The Longest Plan 2
She felt weightless, most Robots don't dream, even her own peers of the same model don't have such odd feature. So why is she feeling that she is dreaming? Her former Master tinkered with her? Most of her memories from before being awakened by Mother were lost due to corruption due to how many Milenias she had been deactivated. Maybe this was a result of delaying requesting a new body? Perhaps, but her model even at the peak of her creators, only a dozen had been made, no way she would ask Mother to redirect the amount of valuable materials, manpower, and factories to have this several Milenia old body replaced.
...
This state continued, leading to the AI named Alusia to begin thinking, remembering... Reminiscing...
Though most memories from before her creators ceased to exist and she ended shut down and stored away were unreadable, some scraps remained. Most deteriorated and only bits of the visuals could be understood, others had enough condition that most of it could be called and understood, Visuals, Audio, even written materials in some. But the one set of memories that since these dream like states began to happen has been bothering Alusia herself the most, were ones with one thing, a Young Girl...
Appearance wise, the Photo in her memories was severely damaged by data corruption, but from the rather pixelated image, it was a barely in her teens girl, bone thin from malnutrition, and the face bore several details similar to hers, but nothing remaining in the memory storage helped find who she was or even if Alusia herself had ties to that girl. Then an Image of a body bearing several similarities to that girl, slumped against a metal wall, the visible lack of maintenance made her conclude this was possibly one of the less cared for areas of the Civilization that created her.
...
Only five images, most not in any shape to give much, and only that Photo of the half dead girl in a slum was in good enough shape to let her scrutinize it...
Scouring through her Bug and Corrupt data ridden memory, Alusia tried to once again, solve this one Puzzle that made her feel something odd, it twisted her heart, as if she needed to solve it... Then suddenly... A memory was called, a new one... No visuals, only an Audio barely out of unusable range.
"... You're lucky... Come on... Let's... to make...a... Better you..."
Little in it was understandable, but it was Versian language, it was too broken and many chunks had either compression or noise problems, meaning it could have been a long talk, or a ten second pep talk. But it brought something to her dream state thinking... Maybe that girl in the Memories was her... Before what made her into... Her current self?
...
...
"-lusia?"
Brought out of a daze, a sign the body was having issues, Alusia looked to Mother, The Sankt Kaiserin Tanya von Degurechaff.
"Yes Mother?"
"As i had been talking, even though this isn't a short term travel, plans to commemorate the crew Birthdays have been proposed and accepted. And all aboard agree you too should take part."
"Understood."
The Thousands of Petabytes that comprised all data about the ship, crew, and all that happened aboard were quickly put down, leaving only the simplistic Holographic display showing the emblem that represents the Sankt Kaiserin's Nation, the Sankt Imperium of Humanity, currently on a full scale effort to expand its reach to the entire Milk Way Galaxy within the Millenia. The ship carrying her, KMS Serebryakov, was the pride and strongest of all designs ever made, it spared nothing, the most innocarive yet safe designs, the latest in Material Engineering, an entire fifith of the Aldnoah Core Orbs to power and use their specialized functions to further strenghten this vessel...
And a moment later, it was replaced with something simple, yet surprising, a hand drawn Alusia in the style of Germania-Chan, the signature revealed it was Tanya who did, with that drawing, a Happy Birthday message.
"Now, consider this something i'm personally doing, and not an Order, do you have anything you wish or need? Consider this your Birthday present."
Alusia quickly calculated and analyzed the data, pairing the K.E. (Kaiserin Eternity) Calendar with the Time Cycle equivalency... And the date matched, today was the day Mother had reactivated her. And then what she told the insanely human looking android began to be processed, not even half of a Picosecond had to be used for ther Logic processors to put only one thing in the List, a Replacement Body. Yet she deleted it and ignored it.
"N-nothing mother, I'm pretty satisfied with things as is."
Alusia then noticed Tanya had a mischievous smirk on her godly face.
"Alusia... I know you asked for no one, even me, from looking through your Maintenance Capsule Logs... But please, be honest, or i will have to reveal this to the Ship's Elenium Division."
She showed a Datacube, and Alusia shuddered, no matter how insanely advanced she was as an Android, even she knew better to sfay the fuck away from anyone who's part of the Elenium Logia R . Resigning to the defeat, her head was low.
"My current body is quickly approaching its service life limits, but i can't request a new one knowing just how many resources would have to be diverted just to manufacture one."
Tanya pondered, and had to accept it as a reasonable reason why she had been delaying it despite the ridiculously number of issues she's been having at exponential increases each cycle, and that's been going for 302 years already.
"Shush, Alusia, the highest priority should be your ability to perform to the best of your capacity, and you cannot do so with a body falling apart, right?"
"Yes."
"Then it's resolved."
In no time, Tanya started a call, with the Ugar Munitorium.
"Sank Kaiserin! What may we-"
"-I have no time for formalities, I am sending a blueprint that must be manufactured with the utmost urgency, you have Carte blanche to requisition materials and manpower... Except from Elenium, understood?"
The man saluted, the call ended, by the end of the day, Mother had sent Alusia the Munitorium Report for the ETA for her new Body, and the cost sheet, indeed, it was a very steep cost, but it came by including upgrades and even newly developed materials and technologies.
...
It was During a routine Patrol in the Southmost Outer Rim area, the Sensors, Radars, and Hyperdrive jump alarm arrays all failed to warm of the encounter us of the Imperial Destroyer Zimmerich had just bumped into, a Gigantic ship, hundreds of times bigger than ours, a Star Destroyer II Class no less, and each of its escort ships equalled us in size, and completely dwarfed anything bellow our Dreadnough Battleships, battle ensued after Bridge calls for surrender and Identification were met with silence, and whoever the Fleet Commander was, many cursed him fearing dying for fleeing battle and instead dooming everyone to death by fighting the enemy.
But nightmare wasn't that ship, the escort fleet, or how it easily obliterated our Navy, no, nightmare came when they decided to send a Boarding party... Of one... She looked like a Human, yet she did things even I believe the likes of a Sith or Jedi would be incapable of. Our Blasters were ignored, she didn't evade or block them, but why do so when they simply bounce off her body? Or when that woman just walked through a Blast door made of thick Plasteel as if it didn't exist? Resistance was useless, it took a single person boarding this Star Destroyer a little over two Hours to take control of all key zones, by obliterating all resistance inside. Once all will to fight had died and stormtroopers and crew alike surrendered, she simply spoke, fluently in out Language.
"As per the Sank Kaiserin Laws on War, I gracefully accept your surrender."
When asked why their calls at the start had been ignored, this woman dressed in such a weird way just responded that she couldn't analyze and comprehend their language until now, so their calls sounded like gibberish to everyone aboard. After this, i Swore under my honor as Captain of the Imperial 601st Stormtrooper Division that I am quitting and just live off my pathetic paintings.
- Captain Ja Timatik, part of the Stormtrooper forces aboard the 165th South Outer Rim Patrol Fleet.
...
Alusia's debut performance in active combat with her new Body was nothing short of absolutely perfection. And it reminded me about how scarily exceptional she was as part of a line of already overkill Super Android prototype designs, so much so even the Versian's decided to not go ahead after their test batch production of two dozens, and Alusia somehow exceeds even those already insane specs. After all, she isn't supposed to be LASER BEAM PROOF or sturdy enough to just power walk right through a Door meant to demand dedicated Ornance or Hardware to cut through.
"Mother! I am back!"
"Welcome home...?"
It was minimal, but she smiled. Well, she's happy, that's all fine and dandy, right?
Suddenly the terminal in my room lights up. A call from the Comms center? I pick it up, and am face to Face with Selya, part of Elya's family, and the head of this ship's branch of the Secretarial department, rather, only THE head of that department is allowed by their rules to be working with me within a solar system of distance. So guess she IS the defacto head of my Secretarial Department? Whatever.
"Holy Kaiserin! We are receiving a request to be patched up, it's for you... Caller ID code is 165420."
Crap.
"Patch it in."
I resign myself, postponing it will just make things worse. The holographic screen changes to show... Adelaide...
"Adie, what a surprise."
"Mom..."
Oooops, gues she found out...
"What in the fuck are you thinking authorizing a live test of the new SK Warp Drive unit those Elenium wackos installed in your ship? WITH YOU AND ALISIA ABOARD?"
"Oh, well, that's... Teee hee?"
Adie's angry face is way too cute, so much I cannot help myself... Ah Visha, how i wish you also had become Immortal... Wait... No... Scrap that... She would be taking Adie's side here and thusbi would be stuck on the call AND in the room being nagged by both.
"... Do you understand?"
Oh, she had been talking?
"Yes?"
"Right... You didn't. Short form: GET THE FUCK BACK TO THE MILK WAY GALAXY NOW!"
"Ok, ok, see you later Adie, Alusia, give a goodbye to her?"
The call ended. Resigning myself, I iust semt tue Order to the Bridge staff to make the return trip. Which they responded by saying the SK Warp unit wasn't present. What?
Not even a second later, and something drops on top of my head. Would have hurt a lot, had my Godly body not become ever better as time and the reach of the Sankt Imperium of Humanity expanded. It wasn't the Warp driver, but a Girl... Just like the Type 95 had turned into one a few centuries ago... Fuck you Elenium weirdos!
"MOMMY!"
And now i have a Teleporting Child that is born from a fucking Piece of ship hardware... The comms buzz.
"Sankt Kaiserin! The Elenium engineers are saying the Warp driver is in your room... Should we throw them out via the airlocks?"
"Captain Kristoph, those Engineers are right, for once today..."
I move the camera of the call to the newest "Child" of mine.
"Uhhh... I did hear during my Academy days this happened once with you... Sasuga Sankt Kaiserin?"
"Yes, yes, have those idiots and some security come here, just for safety i will go along. And not ONE MORE word of this, if you wish to not be out through Space Artillery supplementary drills."
The Captain just saluted and shut the call. It took some convincing, but SK Warp-chan accepted to get out Ship and fleet back home, by being promissed to be rewarded with a few days with me... Fuck you Being X, can't even fool around in peace!
