "What will you do now, you three?" asked Harlin with a grin on his face.

Frostgirl took a deep breath, "What am I going to do? What are we going to do? Well… we will push through! For Seigen! I draw!" yelled Frostgirl as she drew the top card of her deck as she looked at it with a smile on her face.
"Thank you. First of all, I will banish from my graveyard my Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl as she took the card that popped out of her duel disk. "Before you ask, your shiny emerald brother destroyed it with Hydradrive Deletion, and now, I am allowed to send 1 level 5 or higher Water monster from my deck to my graveyard," a card popped out of Frostgirl's duel disk to which she took it.
"I pick my General Raiho of The Ice Barrier!" She said as she sent the card to the graveyard as then a card popped out of the graveyard, "As then I am allowed to add 1 Water monster from my graveyard to my hand and I pick Revealer!" said Frostgirl as she placed the card into her hand, "Now! I activate my Skill! Ice Tune!"
The lines around Frostgirl's entire avatar began to shine bright as she took a card from her hand, to which Flame went through and helped her explained the card, "Allow me! She is allowed to send 1 Spell or Trap card from her hand to the graveyard so that she is allowed to special summon 1 Ice Barrier Tuner monster from her deck!" Flame explained as Frostgirl smiled.
"Thanks, Flame! I discard my Card Of Compensation," she said as she discarded a card from her hand as she then took a card form her deck, "So that I am allowed to special summon Hexa Spirit of The Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl as she then slammed the card onto her digital duel disk.
As then on her side of the field appeared a small lizard which anyone with a soul would think was the most adorable little thing they have ever seen in their entire life, as the bottom part of the body was beige while the top part had scales and was blue, with green eyes and yellow and black armour.

"Ha! That lizard won't do nothing against us." said Harlin with a grin as he slowly narrowed his eyes seeing the field.
"I wouldn't be so confident if I were you." Soulburner said with a smirk, "Knowing her, she is about to bust out one of her strongest, if not, the strongest thing in her arsenal."
"Let's see if you are going to be right! First, when Card Of Compensation is sent to the graveyard, I am allowed to draw 2 cards from my deck!" yelled Frostgirl as she looked at the two newly drawn cards as she then smirked at, "And I am going to use one of them! Go, Pot Of Avarice!"
A massive pot appeared on the field, "Soulburner, if you may."
"Go ahead, use most of my monsters except for Tiger. I have a good strategy with him." said Soulburner to which Flame nodded.
"Alright, I will agree to that. WIth this, I am allowed to shuffle 5 monsters from my graveyard in order to draw 2 new cards from my deck! I shuffle Salamangreat Freezing Unicorn, Salamangreat Hummingbird, Salamangreat of Fire, Gungnir, Dragon Of The Ice Barrier and a second copy of Freezing Unicorn!" 5 cards appeared above the pot as they went into the pot. The pot then began to shake as it then turned to Frostgirl and shot out 2 cards from its mouth.
"Eww." said Harlin.
"I agree." agreed Soulburner as Flame shuddered seeing that.
Frostgirl ignored them as she looked at her hand with a smile on her face, "This is perfect! I summon Revealer of The Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl as then for the second time in the duel, Revealer was summoned right next to Hexa Spirit.

"Now, I reveal my Speaker For The Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl as she then took a card from her hand with a smirk on her face.
"Don't forget that while Twin Hydradrive Knight is on the field, you can not activate effects of the attribute he shares with that are on the field!" yelled Harlin as Frostgirl smirked.
"Good thing that I am not activating an effect from the field, but rather from the hand! When I control an Ice Barrier monster, I am allowed to special summon Speaker For The Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl as then she took a card from her hand and slammed it onto the field and from it, a monster was summoned.
It was a young little girl wearing a white dress with a dark blue jacket with long sleeves and yellow lining, as she had long blue hair and dark blue eyes as with her was a Shiba Inu with an Ice Barrier token on the head. Filling her entire Main Monster Zones.

"Judging from those Levels and that you have a Tuner monster on your side of the field…" Harlin then took a step backwards as he realized what was about to happen.
"Glad that you picked up on that and I am far from done! Before I do anything, I will play this Spell card! Detour!" yelled Frostgirl as then a card appeared on the field, "With this, I can target one monster that you control and negate its effect! Not to mention, you lose 500 life points from it!" A beam was then shot straight from the Spell card as it flew right towards Twin Hydradrive Knight and struck it right into its chest and then the aftermath went towards Unknown as Harlin noticed one thing about it.
The emerald glow around his Achilles Heel broke, revealing human skin.
"Shit! It is way too soon for that!" Harlin thought as he was specifically told that they should hold off on his brother's skin as it would have a detriment to his evolution. And it might result in slight amnesia.

All three of the monsters that are on Frostgirl's field are now free from Twin Hydradrive Knight's effect as he lost his own effect. Hexa Spirit bounced up and down, Speaker patted her Shiba Inu and Revealer took deep breaths as did Frostgirl.
"It is now… or never…" Frostgirl now looked at everyone as the entire world greyed out as she was then struck with blue lightning, to which they realize what is happening. "I tune my Level 4 Revealer Of The Ice Barrier and Level 4 Speaker For The Ice Barrier with my Level 1 Hexa Spirit of The Ice Barrier!" They all then flew upwards.
Hexa Spirit turned into a long purple ring while Revealer and Speaker turned into 4 blue rings respectively as they then combined each other ot create 9 green rings.
1 + 4 + 4 = 9!
Frostgirl then began to chant, "One with the wind, one with the snow, a heart that is frozen in absolute zero! Now, become the snow that drives the harshest blizzard! I Synchro Summon! Arrive, Level 9, Trishula, Dragon Of The Ice Barrier!" She roared out as then blizzard was struck down on everyone in the duel, right when she Synchro Summoned, almost knocking everyone out as they felt as though it was cold as absolute zero to which Soulburner had to cover himself in fire with Flame helping him with that, Harlin covered himself with his own hands and only Unknown was left unphased.
It was a Hydra of every word, the monster having three heads at once as they all worked around each other. The wings were frozen and covered in ice, the head being that of a dragon with a yellow gem on the forehead, with the claws being sharper than a blade, feet that were colder than the Arctic, as there were parts of the skin that were the colour of a cold sea. The monster roared in might, as Flame and Soulburner stood up proudly at what they saw.

Frostgirl looked at the monster that helped her in her time of need, the dragon that was able to crack through all of the ice that buried her hope and breaking the ice so that she could rise to the occasion. To deliver her victory against Specter and helping in the fight against the Leader of the Knights Of Hanoi, Varis, as it reigned as one of the strongest Synchro Monsters in the entire game.
"Aww yeah! Her strongest monster is on the field!" yelled Soulburner as Flame smiled at seeing this.
"And let's not forget that she has her General Wayne in her hand. If all goes well, we are going to win this duel!" yelled Flame which caused Harlin to widen his eyes as it was the truth of the current situation.
"Oh no!" yelled Harlin in fear as he knew the power of that one monster. It was the card that solidified Ice Barriers as a deck to be impressed by as it was the nuke of the deck.
"Oh yes! When Trishula, Dragon Of The Ice Barrier is Synchro Summoned, I am allowed to do 2 things! One of which is to draw a card thanks to Celestial Bell Tower," Frostgirl drew the top card from her deck as she saw it as a card that won't help her in the current turn, but maybe in the next turn "and then I am allowed to banish 1 card from your hand, field and graveyard! Absolute Zero!"
Frostgirl commanded her dragon as the right head of the massive Hydra Dragon roared as it shot a beam straight towards Unknown's hand, to which the emerald being wasn't shook by it in the slightest, "The card that you banished was my Hydradrive Accelerator."
"I don't know if that is good or not, but that doesn't matter! I will then banish a copy of Hydradrive Booster from the graveyard!" yelled Frostgirl as then the left head of the Hydra Dragon roared as it then shot a beam straight towards Harlin's graveyard as a copy of Hydradrive Booster was then banished, making the boy grit his teeth.
"Now, I will do something interesting! I will banish that Link Spell of yours, Judgement Arrows!" yelled Frostgirl as Harlin gasped hearing that as well as making everyone at SOL Tech's Roundtable narrowing their eyes at.
"Let's see the downsides of this card." said Knight as he crossed his arms, "Not one card can be as powerful as it without having a downside to it."
"Absolute Zero!" Frostgirl roared as did her dragon, pushing back everyone a few feet away with their duel boards as the monster gathered energy as soon as it opened up its maw as it began looking like a snowball as then it grew at a size of a boulder, towering its own size to significant degree as then it was shot straight ahead, creating a hurricane and a blizzard all at the same time, causing the Link Spell to be frostbitten until it was encased with ice as it then broke seconds later.
Harlin looked at this feat with horror in his eyes, "It was destroyed… no, it was banished!" Harlin took several steps backwards.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO! NO!" yelled Harlin as his fear was evident as his entire resolve shattered like glass.
"Why are you panicking if you don't mind me asking?" asked Soulburner as even though he was the brother of the emerald being that stole his friend's soul and conscience data, he was still worried for Harlin as he was panicking.
Harlin gulped, "Because whenever Judgement Arrows leaves the field… all monsters that I control are now destroyed." said Harlin as Soulburner and Frostgirl were excited to hear that, but then looked on to see the sheer panic in Harlin's face.
Meanwhile, at SOL Tech, the higher ups frowned hearing that as Rook was the one that voiced his opinions on that, "Seriously?! It has that big of a downside?! We can't have that card! It would shoot us at our feet rather than help us in a duel! Useless!"
"A bit of an overexxageration aside, you have a point." said Bishop as he leaned on a chair as he yawned, "Even though the card is a one of a kind, the negatives do pile up the more you think about since our decks rely on Link Summoning and having control over our opponent, so if that card was destroyed during one of our duels, it would have dealt more damage to our deck than our opponent would."
"Both of you made good arguments, though, we shouldn't let the card go away like that to waste. If we simply get the data that made the card, we could modify it for our decks, doesn't that sound more interesting, my friends?" asked King as he looked over to everyone else as they nodded to that.
"I concur, something like that, with a few upgrades, would bring our company into new heights." said Queen.
"If it is possible, I would love to see the creator of such spell and learn how they were able to do an impressive feat that us couldn't do." said Knight.
"Excellent, couldn't have said it better than you two." King turned to Rook, "Rook."
"Yeah?"
"If we ever get the data of Judgement Arrows, I would like you to create new cards like that so that our decks would have an upgrade to shock even the strongest of duelists." said King as Rook nodded.
"I will do my best and I will give everyone the cards that they need for their decks! Even for the narcoleptic over there." said Rook as he pointed at Bishop, who was trying his best not to fall asleep.
"I am flattered." Bishop sarcastically commented.
Harlin then grit his teeth, "NO! I am not letting my monster to be easily destroyed like that! I discard my Hydradrive Patch!" yelled Harlin as he discarded a card from his hand. The monster was that of a brown reptilian-like creature as the entire body was shorter compared to the rest of the Hydradrives. It had sharp claws that reached towards its back, as the tail was in the shape of a sword. It had blue fur around its stomach and head, however at the top of its head was the Hydradrive Emblem.

"If a Hydradrive monster would be destroyed by a card effect, I can discard Hydradrive Patch from my hand to negate that effect!" Harlin yelled as Hydradrive Patch appeared out of nowhere to wrap itself around Twin Hydradrive Knight from being destroyed from an upcoming from explosion due to Judgement Arrows. Then the eyes from Patch began to glow.
"I now activate the second effect of Patch! When it negates that effect, I am allowed to deal you 800 points of damage!" yelled Harlin as then Patch detached itself from Twin Knight to jump towards his enemies.
"Nice try, but that won't work! I activate Curse Reflection Doll!" a small purple coloured cursed doll appeared on the field for Frostgirl, "When I would take effect damage, you would take it instead!" yelled Frostgirl as the doll opened up to reveal demonic teeth as it then ate Patch. Then it turned towards Harlin and his brother and shot it straight towards them.
To Harlin's horror, small pieces of his thighs were revealed to show human skin.

"Since I control an Ice Barrier monster and you control a Special Summoned monster, I am allowed to special summon my General Wayne of the Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl as then her ace from the Main Deck appeared onto the field.
On her field appeared her ace monster from her main deck. It was a monster with a great build with a tan skin, holding a samurai sword that was made out of blue eyes ice, as he wore a helmet with a red point at the top, blue cape, a dark blue and a regular blue coloured ice that acted as armour.

"When he is summoned in any way, I am allowed to add 1 Ice Barrier Spell or Trap card from my deck to my hand!" yelled Frostgirl as she then took a card from her deck as she then revealed it, "I add my Medallion of the Ice Barrier!" yelled Frostgirl as she then placed the card into her hand if by some miracle this turn isn't enough.
Frostgirl then took the other card in her hand, "I will now set a card face down." a card was set vertically behind Wayne and Trishula.
"I may not beat you in this turn, but this will be enough to place you out of commission! Battle! General Wayne attacks your Twin Hydradrive Knight! Cold Finish!" yelled Frostgirl as her monster then flew towards Twin Hydradrive Knight and the monster was too slow to use his two twin blades and was then cut right at the middle.
The result was a small explosion that made Harlin to cover his eyes with his forearm and for his brother's skin to break at the back of his head, to which only his brother saw with terror in his eyes.

"And now! Trishula, Dragon Of The Ice Barrier! Attack them directly! Absolute Zero!" roared Frostgirl as the three heads rotated around each other, all of them moved mechanically and as lively as they were locking onto their pray as their eyes pierced through the upcoming storms as every single head began to glow as they began to charge a beam made out of pure ice.
The right head's energy was that of a laser, able to pierce through any shield that it desires, the left head's energy was that of an upcoming storm that will be able to blow away even the heaviest of objects and the middle was forming a laser that was able to disintegrate everything as then they all were then shot from their mouths, coming right away towards their prey as it covered both of the duelists in an instant.

"With that, I end my turn!" yelled Frostgirl as then they noticed something as soon as the blizzard ended. Something that was wrong.
Harlin was able to scrap through it just fine.
His brother?
Harlin's eyes shot out of pure horror as he knew that no matter what, his evolution was stopped for a moment.
As his brother's emerald glow was then torn to shreds, revealing him…
"BOHMAN!" yelled Harlin in fear, horror and shock to reveal his brother's true name.
Bohman.
Bohman was something that no one would have expected or could have predicated as even with how he looks was shocking to them.
Bohman was a man with tan skin with long brown hair that went down to his shoulders at the bottom, while at the top it was yellow with an orange fridge. He had a green gem on his forehead as his eyes were that of Harlin's. His cheekbones were pink while his chin was red with a green gem on it. He had a pair of long orange star earrings. Around his neck was a purple coloured tattoo that was the same around the sides of his body that ended at his biceps. Around the end of the purple coloured skin was golden lining. He wore skin tight pants that had purple colouring around his sides as the rest of it was light purple coloured. His knees were purple and so were his shins as around his ankles were stars with purple shoes.
Bohman then screamed in agony, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Bohman grabbed onto his head as he continued to scream in agony.
"OH NO! This wasn't what was supposed to happen!" yelled Harlin as they turned to the man that was screaming in agony.
"Wh- What happened?!" asked Flame in shock as Harlin turned to them with a look that showed anger and worry.
"Your attack is what happened! If you idiots didn't attack him this wouldn't have happened!" yelled Harlin as he tried to approach his brother, however, his screaming then stopped him.
"WHO AM I? WHAT IS HAPPENING!? WHERE AM I!? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Bohman roared to the heavens to the point that it shook everyone to their core as the sheer intensity of his screaming.
"Bohman! Calm down! Everything will be fine!" yelled Harlin as Bohman stopped temporarily only for him to grab his head in pain.
"Fine? Everything will be fine?! They attacked me!" Bohman then turned towards the three that have no idea what is going on, "You three! Why did you attack me?! What did I do to deserve to be attacked?!" yelled Bohman as they were confused.
It took a while for the three of them to find their footing as this was a situation that they have never been in, or anyone for that matter to be in, as they didn't know what to say first, however… Soulburner spoke first.
"The reason why we attacked you was because you were the one that started this whole mess." began Soulburner as he looked at him with narrowed eyes, "You stole our friend's soul and consciousness data in the first place, so I would chalk it up to karma at its finest."
"That's right." Frostgirl agreed with her boyfriend, "If you didn't steal our friend's soul, then this wouldn't have happened."
"You are speaking nonsense. Why would I ever do such a thing?" asked Bohman as he gritted his teeth. "That is something I wouldn't have done."
"And yet you did!"
"I did not! I don't even remember the face of your friend! Why would I then try to attack him?!" yelled Bohman in defiance as he grabbed onto his head from the pain.
"What is up with him?" asked Soulburner as Flame then turned to his partner.
"Soulburner… I think this might be a case of Amnesia." said Flame as Soulburner blinked hearing that.
"Wait, what?" asked Soulburner in confusion.
"Amnesia is commonly described as memory loss, commonly caused by head and brain injuries, so there are 2 options. Either we have hit him with enough force for him to forget who he was or the emerald skin that was around his entire body diestingrating was the cause of that. Regardless, it is safe to assume that we may have caused this." said Flame with a worrying tone.
Harlin, ignoring the ones that hurt his brother, flew towards him, "Bohman! I know your mind and brain is in shambles, but please, you have to keep it together if you do, everything will be fine." said Harlin as Bohman turned to him.
"Who are you?" asked Bohman with a worrying tone as Harlin narrowed his eyes.
"Harlin, you know, your little bro? Look, you don't have to remember everything and that is fine, just remember about this duel and if you do win… then everything that you want to remmber, you will get it back." said Harlin as Bohman was silent for a moment until…
Until…
Until Bohman stood up, "I understand. I am sorry for the outburst, Harlin. This will be the last turn of the duel!" yelled Bohman with a commanding tone as he examined everything: The field, the life points, the graveyard, the number of cards in hand and the cards in his hand. "I see… the winning formula… is right beneath my fingertips!"
Turn 7. Bohman - 500 lp - 2 cards
"I DRAW!" yelled Bohman as he drew the top card from his deck with narrowed eyes. "Perfect." Bohman stated as he then automatically activated the card he just drew, "I activate my Spell card Magic Planter! By targeting 1 Continuous Spell or Trap card on my field, I am allowed to send it to the graveyard in order to draw 2 cards from my deck."
A massive pit of acid appeared beneath Property Spray as then the Continuous Trap card fell down towards it, perishing as it turned into data to which Bohman drew the top 2 cards from his deck with narrowed eyes. "I see… The newly drawn cards that I have gotten will help me at my time of need. However, I need to do something…"
Soulburner gulped as no matter what was about to happen, they knew that they weren't going to like it. "And that is…?"
Bohman then closed his eyes and then reopened them to reveal his eyes glowing red, "To activate my Skill! Storm Access!"
"WHAT?!" Flame screamed in terror from shock at the mere mention of it as Soulburner and Frostgirl dropped their jaws hearing that.
"Storm Access?!" yelled Frostgirl in complete shock as they weren't expecting that!
"How do you have that?!" yelled Soulburner as even though he has an upgraded version of it, Storm Access is without a doubt one of the strongest Skills to ever be implemented in Link VRAINS as it basically makes someone get a card from the Data Storms so that they could possibly win a duel using the newly added monster.
"What Soulburner said! How do you have a Skill of that caliber?!" Flame pointed towards Bohman, to which the man didn't give a reaction to, "Only those that are Ignis, ones that are with an Ignis or those who have copied data from an Ignis is able to use Storm Access! From your data alone, it is impossible to get that card since it does not line up with what you have! So explain yourself!"
Bohman narrowed his eyes while Harlin grinned, knowing full well why that is possible. "I have no idea, however, what I do know is that I will be using this to end this duel!" yelled Bohman as then from his palm, small bits of data began to flood from Bohman's hands. Then, it began to evolve into something stronger, as a gale appeared from his hands, but not strong enough to push anyone back.
That was the start of a storm that would soon end everyone's hopes and shatter them like they were made out of glass, as the data made Soulburner nauseous as Frostgirl could barely keep it together as Harlin looked at the growing storm at his brother's hands, easily making Varis' Tornados fly away into the upcoming hurricane.
As then, what felt like a bomb dropped and knocking everyone in the server's feet, nearly crashing the server the same day it got upgraded, was a hurricane that would have destroyed every server in SOL Tech's data, a hurricane so mighty Flame had to go out of his way to stretch his arms so that he and his friends could stay without flying off.
Thunder appeared, purple lightning began to crack upon the horizon, almost making people log off from the net entirely as the hurricane broke down towards Bohman, as if it were God trying to smite Bohman down for what he is about to bring out, though that remained futile.
While everyone else were at a war against Mother Nature itself, Bohman was at the epicenter of it, unbothered by the current events.
"When I have 1000 or less life points," Bohman began as he then thrusted his hands into the Data Storm, nearly ripping his arm apart as he was unbothered by it, "I am allowed to add 1 random Cyberse monster that best suits my deck from the Data Storm and add it to my Extra Deck! GO! STORM ACCESS!" Bohman roared as he then ripped through a card that appeared in his hands while a humanoid monster flew towards him, waiting to join his side.
While the storm subdued for a moment, giving everyone a moment to breathe after that massive event going away, some even believing that they were going to die, Bohman looked at his newly added monster with narrowed eyes. "Cubic Hydradrive Lord? What an interesting ability you have. I will use it to my fullest potential!"
Bohman turned to his opponents, ready to go full force.
Soulburner, who placed his hands on his knees and was breathing like he ran a marathon, looked at him with shocked eyes, "Are you kidding me?! He wants to go on after that?!" yelled Soulburner.
"Oh no," Frostgirl groaned.
"I will begin my playing my Quick-Play Spell card, Hydradrive Scabbard!" yelled Bohman as the Spell card appeared onto the field, "With this, I am allowed to special summon 1 Hydradrive Token in defense mode for free!" yelled Bohman as on his field appeared a Hydradrive Token.

"Then, I will use it to generate my circuit!" yelled Bohman as he then thrusted his arm forward as a circuit appeared, "The Summoning Conditions is 1 Hydradrive monster, so I set my Hydradrive Token in the Link Arrow!" yelled Bohman as his lone Hydradrive Token flew upwards to hit the Bottom-Middle Link Arrow.
"I Link Summon! Link-1, Burn Hydradrive!" yelled Bohman as on his Right Extra Monster Zone appeared Burn Hydradrive for the second time.

"He won't be sticking for long as I activate my Spell card, Hydradrive Rebuild!" yelled Bohman as the Normal Spell card appeared onto the field, "With this, I am allowed to target 1 Hydradrive Monster and destroy it!" Burn Hydradrive was then destroyed into data as Bohman then smirked. "Two things will now happen and it will be because of Hydradrive Rebuild."
Bohman then raised his hand upwards as he raised his index finger upwards, "1. Since Burn Hydradrive was destroyed by the effect of Rebuild, I am allowed to special summon a Hydradrive Token!" yelled Bohman as another Token appeared onto the field.

Bohman then raised his middle finger, "2. Since an effect was activated from the graveyard this turn, while I played Rebuild, I am allowed to special summon any Hydradrive monster from my Graveyard! Appear in this war, Twin Hydradrive Knight!" yelled Bohman as then on his field appeared Twin Hydradrive on below of the Left Extra Monster Zone.

"THEN! I generate my circuit for the second time!" yelled Bohman as then another circuit appeared over him as he then threw his hand upwards, "The Summoning Conditions is 1 Hydradrive monster, so I set my Hydradrive Token in the Link Arrows!" yelled Bohman as the Token flew upwards towards the Bottom-Middle Link Arrow.
"I Link Summon! Link-1, Grand Hydradrive!" yelled Bohman as then on Twin Hydradrive Knight's Middle-Right Link Arrow, appeared Grand Hydradrive.

"Well this ain't good." said Soulburner as he noticed that both of these monsters are good for the new monster that Bohman added in his Extra Deck this turn.
"You could say that again, Soulburner." said Flame with narrowed eyes, not enjoying what is going to happen in a couple of minutes later.
"Now, I will activate this Spell card, the last in my hand! One-Kuri Way!" yelled Bohman as Flame recognized one of the monsters in the Artwork to be that of one of The Dark Ignis' best friends, "I am allowed to take 1 Link-1 Monster from any of our graveyards and then gives me 1 of two options. I am choosing to special summon them! Appear, Grand Hydradrive!" yelled Bohman as for the last time in the duel appeared Grand Hydradrive.

"Three monsters…" Soulburner looked on in shock, almost knowing what was about to happen next.
"You see this… this will be the start of my victory! I banish from my graveyard, Hydradrive Patch!" yelled Bohman as he took the card from his graveyard and then took a card from his banishment zone, "I am now allowed to either set a Property Spell or Trap card or play Judgement Arrows from my deck, graveyard or banishment zone!" everyone gasped hearing that as Harlin grinned.
"The Three Arrows of Judgement! The DIvine Intermission! Power that leads to a higher being as its progress is out of this world!" A massive bolt of lightning struck down on everyone as Bohman was the only one that wasn't affected by this as they were pushed back from the explosion as then to their horror, under the Grand Hydradrive's Bottom-Middle Link Arrow, appeared the very card that was proving to be an issue.
"Judgement Arrows!"

"Oh no! WIth that, he is able to Link Summon on the Main Monster Zones!" yelled Soulburner.
"Not to mention, his monsters will get a massive boost in strength when it battles!" yelled Flame, narrowing his eyes.
"I set a card face down," a card was set vertically behind the 3 Hydradrive Monsters, "I then generate my circuit!" yelled Bohman as he threw his hand forward, creating a massive circuit, "The Summoning Conditions are 3 Hydradrive Link Monsters with the same Attribute, so I set my 2 Grand Hydradrives and my Twin Hydradrive Knight in the Link Arrows!" yelled Bohman as the three monsters flew upwards and hit 3 Link Arrows with ease.
"Appear! The one lord that looks on all elements! Discard their power as your strength rains down destruction on them! I Link Summon! Link-3, Cubic Hydradrive Lord!" yelled Bohman as then on Judgement Arrow's Top-Middle Link Arrow appeared a brand new monster. It was a ginarmours warrior with a robotic styled red coloured head, as on top of it were purple diamonds. The Base of the monster was that of a robot as the colouring scheme from the arms, legs and torso were green with the muscles being that of yellow. It had diamonds for shoulders. It had three sets of purple and black wings that were in a shape of claws as the monster carried out a massive battle axe.

"Woah! That is a massive warrior!" yelled Frostgirl as she doubts even General Edward could strike down this beast of nature.
"I doubt even our best monsters could even scratch that monster." Soulburner worried with gritted teeth. Even though Pyro Phoenix and Trishula were powerful monsters, the size of this beast could show that it was anything, but safe.
"You would be correct as this monster has a powerful effect! When it is Link Summoned, I can pick up 2 different Attributes for it to have." explained Bohman as his eyes were narrowed as he looked at the graveyard, "Since you with the Synchro Monsters have Water monsters and you with an Ignis have Fire monsters, it is logical for me to pick both Fire and Water!" Cubic Hydradrive Lord's battle axe then glew both red and blue after he said that.
Cubic Hydradrive Lord: Earth/Fire/Water Attribute
"Now, here is the effect of my Cubic Hydradrive Lord! All monsters that share this attribute lose all of their effects! That means I locked everything your decks have to offer for as long as this monster is on the field!" yelled Bohman as Cubic Hydradrive Lord then performed a vertical slash made out of steam, knocking both General Wayne and Trishula down to their knees.
"This is what I am saying! This is the might of our Hydradrive monsters!" yelled Harlin to which Bohman nodded at that.
"I agree.I have done the calculations for the rest of the battle and if all goes well, the hammer of justice shall prevail and leave us the winners!" roared Bohman as he threw his arm out, "Battle! Cubic Hydradrive Lord attacks and destroys General Wayne Of The Ice Barrier!" yelled Bohman as then Cubic Hydradrive Lord then began to glow.
"That is not even mentioning the ability of Judgement Arrows! When a monster it points to is involved in any kind of battle, the attack points of that monster doubles!" yells Bohman as Cubic Hydradrive Lord roared in power as he grabbed onto his battle axe, as the edges were that of stone as they were as hot as the sun and the handle was that of an upcoming storm.
Cubic Hydradrive Lord: 2300 - 4600 attack points
Cubic Hydradrive Lord then sped straight towards his enemy as he raised his battle axe to the sky as he then brought it down, which gave General Wayne enough time to use his short blade to stop the attack for a little while, creating a blade lock. That blade lock lasted for 2 seconds as the blade of Wayne's broke into 2 by the sheer strength of Cubic Hydradrive Lord as the heat from the edges pierced through his cold armour, melting it as it then landed on his chest, creating a downwards slash.
Resulting in a massive explosion.

"Don't think you are safe from another attack! When Cubic Hydradrive Lord attacks a monster with the same attribute and destroys it, I am allowed to attack once more!" yelled Bohman as they gasped hearing that.
"WHAT?!"
"Wait, if he manages to attack Trishula and destroys it, that means-" Soulburner began to theorize something about this duel.
"We will lose!" yelled Flame as he is losing his cool.
"Battle! Cubic Hydradrive Lord! Attack Trishula, Dragon of The Ice Barrier!" yelled Bohman as then before the attack even went through, snakes appeared out of the battle axe, as they were coloured red, blue and brown as they went towards Trishula, covering each head so that they don't retaliate against the massive monster. Cubic Hydradrive Lord then dashed towards with insane speed and used his powerful axe to slash at Trishula's chest, creating a massive scar at the chest as it then began to bleed living lava before it exploded right at their faces.

Frostgirl and Soulburner: 2300 - 400 lp
"AAH!" yelled Soulburner as he covered himself with his forearms to shield himself from the explosion that covered the entire arena.
"We are wide open!" Flame yelled out in fear and shock, not expecting the power from Bohman, who had enough strength to even push around Varis if he wasn't careful enough.
"That's right!" yelled Harlin as he turned towards his brother, "Bohman! Finish them off!"
"With pleasure! Cubic Hydradrive Lord's effect is not once per turn! I am now allowed to attack once more!" yelled Bohman as he then thrusted his arm forward, "BATTLE! Cubic Hydradrive Lord attacks you three directly! Property Zero!" yelled Bohman as then three snakes appeared out of the monster's battle axe as they were then shot towards their opponent.
The red snake wrapped around Soulburner, the brown one wrapped around Flame and the blue snake wrapped itself around Frostgirl, making sure that their prey won't escape the powerful slash that was coming their way as the axe's energy flew across the server's horizon. The eyes glew red as it then dashed towards them.
Soulburner and Flame closed their eyes for a moment.
Waiting for demise.
Not able to win.
Not able to save him.
Not able to save their friend.
Not able to save…
Seigen.
"I am sorry…" Soulburner somberly said.
"For what?" asked Frostgirl as then Soulburner blinked for a moment as he looked at her with a shocked expression. He saw the snakes still wrapped around him, however the attack didn't went through.
Or it did, even if it dealt zero damage to their avatar.
"You can thank Defense Draw for that. I got it from that creepy tree guy from a few months ago." Explained the shocked men around her, "I am allowed to not take any damage from a single attack and the price? A new card from my deck." Frostgirl then drew the top card from her deck.
"Damn it!" Harlin cursed under his breath.
"That is fine. I will go after that trouble on my next turn. I end my turn." said Bohman in a calm tone with his eyes closed, fully waiting to win the next turn.
Turn 8. Soulburner - 400 lp - 2 cards
"Oh my god, that was closer than it should have ever been." Soulburner thanked everyone and his girlfriend that they were able to walk around after that massive attack from his enemies, "Thank you so much." said Soulburner as he turned to Frostgirl, as she smiled at him.
"You're welcome, it was the least that I could do." said Frostgirl as she then turned to him, "Hey… I want to admit something."
Soulburner raised a brow, "Yeah? What is it?" he asked.
"I am not so confident about winning on my turn and with everything in place, my current hand won't be able to finish them off," said Frostgirl as she sighed, "So what I am trying to say is… you have to win in this turn…" Soulburner widened his eyes, "Sorry, I didn't want to leave you with a massive burden like that, but with everything at the current moment, it is the-"
"Don't sweat it." Soulburner interjected, "You didn't leave me with a burden, if anything, you helped us more than I could admit." said Soulburner as he smiled at her, a flashy smile dto be exact, "I couldn't thank you enough. With this one turn, we will win this duel." He then turned to Flame, "Is that right, buddy?"
"That's right! And don't forget, you still have the new Skill I made a few months ago. Nothing is impossible if you put your mind into it." said Flame with Soulburner nodded.
"Couldn't have said it better myself… So let's go! In this turn, right here and right now," Soulburner pointed at Bohman, as he narrowed his eyes at him, "We will win!"
"I would like to see you try." said Bohman with a threatening voice.
"Oh you are not going to like it when you eat your words!" Soulburner turned towards his partner, "Flame. Hit one up for the duel! I am going to use my Skill!"
"Right on, give me a moment!" Flame popped out of his duel disk as he then created sparks of data that came out of his hands, "Even though I am not as skilled in creating Data Storms like the Wind or Dark Ignis, I will still create one that is at my Power!" The data from his hands began to break away from his hand, as it began to swirl around him to create a small gale made out of fiery wind.
"I activate my Skill! Neo Burnin Access!" yelled Soulburner as then from the hands of Flame, more and more data were flown from his hands to the point that it made some people fly away, which included that of Frostgirl and Harlin while Bohman stood tall, unflinching.
A shame not everyone did the same as them.
"YO! BOSS!" yelled Pigeon as he carried Frog on his legs, "Are you sure that this is a good idea?! The last Data Storm nearly crashed the server a second time in Link VRAINS' history, I don't think it will be safe!" yelled Pigeon.
Pigeon was flying and recording the entire duel so that they could broadcast it to the entire world, allowing everyone to watch the duel to completion. They arrived as soon as they heard the news that both Soulburner and Frostgirl returned, which Frog instantly thought would be a good idea to go over as quickly as possible to get some footage of the duel, so that they could earn some cash.
"Nonsense, when have I ever had a bad idea?" asked Frog as he could feel Pigeon opening his mouth, "Don't answer that. I simply want the world to see their heroes on the Big Screen again, is that so much to ask for?!" yelled Frog.
"No, but… LOOK! The Data is going straight towards us! If it gets any closer than I will be served at KFC or Popeyes and you would be served in any restaurant that sells frog legs!" yelled Pigeon as he instinctively went backwards to get away from the heat.
"Oh please that is just some data that SOL Tech could fix up in a day, there is nothing to worry about! If anything, they would fix it up in a matter of hours! So what if there is a small storm, it won't hurt u-"
Unfortunately for Frog, the data that was created from Flame then exploded into a fiery storm made out of pure data that could be only described as something from Dante's Inferno could only bring to the Mortal Coil, as the remaining rocks around him melted from the sheer heat that it externed in a matter of seconds. Bohman withstood that blast of sudden energy as Soulburner was at the epicenter of it.
"On second thought, FLY! FLY AWAY AS QUICKLY AS POSSI-" Frog couldn't even finish his sentence as he and Pigeon were then caught at the epicenter, logging them off instantly.
Fortunately for them, they weren't harmed in the real world. It will take a day at most to regain their avatars.
Soulburner then threw his hand into the Burning Data Storm with a grin on his face, "When I have 1000 or less life points, I am allowed to take 1 Cyberse Monster from here and add it to my Extra Deck! If it is a Salamangreat Monster, I am allowed to take 3 copies of that monster into my Extra Deck!" he said as he could feel the storm flowing towards his hand, almost ripping itself from his body, however through sheer will alone, it managed to stick itself for one person: Seigen.
"BRING THE HEAT, SOULBURNER!" Flame roared as Soulburner then yelled.
"GO! STORM ACCESS!" yelled Soulburner as he then grabbed onto the card itself as he got it from the Data Storm, not before seeing a magical beast that came down towards the card, welcoming his new master. Soulburner looked at the new card with a smile on his face, as the tornado slowly subdued itself.
Bohman narrowed his eyes at him, knowing that whatever it was, it was something that he has to be careful of.
Frostgirl saw the look of his eyes and smiled, knowing that the duel was in their hands if everything goes alright.
"Salamangreat Burst Gryphon… thank you… Your help will be needed!" Soulburner then placed the card in his Extra Deck, alongside 2 more copies of it, as he then placed fingers onto his deck as they then burst into flames as soon as he placed them on there, "IT IS MY TURN! GO! BURNING DRAW!" yelled Soulburner as he then drew the top card of his deck, creating a small storm made out of fire from that draw alone.
Soulburner smirked as he then placed the card onto his hand, "This will be great, but first I activate the Equip Spell, Rising Fire!" as then on his field appeared an Equip Spell card, "If I control no monsters on my side of the field, I am allowed to target 1 Fire monster in my graveyard," a card popped out of his graveyard to which he took it.
"Come out! Salamangreat Tiger!" yelled Soulburner as then on his field, reappeared Salamangreat Tiger, creating a small storm made out of fire.

"Don't forget. Cubic Hydradrive Lord negates all Fire and Water monsters' effects!" yelled Bohman as Cubic Hydradrive Lord raised his battle axe as then several red coloured snakes wrapped around Salamangreat Tiger.
"You think I forgot? Sadly, I didn't. However, I still have a card that I can play! I normal summon Salamangreat Fennec!" on his side of the field appeared a rather large fennec fox as it was mechanical in some parts, but it still felt alive. It had an orange colouring scheme around the face, chest, tail and knees, a purple colouring scheme in its ear, legs and chest, and it was silver around the back area and around its head and face as it also had green eyes. On the back of it was fire on the tail.

"Before you say anything, we remember. Your Cubic Hydradrive Lord's effect makes it so that Salamangreat Fennec can not activate its effect." said Flame with narrowed eyes as several red snakes wrapped around Salamangreat Fennec.
Normally, a duelist would boast that they have the advantage at the current moment due to simply negating the effects of the monsters that were currently on the field and that is not even mentioning the fact that he has bigger life points. Bohman quickly understood what his opponent was trying to do and sadly, all he could do was stare.
"Though, I doubt that would matter! As I will try this for a moment!" yelled Soulburner as he was then struck with a red lightning bolt as the entire world greyed out with the exception of his eyes. "I tune my Level 3 Salamangreat Fennec with my Level 5 Salamangreat Tiger in order to Synchro Summon!" yelled Soulburner as his two monsters flew upwards.
Salamangreat Fennec turned into 3 brown rings as Salamangreat Tiger turned into 5 blue rings as they then stacked on top of each other to create 8 red rings on top of each other.
3 + 5 = 8!
Soulburner then began to chant, "When the wings are clipped from its reign, the head marches through tyranny to become one with everything! I Synchro Summon! Level 8, Salamangreat Burst Gryphon!" yelled Soulburner as then on his field appeared a new monster. It was that of a bird, phoenix and a lion. The head was that of a red maned lion with a large beard, the head having a combination of red and silver spikes with yellow eyes. The wings were that of blades sticking out of the monster as it had sharp claws alike of an eagle. It had massive thighs as it was a muscular creature with it having red blades from his knees and had green orbs all around the monster. It had red fire around the entire monster.

Bohman narrowed his eyes as the new monster, "So there it is, your newest monster that you added in your deck."
Soulburner grinned, "You betcha!"
"It looks majestic…" said Frostgirl as she had to admit, while her monsters were anything, but ugly, Soulburner's monsters brought out a new beauty to almost every monster that there ever were.
"A shame that it can not activate its effect." said Flame as red snakes wrapped around Burst Gryphon, which was a shame since it was able to special summon a Salamangreat Monster by lowering its level to that exact monster and once Reincarnated, it would be able to special summon a monster from the graveyard during his next turn, which was one of the best abilities that they could have.
"True, but there is an upside. I am allowed to draw a card from my deck thanks to Celestial Bell Tower!" yelled Soulburner as he then drew the top card from his deck with a smirk on his face. Both him and Flame looked at the newly drawn card as they smiled at that. "Perfect… I play my Quick-Play Spell card Salamangreat Tail!"
His Spell card appeared on the field to which Flame moved forward, "With this, we are allowed to take one Salamangreat Monster on our side and make it gain attack points equal to its Defense Points and then, after we are finished with that, we gain life points equal to the amount our monster just gained!" explained Flame to which Harlin widened his eyes at.
"Burst Gryphon has a total of 2000 defense points, so that means we gain 2000 life points!" yelled Soulburner as Burst Gryphon glew red for a long while as he and Frostgirl glew red for a bit as well.

"I won't let you have that many life points! Reveal Trap!" yelled Bohman as then he revealed his Trap card which had an image of a homeless man being forcibly dragged towards poverty from his brief prosperity, "Return Fate!"

"The effect of the card I just activated is pretty simple to understand. The moment you gain life points, I am able to activate this card from the Spell and Trap Zone to deal you damage equal to the amount you just gained!" yelled Bohman as then a purple bullet was then shot directly towards Soulburner, making him drop to one knee.

"Why would he have a card like that in his hand?" wondered Flame as he looked towards the field and then back to his opponent, "The best guess I have is that he wants to have lowered life points so that it would have been easier for him or his brother to beat us."
"Maybe, but that doesn't stop us from doing this! You might have negated his effect, but it is never too late to go old style by bashing my monster right at your face! BATTLE! Salamangreat Burst Gryphon attacks your Cubic Hydradrive Lord! Burst Impact!" yelled Soulburner as Burst Gryphon roared, knocking every snake from its body as its eyes glew a harsh blue.
"Even so… Judgement Arrows will lower the amount of life points we will lose! As the attack is now doubled!" yelled Bohman as then Cubic Hydradrive Lord roared in power as his battle axe became the very state that managed to murder Trishula and General Wayne.
Cubic Hydradrive Lord: 2300 - 4600 attack points
"SO!? The result will be the same!" yelled Soulburner as then Burst Gryphon then dashed straight towards his enemy, creating a massive explosion behind him, charging full force without a moment's hesitation as the monster caught Cubic Hydradrive Lord's battle axe and used his free hand to pierce through the monster's skin, creating a massive explosion that nearly knocked Bohman out of his duel board, but was on his duel board for the remainder of the battle.
Harlin and Bohman: 500 - 300 lp
Frostgirl and Soulburner: 400 lp
"We are… Still in this duel!" yelled Harlin as he took a breath looking at the life point situation and realizing that it was almost dead even.
Soulburner grinned, "Really? Well… Let's see about that! I activate this Spell! Salamangreat Circle!" yelled Soulburner as a card then appeared on the field, shocking almost everyone.
"Excellent strategy! When this card is activated, we are allowed to add 1 Salamangreat monster from our deck to our hand!" yelled Flame as then a card popped out of their duel disk as Soulburner took it. "We add Salamangreat Meer!"
"Wait… that is a great strategy." said Frostgirl as she wouldn't have expected a strategy like that to be activated during this moment of the duel!
"Salamangreat Meer's effect activates! When it is added in any way other than simply drawing into it, I am allowed to special summon this monster!" yelled Soulburner as then on his field appeared a lizard with orange coloured scales at the back as on the front it was gray, with red lining and brown skin, as there were silver arms, feet and tail. It had green eyes and jet turbines at its back.

Bohman was the only one not reacting to what just happened as he looked down at his graveyard with narrowed eyes.
Harlin took several steps backwards in which resulted in his duel board floating behind his brother in complete shock at what he has seen, "No, no… He would be upset at what just happened. No!"
"Sorry, but this will be the end." said Soulburner with a determined look on his face, "It is nothing personal towards you or your brother."
"This is just for him. For our friend." said Frostgirl with a solemn look on her face.
"Seigen…" said Flame as they then all looked at each other as they nodded towards them.
Ready to finish this duel once and for all.

Their friend.
For Seigen.
"BATTLE!" began Flame.
"Salamangreat Meer!" continued Frostgirl.
"Attack them directly!" and finished Soulburner.
"SPARKLING FIRE!" they all yelled as Meer opened up its maw, one that paled in comparison towards to that of Burst Gryphon, but was enough to make an impression to everyone in the duel as then it was shot straight towards Bohman.
The man was silent…
"Close…"
Until he got a card from his graveyard.
"But so far."
They looked at him with shock and fear on what is going to happen.
"When I have an Earth, Fire, Water and Wind Attributed Hydradrive Link Monsters in my graveyard, I am allowed to banish Hydradrive Scabbard from my graveyard," Bohman revealed the card as copies of Grand, Flow, Coolant and Burn Hydradrives appeared beside him, "The battle damage I take is halved… while the other half is inflected towards my opponent!"
"WHAT?!" they screamed in horror.
"That means…"
"All of this…"
"Was for nothing?"
"Precisely. I may not know what I have done… all I know is that losing is detrimental to me and I won't let that happen!" yelled Bohman as as the fireball then split into two as one half went towards Bohman and the other hitting the two other duelists, finishing this duel in a…

Due to the immense power of Flame, right before the attack made contact with his friends, he managed to use data to connect their legs to their duel boards
However, that couldn't have been said for Bohman as he was then sent flying off his duel board, yelling in pain as he flew with so much energy, it was like a rocket flown towards Space to contact a different Planet.
"BOHMAN!" yelled Harlin in worry as he sped straight towards his big brother and managed to catch him on his duel board, almost knocking them down due to the laws of Physcis, but Harlin managed to use data underneath his duel board so that he could manage to make his duel board still be in the air.
Bohman looked at his little brother, a pained expression on his face, he had his eyes closed form the pain, "Har-" he was then sent into a coughing fit to which he had to use his hand to cover it up as Harlin's worry grew to massive proportions.
"Save your breath! I need to get to him as soon as possible so relax and rest!" said Harlin as he looked behind him to see Soulburner and Frostgirl standing up from the explosion, shaking it off. "Shit, they are like cockroaches, unable to be put down for good. And I have to go now or he will be incredibly mad at me!"
Harlin then speed towards the north faster than he has ever gotten in his life on a duel board, with Bohman resting on his duel board. The three noticed him flying away as they then flew towards him as fast as they could possibly go.
"OH HELL NO! YOU ARE NOT LEAVING WITH SEIGEN'S DATA!" yelled Soulburner with anger of 100 Suns as his anger forced the duelboard to switch from using regular red flames to blue flames instead, increasing the firepower by several notches.
"You are not getting away!" yelled Frostgirl as then she noticed that she was flying considerably slower than anyone else as Flame noticed that.
"Don't worry, I got this!" yelled Flame as he the shot data straight from his hands and towards Frostgirl's duel board as the fire and jet into blue flames going as fast as humanly possible.
"Oh my gosh, can these three wannabe heroes get away already?!" Harlin yelled as he then looked at his duel disk, "I should've just done this instead. This should leave them occupied for a moment. BIT! BOOT! Have at these three!" yelled Harlin as he sped forward as 2 portals then appeared out of nowhere.
"What the-"
Two figures then emerged from the portals. They had a same design of a humanoid being. They had short sunglasses that covered their eyes with the sides being that of an Eastern star as the way they are dressed is similar to a human wearing a suit was, however it covered the entire body and acted as skin rather than a suit.
There were only a couple of differences. Bit was the red skinned robot with red shades and a green coloured suit at the front with a green tie while Boot was the blue skinned robot with green shades and an orange coloured suit and an orange coloured tie.
"Ey! You two punks are the one that beat ol' Haru and Bowman, ey? Well, ya ain't gonna do the same to us, punk! Capiche?!" yelled Boot with a stereotypical New York accent, catching them off guard.
"This is most unsettling! You cretins won't be allowed to defeat us in the formation of dueling! We shall retaliate for what you did to our bosom friend, Haru!" yelled Bit in a stereotypical British accent alike Flame, and yet he sounds more sophisticated like he spent his time in Thesaurus.
Harlin grumbled, "Why do you guys keep calling me by that nickname?" asked Harlin as he shook his head. "Whatever! You two! Keep them busy! Capich- Damn it, Boot, now you got me doing it!"
"Capiche, mate! These bozos won't know what hit 'em!" yelled Boot as Harlin sighed.
"Good. See you later, guys." said Harlin as he sped away from everyone as Soulburner and Frostgirl gritted their teeth at.
"We are losing him!" yelled Soulburner as he tried to get pass these two, but Bit and Boot got in the way.
"Halt! You are prohibited from going any further." said Bit.
Soulburner groaned, "Get out of the way, man!"
"Nuh uh!" yelled Boot.
"What do you mean Nuh Uh?!" asked Frostgirl with a tired tone.
"I meant nuh uh!" said Boot as Bit smirked.
"The only way to get through us, is by duel-" and then, to everyone's surprise, a blue energy whip wrapped around Bit's arm, taking everyone by the surprise. What was even more shocking was that Bit then flung towards the nearest island the moment they noticed.
"BIT!" Boot then flew towards his friend, "You okay, mate?"
Bit then stood up, "I am fine," he said, dropping his British accent. "Who did this?!"
Before anyone could respond, two figures flew between everyone, revealing two people that they have never met in their lives before.
One was a girl that for some reason looked really similar, but at the same time, looked like a completely different person. For some strange reason, it looked like Frostgril, but with some modifications.
The other was actually someone new. It was a boy around their age. He had green eyes with multicoloured hair. The back was red while on the front it was a spiky golden coloured with purple highlights. His uniform was thin and skin tight. It was dark green up to his neck and down to his feet, as there were parts of the uniform where it was black as what separates it was yellow linings. He had a gray belt. His duel disk looked like the same one that Soulburner and Stormrider use, but this time it was blue.
"Oh~ Who did that? Gee, I wonder," the girl then turned towards the boy, "Say, Playmaker, do you know who did that?" she asked as Playmaker sighed. The girl then noticed her whip in her hands, "OH! Would you look at that? Guess I was the one that did that, whoops."
"Why you-" Bit was then cut off as he saw Playmaker turn towards the heroes as they looked at them in confusion.
"I apologize for interrupting you two from a potential duel, though I did see that you were in a hurry, so allow us to handle them." said Playmaker with narrowed eyes.
"Really?" Soulburner was skeptical seeing someone help them out when they came out out of the blue.
"Uh, yeah, for real. Not to worry you three, but," the girl, mentally thanking Emma for making a cloaking device so that they don't instantly recognize her, pointed at Harlin carrying his big brother on a duel board, "that little guy is leaving with his massive brother and you guys are standing here?"
"Right, but… how can we trust you?" asked Frostgirl.
"I know that this is sudden, but all will be explained in due time, please listen to us." said Playmaker as they all looked at each other until they came to a conclusion.
They nodded at them.
"Sure, thanks a lot. We owe you two!" yelled Soulburner as he, Frostgirl and Flame sped off. To find their friend from the clutches of Bohman.
"Gosh, it almost felt like they would never leave, huh meatbag?" asked Ai as he came out of the duel disk, shocking both Bit and Boot.
"It makes sense, they got help from someone that they just met today. Being cautious would be common sense." said Playmaker as he then turned to the girl, "Are you ready? Angel?"
Angel, which was short for Blue Angel, smiled, "Of course." she said as she then turned to see both Bit and Boot fly towards them, ready for a duel. "Are you ready, Aqua?" asked Skye as she turned towards her duel disk.
"Positive. Be careful, they could have the same type of deck as the two brothers had." said Aqua as for some strange reason, those two beings reminded her of the AIs made from the Light Ignis. She had to be calm about this. She can't jump towards conclusions like that. Not at all.
"Ready?" asked Blue Angel as Playmaker nodded.
"Ready." he confirmed.
The 4 looked at each other as they then yelled out:
"DUEL!"
Bit and Boot: 8000 lp
Playmaker and Blue Angel: 8000 lp

GREAT GUACAMOLE! I AM FINALLY FINISHED WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS CHAPTER! IT TOOK ME SO LONG AND I AM SO INCREDIBLY SORRY FOR EVERYTHING! DISHONOUR ON ME! DISHONOUR ON MY FAMILY! DISHONOUR FOR MY COW! Anyways, hope you enjoyed the 27k word special that I have cooked up for a while now.
Now, I have decided to test something out and I want to know, was it better with or without the songs being played in the background? Because I am not really sure. It gave me more time and freedom to think about it, but if you want more or less like this, tell me. Now let's get to the meat and potatoes of this chapter.
Seigen being captured… yes, I went there. Why? Because… lowkey, I had no idea how to fit him with the cast at all after this. Sure I could have made him duel Windy, but that has already been done. You already have 2 hackers on the team, 1 more would have been overkill. Not to mention, it would have been a hard time to even connect Bohman to the good guys if he didn't do this, so this was the best solution, I am sorry. Thunder… please, I know that he is the son that you adopted from me, but please spare me.
For Bohman and Harlin. Gotta admit, Bohman was an alright villain for me. I thought he was cool and I liked his deck. About Harlin? I just… am really neauteral of him. So I decided to revamp something about this: I think I have an idea of giving both of them a much needed boost so that they could be powerful in this war and that is to upgrade their decks. I made them draw in this duel for 2 reasons: 1. To give the good guys a reason to push forward in their journey to surpass them and 2. To make both Bohman and Harlin formidable, almost unable to be beaten with their strategies and yes… Bohman will have a way to target the Dark and Light Monsters. Don't worry.
The bit of SOL Tech creating Link Spells? I thought that would have been a fun little worldbuilding for everyone and to show their power in the next Season. The next chapter will be Playmaker and Blue Angel vs Bit and Boot and I will be honest: I changed Bit and Boot's decks. To which? I am not telling, you put the puzzle pieces together. Hint: It is a real world Cyberse Deck.
