Chapter 22 Dree Elle's Triumph
It had been a few months since Dree Elle had come to Eternia and she found it hard to be much help at times. She wanted to help with things for the masters of the universe but it was hard for her being a song mage. Her magic needed to be cast through music. So it was hard for her to contribute easily.
"What a lovely day," Dree Elle sang. "Wonder and amazement will surely come my way,"she sang. "Time say light and dreams will come true as wishes do,"she sang. "Life has changed since I have known it,"she sang. "I know I have had hardships, I know have others I count on when trouble comes,"she sang. "I found love in one who I have met,"she sang looking at Orko in the garden.
"Sis I love hearing you sing," Yuka said. "I missed it while you were gone," he said.
"I am glad you enjoy my singing," Dree Elle said.
"I made some trick runes for myself, I normally find them out exploring or buy them with my allowance," Yuka said. "But I finally learned how to make them myself thanks to the book Orko let me borrow," he said. "I want to return the book to him," he said. "So have you seen him?" he asked.
"Yes he is in garden," Yuka said and went to the garden. He came up to Orko and handed him the book. "Thanks for letting me borrow it," he said.
"No problem," Orko told him. "I sure hope the trick runes you made work great," he said.
"I hope so too," Yuka said.
Dree Elle sighed was still looking at Orko from the window. Teela noticed this and came up to her. "You sure like Orko a lot, don't you Dree Elle?" Teela asked.
"What makes you like him a lot?" Dree Elle asked blushing. Her face turned violet.
Teela knew when Trollans blush their faces turned violet due to their blood being purple. She knew their blood was purple from the times Orko had been hurt. "There is no need to be embarrassed." Teela said. "It's okay if you have a crush on him," she said. "So you like him like him," she said.
"Yes," Dree Elle said. "I admit I do have crush on him," she said. "He's a good friend and a great person and an amazing wizard," she said. "I liked him as a friend when we first met, but as I got to know him I kind of started to have these feelings for him," she said. "I know after being burned so many times by other girls from what he told me he finds hard to find someone to like that way," she said. "I am just worried he may pick up on my feelings," she said.
"That is understandable," Teela said. "But you can tell him how you feel when you are good and ready, so it is okay to wait," she said.
"Thanks," Dree Elle said. "It's nice to talk to you," she said.
Meanwhile something happened on Trolla. Trapjaw and Clawful found a way to get there and found the vault where Trollan artifacts were kept. They blasted through the vault. Then they found what they were looking for the horn of evil. They stole it and escaped before the warrior bolts could stop them.
"I must alert my daughter," Seagg said. He called her right away.
Dree Elle picked up the communication. "Hello dad," Dree Elle said.
"No time for small talk my daughter, there is a big problem headed your way on Eternia," Seagg said. "I want you tell Orko, He man and the masters that the horn of evil has been stole by Trapjaw and Clawful," he said. "They are planning on using it to control Eternia," he said. "If they use it there all of Eternia will be doomed," he said.
"That is terrible I will tell them right away." Dree Elle said. She found Orko, Adam, Teela, and Man at arms in the garden. "Orko! Adam! Teela! Man at arms!" she cried coming up.
"Dree Elle is something going on?' Orko asked.
"The horn of evil," Dree Elle asked.
"What about the horn of evil it is in a high security vault on Trolla safe and away from wrong hands," Orko said.
"No it is here on Eternia," Dree Elle said. "My father called me and said some how Trapjaw and Clawful have gotten on to Trolla and have stolen it and plan on using it here," she said. "If we don't stop them all of Eternia is doomed!" she said.
"That is not good," Teela said.
"Yes it is big trouble," Orko said. "The horn of evil contains the spirit of the first destroying angel." he said. "if it is blown chances are she could get loose and cause more chaos than you can think of," he said.
"We should go to castle grayskull first they might cause trouble there first," Adam said.
"Yes we better get moving," Man at arms said.
"Can I come too sis?' Yuka asked.
"No Yuka it is too dangerous," Dree Elle said.
"But I wanna help," Yuka said.
"Find Fisto, Man E Faces, Buzzoff and Ram man we could use their help," Man at arms said. "Because if the horn is blown we need all the help we can get," he said. "Tell them to meet us in the evergreen forest," he said.
"I can do that," Yuka said and took off to the place in the palace where the other masters were.
"I know He man needs to help too," Adam said. "By the Power of Grayskull!" he said holding up his sword. He transformed into He man and Cringer became Battle cat. "Let's go," he said.
Yuka in the palace saw the four warriors he had been set by Man at arms to find. "There is trouble, Man at arms wants you four to meet him, Teela, He man, Orko and Dree Elle in the Evergreen forest," Yuka said. "Trapjaw and Clawful stole a dangerous and evil Trollan artifact called horn of evil and they need help just in case the horn is blown," he said. "My dad said it is very dangerous and causes horrible chaos," he said. "You got to hurry," he said.
"Thanks for tell us Yuka," Man E Faces said. "Stay here in case your father calls and needs to give more information, use this communicator to tell Man at arms more if your father tells you anything else if he calls," he said.
"I can do that," Yuka said.
The four warriors headed off. They saw He Man, Teela, Man at arms, Orko and Dree Elle waiting for them. "Let's hurry and head to Grayskull they will start there to cause trouble," Teela said.
So they headed to Grayskull.
Meanwhile at castle Grayskull Trapjaw and Clawful were ready to use it. "Blow the horn now Trapjaw," Clawful said.
"But these thing is creepy," Trapjaw said.
"Do it now you cowardly scrapheap or I will use my claw as a can opener," Clawful said.
"Okay, don't have a cow," Trapjaw said.
"Which of Skeletor's warriors is at castle Grayskull?' the sorceress said.
"Blow it now!" Clawful said.
Trapjaw blew it and horrible spell came out. "Oh no," the sorceress said. "I must fight this evil," she said. But it was hard she couldn't push it back and was knocked out.
The warriors appeared. "You will not blow that horn again on our watch." Buzzoff said grabbing the horn.
"You will not get away from me!" Clawful said attacking Buzzoff.
"Man E Faces catch!" Buzzoff said tossing it.
"I got it," Man E Faces said. Then tried to run off with it to get it away from the evil warriors. Trapjaw started to blast at him.
Fisto ran beside Man E Faces. "I will take it from here," Fisto said taking the horn and trying to get it away.
"I will take care of you Clawful," Ram man said crashing into a tree. "Oops missed," he said.
Then Fisto was tripped by Clawful and grabbed the horn. "Take this all of you!" Clawful said blowing horn really hard and loud. It released the spirit of the destroying angel.
"Oh no!' Orko said. "The spirit of the Destroying angel!" he said.
The destroying angel looked around and started make things terrible and evil. Dree Elle remembers the song on the horn finds the song and grabs it. She looks at it and is ready to go. She saw the others were in danger and needed help. Now it was time for her to prove her worth she felt.
"As day becomes night, wrong becomes right; Joy springs from sad, good will conquer bad,"Dree Elle sang loud and clear. The spirit of the Destroying angel shriek in pain and the chaos started to return to normal."As strength comes with weakness, brightness stops bleakness. As clouds change to sun, justice will be done!"she sang loud and proud."Harmony is the key for all the world to be healed, free and happy, just some harmony, harmony and love!"she sang with heart."As dark turns to light, truth will win the fight; As hope beats despair, evil disappears, evil disappears from here!"she sang. The angels spirit was forced back into the horn completely and everything was back to normal.
"Dree Elle you did it!" Orko said.
Trapjaw and Clawful escaped when she was singing.
"I finally proved I am useful," Dree Elle said.
"What do you mean finally proved you are useful?" Orko asked. "You have proven your worth in many ways by being a good friend," he said. "Never doubt your worth," he said.
"Orko is right you are a very amazing person Dree Elle and we all know so," He man said.
"Yes and you were a big help today," Man at arms said.
"I will send this back to Trolla and my father will make sure to make the vault more secure," Dree Elle said.
Once the horn of evil was taken back to Trolla to be locked up things seemed calm.
"You know something is bothering me," Orko said. "I am wondering how could two non Trollans who never been to Trolla know about the horn of evil and what it is capable of?" he asked. "Also how did they get there?" he asked.
"I am wondering that too," Dree Elle said. "I think someone had a planning hand in this and whoever it is it can't be good for anyone," she said.
Everyone had to agree on that.
"Hi in today's story you read how Dree Elle didn't find herself useful too her friends," Orko said. "But the truth is everyone is useful and can be a big help." he said.
