Chapter 28 To Earth
Things were going well on Eternia. Orko was training with the other ringbearers to perfect his skill and he was getting stronger as he did so. Things seemed pretty normal. There was always a look out for trouble from Skeletor and his men, the horde or the unnamed order.
He man and the masters were ready for it. Little did they know what was about to happen next.
Yuka and Damien were headed to castle grayskull to help the sorceress. They were going to helping her with cleaning up and fixing things up. "Come on Damien wait for me you are faster than me!" Yuka said.
"Sorry Yuka," Damien said.
Yuka caught up and he wasn't too thrilled about having to play catch up with Damien. They soon made it to castle grayskull. "Thank you both for your help," the sorceress said.
"Happy to help," Damien said.
"Yes I love helping," Yuka said.
"Okay now you must be careful because the magic in the castle is unpredictable and the magic gates might take you to another world if you are not careful," the sorceress said.
"Don't worry we will be careful," Yuka said. "Come on let's get started," he said.
They headed to start cleaning things up and fixing them up. "Okay that takes care of that," Damien said.
"Hey look at this magic gate," Yuka said looking at it. "It looks old and worn and the inside it is barely functioning," he said. "I think I have just what it needs to power up," he said. He took out a magic charge orb and put it inside and snapped his fingers. The gate powered up at full strength. "Looks like I got it working," he said.
"Hey let's see it," Damien said coming up and accidently bumping into Yuka causing him to fall through. "Yuka!" he said.
Yuka fell on his rear end in another world. "Where am I?" Yuka asked. "What is this place?" He asked. "This isn't Eternia or Trolla," he said. "I wonder how I am going to get back." he said.
"Hello," a 12 year old girl said. "I am Hannah what is your name?" she asked.
"I am Yuka and I am Trollan," Yuka said.
"Yes I have one of your kind who lives in the same foster home as me and it is a long story," Hannah said.
"Do you know where I am?" Yuka asked.
"Yes this is earth, in the United states of America in a small town in the state of Texas," Hannah said.
"How am I supposed to get back to Eternia now?" Yuka asked.
"Don't worry I know my foster home caregivers will be wanting to help," Hannah said. "But first how about come with me for an ice cream I am about to meet for of my friends from the foster house where I live there," she said.
"But I don't have money that will be accepted here on earth," Yuka said.
"Don't worry I have more than enough money for the both of us," Hannah said. "Now come on and follow me," she said.
Meanwhile back on Eternia and castle grayskull Damien went to the sorceress. "Sorceress Yuka disappeared through a magic gate he fixed when I bumped into him I am very sorry," Damien said.
"Don't worry Damien I will get Adam here along with Teela, Dree Elle and Orko they will want to help," the sorceress said.
Adam, Teela, Orko and Dree Elle arrived. "I know which gate it was," Damien said and lead them to the gate that Yuka had repaired.
"Where does this gate go?" Adam asked.
"This gate hasn't been working for a long time, much longer than the other gates," the sorceress said. "So I have no idea where it goes," she said. "Now you must go and find Yuka," she said. "I will reopen the gate once you find him. Just give me a call," she said.
"We will," Adam said. "Now let's find Yuka," he said.
Back on Earth Hannah took Yuka to the ice cream shop. "There Hannah is and she brought someone with her," a girl said.
"Hi Diantha, Noah and Chancor," Hannah said. "This is Yuka he is a Trollan like Chancor. Some how he ended up on earth from some place in the universe called Eternia," she said.
"So you are a Trollan like me?" Chancor asked.
"Yes I am, what are you blind?" Yuka asked. "Oops sorry my sis will get on to me for being rude like that," he said.
"It's okay and actually I am blind," Chancor said.
"That's right and he is," Noah said.
"I am also a song mage too, but do to Earth magic being missing for a long time I can't really use my magic other than levitating," Chancor said. "You will be the same way until you leave here," he said.
"Oh dear that is a problem," Yuka said.
"I have a map to where it maybe in a cave in the forest near here, but we aren't allowed to go out that far without an adult from the foster home and I doubt one will be willing to do so," Hannah said.
"True but let's get our ice cream," Diantha said.
Meanwhile Adam, Teela, Damien, Orko, and Dree Elle went through the gate and found themselves on Earth. "This must be earth it looks how my mother described it," Adam said.
"It sure is a nice place," Teela said.
"I'll say," Orko said.
They went to find Yuka. They saw a man who noticed them. "You all aren't from these parts are you?" the man asked.
"No Teela, Damien and I are from Eternia and Orko and Dree Elle are Trollans who live on Eternia but are from Trolla," Adam said.
"Ah aliens, we see them sometimes, some are not friendly and others are," the man said.
Dree Elle showed him a picture of Yuka. "This is my 12 year old younger brother Yuka have you seen him?" Dree Elle asked.
"Yes I saw him, he was with Hannah a 12 year old girl who lives in a foster home here, both of them went to the ice cream shop," the man said. "If he is with Hannah don't worry she is a fine young lady and she wouldn't hurt a fly," he said.
"Do you know how to get to this ice cream shop she was headed too?' Adam asked.
"Yes go down the street and make a left it will be on the right," the man said.
"Thank you," Adam said. So they headed that way.
They were wondering if Yuka was okay.
After finishing the ice cream they headed to the foster home where Hannah stayed with her friends. Yuka was wondering what was going to happen now.
"Hi Hannah you are back who is this?" one of the foster home workers asked.
Hannah explained whole thing. "Well until we find a way to get you home Yuka you can stay here," the foster worker said.
Meanwhile Adam and his friends went into the ice cream shop. Dree Elle showed the picture of Yuka to the shop worker.
"Him? He went with Hannah and her friends back to the foster home where she lives with those three other kids," the lady said. "They all are kids with some kind of disability," she said. Then she told them how to get there.
Once getting to the foster home they knocked on the door and a lady answered it. Dree Elle was about to show Yuka's picture when he saw her.
"Sis!" Yuka said and came up and hugged her. "I am so happy to see you, I was starting to get scared," he said.
"I know it's okay," Dree Elle said stroking his head.
"Hey," Hannah said. "I see you found your sister and friends," she said.
Then they saw Chancor. "Another Trollan," Orko said.
"Yes I am a Trollan are you a Trollan just like Yuka and his sister?" Chancor asked.
"Yes Orko is a Trollan can't you see that?" Damien asked.
"No, I can't I'm blind," Chancor answered.
"Oh I didn't know you were blind," Damien said. "Sorry for that comment," he said.
"It's okay I don't take stuff like that personally," Chancor said.
"Oh okay," Damien said.
"Now let's get you home," Dree Elle said. "We need to go back to Eternia," she said.
"There is a problem here on Earth the magic is missing and we need to bring it back," Yuka said.
"It has been gone for a long time," Hannah said. "But I found an old map, I know where it is," she said.
"I don't know if I should let the children go it could be dangerous," the lady who runs the home said.
"I know someone who will be willing to go with the children," Adam said. "I will go get him," he said. He found a place and made sure he was alone. "By the power of Grayskull!" he said holding up his sword. He turned into He man. "I have the power!" he said.
He man came up to them. "My friend Adam said you all needed help restoring Earth's magic," He man said. "I will go with the children as will my friends to keep them safe," he said.
They headed into the woods with the map Hannah had. "The cave should be right up a head." Hannah said.
They saw the cave and went inside. There were old inscriptions and such. Along with a blocked off area.
The a creature appeared and it tried to attack. He man was fighting it. "Don't worry I will keep this thing busy you guys see if you can figure out if the magic is here and free it," He man said.
Then Chancor felt some kind of energy and heard something behind a stone wall. "Hey I hear and feel something back here," Chancor said. "My senses are highly developed since I don't have my sight," he said.
Hannah felt and heard it too. "I can hear and feel it too," Hannah said. "I may not be blind like Chancor but having Autism can make all five senses sharp." she said. "There is something back here it feels like an energy." she said.
"This magical energy I am feeling and hearing," Chancor said. "I remember how it feels due to being a magical creature," he said.
Dree Elle, Yuka and Orko touched the wall Chancor was touching. "It is magic, this is magic of this planet we got to release it so earth can have it's magic again," Orko said. "If I just focus enough I can use my mage emblem to do what I want it too," he said and used his emblem to create absorbing ring to take the boulder blocking the way. Then once boulder was removed Orko sealed the ring shut causing it to crush the rock into dust.
The magic flowed out of the hole and give it back to all the places on earth. It zoomed all over the planet and it destroyed the creature He man was fighting.
Orko found something on the ground it was part of an unnamed order cloak. "This creature was made by the unnamed order," Orko said. "So they had something to do with this," he said.
"Maybe now that the magic is back we can head back to Eternia." He man said.
Hannah, Noah, Diantha and Chancor were feeling kind of sad to see them leave. "I know you four want to go," the lady said. "You can go but Adam will have to talk with his folks and people of Eternia into letting you go with him," she said.
Adam did talk to his parents and the other masters of the universe. They were willing to let Hannah and her friends come to Eternia and live there.
Ram man adopted Diantha he found her to be sweet and relatable despite needing hearing aids. Stratos adopted Noah despite him needing having ADHD and having no wings. He saw potential in the boy. The king and queen adopted Hannah because they thought she would be a fine addition to the family. Chancor was wondering if anyone would want him. Ero Dee decided to take in the young blind song mage. He was inspired that despite not being able to see he was determined to do his best and live normally.
"This great we all have families now," Hannah said.
"It sure is great," Diantha said.
"Yes it is," Noah said.
"I couldn't agree more," Chancor said.
Everyone laughed with great joy.
"Hi in today's story you saw many things how Hannah and her three friends managed to find homes and families. You also saw how despite having disabilities Hannah and her friends proved they could do things." Damien said. "Just because someone has a disability it doesn't define them, they can be just as capable as you," he said. "Until next time." he said.
