Chapter 25 Cringers special Friend
Cringer is Prince Adam's pet green tiger. He raised Cringer from a cub. Cringer stayed around the palace often. But sometimes he liked to explore very rarely though by himself. He was called Cringer because a thunderstorm gave him a major fright as a cub when Adam found him. Cringer today was going out to explore the woods.
"It sure is a pretty day." Cringer said. Then he heard something and saw a female green tiger. He came up to her. "Hello I am Cringer," he said.
"Hello Cringer I am Camile," Camile said.
"Nice to meet you Camile," Cringer said. Cringer and Camile began to spend time together in the forest. Then they came into town. "Watch this," he said. He did a trick for a vendor who gave him a fish.
Cringer brought the fish over. "Want to share?" Cringer asked.
"Sure," Camile said.
The two of them shared the fish. Cringer and Camile soon began to spend more time together.
About 3 months later Cringer had some food in his mouth and headed out. "I think Cringer has a girlfriend," Yuka said.
"What makes you say that Yuka?" Orko asked.
"Seems rather odd for you to say that little brother," Dree Elle said.
"Well Dree and Orko he has been sneaking out of the palace like this a lot more often on his own," Yuka said.
"It does seem rather suspicious," Dree Elle said.
"Let's follow him," Orko said.
They followed Cringer to a cave in the forest and saw Cringer give the food to a pregnant female green tiger.
"So Cringer you do have a girlfriend," Dree Elle said.
"Looks like you and your girlfriend are going to have babies," Orko said.
"Which means little Cringers," Yuka said.
"I am Camile you must be Orko, Dree Elle and Yuka, I am going to have Cringer's cubs," Camile said. "There is a problem right now because I want to be with Cringer and he has been trying convince me to come to the palace, and I don't know if I should head to the palace or not," she said.
"Please Camile they'll all love you," Cringer said. "I know Adam will love you, and I love you," he said.
"Yes everyone at the palace will make you feel welcome," Orko said. "They will be happy to have you there," he said.
"Yes everyone there is very nice," Dree Elle said.
"Yes they are," Yuka said.
"Okay I guess I will come," Camille said. They headed to the palace everyone saw Camile.
"This is Camile, Cringer's new mate," Orko said.
"How nice," Queen Marlena said.
"Yes and Camile will soon have Cringer's cubs," Dree Elle said.
"Cringer you rascal," Adam said petting Cringer. "So that is where you have been sneaking off too as of late," he said.
Camile was give a nice a comfy large box for the time when her cubs came. "This very exciting baby tigers," Yuka said.
"Yes it is exciting Yuka," Dree Elle said.
Then a few days later a poacher who sells animals on the black market heard that two rare green tigers on Eternia were there in the royal palace and about have cubs. "They will make a big buck on the intergalactic black market just like the rest of these creatures." the poacher said.
Meanwhile someone came from Trolla. "Hey Orko how have you been?" Squonge asked.
"I have been fine how are you?" Orko asked.
"I have been doing okay, they locked Gilv up tight in Flotsam prison, the highest security prison in all of Trolla," Squonge said. "Oh I just remembered something, someone from the world the Warrons which is in the same part of the universe has warrant out for his arrest." he said. "Since Vana helped make friends with Warrons for us again many members of the police force and warrior bolts on Trolla were ask to help find this criminal." he said. "His name is Torax he's a poacher, he captures animals and sells them on the intergalactic black market for a high price and sometimes people hire him to catch certain animals. If he thinks an animal will catch a high price he will catch it too," he said. "I was sent here because we all heard chatter he is headed out to catch rare animals on Eternia," he said. "Since I am the only one with warrior bolt who has been here and knows of Eternia I have been sent to help and get He man's help at capturing this criminal so he can face trial for his crimes," he stated.
"We will keep an eye on that Squonge," Adam said.
"Yes I will be here for a while investigating, so it will be sometime before I go," Squonge said.
"We will help you with your mission anyway we can little friend," Man at arms said.
"I really appreciate it," Squonge said. He saw Cringer and Camille. "You might want to keep a close on your green tiger Cringer and that new one Orko told me about," he said. "Because Green tigers are one of the rarest creatures on all of Eternia, said to be bringers of good fortune in many parts of the galaxy who has heard or seen them," he said. "That is why they are so rare, because many came to Eternia to catch them and bring them to their homes on other worlds, causing theirs population to plummet, so the intergalactic people a few years ago passed a law saying no outsider should come to Eternia and hunt these tigers for any purpose," he said.
"That doesn't sound good at all," Adam said. "I worry he may want them both now more than ever because Camile, Cringer's mate will have her cubs any day now," he said.
"I see so keep a close eye them, because to a poacher a rare animal means big money," Squonge said.
Things were pretty calm at the moment. Meanwhile a spy camera from Torax had spotted and recorded this. "Awe so the tigers will soon have cubs." Torax said. "That means even bigger money," he said. "I must capture them both," he said.
Things were pretty calm at the palace when a smoke bomb was dropped. A thick smoke was every where. "Smoke I can't see," Teela said coughing.
"What is going on?" Dree Elle said.
"This must be one of those poacher's tricks I was warned about," Squonge said. "We need to find Cringer and Camille and get them out of here," he said.
Then heard Cringer and Camile. "Hey let us go!" Camile said.
"Adam help us!" Cringer said. Yuka managed to see what was happening and headed grabbed a hold of the poacher.
"Let go of me you little pest." Torax said. "But you maybe of use,' he said pulling Yuka along to his ship and took off.
The smoke cleared. "They took Cringer and Camile," Adam said.
"Oh no!" Dree Elle cried. "Yuka, he's gone too!" she said. "The poacher must have grabbed him too when he tried to stop him," she said.
"Don't worry Dree Elle we will find your brother," Man at arms said.
"I know someone who might be able to help," Adam said and walked off. Then once he was sure he was alone he transformed into He man. He came to them. "What seems to be the problem here?" he asked.
"He man what a relief," Squonge said and filled him in.
"Don't worry will find them," He Man said.
Squonge reached into something and pulled something out. "Come out little friend time to help," Squonge said. Then a Trollan Fish appeared. "This is a Trollan Starburst fish, many Trollan Flight Fighters have trained one, this one's name is Comet," he said. Then he showed Comet a picture of Torax's ship and Torax himself. "Seek Comet seek," he said.
Comet squawked and then took off in the sky and seemed to have spotted something and gave shrill squawk and took off in a certain direction. "He sees something let's go," Squonge said.
They all followed Comet who led them to the poachers ship.
Meanwhile Yuka tied up by Torax. Little did Torax know he was working on freeing himself. He able to use a small wordless knot untying spell simply by wiggling his fingers. "These tigers will and their cubs they will have will fetch a fine price and I might even fetch a fine price for you on a different part of the black market little Trollan," Torax said.
Once he was free Yuka threw out some trick runes he keeps on hand and snaps his fingers and caused some chaos. Then he zoomed off to find Cringer and Camile he saw other animals were trapped their too. "How terrible," Yuka said. "Who would do such terrible things?" he asked.
Then he found Cringer and Camile. Camile was panting and looking scared. "I think I am going have my cubs," Camile said.
"Oh dear," Cringer said.
"That is not good," Yuka said. Yuka had set up other trick runes to try to keep Torax away from Cringer and Camile. He was keeping him busy with those and snapping his fingers. "You won't get near my friends on my watch." he said.
Meanwhile they made it to the ship. "There is and let's get inside." Teela said.
He man managed to open the door. They heard a lot of noise. "What is going on?" Dree Elle said.
"Why you little punk!" Torax said. "No one makes a fool of me," he said coming after Yuka who was using Trick rune after rune.
"You won't mess with him anymore Yuka stand back," He man said and grabbed the rope Torax used and tied him up. "You won't be taking any more animals Torax," he said.
Then Squonge placed cuffs on Torax. "That will take care of you," Squonge said.
They went to help the other animals and saw the Camile had her cubs. "There are three of them," Dree Elle said.
"So cute," Teela said.
"If it wasn't for Yuka keeping Torax away from us so he couldn't send us off or allow him to take off in his ship, I don't know if my cubs would have been born safely," Camile said.
"Yes thank you Yuka," Cringer said. "Now our cubs are safe and we can go home," he said.
"You are a hero little brother," Dree Elle said.
"Hey I am just happy I was able to help," Yuka said.
"Now let's head home," He Man said.
Squonge had Torax in custody. "Now I have to take Torax , to Warron so he can face trial," Squonge said.
"The sorceress also sent the animals back to their own home world habitats," Adam said.
"Well I got to go now and thanks for all your help," Squonge said and left.
"Yuka, I am so proud of you today little brother you really came through," Dree Elle said. Then she held him at arms length from her and looked him in the eye. "But don't ever scare me like that again!" she said.
"Yes Dree," Yuka said and hugged his sister.
Everyone had good laugh.
"Hello in today's story showed a poacher and how many animals are disappearing and become endangered," Dree Elle said. "But this isn't happening on an alien planet but it is happening on earth," she said. "Because if we don't take care of the animals we have help the ones that need help, they will be gone," she said. "So please help our animals friends," she said. "Until next time." she said.
