Chapter 50 Life goes on

Orko and Dree Elle's baby a little boy named Eddym was born about a week ago. It was taking sometime getting used to. Orko had a feeling life was going to change even further. Mostly because Azron's health was starting to fail. With his failing health it was harder and harder for him to teach Orko the stuff he should know to be the oracle who would replace him. Orko was fully realized which was true, he was being prepared what he needed to do when he would become the oracle when the time came. Though Orko felt when it does happen he won't actually be ready, just like when Adam became He man he wasn't ready. But he had to make himself ready when it happens.

Azron due to his failing health getting worse and worse, he was depending on the other ringbearers for everything. He was very weak and frail. He knew he didn't have much longer left to live. He knew his time was drawing near and soon he would die. He was planning on calling all of the ringbearers to be present when it does happen.

"Masde, get the other ringbearers here," Azron said one day in that early spring. "Bring them to me," he said coughing.

"Of course Azron," Masde said. She found Foosabella breaking up a fight between to teens. "Foosabella, Azron calls for us." She told her.

"Okay I'm coming," Foosabella said. Then came with her and the found Ero Dee giving Chancor a music lesson.

"Ero Dee Azron calls for us," Masde said.

"Okay I am coming," Ero Dee said. "Come on Chancor," he said.

"I'm coming," Chancor said grabbing Ero Dee's cloak.

They found Vana who was telling a couple kids a story of her adventures. "Vana sorry to interrupt the story, but Azron calls for us," Masde said.

"I'm coming, don't worry kids I will finish the story later," Vana said.

"Ah!" The kids said.

They found Orko in the palace who was Dree Elle they were putting Eddym down for a nap.

Masde came up. "Orko I came to tell you Azron is calling for us," Masde said.

"I got to go Dree Elle I will be back as soon as I can," Orko told her.

"I know you will," Dree Elle said kissing him.

Chancor stayed at the palace to play with Hannah.

The five ringbearers headed to the hut where Azron lived. Foosabella, Ero Dee, Vana and Masde also lived there.

When they got there, they noticed the Trollans for the colony that was starting was there. Along with the friends of Azron who could live a very long time. "I wonder what is going on," Ero Dee said.

"I appears his time has come," Masde said.

"What I can't go in there," Vana said.

"Vana he asked for all of us," Foosabella said.

"We will all be with you the whole time," Orko said placing a hand on her shoulder. The other ringbearers nodded their heads.

"Okay," Vana said.

Then they headed into the hut where a healer was tending to Azron. "Here is some water Azron," the healer said giving him a sip of water.

"Thank you," Azron said. He saw the other ringbearers come in. They all stood at his bedside. "Foosabella you have shown much in the name of peace, you ended the wars that happened after the actions of the unnamed one and my disappearance," he said.

Foosabella nodded her head.

"Ero Dee, you found the courage to do things despite being afraid and protected the way of Trollan life." Azron said.

Ero Dee nodded his head.

"Vana one who travelled far making friends with others and helping Trolla mend broken relations, and learned you can't run from your problems and teamwork is the best way to get things done," Azron said.

Vana nodded her head.

"Masde so full of love and kindness, you helped weaken the unnamed order and redeemed others, and filled many on Trolla with love," Azron said.

Masde nodded her head and dabbed her eyes.

"Orko such spirit, hope and faith, you have the traits of the others, desire for peace, courage, friendship and love, you also never give up," Azron said. "The time has come for you to become the oracle who will do what needs to be done." He said. "After my send off go to the star tree it is holding something for you I asked it to do so, take it and do your best," g
He said.

"I will," Orko said.

"All of you made me proud of my ring and how it became a mark of honor, never forget that I am proud all of you and the ones yet to come," he said. Then he closed his eyes and took his last breath and died.

The healer listened to Azron's chest. "He's gone," the healer said.

The ringbearers left the hut and saw the Trollans that were there looking at them. As were the old friends of Azron. "Someone has to tell them," Vana said.

"I'll do it," Foosabella said. Then she came up front. "Everyone I am saddened to say that Azron has died today," she said. "He will be laid to rest on Trolla like many great wizards before him," she said.

All the Trollans were shocked and a few old friends of Azron cried.

Then Orko and other ringbearers came back to the palace. "Hey look Orko is back," Andra said.

"The other ringbearers are with him, I don't see Azron he still comes despite his health," Damien said.

"I think something happened," Hannah said sounding worried.

The heroic masters and the royal family was there.

"Everyone we have some bad news," Orko said. "Azron the Trollan Oracle of old has died today, he will be laid to rest on Trolla like all the great Trollan wizards before him, I also have to go before the Star tree to pick up something it is holding for me at his request he made before he exiled himself to here on Eternia all those thousands of years ago," he said. "The important thing to know is he was at peace when he went and now is no longer suffering," he said.

"We are all so sorry," King Randor said.

"Azron was very wise," Teela said.

"He helped us all so much I think we should all head to Trolla for the funeral to pay our final respects to him," Adam said.

"We know Azron would have appreciated that very much," Foosabella said.

The day of the funeral came. All of the Trollans were dressed in black robes, dresses, hats, hoods, and dark gray veils and scarves. Orko's friends wore black clothes too. All present saw Azron's body in a coffin. Then they watched as he was lowered into his grave. They watched as he was buried and his headstone was put up. It was very sad. Everyone there was paying their final respects to the Trollan Oracle of old.

Orko headed to the temple of power and told the overlords what Azron told him. "If Azron says it has something for you go in," Za-gras said.

The veil was lifted and Orko went in. Orko sat before the star tree. "Star tree I am Orko and Azron has died and says you are holding something he gave you to give to me when I take his place as the head oracle," Orko said.

The star tree opened its eye and made something appear. "This is a ring medallion, he made it for you just like your staff," the star tree said. "It has the same powers as his did, now you must learn how to unlock the powers it contains on your own and I know you can do it," he said putting the medallion around Orko's neck. The ring medallion that was made for him looked different than the one Azron had but it was very similar with power though.

"I will use it well and do my best to still be worthy of this honor," Orko said.

"Very good now go young Oracle Orko your life and destiny on Eternia still has a long way to go, and your son has his own destiny too, for him he will find love will always find a way," the star tree said.

Orko nodded and left the room where the star tree was. The overlords nodded to Orko and watched him leave.

Orko made it back to Eternia with his friends. "This will not be easy for me, but I know with my friends by my side nothing I can't handle," Orko said.

Everyone agreed and got close after a hard day. Finally after a few weeks after Azron's death the ringbearers came to assist and live at the palace. Life felt like it could move forward again.

"In today's story you read how someone who was important and close to many had died," Damien said. "You may have experienced the death of someone you love, a friend, a family member or even a pet," he said. "It is hard when it happens and it is okay to feel many different feelings about it," he said. "Also there is no one way to grieve, people grieve in different ways and soon life moves forward in time," he said. "Until later," he said.
