Death Anniversary: Part Two

~~~~~~~~~~Kara arrived back home, she had taken the day off so she could be there for Oliver, William, and Mia if they needed her she walked deeper into the house, she saw Evelyn sitting there between William and Mia's door.

"Hey," Kara said softly catching Evelyn's attention "How long have they been in there?" she asked.

"William's locked himself in his room hasn't come out all morning he just stopped crying," Evelyn told her "Oliver went into Mia's room comforted her as she cried, I think she fell asleep because she stopped crying a few minutes ago." Evelyn added.

"Where's Tommy?" Kara asked.

"He's in his playpen playing with his toys while watching Mickey Mouse" Evelyn told her.

"Okay," Kara nodded "I'm guessing you've been out since I left?" Evelyn nodded "Go take a shower and eat some breakfast, I'll check on William then Oliver and Mia," Kara told her.

"I'm..." Evelyn stopped when Kara gave her a look "Okay," the teenager stood up and walked off.

Kara walked over to William's door knocking on it "William?" she said his name softly "Will? Is it okay if I come him?" she asked.

She knew he was up by the sound of his heartbeat, it's usually low and calm when all of the kids and Oliver are asleep but his heart was beating a little fast but not enough to make her even more concerned.

She heard him move towards the door as he unlocked the door then opened it, he eyes widened at his appearance, his eyes bloodshot red, his hair messy as if he had been locked up in his room for weeks, bags under his usually brightness blue eyes but all you could see and sadness.

Kara took the boy who was an inch taller than her into her arms, William instantly fell into Kara's embrace more tears escaping his eyes.

"Oh Will," Kara said as she led William back into his room sitting on his bed as he laid his head into her lap "It'll be okay," she told him playing with his hair.

Mia had fallen asleep minutes ago, Oliver laid there with her as she clung to his shirt tight, but her grip released as she turned away from him.

Oliver slowly removed his arms from around his daughter giving her a kiss on the forehead then leaving the room quietly shutting the door.

He went over to Williams room, ready to knock when his finger opened the door slightly showing William asleep in Kara's lap.

Oliver opened the door even more catching Kara's attention, she looked up at her husband frowned at his eyes they were also red.

Kara gave her husband a sad frown, she gently moved William's head off of her lap seeing as the boy was asleep, she stood up walking over to the door shutting it as she and Oliver headed towards their bedroom.

"How are you doing?" Kara asked him shutting the door.

"I'm okay," Oliver nodded.

"Ollie..."

"No honestly," Oliver told her "I'm doing okay," he said "I'm thinking about taking William and Mia to Felicity's grave and to Star City for the weekend."

"I think that's a good idea," Kara told him "It's good for themandyou," Kara said.

"Kara," Oliver sighed sitting on to their bed.

"Your okay, I know," Kara put her hands up "Oliver, I'm not one of those wives who just makes you and your children stop grieving their dead mother and your dead wife," Kara told him "She was your first love, you gave the right to grieve with your kids," she added "and you don't have to feel guilty for still loving and grieving her just because we're married," she told him.

Oliver stared at her, they had never spoke about Felicity's death, Oliver and the kids just sat and talked about it with him helping them grieve and no one helping him, he'd shut Kara out on most days whenever she tried to talk and help him with it, so she just left it alone seeing as they were somewhat okay until today.

"Oliver," she grabbed hold of his hands as she stood between his legs "Take the kids to Star City, let them visit Felicity's grave along with Samantha's," Kara said to him "We'll be here when you three get back."

"Call if you need anything?" Oliver said.

"I promise."

Oliver pulled Kara onto his lap giving her a loving kiss "I am very thankful to end up with you," muttered against her lips "I love you."

"I love you too," Kara smiled at him.

Unknown Warehouse

"Are you sure this is the right thing?" Hank Henshaw asked Lillian, Lex, and Rhea.

"Are you questioning our motives?" Lex turned towards the man.

"Yeah I am," Hank stood up towards Lex "Because last time I checked, your family doesn't like aliens and now both you and your mother are working with one," the cyborgs eyes drifted towards Rhea "One who tried to take over this very city."

"Lots of aliens have tried to take over this city," Rhea spoke "and yes this is the right thing," she smirked turning back towards the tank where the body laid "This arrival of them finding her will be the end of the Kryptonian's happiness," she said.

"It would ruin her life," Lillian spoke "Making her and her loved ones weak and fragile," she smirked.

"Meaning she'll be easy to kill." Lex smirked along the three woman.
