Chapter 26 Oracle training begins
Orko was busy at the time checking on somethings in his magic room. He was making sure his potion bottles were clean. He was making a potion that would work as a stain remover. "There we go nice and slow," Orko said. Then it came out right. "There we go all done," he said. "Now it is ready to use on some of these stains," he said. He proceed to use it on his stains. "There we go," he said.
"Hey Orko I was wondering if you had some stain remover potion I could use," Dree Elle said. "Some of my clothes and Yuka's clothes has some stains," Dree Elle said.
"I just made some," Orko said.
Then the potion was used on the other stains.
Orko was heading out to relax when Vana came up to Orko. "Vana," Orko said. "What brings you to the palace?' he asked.
"I have come to tell you it is time to begin your training," Vana said. "It will help you grow into the ringbearer you are meant to be," she said.
"Okay," Orko said.
"Just bring your wand," Vana said. "We got everything else covered," she said.
"Okay," Orko said. "Better tell the others I have to leave for some training," he said.
"Yes and you better tell them you might be gone for a couple of weeks," Vana said. "It will be a long session and they will all be long pretty much," she said.
"I understand," Orko said. Orko saw the others in the throne room. "I have to start my training with the other ringbearers so I can become the ringbearer I am meant to be, this first session will take a couple of weeks," he said.
"Then you better pack Orko," Marlena said.
"Vana told me all I should bring is my wand," Orko said. "She told me that she and the other ringbearers have everything else covered," he said.
"I see do be careful Orko," King Randor said.
"We will see you when you get back," Adam said.
"Orko I hope you do well during you training," Dree Elle said.
"I will do my best," Orko said. Then Orko made sure he just had his wand and then headed to the hut where the ringbearers lived. He made it there. "I hope I made it in time," he said.
"Ah Orko right on time," Ero Dee said.
"Yes are you ready to start?" Foosabella asked.
"I sure am," Orko said. "But I am a little nervous," he said.
"That's okay," Vana said.
"Yes nothing wrong with being nervous," Masde said. "It is easy to get nervous when you start something to help improve or something new entirely," she said.
"Okay now let's begin shall we Orko?" Azron said.
"Okay," Orko said.
They were at a creek. "Orko we are starting your training with magic pools," Azron said. "They are like chakras in humans according some beliefs I have heard," he said. "What do you know about magic pools?" he asked.
"I know there are few in my body and they let my magic flow," Orko said.
"Yes but did you know right now the magic is only flowing at partial strength in your body?" Azron said.
"What do you mean?" Orko asked.
"See these creeks flow much like how both magic and energy flow around your body," Azron said. "They allow it to flow from one point to another giving strength and other things," he said. "However life is messy business," he said.
"That's right," Foosabella said. "Things can cause the creeks to block and not flow so well," she said.
"Yes and the magic pools in our body can be blocked too by muck," Ero Dee said. "But not by actually something physical but by emotional muck," he said. "They can cause a lot of problems if we don't remove them," he said.
"Look once we clear the muck away," Vana said removing a piece of muck blocking an area of the creek.
"The energy flows better and stronger," Orko said watching.
"Yes," Masde said.
"Now we must begin," Azron said. "it will not be an easy task young Orko and all the magic pools must open in order and you need to keep at it until it is done," he said.
"Okay," Orko said. "Let's do it," he said.
They all sat in a Trollan meditation style. "The first Magic pool is at the base of the spine, it deals with the ability to survive," Ero Dee said. "Yet it is blocked by fears," he said. "What frightens you Orko?" he asked.
Orko thought about it hard. Orko saw the cosmic storm, the unnamed order, a destroying angel and unnamed one hollering. "AH!" Orko cried.
"Easy Orko, you are only seeing a vision of what fears you," Vana said.
"So it is not real," Masde told him.
"Let those fears flow away and accept that fear is part of life," Ero Dee said.
Orko took a deep breath and the fear disappeared. He saw the other ringbearers there. "Well done Orko," Azron said.
"Next we have the magic pool in the sacrum," Foosabella said. "It deals with pleasure but it blocked by guilt," she said. "What do you feel guilty about?" she asked.
Orko thought back too the time he scolded Andra for painting him with her invention. He thought back to the time he accidently dropped something with magic on Man at arms new vehicle and got yelled at. "I yelled Andra for accidently painting me with her invention, I broke one of Man at arms vehicles due to miss fire spell and made him made at me," Orko said.
"These things happen Orko," Foosabella said. "Sometimes we lash out in anger at our friends and sometimes we cause our friends anger to rise at us," she said. "But just remember it is okay to have these accidents and for our friends to have accidents," she said. "You must forgive yourself," she said.
Orko took a breath and let it out.
"Now it is time for the Magic pool that resides in the stomach," Vana said. "It deals with will power but is blocked by shame," she said. "What do you think are your biggest failures?" she asked.
Orko thought back to when Arkia tricked him into thinking she liked him just find out his weaknesses and played with his emotions. "I feel I can never feel love that way towards a girl, Arkia tricked me thinking she liked me and revealed herself as unnamed order spy and only pretend to do that to find my weakness and hurt me really bad in the heart," Orko said. "I don't know if I can ever move past that of being tricked by her and Pelvon," he said.
"Orko what happened is not your fault," Vana said. "You were tricked, many can fall for a trick that plays with the emotions," she said. "You will be fine you must understand you need to let things like that go and move on with your life," she said.
Orko took very deep breath and let it out. "Very good," Vana said. "But that one cleared less like a flowing creak and more like a fire burp from a dragon," she said laughing.
Orko wiggled his ears in amusement. "Next is the heart magic pool, it deals with love, but is blocked by heartbreak and grief," Masde said. "Lay out your heartbreak and grief in front of you," she said.
Orko saw all the girls who broke his heart. He also saw his great grandmother and his favorite magic teacher. "Yes you have had your fair share of heart break and lost ones you love Orko, but love is all around us everywhere we go and we can see it everywhere too," Masde said. "Soon you will find love that feels true and real," she said.
Orko saw visions of Dree Elle. From the time they met, the times he spent with her in medical wing, helping her settle into her room in the palace, being with her as she returned to Eternia, encouraging her after she defeats the spirit from horn of evil and much more. He even saw the love from his loved one on Eternia and how much they cared. "I now know I do love my friends here as part of my family," Orko said. "Most importantly I now realize I truly love Dree Elle and think of her as more than a friend, but I just don't know how to tell her or say it," he said.
"Don't worry that will come with time," Masde said. "It is normal to have that feeling, for now you got to sort through it and have accepted how you feel and that is the first step," she said. "You have done well at opening that magic pool," she said.
"Then next one is the magic pool in throat that helps us do magic with words and song," Ero Dee said. "It helps with truth, but is blocked by lies," he said. "The lies we tell others and the lies we tell ourselves." he said.
Orko thought back to when he got his mage emblem and all times he said the star tree might have made a mistake. Or the times he said he probably was too ordinary for it. "I felt for a long time after I got my mage emblem that the star tree made a mistake because I felt to plain and ordinary for anything like this," Orko said.
"Orko you must accept that the star tree saw something in you worthy of the oracle ring," Ero Dee said. "It did the same for us and that it is not as easy responsibility but was must take hold of it and accept it," he said.
Orko saw himself as ringbearer proudly next to He man and masters ready to protect. "I know," Orko said with a determined look in his eyes.
"Very good Orko," Ero Dee said.
"The next one is the one at the forehead," Azron said. "It deals with looking ourself and others, but is blocked by illusions," he said. "What do you think is an illusion?" he asked.
"All the planets where there are some kind of people, they maybe be of different species and races, but they all have feelings, hearts, minds of their own, free will, they do right or wrong, have families, want to make friends, and want what is best for their people," Orko said. "So we are all people of the same universe," he said.
"That's right Orko," Azron said. "Well done," he said. "Now it is time for the last one it is at the crown of the head and it deals with pure energy and magic, but is blocked by attachments," he said.
Orko saw his friends, family and Dree Elle. "How can I let them go?" Orko asked. "I love them," he said.
"Orko learning to let go mean you don't love your loved ones, it just means you can't let anything that may happen to them hold you back," Azron said. "You must keep going on even if something happens to them," he said. "You will still love them, you just can let it cloud your judgement at times in get in the way of what needs to be done," he said. "You will also have to keep putting their needs and others needs before yours," he said.
Orko felt himself smile and let things go. He remembered he still loved them and always will, he will just need to put them first more often and not let anything that may happen to him hold him back.
"Well done Orko," Azron said. "Now we must start practicing magic." he said.
Orko began to practice and his magic was not much stronger than before. He was practicing hard and he knew once he got home he would be happy to see his friends and Dree Elle again.
"Hi in today's story Orko learned somethings about love," Masde said. "He learned that love can be lost through not only the death of a loved one, but also when someone breaks off a relationship and breaks your heart." she said. "Love can be found again in true friends and family and sometime in the future with a special someone," she said. "But when you love someone you also have to let go," she said. "Letting go could mean not let something that has happened to a loved one not hold you back, it could mean saying good bye to someone who died, putting their needs first, or saying good bye to someone who has too leave," she said. "Your parents love you and one day they will have to let you go when you are all grown up so you can take off and be independent," she said. "Love is a great thing, it isn't easy but it is worth it," she said. "Until next time," she said.
