Chapter 38 Trollan Wedding Part 1

Things were starting to get exciting. Because Orko and Dree Elle's wedding was coming up. It was very exciting indeed. Everyone was looking forward to it. Orko had gone into the woods to the hut where the ringbearers reside to ask them to come to the wedding. They were happy to be invited. Orko was headed on his way back when he ran into something and no one knew what was going to come next.

'Orko' returned to the palace to continue the wedding planning. The other Trollans had a feeling some kind of threat. So Dree Elle sang a song spell of protection to create a barrier. "That should do it," Dree Elle said. "I just have to remember to keep singing that song every once and a while," she said.

So the wedding planning continued. Even Adora and some of her friends were helping with it. They came from Etheryia to help and see the wedding of their good friend.

"Hard to believe Orko is getting married," Adam said.

"Yes it is very exciting," Teela said.

They saw Orko headed down the hall. Adam noticed his scar on his arm wasn't there. He knew how large Orko's scar was an it went down to the small finger on his left hand. "Hey Orko where is your scar?" Adam asked.

"I covered it up with make up, I don't want everyone to see a scar on my wedding day," Orko said in a rude voice.

"I wonder what that was all about?" Adam asked. "Orko is normally proud of his scar," he said.

Orko wasn't doing his tricks for the king and queen. "Hey Orko aren't you going to do any tricks?" Adam asked.

"No I don't have the time," Orko said with a snap.

"Son, Orko probably is really focused on getting his wedding with Dree Elle together so he probably has other things on his mind than entertaining us," King Randor said. "He will probably have more time for it, once the wedding is over and he returns from the honeymoon," he said.

"I guess," Adam said.

The others were busy helping out. Man E Faces was having the orchestra that helps with his performances to do the music for the wedding. Orko asked him when he told him about his engagement if he could.

"Okay all of you this is for Orko's wedding so we better make it good," Man E Faces said. "After all he helps so much," he said.

"We will," the orchestra said.

While chef Alan was busy making hors d'oeuvres. "Hello Orko," Chef Alan said.

"Hi Orko," Adam said. Adam was asked by Orko when the wedding planning started after the engagement to make sure things go as smoothly as possible. In other words to make sure everything is on the list and to see to it that everything is organized. He took this job seriously.

"Hey," Orko said.

"Dree Elle already tried the appetizers for the reception, I hope you like them too," Chef Alan said.

Orko tasted them and looked Alan. "Very good," Orko said.

"I hope you will take a few then," Alan said with a smile handing him a bag.

Then when Alan wasn't looking Orko threw them away. Adam found it hard to believe, Orko normally doesn't lie or act like that. "How weird," Adam said.

Adam approached Orko. "Hey Orko how about doing that trick I always loved?" Adam asked.

"What trick?" Orko asked.

"You know which one, the one that always made me smile no matter what?" Adam said.

"I don't remember," Orko said and left to another part of the palace.

"What is with him?' Adam asked. "He hasn't been acting normally at all," he said to himself.

Man at arms was working on some special things for the wedding. Orko looked and simply shrugged. Adam was finding it really weird.

Andra and Damien were help with the reception. "Well what do you think?" Damien asked.

"Nice if it was for a summer dance party instead of a wedding," Orko grouched.

"That was a bit snippy," Adam said to himself.

Adam was sitting with the others. "Guys, Orko is acting a bit odd," Adam said.

"What do you mean?" Teela asked.

"He is being totally rude and mean," Adam said. "it's not like him to act that way," he said.

"Maybe he is just a little bit stressed from the wedding planning," Man at arms said. "After all a wedding is not an easy thing to put together," he said. "So in other words he has a lot of work to do," he said.

"Maybe but he said he liked Chef Alan's food and then when Alan wasn't looking he threw the food he was given away," Adam said.

"He probably didn't want to hurt Alan's feelings," Andra said.

"But he's being rude and mean to everybody," Adam said.

"He did say one of violin players, playing of his instrument was off," Man E Faces said.

"See," Adam said.

"But he was right, he had it out of tune," Man E Faces said.

"Maybe you are having hard time accepting what is happening Adam, after all you are very close to Orko," Man at arms said.

Adam went to talk to Orko and Dree Elle. He saw Orko and Dree Elle in another room. "I told you I don't want to see you wearing that," Orko said.

"But this was my grandmother's," Dree Elle said. Then she harmonized and started to cough and hold her throat.

"Oh do you have sore throat again?" Orko asked her. Then green energy surrounded Dree Elle and her eyes glowed green and rolled around. Then she stood up and looked at Orko in a dazed state. "There is that more like it?" he asked. Then she nodded.

Adam was very suspicious indeed.

Right now was just the rehearsal of the big event. "Guys something's not right with Orko!" Adam said bursting in. "Orko has been nothing but mean and rude! And he did something to Dree Elle and made her eyes all crazy," he said. "Orko is not being himself and is acting like monster," he said.

"What is with you I thought were friends," Orko said rushing out of the room.

"Adam that was uncalled for," King Randor said.

"Yes it was," Dree Elle said. "Orko has been stressed out with the wedding planning by doing most of it while I do the protection son," she said. "I have been getting sore throats, and he has been using that magic to heal me," she said. "You know if you are going to act this way don't bother showing up." she said leaving.

"Shame on you son," King Randor said leaving.

"We raised you better," Queen Marlena said following.

The rest left the room leaving Adam alone. Adam sat on the steps and cried. He saw Orko approach who land his hand on his shoulder. "I am so sorry," Adam said to Orko.

Then Orko's eyes flashed red. "You will be!" Orko said and did some magic and Adam disappeared.
