Chapter 29 Two Trollan Hearts

Orko was remembering that he realized he loved Dree Elle. He gotten to know her pretty well. He found many things about her charming. He found her beautiful green eyes and soft blonde hair to be very lovely. He also loved her beautiful singing. She was very kind, honest, caring and smart. He found it easy to confide in her about things he wanted to talk about but found it hard to say to his other friends. He knew she was very special in many ways. There were many reasons why he loved her. He was wondering when would be a good time to tell her.

Orko was thinking about things and King Randor saw him. "Hello Orko," King Randor said.

"Oh hello, King Randor," Orko said.

"You're in love aren't you Orko?" King Randor asked.

"What makes you think that?" Orko asked him.

"You have been sighing a lot lately," King Randor said. "Is your mind on someone special?" he asked.

"Well I just realized my feelings for Dree Elle and I just don't know how to tell her," Orko said. "But given my history with girls I have dated breaking my heart, I just don't know how I can take that chance," he said.

"I see," King Randor said. "You are afraid of getting your heart broken again," he said.

"Yes, and I think more of the fear stems from the fact the last girl who broke my heart also betrayed me," Orko said. "She was a member of the unnamed order and was spying on me and only pretending to have affection for me to learn my weaknesses, and then once she revealed herself a bit later she said somethings and really broke my heart feel the sting of betrayal," he said.

"I see having that happen to you can be hard," King Randor said. "But you can take your time telling her how you feel," he said. "It took me time to tell Marlena how I felt when she first came here," he said. "So take your time and find a good time to tell her," he told him.

"I think I will," Orko said. "Thanks for the talk," he said.

"Anytime Orko, that is what friends are for," King Randor said.

Orko went to go practice his tricks in the garden. Dree Elle saw him there from the window. She felt herself smile behind her veil when she saw him. She loved many things about Orko. She loves his bright golden eyes. They he would wiggle his ears when he would get excited or something. He was just so expressive with his ears to help show emotion. It was kind of cute. She loved his faith and hope too. He was very kind, loving, generous and had a big heart. He was even a hard worker. She got to know him after he rescued her from the horde on Etheryia. He was amazing and was good friend. She loved Orko for many reasons. She was wondering when she should tell Orko about her feelings.

"Hey there Dree Elle," Queen Marlena said.

"Oh Queen Marlena you startled me," Dree Elle said jumping.

"Sorry," Queen Marlena said. "I notice you have feelings for Orko," she said.

"I uh.." Dree Elle said.

"I see how you make eyes at him," Queen Marlena said.

"Okay I do love Orko," Dree Elle said. "I just don't know how to tell him how I feel or when," she said. "Orko told me that he had many girls break his heart and that last one was pretty bad, because she not only broke his heart but also betrayed him," she said. "She was a unnamed order member who was working as a spy and tricked Orko to learn his weaknesses and said terrible things to him once she revealed herself of what she was too him," she said. "It is still a sore spot for him, so I feel like he probably isn't ready for that kind of thing even though it has been years," she said.

"I understand just take your time and find a time that is good to tell him," Queen Marlena said. "He might accept your feelings but may not feel the same way because either he is not ready or doesn't think of you that way, but he might reject your feelings and claim he is not ready, or he may return feelings, so it can go many ways." she said.

"I know," Dree Elle said. She wondered if Orko would like some one on one time. So she headed to the garden where Orko was. "Hey Orko," she said.

"Hello Dree Elle," Orko said. "I have been practicing some tricks," he said.

"I saw them from the window," Dree Elle said.

Orko was wondering if Dree Elle would like some time that was just him and her because he was thinking about telling her how felt. Because he had been thinking about his feelings for a long time. He had been thinking about her a lot during those training sessions with the other ringbearers.

"So Dree Elle would you like to head out for a while just you and me?" Orko asked.

"Sure," Dree Elle said.

So they left the palace to see things in Eternia. "It sure is lovely out here," Dree Elle said seeing the flowers.

"Yes the flowers are lovely," Orko said and he picked one and gave it to Dree Elle.

"How lovely," Dree Elle said smelling it. Then she placed it in her hat by her ear. "Look at that," she said pointing. It was a river full of jumping fish. "I am amazed that the fish here swim instead of fly like back home on Trolla," she said.

"Yes I remember when I first found that out," Orko said. "Boy was everyone surprised when I told everyone when I first saw an Eternian fish when ask I where it's wings were and how could if fly like that," he said. "But they seems surprised when I told them back on Trolla it's the fish the fly through the air and the birds who swim," he said. "Yes the look was priceless," he said.

"Yes I bet they were surprised to find that out," Dree Elle stated. "But our world is different from theirs in many ways," she said. "All of these flowers and trees are different," she said. "The grass back home is orange while it is green here," she said.

"That's true," Orko said. "Here the trees roots are under the ground and not in the air like Trolla," he said. "You know seeing other worlds makes me realize all though other worlds are different it doesn't mean that the people there are strange, all though they have their differences they all are like us in many ways," he said.

"I agree with that, I am seeing that too," Dree Elle said. "It sure is lovely to see these birds flying around and singing," she said. "I love hearing their pretty voices," she said. "There are also all kinds of other animals too," she said. "It is a truly amazing place," she said.

"I know," Orko said. "I have been here for nine years and keep finding out things about Eternia and things to love about it," he said. "Still sometimes I do wish I could spend time on Trolla again to be honest," he said. "But still I am needed here," he said.

"That's true and I feel I am needed here," Dree Elle said. Then she saw something. "Hey what is that over there?" she asked pointing.

It was Beastman and Trapjaw. "It's Beast Man and Trapjaw what are those two up to?" Orko asked watching. "I wonder what they are doing," he said.

"Well let's watch and find out," Dree Elle said.

Orko and Dree Elle were watching the two villains. "This will surely ruin the Autumn Festival that begins tonight," Beast man said. "This creature will cause a lot of chaos and then we will take the palace," he said.

"Yeah right," Trapjaw said.

Orko saw the creature and saw how big it was it was Karok. "It's Karok those creatures can be very destructive," Orko said.

"Yes we got to warn the others," Dree Elle said.

"Agreed," Orko said. Then he bumped something caused nuts to fall from the tree.

"Someone's watching us," Beastman said.

"It's those Trollans Orko and Dree Elle," Trapjaw said. "This lasso launcher oughta to grabbed them.

"Let's get out of here!" Orko said.

"Yes," Dree Elle said.

Then Orko was wrapped in the lasso and taken captive. "Orko!" Dree Elle said.

"Dree Elle go for help! Go!" Orko yelled.

Dree Elle took off quickly to get help. Dree Elle made it back to the palace and was in a rush. She found Adam, Teela and Man at arms in the lab. "Adam! Teela! Man at arms! Help!" Dree Elle said.

"Dree Elle what's wrong?" Adam asked.

"It's Orko, Beastman and Trapjaw captured him after the two of us found out they were going to you Karok to destroy the Autumn festival and take the palace," Dree Elle said. "He told me get help," she said.

"We better help Orko," Adam said.

"Yes and we need to stop Beast man and Trapjaw," Man at arms said.

"We can't let the ruin the start of the Autumn festival tonight, nor can we let them take over the palace," Teela said.

"Sounds like a job for He man," Adam said.

"I agree to that," Teela said.

"Yes and he better hurry the sun is about to go down," Man at arms said.

"You're right," Adam said. "By the power of Grayskull," he said holding his sword up. He transformed into He man. "I have the power!" he said. Then Cringer turned into Battle cat. "Let's go we need to help Orko and stop Beast man and Trapjaw." he said.

Meanwhile Beast man and Trapjaw were headed towards the kingdom. Then they saw He Man, Teela, Man at arms and Dree Elle. "You are not ruining the festival or taking the palace." He man said.

"Look who we got here He man your little friend," Beast man said showing Orko who was all tied up.

"Let Orko go," Teela said.

"Attack my pet," Beast man said. Karok went on the attack. He man was trying to fight it and keep it back and Teela was handling Trapjaw. Man at arms had his hands full with Beastman.

Dree Elle then did a small harmony to free Orko from being tied up. "Thanks Dree Elle," Orko said.

Beastman and Trapjaw were thrown into each other. The Karok roared and growl was still on the attack. "I have feeling that creature doesn't like the way Beast man treats it," Dree Elle said. "See how it coils back from him when he approaches and he carries a whip when near it?" she asked.

"Yes I see that," Orko said.

"Maybe I can sing to it to help it break Beast man's control and think for itself," Dree Elle said."Creature have hope, creature take heart, don't let fear bring you down, use the time to think what right and do not fear the horrors of night,"she sang."Think for yourself, don't be forced to do wrong, listen to love's own song,"she sang."Let storm clouds fade, let your mind be calm, let the trueness of your heart come right out,"she sang."Let true nature take hold, don't be forced to wrong, listen to love's own song,"she sang.

The creature listened to Dree Elle's song and turned on Beast man. "No my control on the creature is broke," Beast man said. "Let's get out of here," he said.

"I knew this was a bad idea you had!" Trapjaw said.

"My idea?" Beast man asked.

"Yes it was!" Trapjaw said as the two of them ran for it.

"Okay that takes care of those two," He man said. "Are you alright Orko?" he asked.

"Yes I am fine," Orko said. "Dree Elle you saved the day with your song," he said.

"I am just glad I managed to convince the creature to break free from hold and show it's true nature," Dree Elle said.

The Karok cried and then took off. "It's going home now," Man at arms said. "Now it might be able to live its life in peace now." he said.

"That would be a good thing too," Teela said.

"Now I think we have a festival to get too," He man said.

"Yes we do," Orko said. "I am looking forward to it." he said.

"Me too this my first Autumn festival," Dree Elle said.

"Then let's go," Teela said.

He man soon became Adam again and things were calm. The festival was going well. Everyone was celebrating and having fun. There were games and food. "Things are quite amazing here tonight," Dree Elle said.

"Yes it is," Orko said.

Then the two of them went to a quiet hill area to watch the fireworks. Then Dree Elle looked at Orko as the fireworks were going off. "Orko, I have something to say to you," Dree Elle said.

"Oh what is it?" Orko asked.

"Orko, I love you," Dree Elle said admitting her feelings and waited to see how Orko would react. Then Orko took Dree Elle's hand into his.

"I love you too Dree Elle," Orko said. Then the leaned their sides together with their heads touch watching the fireworks.

"Hi in today's story you saw how sometimes it can be hard to admit feelings," Dree Elle said. "Admitting any kind of feelings can be hard, either good or bad," she said. "But don't worry it is normal," she said. "Sometimes it helps to talk about it right away and other times take the time to sort your feelings before you talk about it," she said. "You just got to know about the feelings and whether or not they are feelings about something negative or positive," she said. "Things that are negative it helps to take about it straight away sometimes if it might be dangerous," she said. "But other times for things that are negative like grief or positive like having a crush on someone you can take your time, because it can help if you sort out your feelings first and then talk," she said. "It just depends on the situation and don't worry about feelings because they are normal things to have," she said. "Bye now!" she said.
