Chapter 44 Granamyr's grandson

Today someone came to the palace. It was a dragon. Adam and others knew this Dragon. It was Tashmar, he was Granamyr's grandson. "Hello Tashmar we are happy to see you again," Damien said.

"I am happy to see my friends too," Tashmar said.

"Well what brings you to the palace?" Adam asked.

"I thought I would like to talk and play with my friends," Tashmar said.

"Hello I am Yuka," Yuka said.

"My name is Hannah," Hannah said.

"Nice to meet you both," Tashmar said. "Hello Dree Elle," he said when he saw Dree Elle. "Where is Orko?" He asked.

"He is with the other ringbearers at the moment," Dree Elle said. "Since now he is fully realized and is Azron's successor he has a lot more to learn and he also is discussing things with them and those on Trolla with them," she said. "Just some of his duties he now has," she said.

"I heard from my grandfather that you are going to have a baby," Tashmar said.

"Yes I am," Dree Elle said. "The baby will be here in about four months," she said. "We are still getting things ready for the baby," she said.

"Hey I got a new throwing disk want to play?" Damien asked.

"Sure," Tashmar said.

"Can I play too?" Yuka asked.

"Sure," Damien said. "What about you Hannah?" He asked.

"Maybe for a little while," Hannah said. Hannah didn't want to admit that she had a tummy ache.

So all four of them went out to play. They were having a lot of fun. "I am going to take a break," Hannah said going to sit down.

"Let's get back to the game," Yuka said.

At the hut of the ringbearers things were going smoothly with a discussion. "It is good to hear that explorers are now getting ready to leave Trolla and head to far away planets away from our part of the universe. Now new friends can be made and we can fix Trolla's honor and reputation," Orko said.

"Yes that is very good," Vana said.

"It is good, some are going with more than one fellow Trollan to watch the other's back, just in case while exploring they run into Danger," Za-gras said. "Well now that discussion is complete we have other things to handle on Trolla," he said. "We will contact you soon," he said and hung up.

"Those meetings with the overlords and crimson council are long and complicated a lot of the time," Vana said.

"They are but they must be done," Foosabella said.

"I am glad it is over and I can go home," Orko said. "You know I told you that Dree Elle my wife is going to have a baby and even though the birth is months away I worry still," he said.

"That is understandable," Masde said. "My husband Leber got all worried and fussy when I was pregnant." She said. "It is sign you really do love her," she said.

Then the communication orb lit up. "We are getting a call," Ero Dee said.

Foosabella picked up the call and Granamyr's face appeared. "Hello Granamyr," Orko said.

"How are you my old friend?" Azron asked.

"Not so good," Granamyr said. "Have you seen my grandson Tashmar?" He asked.

"No we haven't," Vana said.

"Is something wrong?" Masde asked.

"Yes, you see he ran away from home," Granamyr said. "I have been worried sick," he said.

"I will go to the palace and see if he's there," Orko said.

"I will check the mountains," Foosabella said.

"I will check the forest," Ero Dee said.

"I will check the towns," Vana said.

"I will check the country side," Masde said.

"I will check the coast," Azron said.

The ringbearers headed out.

After a bit at the palace Tashmar and the others stopped playing. Tashmar was sitting in the throne room with everyone else.

Then Orko came in and saw Tashmar. "Tashmar there you are," Orko said. "You know the ringbearers are looking for you?" He asked.

"I uh," Tashmar said.

"What is going on?" Teela asked.

"Why do you sound upset Orko?" Dree Elle asked.

"Is something wrong?" Adam asked.

"Granamyr called the ringbearers to see if we seen Tashmar," Orko said. "He has been worried sick since he ran away from home," he said.

"Tashmar," Man at arms said.

Then Tashmar went into the garden and was feeling low. He was wondering why he ran away in the first place. He was just worried after doing something that his grandfather would be mad at him and not love him anymore. But he didn't want to worry him. He sighed and wondered what to do.

Inside the palace Orko was going call Granamyr and the other ringbearers. He was going to tell them Tashmar was at the palace.

Tashmar was wondering how he could face his grandfather after what he did. Then he heard Hannah. "Hannah are you alright?" Tashmar asked.

"My stomach really hurts," Hannah said.

Tashmar brought Hannah into the palace. "Hannah's sick," Tashmar stated.

The palace doctor took care of Hannah right away. A few hours later the doctor came out. "How is she?" Noah asked.

"It was her appendix," the doctor said. "Lucky for her Tashmar brought her in so she could be seen really quick," he said. "The appendix was removed and was a successful operation," he said. "So she is going to be fine," he said.

"Tashmar you did a good job despite running away," Vana said.

"Why did you run away anyway?" Masde asked.

Tashmar sighed pulled out something broken. "This is one of Grandpa's most prized possessions and I accidentally broke it," Tashmar said. "I feared if he found out he wouldn't love me anymore," he said.

"Oh," Orko said. "Everyone makes mistakes Tashmar," he said. "If you tell him it was an accident he would understand," he said. "True he might get angry but he would be glad you told him what happened," he said.

"Yes running away doesn't solve a problem it makes things worse," Vana said.

Then Granamyr came to the palace. Tashmar showed him what he broke and explained what had happened. He was sad and looking afraid. The Granamyr hugged him. "I'm certain it was an accident Tashmar and Tashmar you are my grandson you mean more to me than some magic trinket," Granamyr said.

Then the two dragons headed home and things were starting to calm down again.

"Hi in today's story you read how Tashmar ran away from home, because of a problem," Orko said. "But running away doesn't solve anything except in fact it makes problems worse." He said. "Try to fix the problem and there is someone who cares about you who will be willing to help," he said. "Until next time," he said.
