So I've realized that at this point these last few chapters haven't been about Astra but we'll get back on track soon...
Felicity Smoak: Part One
National City; The DEO
Kara paced in front of the med bay where Felicity lay still unconscious, she was worried of what she was going to tell Oliver.
Rao. How was she going to tell her husband that his wife or ex-wife who's beendeadforsixyears was back and alive, with one of their teammates saying she was a threat.
Felicity Smoak was a threat to her and her team, friends, and family. Try telling Oliver that.
"Kara," Evelyn's voice brought her out of her thoughts, Kara turned to her adoptive daughter who was carrying a sleeping Tommy "Alex said that she'll take us home," Evelyn told her.
"Okay," Kara smiled and nodded.
"Have you called Oliver?" Evelyn asked Kara shook her head pulling out her phone "I have multiple miss calls from Oliver, William, and Mia.
"Same," Kara spoke "I hope nothing went wrong."
"Wrong like his wife and the mother of his child coming back to life?" Evelyn asked "What are you going to tell him? Them?"
"I don't know," Kara sighed "But I'm having Winn run test on Felicity while she's unconscious and once she wakes up," she said "This isn't the first to be dead and then be found at Cadmus."
"She is also part of Team Arrow," Evelyn said "Those people are like immortal...well besides..." Evelyn's voice got low.
Kara nodded "I'll see you when I get home," Kara said "I won't be long."
Evelyn nodded and walked off, Kara let out a sigh dialing Oliver's numbers.
Star City; Thea's apartment
Oliver was laying on the couch of Thea's apartment, it was a two bedroom apartment so he let William and Mia have the guest bedroom while he slept on the couch.
He jumped up at the sound of his phone ringing.
"Hello?" He asked in a groggy voice.
"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you,"he hear Kara's voice.
"No you didn't wake me."
"Lair."
Both chuckled.
Kara smiled as she stood in front of the glass watching Felicity as she rested and Winn finishing up the test.
"We've been calling and texting you and the team all day,"Oliver said"Is everything okay?"
Kara held her breath for a moment, she had been dreading whether she should tell Oliver over the phone or in person.
"Babe?"
"Hmm?" she snapped of her thoughts "Oh...Yeah..." Kara replied "We just were at an Cadmus warehouse."
"What?"Oliver questioned"What happened to you calling me if something happened?"
Kara sighed turning away from the glass window.
"Nothing happened Ollie," Kara said "We teamed up with the Legionnaires and found this abandoned warehouse used by Cadmus."
"Wait...Mon-El's team?"Oliver questioned"Who was watching Astra?"
"Mon-El," Kara said "It was Imra who contacted us," she told him "He was having a little father-daughter time," she froze "Sorry I didn't..."
Oliver's heart broke hearing thathisdaughter was havingfather-daughtertime with the man who abandoned her before she was born he soon heard Kara began to apologize.
"Kara it's fine," Oliver said "He's her father he deserves some time with alone time with her."
"He does, but I didn't mean to put it like that Ollie."
"Baby, it's fine truly," Oliver said "Listen you get some sleep I'll see on Sunday?"
"Yeah. Okay."
"Good." Oliver smiled "Love you."
"Love you too."
It was now Sunday, Kara woke up, and made her way to the kitchen to make breakfast.
She passed Evelyn's bedroom knocking on the girls door, "Evelyn? You up?" Kara asked.
"Yeah!" Evelyn said from the inside of the room "Just getting dressed!"
"Okay, I'm about to start breakfast."
"Cool!"
Kara made her way to the kitchen and began to make breakfast. Once she had finished she heard Oliver's car pull into driveway.
Evelyn came into the kitchen "Their back," Evelyn told Kara "Are you going to tell him?"
"Not yet," Kara shook her head "I want to go over every test possible before I tell them and make sure she isn't working with Cadmus," Evelyn nodded.
"We're home!" Oliver announced as they walked through the door dropping their bags "Something smells good," he walked into the kitchen smiling at Kara and Evelyn.
"I made breakfast," Kara smiled at the three "You guys hungry?" she asked.
"No," Mia shook her head "We ate before getting on the road."
Kara nodded. "When are you guys going to get Astra?" William asked.
"I...actually I have to go into the DEO for most of the day so Mon-El will be dropping her off," Kara told them.
William and Mia nodded "We'll be in our rooms," Mia told them as she and Williams walked towards their rooms.
Evelyn had fixed her plate and made her way to the table, Oliver looked between his daughter and wife "Did something happen?" he asked.
"Nothing," Evelyn shook her head "I went into the field last night," she told him.
"What? That's awesome!" Oliver chuckled going to sit next Evelyn "Was the Cadmus mission Kara went on?" he asked.
"Yeah," Evelyn nodded her head, Kara came in with her plate and sat on the other side of Evelyn.
"Well I'm to go shower," Oliver stood up and grabbed his bag.
Both women nodded.
"Kara we...you have to tell him soon" Evelyn said.
"I know," Kara nodded "I just hope Winn finishes those test soon."
Oliver was stepped out the shower as Kara was entering the room. "You're still here?" Oliver asked "I thought you would have left by now."
"I still have to get dressed," Kara told him starting to go through her drawers for underclothes when she felt Oliver press up against her back.
"If I knew you were going to shower I would have waited," he whispered in her ear.
Kara sighed leaning into his chest "I would have loved that very much," she told him "How was your trip?" she asked him moving away from his to the closet.
"It was good," Oliver smiled "The kids got what they wanted to say to Felicity and I got what I wanted to say," Oliver noticed how Kara tensed at Felicity's name.
"Okay what happened while we were gone?" Oliver asked pulling his pants up Kara quietly shook her head walking out the closet with her clothes "Really? Because you and Evelyn have been tensed and quite since we walked through the door."
"Oliver," Kara stopped at the bathroom door turning for face her husband "What would you do if Felicity came back to life?" she asked and Oliver eyed her trying to figure out the meaning of the question.
"I'm sorry what..?"
"If Felicity came back to life knocking on our door what would be your reaction?"
"Baby, I'm not understanding the question" Oliver told her.
"Never mind," Kara shook her head as her phone buzzed, she picked it up seeing it was a text from Winn telling her that Felicity was awake she quickly replied and sat her phone down "I have to hurry they need me at the DEO." She walked in the bathroom quickly taking a shower using her powers then drying off and getting dressed.
Kara came out kissing Oliver goodbye then leaving.
Kara landed on the balcony in her new suit "Alex, where's Winn?" she asked her sister.
"In the med bay with Felicity," Alex replied "She's asking for you."
"Me?" Kara was confused and Alex nodded. Kara made her way to the med bay and saw Felicity sitting on the medical bed while Winn ran more tests, "Hi Felicity," Kara made her presences aware of the two.
"Hi," Felicity said, she studied Kara then stopped at the ring, it looked just as the one Oliver had given her on their wedding day but it wasn't, Kara noticed where the blonde's eyed where focused on and tried to hide her hand behind her back "It's okay," Felicity said "I know you and Oliver are married."
Winn and Kara looked at the woman in shock "I watch it all," Felicity told them "I watched your wedding."
"What do you mean?" Kara asked.
Felicity opened her mouth but Winn cut her off. "I'm done with the tests now all we have to do is wait on the results," he told them.
Kara nodded as Winn past her with his tablet. "Why all the tests?" Felicity asked.
"Sorry," Kara apologized "We just have some problems with finding dead loved ones with Cadmus," she told Felicity who nodded understanding "So what do you mean you watched our wedding?"
"When I died I woke up in a strange room and ever since then I have watched what happened in Oliver's life along with Mia and William's," Felicity explained "By the way cute kids, Tommy and Astra."
"Thanks," Kara nodded, she suddenly became uncomfortable with the news of someone especially Cadmus watching over her life.
"Kara," Alex came into the room instantly feeling the tension "Supergirl is needed."
Kara nodded "Get some rest Felicity," Kara said to the woman before walking off.
It took minutes to take out the bank robbers putting them all in prison Kara made her way back to the DEO, she walked up behind Winn "Got anything else I need to handle as Supergirl?" she asked the techie.
"Uh...Nope."
"Is Felicity's test in?"
"Nope," Winn shook his head "But uh..."
"Okay, I'm going to go check on her."
"Okay," Winn nodded.
Kara made her way towards the mad bay, she froze once she saw Oliver with Felicity talking as he held her hand while smiling, she took a moment before knocking on the window catching both of their attentions.
Oliver looked up at Kara quickly letting go of Felicity's hand, he stared at Kara with his smile fading and a look in his eyes that Kara couldn't quite understand.
"Hi," she said quietly "I just came to check on you..." she told Felicity.
"I'm doing okay," Felicity smiled at Kara.
"That's good," Kara nodded she looked over at Oliver who stared at her with icy eyes "I'll leave you two to talk..." she said before walking off.
"I'll be back," Oliver told Felicity who nodded he walked out the med bay seeing Kara halfway down the hall already, he chased after "Kara!" he called her name making her stop to turn towards he quickly caught up to her "We have to talk," he whispered to her.
"Okay," Kara nodded.
Kara led Oliver to a bunkroom and Oliver shut the door behind them.
"Where you going to tell me?" Oliver askes instantly.
"Oliver..."
"WHERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME MY WIFE WAS STILL ALIVE?!" Oliver's voice raised once she didn't his question, Kara flinched at the loudness of his voice.
"Yes," Kara responded quietly.
"When?"
"Once the results of the tests came back."
"Tests?" Oliver questioned "What tests?"
Kara was silent she stared at Oliver as he paced anger all over his face, she had never seen him this angry especially not with her, he had never raised his voice at her.
"KARA WHAT FUCKING TESTS?"
"To make sure Cadmus didn't do anything to her," Oliver just stared at her in disbelief "Oliver...it's happened before! With Jeremiah!"
"THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" Oliver shouted.
"IT DOES IF SHE IS A THREAT TO MY FAMILY!" Kara yelled back for some reason tears were slipping out of her eyes.
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT FELICITY IS NOT A THREAT!"
"Oliver it's been six years since Felicity died!" Kara lowered the shouting "That's enough time for Cadmus to do whatever they needed to do!"
Oliver opened his mouth but Winn came in interrupting them, "Sorry to come between this screaming matches," Winn said "Kara, Felicity's tests results are back."
Kara eyes watched Oliver as she walked over to Winn, her husband just stood there.
"Winn are you positive?" Kara took the tablet from the techies hands.
"What is it?" Oliver asked.
"Her cancer is gone," Kara told Oliver "But there's kryptonian DNA running in her system."
"What...?" Oliver walked over and took the tablet from Kara's hands.
"Do I need to run more tests?"
"No!" Oliver answered before Kara "You've put her under enough tests today," Oliver told him "Let her rest."
Winn turned to Kara who nodded respecting Oliver's decision, he is Felicity's husband after all.
"Oh you got a call from Mon-El by the way," Winn handed her phone "He said something of his car braking down so you'll have to go get Astra."
"Great," Kara sighed.
"I'll drive you," Oliver said walking out the room before anyone could say anything.
"You guys okay?" Winn asked his friend.
"Hopefully," Kara said changing out of her super suite pressing her chest three times before walking out.
So that happened...there might be some Kariver angst these next few...
